Really smart corner pub, a short distance from Selfridges. Most of the other places off this end of Oxford Street are bars, and I much prefer this more traditional pub setting. Only two cask ales on at the time of my visit but I do really enjoy a well-kept pint of Harvey’s Sussex Best. Very good selection of craft beers, wines & spirits. A very nicely appointed interior and a small seating area out front too, great for people watching.

Great little pub just outside selfridges. They have a little dog keeping everyone safe. The prices are reasonable, a pint and coke was £8. Clean toilet ✨✨

Very cool little bar, really well kept, cracking beer. The fella behind the jump was very helpful. All in all, worth a look. Enjoy

We were passing through looking for a pint after lunch - a lot of the places in the area fall into the “tourist trap” category which we were keen to avoid. Luckily we found the Devonshire. This is a proper pub, with warm attentive service, and a great choice of beers on tap. Would visit again.

Door staff have massive attitude issues, go to the other metal pubs in Camden.. The dev sucks now because of jumped up door staff who literally threaten you. I am along haired metaller over 50 whose been in the d3v for over 25 years and it I don't expect grief for no reason from door staff who are happy to take their "security" badge off and come toe to toe expecting a fight. Disgraceful

I generally don’t leave reviews, especially of late night places that are institutions and generally sound but the treatment I received from the bouncer tonight has left me broken and in tears. I had come from carnival so was wearing a small pink bikini top, which was pretty revealing for my size 16 self. The bouncer told me to cover up, When I asked why, and specifically which elements of me needed covered , he told me my body made him “uncomfortable”. He then told me to cover myself up because it was distracting, and generally he treated me like having my body out there was disgusting to him. I am honestly so upset, I truly thought the Devonshire arms would be a more accepting place but it turns out it is as judgemental as any other stuck up spot in london

Excellent pub with friendly staff and good selection of beers on tap. Shame they don’t serve food however (apart from crisps).

Beers were ice cold and served with very attentive and friendly service. This is a typically small London pub. There are a limited selection of draught beers available. You can just stand outside to soak in the sun as there is no beer garden! Toilets are very cramped but clean! Nice atmosphere.

Good selection of drinks, prices and service, clean place, friendly clientele, quite compact so there may only be standing room at the bar.

Traditional London Pub. I visited here for the first time in around 35 years because I was going to an event in Hyde Park. In the mid 80's I worked around the corner & this was a regular lunchtime or after work meeting place. It was like stepping back in time. Friendly & welcoming staff. A good selection of beers & other drinks. We didn't eat but menu looked reasonable with choices that would suit most people. London prices (which are to be expected based on location just behind Selfridges & short walk to Marble Arch) £7.45 for a pint of IPA

Found this little gem of a pub after two hours of enjoyable but exhausting wedding dress shopping. We were greeted warmly and advised in the cost benefit of a bottle rather than three glasses (we didn't take much convincing!!) Prosecco was a good one , and icy cold . We sat outside in the sun and our lovely bar tender showed off his great photographic skills. What a lovely place ❤️

I love my rock and metal bars so this pub was great, I just didn't have a the best experience with the bar staff. A lady serving came across rather rude and snappy when she couldn't get what I was asking for... I was merely ordering a simple drink in my british accent over the music. There was no need for it!!

Such a good pub, has a pub dog. Great for leaving drinks as free to book a space

Fabulous British pub just off of Oxford Street with a small amount of outside seating on a quiet street, so very pleasant in good weather. Good selection of beers and a very attentive landlord who makes the experience a delight. No food at the moment, but a lovely place for a post work or pre dinner drink. 10/10

We travelled quite far to try this pub and were turned away at the door by a bouncer on power trip suggesting regulars only. I'm absolutely disgusted by this outrageous act of discrimination...the pub wasn't even busy. Appalling and unacceptable.

Wow!! Things have changed in 5 years. 12.60 for 2 pints. The way of the world I suppose. Great selection of beers though.
