Delicious food, but service is a bit slow - highly recommend the Sunday roast, we had the mushroom option and it was delicious. The panna cotta dessert was excellent as well. Service was really slow for us so we waited a while for the food and for the check. Nonetheless would recommend for a solid pub meal Went back for dinner and it was fab - the cheese croquettes, the whipped feta, the mussels are really good!

An interesting Georgian era pub and dining room named after a local builder! The pub was fine after getting over the threatening welcome signs outside "Private news, no standing or mobile phone use". A good beer or two and friendly attentive staff. A couple of cask ales on offer along with a range of keg lager, cider and Guinness. An enjoyable drink.

A fantastic dining experience here. Just got here in time to order some food. The Battered Haddock was absolutely fantastic. Great moody vibe with a vibrant amount of people. Definitely would recommend 👌

A pleasant atmosphere for a Sunday roast, comfortable and stylish environment. The dishes are delicious and plentiful, the staff is also very friendly, helpful and competent.

They don’t take legal tender, Pound Sterling! No cash!! What a joke. I ordered a cider took a sip as the waiter got his card machine out and I said no worries I will pay in cash. “Sorry we don’t take cash!” I gave the chap a ten pound note and drank the cider. Maybe a NO CASH sign before one enters or at the bar would be helpful.

A quaint pub on the vibrant Elizabeth Street of Belgravia. The food is great - It is difficult to go wrong with any of the dishes. The outdoor seating has a great ambience. You will often find it full towards the end of the week and the weekend, so I would recommend making a booking.

Christmas Eve dinner at the Thomas Cubbit (which will become a perennial family tradition). Dinner, drinks and dessert exceeded expectations! Thank you to Darrell, John, Skye, Roseanna, Jack (and Amelia) for an amazing experience. We will be back. The Sunday roast was exceptionally seasoned, Jack made me a bespoke Old Fashioned (asked which spirit I preferred (rum/whisky), Roseanna and Skye were on top of any needs for the table. Dessert was top shelf (I ordered the chocolate mousse).

Walked here just straight off the train from the airport and I was not disappointed! A beautiful spring day - sunny - temps near 20 deg C and everyone out to enjoy it with a long leisurely lunch. Yet they took me and my son as walk-ins without question - even helped w the one piece of luggage. We had fish and chips and wings and a pint! A glorious meal and afternoon here or people watching. I suggest you drop in, drop out and do the same!

Visited there for a work function. They were very kind to make me gluten free alternatives after I learnt my dietary requirements at the event. I really appreciate it. The services were good too by keeping our glasses full. I will definitely go back to visit again when I am around the area.

Second visit to this place, think its safe to describe it as an upmarket gastropub which i believe is a good description of this friendly place. Dog friendly, outside seating is great and the burger was moist and delicious, brioche bun was lush, partner has fish and chips which was lovely and fresh. Expresso martinis and margarita cocktails made this a visit to remember, cost £93 and think this is good value

Food was not good. Over spiced, too much deep frying, oily and even the vegetables were overdone and smothered in oil. Good bread and the butter had a nice taste. Nice crowd of people and it does get very noisy, I struggled to hear conversations at our table but I didn’t mind as we enjoyed the buzz. Waiters are run off their feet upstairs and because of the loudness they have a tendency to approach the table shouting to the point it was irritating. They did this too often when all we wanted to do was enjoy each others company and hear the stories of each others lives. The guy downstairs welcomed us in with a calmness and law and order.

Group of 4 at the front of the restaurant which became very noisy so next time will ask for table at the rear. Girls had Margaritas followed by wine and boys had some great beer and wine with food. The food and service were excellent. Three had Smoked haddock Graham and I had Bacon Chop with Celery, lentils and mustard. Really good food. Very friendly waiter ensured service was excellent. Great place just for drinks but as I’ve said food very very good. Will definitely go again 😁

Impressed with the exceptional service at this pub. The attentive staff created a welcoming atmosphere, and the real fireplace upstairs added a cozy touch. Opted for the hake fish pie-style dish, and it was absolutely delicious. A delightful experience overall.

Just had a superb meal with my GF in Thomas Cubitt. Can’t fault the atmosphere, service and desert was probably the best I have ever been served. You must eat the chocolate mousse cake, with home made marmalade and brown butter ice paired with thier port. Great value for outstanding for any I eaten in many a top flight restaurant!

Bizarre Christmas dinner. Cooked salmon with turkey, potatoes and gravy… turkey was revolting, very processed and cheap. Forgot 2 of us gluten free which meant they couldn’t have starter. Good service but total rip off on price. Would not recommend as was special party that cost a 150/head!

A great little pub in the heart of Belgravier where you can eat and drink in comfortable surroundings. The food, although pricy, but you are in the heart of Belgravier, was delicious and the service was quick. There is a good range of beers and wines to choose from but the seats could do with some cushions as the hard wood can get uncomfortable after a while. Staff were friendly and polite. Watch out for the £2 they add to your bill, for saving the trees, without asking you. However, well worth a visit.

Reasonably good food, friendly service, high prices. It’s not bad but just not anything special - location is very nice and dishes are okay too. Just not sure this is a must try

I have been at Thomas Cubitt a few times over the years, for personal or business meals. I love the place and the rooms, the food is great and the staff is incredible. I always have a great experience. Thank you and see you soon!

We booked, literally last minute for Sunday lunch. The Tennyson sister restaurant made reservation for us. When we arrived, Jamie, the first person we encountered, knew who we were the moment we stepped in on this cold rainy Sunday - there had been a specific note about one of our party of three - and no they weren't a celebrity. We later learned that they had also amended our reservation due to a limitation of one of our guests. These days while it's apparently hard to hire, this team was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday roasts and fish and chips. Michael looked after us once seated, Jonno, who I expressed our appreciation to was lovely. I made an error on my order in that I asked for our beef to be cooked medium well, and should have just had it as it came, hence my 4 stars. I . Lovely environment and great staff - perfect for lively, but still cosy, Sunday lunch. Will come again

Highly, highly recommend. One of the best pubs I’ve ever been to. Beautiful and well worth your while. Excellent burger too.

The person in front is very friendly and kind and it is a pretty place and that’s where it ends. They got very busy very quickly and staff is unable to handle it. I was waiting for food for long time. Then my beef carpaccio arrived brown. Food has the potential to be nice. Bread is great :) but the rest is off. And I think it is all because they are short handed.

Very average food although I remember that it used to be much better. Perhaps it was an off day, but nevertheless I expected a different experience. Will give it another shot some time in the summer to see if they are back in form.

The Elizabeth Street area is lively and has a nice vibe. We were seated on the first floor which worked out well, avoiding the hubbub of the downstairs bar area. The food was very good - central London is never going to be cheap, but I think £95 (including a 15% service charge) for 2 roast dinners and 2 drinks is steep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Once in a while it's a nice treat and, if your budget can take it, I would recommend a visit.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times and it’s a pud I keep in my back pocket. The service is friendly and attentive. I often dine here with someone with a severe food allergy and they are always very attentive to our needs. The menu is modern British and well executed though on the pricier side for A London pub. The wine list has always been good. It’s perfectly pleasant. The pub itself is quite loud so if you’re looking for a quieter evening, book the dining room and go early. The only other downside is they do that very Anglo thing of only booking tables for a couple of hours - minor inconvenience but the continent is nice where you can sit as long as you like.

What an amazing place! The food is exquisite, the atmosphere jovial and the staff are the nicest people I have ever come across. I had forgotten to ask for a table outside but the lovely manager went out of her way, nonetheless, to get me one. The Romanian waitress was especially helpful and attentive, explaining everything to us, making recommendations and she took the time to take our pictures, even though it was only her third day on the job. Out of all the neighbourhood gems, Thomas Cubitt is definitely a super gem.

Came here with friends from out of town, as always did not let us down. The Canadian manager as always on point, and insured we had a good time. The service was top notch and food was impeccable. I recommend this place to all of my friends and have yet to be disappointed. Thanks to all your staff for consistently giving me and my friends a great experience.

Ah, where to start... we had our wedding lunch at The Thomas Cubitt in the dining room and it was perfect. From the moment I started working with Rachel and Nancy, I felt so looked after and when we arrived, everything was laid out perfectly. The food and wine were exceptional and the service was truly outstanding. We were made to feel as though we were their only guests and the kindness, attention to detail and genuine happiness for us made the day so very special for us and our family. There is literally nothing bad I can say about this venue or the wonderful people who work there. A perfect event venue and one we will be visiting again and again.

Booking was very easy. On arrival we were greeted and taken to our table. The entire team of TC were welcoming and respectful of social distancing. The food was fabulous, good quality and tasted delicious. An overall delightful visit which will definitely be repeated.

Delicious food and drinks. The service was relatively fast. My favourite dish was the Pan-fried Halibut in the rich shellfish sauce. Not only was it presented beautifully, but the taste and texture also matched my expectations. The hispi cabbage and the rich broth-like sauce complemented well with the halibut which was cooked to a perfect tenderness. The 12-hr Braised Beef tasted good, though it was slightly overcooked, making the meat a little drier/chewier to my liking. It's rather like a Sunday roast too! The traditional Beer Battered Fish and Chips in the pub did not let me down. This piece of cod was meaty and succulent with a nice crispy batter crust. Oh, and the lovely chunky chips - fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I guess the most mediocre dish was the Mussels, Cockles and Clams. First of all, the shellfish were not cleaned properly, there were still traces of sand and beard in the mussels. Not great. The taste was fairly decent though the shellfish lacks flavour on its own (without the sauce). The upside is that it was served with chips so we didn't have to order an extra side. Their chips were great! Overall, we were glad that we got a table relatively quickly considering we didn't make a reservation. The service was friendly and quick, but the only hiccup was that the waiter got our bill mixed up with another table. A much bigger table that's not even close to us...and when I pointed out his mistake, he was a little defensive at first, saying 'No, it's not wrong'. However, he quickly apologised when he realised he was actually wrong. Because of this and the average shellfish dish, I had to knock a star off.

Lovely, elegant pub with great staff. We celebrated our wedding in over of the private rooms and truly loved the experience. The meat quality and wine selection are impressive.

Beautiful spot with friends my staff. The lamb saddle I had was perfection. A little warm inside, but lots of outdoor seating available.

We were so well looked after from the minute we arrived. I have never met such a nice team of people! Everyone was so friendly and efficient. Would recommend the private dining room for any events and The Thomas Cubitt team will knock it out of the park for you!

We have waited along time to return to our favourite gastropub (Covid safety etc) and were so looking forward to a tasty and enjoyable lunch. Particularly as it was a special occasion. However things have changed while the service was as great and friendly as usual the food was deeply disappointing. We many times before have had the chilli squid starter which is fantastic ( we were told it was very popular) but alas it has been replaced by breaded scallops and a ghastly sauce! The burger too has always been absolutely delicious and second to none but again someone has decided to replace perfection - goodness knows why? I’m sure we are not alone in our views. Sadly we are now unlikely to return as it was so very far below our expectation. We have in the past frequently recommended Thomas Cubitt Elizabeth Street to our friends. I do so hope that you will take notice of our comments as it’s such a shame to spoil what was a brilliant gastro pub. I’d be grateful for a response. Thank you

A classy pub in Belgravia with great food too. Its very crowded often and booking is difficult so don't expect to be easy to find a table. Staff could also be more friendly

Booked for a client lunch. Manager of TC didnt seem to know ingredients in dishes, when my colleague asked if there was dill in the fish pie, he exclaimed no but there was when it arrived meaning colleague couldn't eat dish. The manager also manage to break my client glass of wine meaning pieces of glass fell in his food (both food and wine were replaced but by the time his replacement had come, we'd finished our meal). We ordered another bowl of truffle chips so our client had something to eat whilst waiting for this replacement dish - 2 x bowls came out which we assumed was a gift for all the mistakes but we were actually charged for the unordered extra bowl of truffle fries. This was my second experience at the pub- the first time we found the service really slow but thought we'd give it another chance, however after this experience I don't see any reason to return. Our client was less then impressed.

Great food. Lamb very good, but choose some sides, not the biggest portions. Try their apple pie. You won't be disappointed.
