I didn’t press any choice but after I saw the bill they had already added 12.5% which amounted to £43. Add that to food which was completely substandard . £50 a head? What a joke. Overpriced and unremarkable. I can’t believe they are still getting away with food worse that harvester , in central London. Don’t come. Here for food.

A really nice pub hidden away in the centre of London. Just off the main touristic area this is a great place to grab a quiet drink with friends and chat. There is plenty of seating and they also show live sport.

Such a cute cosy pub! We went for a Sunday roast which was DELICIOUS! The Yorkshire puddings were incredible. There were dogs so it is dog friendly which is great, it didn't smell or anything so it didn't bother us that's e didn't have a dog. The only thing which is why it's lost a star is the service was so slow! Trying to get s drink or even salt and pepper was like pulling teeth, no one seemed to want to give us attention or serve us! Which was a shame as the food was so good.

There’s a range of seating inside and a number of cosy spots, along with a small outdoor section and the ability to stand out the front. The staff are friendly, there’s a good selection of drinks, and everywhere is clean including the toilets. Great pub and somewhere you can easily spend a few hours relaxing in.

We were part of a tour group & had dinner at this place, we were greeted by one of the lovely male managers who kindly escorted our group up the spiral staircase. The staff were very attentive, patient with our group & served us all with a smile & worked quite efficiently given that we had a large group. The majority of us had the beautiful fish n chips with mushie peas & tartare sauce. There were compliments all around so a massive thank you to all the team at Mulberry Bush! 😍

We were spending £200 and your trying to kick us out. We explained that we were told 5 and the waitress kept arguing and saying…I’m not arguing or trying to kick you out. You are…that was exactly what you were doing! Don’t know why the manager couldn’t come over and politely say something, apologise explain…anything but no. Must admit food was ok only, but I won’t be going back

Popped in after visiting the Tate Modern. Really nice atmosphere and feels a lot more personal than other pubs in tourist areas. The staff were really pleasant & helpful and the fish & chips were great. Much better value than the places on the South Bank too.

The food here is far better than your typical pub food. I had a Shepherds pie and it was honestly the best I’ve ever eaten. No mince, just delicious slow cooked lamb, gorgeous gravy and delicious fluffy mash.

Went for a business meeting today with a client and was really pleased with the service, covid protocols, food and the drinks. The menu selection was good for the time of year although lacking some Christmas decoration. (Understandable in current climate). The Pig in Blanket Sausage Roll was a particular highlight and certainly won't complain about the Gin

I went on Sunday evening, it was quaint loved the style of the pub. I ordered the food a roast dinner and it was delicious and very filling. We found this little gem yesterday for my god daughters 1st birthday. We were a bunch of 10 most of which had food allergies/special requirement/fussy. Nothing was a problem for the incredibly lovely staff who were slaving away in the heat. Actually had a great meal but the guy with a beard waiting the table spoiled it a bit. Bill came to about £255 and 12% service charge applied to 8 people. We were 5 so decided to pay £275 and he seemed upset by this and asked who was paying the difference. Student son offered his Google pay via phone and thinking the guy was joking let him offer to pay difference. Spoilt the evening a bit £275 for a pub meal for 5 i thought was pretty steep anyway

Booked my table until 7pm to be told when we arrived that they closing at 6pm. The girl apparently in charge was in hurry to close as we were offered takeaway cups b4 6pm. Told to leave at 6pm, there is drinking time for customers, isn't it???Food wasn't good at all. When your roast dinner is not good quality at least serve it hot.

The big problem is the food takes an extremely long time to arrive!!!!! A Chicken burger took 65 minutes to arrive, while a steak sandwich and fries took 80 mins. Service is friendly, food is great and very tasty - ONCE you get it. Do not eat here unless you have lots and lots of time, not a place for a work lunch!

We arrived 20 minutes late because of the Met line, grumpy staff member placed us on a small table in the doorway next to the queue to get in, we waited for service that never came, we walked out. Unpleasant experience for all concerned I think (although the venue will probably say it was our fault for being 20 minutes late in the first place which it probably was).

Needs a vegan Sunday roast option, and it is not ok to run out of veggie gravy on a Sunday, nor to run out of coffee anytime when Tesco is a short walk away - just go and buy some until you get your next supplier delivery. Otherwise- nice atmosphere and friendly staff and my friends enjoyed their food, would eat there again if convenient but not on a Sunday.

Went to this bar for my birthday what a total disaster! I made a reservation for a table and without informing me they cancelled my reservation. I ended up there with no where to sit! Eventually someone manage to find me a table and the waiters did not even acknowledge us. We had to wait so long for the food and drinks and messed our orders up. When we asked to pay our bill we have to wait nearly 20 mins to sort out our bill as they messed up the bill. I will never go back to this place again!

Nice pub. The food is not great...I ordered a burger without the bun I got a burger patty with some limp iceberg and a square of processed cheese on top, with fries for the price of £16. However, the fries weren't bad at all and they have a good Malbec.

We were meeting friends that we hadn't seen for ages and were looking forward to a catch up. A pub was the preferred choice as a couple of people wanted good beer and we were coming in from various places around London so picked here. What a mistake. The acoustics are terrible so the noise meant we spent the whole evening shouting and even then couldn't speak to the people on other side of the table without sign language. No table service (not a problem) but went to bar to order only to be told half our choices were unavailable. Picked through the remaining choices and managed to cobble together an order mostly steaks and sat and waited and waited and you get the picture. Finally steaks and the one fish and chips that we'd managed to order arrived. No pies yet. Others started pies arrived and we dug in. Steak people said tasty but not enough. I had a pie and that is the reason it is two stars. It was the best pie I've had. Just sell pies maybe that could be your esp. Plates finally cleared and went to order puds. Too late kitchen had just closed..........I appreciate the difficulties of getting produce but cut the menu down if you can't supply dishes, maybe inform food orders that they should order puddings at the same time to avoid disappointment? It was great to see our friends again which is what made the evening for us. Will not be coming back next time we meet. Maybe we're getting old but having to shout all evening is not our idea of fun.

This is one of those smaller, friendly yet stylish and homely feeling pubs, yet situated in the centre of London, near the Southbank, where it's enjoyable to drink outside during summer or comfortable inside when it's cold or raining. They also provide a limited menu of tasty, modern European bar food. As a drinking and dining venue, it's a little on the expensive side.

Fabulous food and drink, great ambience, really lovely staff who go the extra mile, and a team who are kind about food allergies and intolerances. With no notice at all, they always manage to cater for our family's weird and wonderful food problems without turning a hair. We go back time and again because it's everything you want in a pub.

The food was great, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and best of all my dog was allowed inside too! It's hard sometimes to find a good pub that allows dogs inside, so I'm so glad I found this place as I will definitely be going back again. The decor inside is lovely too.

Staff were attentive and very friendly. The Sunday roast was amazing. We had the beef as the chicken was sold out. Amazing plate of food and so much better than I could ever rustle up. Highly recommended and off the beaten track so not too busy even when the South Bank is heaving with people.

Nobody collected our plates or asked if we wanted pudding or coffee so after another 20 minutes or so we left and didn't glimpse another member of staff during our exit. Absolutely cracking afternoon for 20 people. We hired the upstairs room for a relaxed hen do (11am - 5pm) and found manager Lois' brilliant attitude and flexibility very easy to work with, both in the build-up and on the day. Dietary restrictions were easily accommodated in the platters we ordered and the plant burgers were so good that one vegan was convinced they were real meat!! The tv screen was easy to plug my laptop into for a rolling slideshow and we loved being able to hang some bunting - brilliant. Another bonus was having private toilets upstairs. It's the little things that make an event. London turned on the sunshine and we had the balconette doors open all afternoon. Special shout out to Araba behind the bar. We chose MB for our work xmas meal on 30/11/2023. We were thoroughly impressed. The kitchen staff were on point with our chosen courses. Each one served hot and cooked to perfection. The only down side to our evening was when the bill was requested, it took some time before a staff member returned with the bill which did not reflect the deduction of the group deposit. After a lot of back and forth and 40mins later the bill was finally settled. Would I go back? Yes!

This is going to be honest and up and down. We came for Christmas lunch as a group, they were extremely organised and ready for us. The food came out and was so lovely, the drinks, we couldn’t ask for anything better. The staff were lovely at the time. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We asked if we could leave our Christmas presents as we were going down stairs for more drinks, i said I would collect them another day, I was advised that I couldn’t even help take them down in to the cellar by our waitress as members of the public weren’t allowed there. This was a week before Christmas, the week after Christmas I message to go and collect the items, ‘yes no problem’. when I opened my boxes there were over half of the gifts missing, you would think ‘oh you probably missed a box’, no these were small presents, fitted in 2 boxes, I got 2 boxes back. There were some that hadn’t even been opened. I emailed them and was told there was nothing left. I had a full list of items that were missing. I emailed them and gave them the list, amazingly some were found but unwrapped and still some missing. The worst thing about it, I was told that the courier probably took the other items, the courier was me! Just be careful about your personal belongings when you go, keep anything valuable items close and always in your sight, even things like handbags and coats.
