Walking around looking for a place to have a drink and happened upon here. It drew our attention with the colourful flower arch. The cocktails were delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there is a great atmosphere inside. Cocktails are on the pricey side, but it's Covent Garden, so fairly standard

Excellent atmosphere and the perfect vibe for a night out. I mean you know it's going to be a good experience when the greeter is wearing a top hat underneath that beautiful flowery entrance. First of the staff were very friendly, chatty, and knowledge about the drinks they served, so it didn't feel like you were being a pain while ordering! The main cocktails are served in 1 drink, 2 drink, and 4 drink prices, and it works out slightly cheaper to get the 4 drinks in one go. Definitely worth giving as many as possible a try as the ones I had all taster great. I also had an old fashioned, which is hit and miss in a lot of places as it can be made too bitter. Mr Fogg's Tavern however make it perfectly. A good balance of whisky taste and orange zest being the main flavour profiles. The tavern is beautifully decorated and feels like home to me, an Englishman. Every corner of this place has been meticulously crafted to feel nostalgic, homely, and to draw the eye, every time you look around there is something you didn't spot before. If you're in the Covent Garden area (and are able to get in) I highly recommend giving Mr Fogg's Tavern a visit!

A unique bar with its own 19th century style decor. Old time songs playing in the background. Very pleasant service.

Once visited, always remembered! Really quaint parlour upstairs, with the most incredible array of gins! Great staff all very helpful, with some great suggestions. This really needs to be booked & it's worth the visit. Downstairs is very vibrant with very old English decor. Again staff are brilliant & add to the fantastic atmosphere. Thursday's is an old London sing along..... Fabulous!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Amazing Cocktails and Fish n Chips. Would recommend dropping by if you're in the neighborhood. I tried the spicy rupee and it was pretty amazing. It has a nice zing to it but nothing too strong. Overall the pub has an old school pub and music. The staff is extremely helpful and nice to talk to. Overall great service, food and cocktails

Warm and cosy atmosphere, so close to Leicester Square tube station. They were even children friendly and accommodated our twins in a double buggy. Good selection of cocktails, slightly bit on the expensive side but worth the experience. Don't bother with the cakes, they were obviously bought from a wholesale and very dry. Otherwise, Thumbs up

Staff simply could not do enough here which with the unique decor, stand out drinks and fully immersive experience made this bar a brilliant place to go. The only improvement I would have made is having the staff knowledgeable about the cocktails and guiding customers when customers needed it. We really enjoyed the couple of cocktails we had. Staff kindly topped us up with water quite quickly which was nice in the heat and to have alongside alcohol which can quickly make your mouth dry and mean you feel a bit sick thus removing any benefits of a cocktail. The water meant that we drank our cocktails for taste and followed up with a second because we were well hydrated. I think if the water hadn't been plentiful we may have stopped at one cocktail. The plain water also allows us to appreciate all the sensory notes of the cocktails. The vibe here is pretty chilled but you will probably want to come in something semi formal as most people including the staff are smartly dressed.

Great spot for a pint, cocktail, and a tasty small plate. Their cod bites and chips were delicious! The inside of the pub is way cool, too! I'd definitely plan to come back and bring my friends here! Cheers to Mr. Foggs!

I did the gin tasting experience with a friend.. It was super fun, Georgia the gin Master was amazing in the presentation and the tasting of the gins. I learnt a lot. The place is cosy with more than 200 gins to try.. Well I didn't try all but a couple. I had a great time with my friend. Will definitely recommend and come back again to try more gins!

Nice pub with friendly staff. Have always wanted to come here but it has always been busy. Managed to get in without booking. Décor is amazing and the toilets are great too. Definitely recommend paying it a visit. We didn't have anything to eat but maybe next time

Can't wait to go back! Couldn't stay long as we had other plans but very intimate - lota of history and a beautiful old building. Want to go back for a sandwich and pint as they looked delicious and only £12! Great location and out cocktails 🍸 were very tasty. Great service and smiley staff. Very busy, but it is London ( even on a weekday) See you soon 🍸🇬🇧

Pub in central London 🇬🇧 We stopped for some drinks and chicken wings, the food was good, the drinks a bit expensive in my opinion and we waited a long time for the staff to come outside. Although they do have a great terrace with lot of space.

One for the road became one to many 😂 Had a great time here and that one drink became prosecco, a tequila shot and a cocktail. Great staff! Specially Martin for your chat and speedy recovery with your finger .. Great drinks and cocktails. Like with any pubs in London, you'll always find some loud people and this place is no exception.

Lovely old pub in a great location, very busy and a great atmosphere. The down side was my partner ordered a couple of spirits but because they were on higher shelves and the lady couldn't reach we were refused and had to settle for drinks on the lower shelves or beer, which let the experience down, very disappointing

It's pretty small inside with little seating. But the bartenders are friendly and they have their own brand of beer that is pretty tasty.

Great place to stop off. We got lucky as booked on the train 2 hours before arrival. When we were in there we were so glad we booked as got busy. Very quaint with lovely decor. Tried the cocktails, ale and cider which were all great tasting. Good value for money with the £12 deal for a sarnie and a side portion of chips. Staff were fantastic. Will be going back and trying the gin parlour next.

Super cute little place, quite snug inside, little bit of a squeeze. lovely staff, small toilets which you have to go downstairs for but clean. Very tasty cocktails about £12-&15 each for 10 of us having about 3-4 rounds was a £634 bill.. they do serve light bites but we just had drinks

A superb and unique pub, right in the centre of town. Very beautiful design with friendly staff. Wide veriaty of drinks, but they're alright, nothing too amazing, but it's more the experience inside this Tavern that makes it worth while.

Amazing themed bar. Singalong night was amazing too. ( Thursdats only) I recommend booking a table if you would like to sit, it gets quite crowded. Drinks are a reasonable price. £6 a pint of lager.

Went for sunday lunch at this small pub. It’s a great little find in Covent Garden. We got the lunch with bottomless drinks for 90 minutes, which was good fun, and they were tasty too. The lunch (I got the pork), was super tasty. Would definitely go back. The interior is fun, and has a great lively atmosphere. Very british!!! It was crowded when we went, so do book ahead. The service was very friendly here too.

Stumbled upon this tavern and it didn't disappoint. What a crazy place! A beer drinkers paradise with a few cocktails thrown into the mix. Food served as well, small menu, but was good. The decor was mad as seen in the photos. Staff very helpful and polite. Would recommend a visit.

Visited the quirky gin bar upstairs. Run, don't walk, to this place if you love gin. Their selection of esoteric gins is truly impressive. This is a small, intimate venue however, so be sure to make reservations.

Very quirky and eccentric style bar where staff dress up in steam punk style clothes and serve a range of very funky but delicious cocktails. The interior decor is unique, and the bar is recognisable from the outside with its beautiful flowery entrance. Cocktails are what you would expect for London prices, but they are worth experiencing. I highly recommend checking out and stopping for a drink!

Went for something sweet and both rounds of ciders were good! The fruity strawberry & apply old mout cider had us ooh-aahing. It goes down the throat like slushies, smooth. It also comes with fresh raspberries and blueberries. Worth coming again.

The loveliest central pub to spend a sunny Thursday afternoon! Went for a bottle of wine served in this decadent goblet, extra lovely ice on the side and a treat for the eyes with all the bar staff in fancy Victorian dress! A great mix of guests ranging between the lads, the ladies, and family fun! And I cannot boast about the toilets more as they are the nicest pub bathrooms I’ve ever seen to date! Must stop in when circling covent gardens X

This gorgeous tavern is full of character, from the decor to the music-hall songs playing in the background. I loved it and sang my heart out.....great fun. On top of that, the cocktails and food were delicious, and the staff were great, especially the young lady from Melbourne. Huge thanks to all.

Great pub in Covent Garden! Pictured are the cod bites and chips, and British beef Sunday roast. The cod and chips were yum and really crispy but fluffy on the inside. The Sunday roast was delicious too and had plenty of gravy. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the decor was like a old shipwreck. Recommend this pub to anyone

Had some lunch and cheeky cocktails here. London prices, the food was good pub grub and the cocktails were a big hit with her ladyship. I had a nice pint of pale ale. Staff friendly but what sells it is the vintage/eclectic interior. Great fun!

I recently visited mr Fogg’s tavern located in the heart of London and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The establishment had a pirate-inspired theme, which added to the overall ambiance and made it a fun place to be. As for the food, the prices were reasonable for central London. The burgers were good, and I highly recommend the chicken burger as it was particularly delicious. In summary, if you're looking for a fun and lively pub experience in London, I highly recommend checking out this English pub.The food is reasonably priced and the chicken burger is a must-try.

Amazing little find! The downstairs is a cozy pub with atmosphere courtesy of its dark wooden panelling and decor. The upstairs, however, is a hidden gem of a gin bar oozing with charm, and stepping in feels like a trip back to a time of saloons and secrecy. The menu of gin and gin cocktails was almost overwhelming for choice, but the lovely team are on point to ask your flavour preferences and offer suggestions. Really great place for those new to gin and those with an experienced palate but looking to explore more unique gin flavours. We had a lovely time, and one drink turned into a few, and we are already planning to return with friends to show off our find!

If you are a gin lover this is a must visit place. Head upstairs to the Mr Fogg’s Gin Parlour, which houses an impressive bastion of over 100 gins, 15 tonics and a plethora of complimenting botanicals. Expect exquisite cocktails alongside seasonal small dishes and Victorian delights 😉🍸🧉🍹Enjoy!!!

I asked the lady on the door if I could use the toilet: she said it was for customer use only. I offered to buy a bottle of water but she advised me they dont sell water therefore I couldn’t use the toilet. She advised it wasn’t her that made the rules, it’s due to Covid. Funny how the pub a cross the road was able to allow me in... I wore mask, sanitised hands and checked in On NHS app none of which I had a problem with... also None of which the lady on Mr Fogg asked me about... companies using Covid to suit themselves. Apologies if allowing a member of the public access to your toilets after politely asking brings your standards down... very disappointing!!!!

We went for their festive food menu before we went into tier 3. The staff were jolly, friendly, funny and very covid conscious. The food was great and the drinks were delicious. Shams they had to close in lockdown but when they're allowed open they are a very covid conscious place and I'd highly recommend

Extremely charismatic and friendly staff - I would recommend booking ahead as you will only get an hour slot if you are a walk in and you may not even get in! Due to covid they have expanded the outdoor seating to outside the Noel coward theatre which made for a lovely drink on the steps of Dear Evan Hansen. Mr Fogg's craft beers were very nice.

Very nice discovery in London. This pub has plenty of character! Thr outside is always amazingly decorated and the inside will amaze you as soon as you walk inside. This is such a pretty pub. The decor and ambiance is a mix of old English pub with modern fusions. We went here in the afternoon. Service was good as well. Had a few beers and some sharing platters. Definitely worth a visit.

We visited the gin bar upstairs, it's really cool and quirky. Old style furniture, fancy dress hats to try on and beautiful collection of glassware. Cocktail menus sit in a wooden box and the cocktails themselves are very creative. You have the table for an one hour 30 minutes which is more than enough as the chairs are really uncomfortable. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Would recommend for a couple drinks. Expect to pay £15 for a cocktail (includes service charge)

Such a great location! Did not expected that... Just wanted to have a nice chat and beer after visiting Piccadilly Circus but that location has blown my mind! There was a singer and piano player and carols books laying around and the whole crowd was singing... Beside that the location was very nice and the service was just perfect...

Glamour-ised pub. Nice cocktails though (but asking for double gin in a G&T was a "miss"😉)

  • 3/5 Debbie W. 3 years ago on Google
Great decor and music provides a good atmosphere. However it is intimidating to enter the pub with 3 male staff in doorway and confusing that the sign above the door says max 2 guests (when this isn't true for not takeaway?). The constant movement of the staff around us was uncomfortable. There didn't seem to be that many people in the pub yet there were seemingly 6+ members of staff moving around us, often all in the doorway area where we were sat.

Didn't manage to stay long enough to not like the place. Were wondering the streets of London on Saturday night, looking for a place for decent drinks. They had a table for 30min which meant we had to drink quite quickly. Even so the Ginny Tray was fun and good value. Also think we had more than half hour because they didn't quite chase us till we were almost done. Sat outside so can't comment about the interior but great vibe and would definitely go again. Must remember to book next time!

My ratings would have been much better if the gentleman at the entrance had been more friendly. He left us out in the rain because we were 10 minutes too early.
