i came to eat breakfast and it was really disappointing. the porridge was served in its original packaging (so it was not homemade). we also ordered “fresh fruit” but they were anything else but fresh. the apples tasted like grass and the blueberries had no taste. also, they served us very small portions and we left as hungry as we were before. finally the coffee machine broke and we couldn’t get any drink anymore. i would not recommend at all this place.

Excellent Wetherspoons location. It was extremely busy but it was the fastest service I had experienced at any other location. Very large and accommodating for small groups. Excellent deals on drinks and cocktails as always. Highly recommend.

Have been to this Wetherspoons branch before and it has a nice ambience about it. My friend and I went on 04-12-21 to grab a quick meal before going to the theatre. We are familiar with the layout and how to order etc. When we arrived just after 5pm, the place was heaving. This branch is very popular and it was very busy, but we managed to find somewhere to sit. Ordering usually you can go to the bar, but now you can either download the app or scan the barcode on the table and it leads you to the website where you can order food and drinks, just click and order what you want, put your table number and card details in. My drink and food arrived within minutes and I was happy with the service. Can't complain. I had the meal deal - Fish and Chips with Peas. For Dessert I chose Warm Fudge Choc Cake with Vanilla Ice-Cream and it went down well. Toilets you have to take stairs up to the balcony and then another flight of stairs to the ladies but plenty of cubicles and fairly clean. Would definitely recommend this place, JD Wetherspoons is cheap and cheerful but reliable. Find service quite fast too in terms of ordering food and drink. Everyone's experience may be different but I've never had any problems with them, this branch and Wood Green. Nice ambience, busy, vibrant, music in the background but all round good vibe.

Nice spoons located in what looks like an old theatre. It’s not as grand as other city Wetherspoons but is nicely laid out with lots of tables and booths. It’s quite a touristy area so can get busy here. Don’t bother queuing at the bar, find a table and use the app to get drinks and food brought to you.

it was a nice pub experience with a reasonable price. the food tasted not so healthy and felt like an instant food, but i liked the atmosphere! also, i loved the fact that all hot drinks are refillable

Wetherspoon prices for drinks very reasonable for this spot of London. For me as a German who isn’t used to digital orders a superb customer experience, ordering via app and get the orders really fast. Food quality medium but can you expect more for this price range ? Choice of drinks seems to be endless. We had fun

Another typical wetherspoons in a very central location. A little pricier than usual due to the central location but perhaps not as pricey as their pub on Leicester Square. It's good for large groups as there is ample space for seating . On a whole they're consistently average which can be considered to be a good thing. It's convenient for cutting through to the adjacent street in Soho as well

A very popular wetherspoons with a party atmosphere!! The building and layout of the wetherspoons is amazing. The staff were friendly enough to point out where the free tables were and they also cleaned the table for us. The food and drinks were classic wetherspoons!

The dessert I got was absolutely atrocious. I don’t usually go for the apple crumble but today I was feeling something fruity. The only thing I could have on my plate was the ice cream as the entire crumble was so off. The crumble tasted like clumps of powder with a sour taste and the apple was heavily slimy. I would not recommend this dessert at all. The atmosphere is extremely crowdy and rowdy.

If you want to have a really good time and discover the London Pub culture, go to The Montagu Pyke. Located near West End, there are great combos food plus beer which you cannot beat. Good pub food and draft beer direct from the tap. You cannot miss it while in London.

Large bar situated a couple of minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road tube station, deep in the West End. Highly recommend you download the Weatherspoons App so you can order food and drink from your table. Large choice and great prices of food and drink, so you can stay a while. Food served from 8am to 10pm. Free coffee refills for £1.25. Two cocktail pitchers (2 pints each) for £19.99.

Very fast service despite lot of people just crowding this place, very hard for the first time finding the tables, you just need to go around and around to find empty space. The back counter was close but it was not a problem since we ordered it through QR code. Good place to enjoy.

"How can you give Wetherspoons food 5 stars?" I hear you ask. Well, it's about quantity and price more than anything. The quality of the food is 3 stars, but for overall value, you would have to give it 5. The service was excellent, as always. Even though they got my bespoke wrong, the server couldn't have apologised enough and soon came back with the large breakfast with extra toast and beans to replace the eggs. The Montague Pyke is one of the most expensive Wetherspoons in the country, but the large breakfast with my extras to replace the egg was only £7.69. Unlimited hot drink refills at £1.59 are also more expensive than most Wetherspoons, but still an absolute bargain. Located south down Tottenham Court Road from its namesake station, it is well located for everything in the shopping district and surrounding areas.

Good range of beers at decent London prices. Wetherspoons brand works no matter where you are - you know what you're getting with no fuss or long queues. ALSO: This building used to be The Marquee Club so of extra interest!

pub atmosphere rather quiet and pleasant for a west end weatherspoons. Clean and the service was quick and efficient. The simply burger was ok, a burger Pattie, one gherkin slice and some relish. I do believe one would get a bit more on macdonalds for a burger only at £5.99 but the taste was ok. The chicken tikka was nicer, plenty of poppadoms and a good amount of chicken , warm and substantial.

I mean, it's a spoons, lol. You get what you pay for. The carpet is sticky, and the women's toilets are up about 4 flights of stairs but clean, at least. It's probably the cheapest place to drink in the area. However, the jugs were mainly ice, so even after 2 jugs each, we weren't drunk.

Our recent visit to The Montagu Pyke, a Wetherspoons establishment, offered a straightforward yet satisfying dining experience. The food, while not extraordinary, was exactly what one expects from Wetherspoons – tasty and fulfilling. We enjoyed a good meal that hit the spot without any frills. The atmosphere at The Montagu Pyke was pleasantly lively, contributing to an energetic dining experience. However, its popularity does mean that it gets extremely busy, particularly post-4pm. Finding a table during these peak hours can be a bit of a challenge, so timing is key for a more relaxed visit. The service efficiency was a standout feature. Our drinks arrived impressively fast, within five minutes of ordering, and the food followed suit, taking only about ten minutes. This quick service was especially commendable considering the busy nature of the pub. Overall, our experience at The Montagu Pyke was a positive one. It offered the reliable quality of a Wetherspoons with the added buzz of a busy London pub. It’s a great spot for a quick, no-fuss meal, especially if you plan your visit to avoid the busiest times.

Came here for a couple drinks on a bank holiday afternoon. As with all Wetherspoons there was a large variety of drinks on offer. The other guests inside were all grins lff the bar staff were helpful with quick service both online and at the bar. However one of our group suffers from Narcolepsy, and when they had to take a brief nap, a member of security tried to remove them from the premises even after we explained to them that it was a result of a medical condition, in the end they backed down, however it was slightly disappointing.

Fantastic venue. Down from Tottenham court Rd station. Said to my partner lets catch a pint when I saw wetherspoons sign. Place is like a TARDIS inside. Huge bars and seating. Must be old theatre or cinema. Great vibe great staff and splendid beer. I can thoroughly recommend. Didn't have a meal but huge plates of fish and chips being eagerly dispersed. Will be returning

Price is near duplicate, my fiend order a 13£ burger I it is same size than saving meny in macdonall, I request a half chiken and apper they heat on the microwave kook lik missing 20 min grill more. Beers a 6£ in wetherspoon. I think salaries in England are not prepared for these. Tables dirty like always when you to any wetherspoon they not learn anything after all coronavirus. Burger plate is like empty plate

Being a heavy rock/metal fan, I felt very much at home here. But I almost forgot that this was the last place of the legendary Marquee Club. I'm quite impressed with the service, but it is a bit slow, although it's pretty busy, and I can respect that. But good job anyway, guys and gals.

Interesting venue. Used to be the Marquee club where a number of famous bands played. Large establishment with plenty of seating and levels Only one coffee/drink machine in service so a long queue and food delivery was slow However I enjoyed the visit and warm atmosphere

We always pop into The Montagu Pyke if in the area of the West End.. Nice sized pub but always seems busy and therefore difficult to find a table/seat. (We were there just gone 5pm on Friday and it was very busy) Friendly staff, and although busy, quick service. Great atmosphere, loud but has a 'buzzing' feeling. There is seating upstairs, where you also find the main toilets. The ladies toilets are a bit of a trek, as once you go through the door... there are more steps. A great Wetherspoons...

Go to this spoons frequently as it’s the cheapest in central London. Usually it’s quite busy in the evenings but not during the day. It is slightly more expensive than other Wetherspoons further out. Food and drinks always arrive quickly. 7/10 spoons chips :).

Wetherspoons are cheap ‘n cheerful & they are especially great value for money in central London. Plenty of seating at this venue. Nice & peaceful during a weekday, but gets manic during the evenings & weekends. Friendly staff. If your not too sure about an ale, they tend to offer a tasting sample before you purchase.
