This was so disappointing! I had a voucher from Buyagift and changed it to the Afternoon tea for 2 experience with Revolution, thinking it would be a good way to end November, but I was wrong! I've never felt so low in a bar/restaurant. The service was almost non-existent. We were approached 30 minutes after we were seated to ask about the afternoon tea and if we want any drinks. Then we had to wait a further hour before the food came! The food was alright, very sub-par, but arrived luke warm. We were probably forgotten about again, with our food waiting half an hour to get picked up. We never even got the water we asked for. People around us were getting drink after drink whilst we were waiting to order one cocktail each. A group were even seated after us and got their food and drinks before we were even approached. My sister called one of the waiters as they walked past and they just ignored her. I'm not an angry person, but that made me angry. I was ready to leave, but she wanted to give them another chance. We've never felt so undervalued. Every customer is meant to feel important/special, especially when they're spending money, but we certainly didn't. We still had to pay for the cocktails and got no kind of good gesture to make us want to return or apologise. No one responded to my email either. It was a horrible experience and I don't recommend it.

Really odd venue, I went along to meet friends without really knowing what to expect, I should have checked. The food is all low quality low effort reheat rather than cook. We were inadvertently booked in for bottomless brunch to which I had no interest, there were more rules imposed on us seemingly just to make them more profit. Drinks from a list, brought to the table really slowly to ensure you don't order too many. Place was half empty but staff had little interest in serving us regularly, they ended up doing themselves out of money as two of us wanted drinks not included in brunch but couldn't order them. They then announced our timeslot was over n we needed to leave, when the place was half empty and we still had drinks on order... Truly bizarre. Really expensive way of having cheap food and not many drinks. If you want to go n drink jugs of watered down cocktails or bad beer, go for it. Otherwise, I'd avoid.

A little late on posting our review but we visited here on 24th June for Bottomless Brunch as we were in the area to see a concert. We had the best time with delicious burgers and amazing cocktails. The whole time we were there we were look after by Flo, he made sure we had quick and friendly service throughout. We had such an amazing afternoon, thank you Flo! We will definitely return when we are back in the area!

cute place for a non traditional afternoon tea! we got the vegan option (~$30 for two) and it included light savory snacks as well as desserts and tea)! very cute and pretty yummy food, would def do again but would include a cocktail bc they looked interesting and creative!

Nice bar, cocktails were however on the pricey side. The venue itself was great though, especially the old Bank vault downstairs

Beautiful building with multiple bars and lounges. There is plenty of seating in a well decorated building. It retains a lot of charicter keeping original features like the large walk in Chubb safe filled with old safety deposit boxes.

I was given a voucher to this place, and I booked an afternoon tea for 2. The online booking process wasn't that simple due to certain restrictions, but I managed. We got there earlier than I reservation time, but the waiter was kind enough to direct us to the table . The place looked expensive with a very classic and elegant interior looking to it. It was very quiet inside for a Saturday 13:00 although there were other guests but not a crowded lousy place. The waiter explained what was included in the prepaid voucher booking and what was not included ( beware of what included in your online prepaid order because they are different type of afternoon tea). As we found out, our drink wasn't included, so we had to choose from the list given and they were pretty expensive so we ordered 2 non alcohol cocktail which were very nice. The deal came out almost as what we saw advertised online except for the drink that we thought was included. The food was Ok, but we wish that the dessert part would be served a bit later. Everything is brought to the table at once, and although it looked great but the hot food is almost cold by the time you start to eat it while the ice cream is melted already. Anyway, it was a nice and quiet place to have an afternoon tea.

Cocktail Masterclass was 10/10. We had so much fun! We made loads of drinks and played games. The loaded nachos were really good too. The decor is gorgeous. Devlin was awesome, he's a great teacher & photography director lol. Would definitely recommend!

The bar has a sick atmosphere on Thursdays! Old school Rn&B and afrobeat music plus happy hours so you can’t go wrong! The staff are wonderful too!! Devlin and Rayjae served me and they were so friendly!!! P.S Get the zombie cocktail

Amazing venue. The bank vault bar downstairs is unreal.

Where to begin.... First, the venue is not fit for dance/party events. There is hardly a dance floor which means the crowd fills the supposed to be through way. That is a safety hazard! Second, 2.5 hours into the event, the bar ran out of drinks, plus there weren't enough staff on the bar anyway so it was a 40 minute wait to get served. Finally, who wants to go to an evening party and dance under bright lights? And to a DJ who keeps chopping and changing tracks after 10 secs? It was almost as if the venue didn't have licences to play music 😒. I will be staying clear!

Great bar in a great location. Lively venue with music and dance floor. The vault room is just amazing. Very well suited for informal corporate events. Unmissable when there is the happy hour, you can get cocktails and nibbles for few pounds and enjoy the evening without breaking the bank. Be aware that if you go at busy times you may wait some time to get in.

Opening hours are the usual work of fiction that seems to be a theme for London venues. Closed at 2345 on a Friday despite there being a board left outside. Disappointing.

Wow, it's a really nice place. It was a Bank in the past, and we were impressed about the authenticity of the place . The staff are very friendly, kind and open to customers. We ordered some cocktails, and all of them were amazing. They gave us two free cocktails as well. We'll go there again , like that place so much..

We booked this place through a company for my best friend, Hen Do. The experience was horrible. We got to sit at our table & when one of the group members arrived, they changed our location to another table. Then we sat there for 40 minutes ( and we had been asking them when the food was coming for ages) waiting for our food that got delivered at the same time so starts & Main delivered at once & there was no one around to ask for cutlery & we had to get someone to ask for cutlery at the front. Terrible service overall. I do not recommend it. Also, their chicken salad was dry. The best item we ate was probably the calamari.

Been here to do Halloween facepainting for students party and loved this bar ! Highly recommend for staff event and other occasions

First time coming to this branch Service was very slow at first so we felt disappointed (Bottomless brunch 20 mins with no drink or food) until Claudia came over livened up the vibe and ensured we'd get a full 2 hours which we did. 8 drinks each We tried to speak to other members of staff during the brunch but they all seemed to shrug us off and weren't interested so we were drawn back to Claudia 10/10 ◡̈

Fantastic service by the staff. Amazing drinks and lovely food. The wings are top notch, as recommended by Sibel: Naomi was also so courteous and great with our drinks orders. Will be back again!

Great space, good food on offer, cocktails all great but a shortage of draught beers. Accessibility issues as the lift is frequently out of order and there is no accessible toilets on the ground floor. It's a brilliant place, I love the revolutionary theme but until the accessibility issues are addressed my review will remain 3 stars...these days accessibility should be the norm, those who are differently abled should have full.and free access to everywhere.

Got told on entry at 11pm it was open till 1am. We had one drink, and were having a great time. At 11:50 I went up to the bar and stood there for 15 minutes (only one other couple being served). Two bar staff were staring from a distance at me. When the barman eventually finished serving the couple he told me the bar was closed and that it was not his problem. I worked in a bar for many years and I would not have even dreamt of doing this to anyone. Poor service.

Went on 22nd May for my hen party. Food was good but quite slow service as only one waitress working. She was lovely though and wasn't her fault. Had the cocktail making after meal in the basement with Liz, which was fun. However, we were all rather surprised when she told us upstairs closed at 9 so we had to leave straight after cocktail making. Advertised as being open until 1am so very odd. Would advise if you looking at going to Revolution in Leadenhall you check opening times beforehand.

Wonderful meal, steaks were just gorgeous and done to perfection! Lovely wine collection and the staff was super hospitable...great evening at a business meal! Recommended if one plans entertain clients or friends in style and tatse!

Nice but very very expensive! We booked a cocktail making class - frustrating they wouldn't let us get credit for someone who had covid - but the class was fun. Very expensive drinks!!! £6.40 for a pint of beer!

I wish I knew about this place earlier! The interior is amazing and grand, set in a former bank building. They’ve got good promotions and happy hours. It’s an ideal place for a party or gathering. The staff that served us was friendly, accommodating and just so lovely. Food was great too, although it’s not the most gourmet, it’s tasty enough, fries with the burger was pretty good. Cocktails are their strong suit though! Nice and strong. Would love to come back again some time!

The place it's self is lovely and so are the bar staff but the bouncers are absolutely awful, they need to take lessons in customer service.

I visited last week for a business drink event. ... it was a lively place.. we all like it very much.... a variety of drink... and plenty of space where n number of groups can stand together... can dance together on music with nice sound ... this is my 3rd visit to Revolution.... decent crowd mostly corporate peoples....

We had a terrible experience and won't ever come back. We went for dinner and ordered food for two people. We waited for over an hour even though the place wasn't full at all. One meal arrived cold and partially wrong, the other one never arrived. Apart from making one order wrong and forgetting the other, the worst part was the rude and impolite waiter who, instead of apologising and sorting the mistake, tried to make up some sort of excuses. We left on an empty stomach with a partial refund, but they really ruined our evening.

Went here on Saturday, asked the person who seated us for a booth due to the loud music from the speakers were we were sat , she said no and shouted at us saying the booths were booked however, no one sat there for the whole evening. Not sure why this is advertised as a restaurant as the food was mediocre, the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk or anything. This place is more of a club/bar so I do not recommend coming here for a meal. Food was not worth what we paid for and did not have several items on the menu. Their saving grace was that their waiter was lovely and the cocktails were nice though overpriced.

Made to feel very unwelcome at the door as we hadn't booked in advance. Although the website states shuts at 1am it was closing at 9pm, because we hadn't booked in advance we were told we couldn't order food it was 6.30pm and quiet. Told you could order at the bar but bar staff then asked " why aren't you using the app" . Vodka shots and venue were nice but we won't be returning.

Had a virgin experience today 27/01/23 afternoon tea with cocktails. Welcome with a friendly face straight away showed to our seat in a great venue with a nice bit of music not over powered that we could not chat and the staff where really friendly. The food was really good we had a classic afternoon tea a real treat that I would highly recommend. I will certainly tell others and return. Thankyou for a lovely day

Burger was a cross between Gandhi’s flip flop and leather boot. Fries were stale, and under warm at best. Starving and only ate a moth full for a 40 min wait and it was dead. Espresso martini average however good pint.
