Dark-panelled Victorian pub in the heart of Theatreland. The chandeliers and etched mirrors are beautiful. The single-room downstairs bar fills up quickly, and doesn’t easily accommodate large groups, although there is a separate dining room upstairs. The choice of cask ales and craft beers is limited. Much better options for beer drinkers nearby. Nevertheless, the decor and friendly staff warrant a 4-star review.

A decent pub in the backstreets behind Piccadilly Circus. It’s pretty small downstairs so don’t expect a set after work time. There looked like there was an upstairs too so there may have been more space up there. It was good to see Paulaner Municher Hell on tap too. Despite recent reviews this came in at £6.50. Not altogether bad, but also not sub £6 either. Worth popping by for a flyer but not the sort of place you’d spend all night at.

Came here for a pint around 10pm on a Friday night. Pub was lively, mostly due to the theatre crowd I guess. Great location to grab a beer if you are in PC. Price was great, not like tourist traps in other cities.

Great beer great pub food, and great service. Some people seemed in a hurry to get their check. I don't know why. Sit back enjoy life and the great pub food. Some of the best steak and ale pie I've had in London. No frills just good simple food. Reserve a table to avoid getting turned down. We got lucky, others not so.

The reason I love this pub is because of it's calming nature and environment. Due to its limited space in the middle of Soho this pub can offer you the escape you are looking for from your daily routine. The stuff is so friendly and professional. Totally recommend this place if you want to enjoy a nice beer and a calm environment.

Popped in for a drink, cocktails on Happy hour, so got 2 x expresso martinis and a pint, with service charge cost £22.53.

Top-notch pub. Super friendly staff, for central London, cheap for beer. Absolutely recommend this place. It gets a bit busy after the theatre next door has finished, but even then, because of the staff, i'd rather be there than anywhere else! I'll definitely be back 😁

Great little pub with superb staff. They’re all exceptionally friendly and welcoming and it’s a wonderful spot for a relaxing drink, no matter if you’re alone or in a large group. The range of drinks on draught is a little different to the ordinary, but the prices are great given the location. There’s a full range of spirits though, again well priced. Toilets are clean, the decor nice and traditional and I’ll certainly be returning.

One for the Guinness drinkers. A wonderful little pub. A little oasis hidden away off the madness of Picadilly. Service was superb as was the atmosphere...and the Guinness was fantastic. Having lived in Dublin for 12 years my experience of London Guinness hasn't been great (massive understatement). Here though it was perfectly pulled and tasted as it should. Will have to go back to make sure it wasn't a one off :-)

Great little pub if you want Sunday roast! There’s a bar area downstairs and the dining area upstairs. It was my first time having Sunday roast and it was amazing. The portion was great and was very filling.

Brilliant independent pub in the centre of loads of fake ones in central London. Excellent quality beer and really pleasant, decent service. Superb value too, for London.

A very cozy, picturesque old pub where you can absolutely enjoy a pint and relax. Very comfortable chairs, very friendly staff, great beer, and surprisingly cheap taking into consideration that the pub is located in Soho. Definitely worth visiting it!

Great pub and a great pint of Guinness. Others nearby may claim to do the best pint of Guinness in London - but this no nonsense, friendly pub is definitely up there! I will be back.

To everyone at the Queens Head, Where to begin! I want to say a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart for hosting a truly incredible 30th birthday. From the moment we arrived till the very last orders, you welcomed us in like friends and made us feel at home. I can’t speak highly enough of your team - Katy, Dish and the lovely Australian lady were absolutely brilliant with us all night and my friends commented how much of a difference it makes, they’re all a huge credit to your venue. We also really appreciated the little touches - the welcome bubbly/shot, the birthday card, the music system any the general presentation of the place were all top notch and made for a great experience. We’d recommend The Queens Head to anyone. Will - big thanks to you for helping organise this from the start, you delivered on everything you promised and I’m truly grateful. This night will live long in the memory!

We booked the private room upstairs for a 30th birthday and it couldn’t have been better. The loveliest staff working there, they left us a bottle of Prosecco and did a birthday card. It was just the best experience and a 10/10 venue. Having the private bar was amazing and it was all lit up beautifully. Couldn’t recommend it more thank you thank you!

I couldn’t speak more highly of this pub! I hosted my boyfriend’s 40th on the second floor and it was the perfect venue! The staff were second to none - from emailing organising months ago to their incredible care and attention on the night! It made a night of high pressure feel effortless! Special shout out to Dish who was a true angel! And the perfect touch - a birthday card and bottle for the birthday boy! Amazing night in wonderful venue

First class small pub , full of character and style . Visited a Halloween drag bingo night , excellent night organised by the team there , staff were just fantastic , just fun and welcoming , big thanks to Will , who did his best to make sure we were catered for and we managed to get the last tickets going ! Such a breath of fresh air for staff for being so helpful , fun and friendly, would gladly return to sample their cuisine and enjoy another drink in a wonderful pub in the heart of Piccadilly /Soho . Cheers guys and the Drag Bingo Ladies 😃 10/10

Wonderful "indie" pub right in the heart of Soho, a stone's throw from Piccadilly Circus. If you fancy a pint in a non-touristy place, right in the heart of the Big Smoke, do visit. Recommended.

Great pub with good music. In the ground floor you can book a room for private plays and parties. The staff was so kind. The cocktails are delicious! 100% recommended! ;)

Good pub near Piccadilly Circus tube station. Two cask beers on handpump when I visited. Interesting interior with two very large chandeliers. Standing room for drinking on the quiet road outside.

Okay little pub. Don’t serve normal cola so made for a bad experience with drink mixers but they did swap with out any issues at all. Apart from that nice atmosphere for a quick drink before the theatre.

The arena where the usual live music takes place is a bit crammed up but overall it’s the cosy little corners that makes this place great. Usually, I don’t rate pubs with a 4 star due to their lack of sanitation in the toilets but the queen’s head toilets were top notch. For the first time in my life I saw premium hand wash which smells great and a hand dryer which is in perfect condition as far as hot air is concerned. The toilets were extremely clean despite being full of people who are dizzy and can’t shoot at right direction, usually you see this a lot in pubs. Smelly toilets and you feel like puking. The cherry on the top thing which prompted me to put a review was that they had a hand moisturiser as well, in a pub, that too in London. This is crazy. I had a wonderful experience visiting this pub. Also, out of context, met a wonderful rapper/singer Danny who has roots in Bombay India, was mind blown by his performance. Please write to me if you can find his instagram handle. Adios!

PInpointing this tucked away little pub, we get settled quickly. We were served by a friendly bartender, and we felt the CArbon air quickly wash away after the downpour we escaped from! A great little pub, with cosy corners and a welcoming atmosphere.

When I went it was noon on a Saturday and it was quite. A old style pub with period features. Friendly staff. Would have been a 5* if the beer range had been greater. Having said that the selection was far from bad.

Great place to grab a drink before and after a show. The bartenders were very good and efficient, when I was there. Nice pint of guinness.

After walking around for a while with my wife, we popped in here to rest a little and take in refreshments. The blackberry cider was tremendous and service was excellent.

Nice pub, really crowded. What made my experience,a part from the staff who is really kind, is the fact that the toilets are extremely clean and that there is even the hand cream! Really well done guys! Keep on having higher standards like that!

Wanted a quick drink, been to 3 pubs in London today, place was empty but looked in inviting, staff seem surprised when we walked in and then asked my 19 year old daughter for ID which is fair enough but she had nothing on her, she was not drinking alcohol anyway, but one person was simply shaking his head saying "no, no, ,no", very odd, we asked if we should leave and they said yes. Terrible service, we left in disbelief at how we were treated, as I say, the place was empty, adding insult to injury, it appeared they were laughing at us when we left, shame we could not sample any of the drinks on offer! Staff need a course in customer service and politeness towards customers. Such a shame. I have no problem in seeking proof of age either, but there are ways and means of doing it politely.

Lovely old pub, good atmosphere. Live band playing when we called in. Just be aware that their licence doesn't allow under 18's for none alcoholic drinks. Didn't have on this occasion, but they do a great pie and mash

I will start with how sorry I am this took so long to write. I should have done it immediately, but life got in the way. This is BY FAR our favorite pub in London. The look, the vibe the staff and of course the drinks. Everything fires on all cylinders. Adding cream to the top, they offer live music. Not just any music, but quality. Queens Head is cozy and unassuming. You feel like you know everyone there and the staff treats you like family. Frankie, Will, Katey and Nicole are all amazing. When i showed them my home bar, they immediately collected items to add to my fun. Check them out in the pic section. We just cannot say enough about this Pub. It is always the first one we go to when we get to London and the ONLY one we go to everyday are there. GO GO GO.........You will NOT regret it.
