The pub itself is pretty big and the style of it is very nice. They also do decent food too. The halloumi fries , calamari and brisket beef croquettes were all nice and the staff were friendly .

A whopping (not Wapping) 5 for this extraordinary place. The Falcon oozes character, enjoys cast iron pillars and wood and etched room dividers. The staff are wonderful and, service polite and rapid ( if I want to use an Oxford comma I shall!). A busy pub with a great happy atmosphere.

It is a lovely, lovely pub. But I probably experienced the rudest member of staff I’ve ever encountered in my life when having a drink here. She is an Eastern European blond lady who behaves like it is an annoyance just to order a drink and rudely told a friend to get out of the way, and when he did and apologised she angrily said ‘don’t touch me’ even when he didn’t.

Quite a nice pub with a really good atmosphere. Has a very warm and homely feel to it. Would definitely recommend the burgers here. The prices are reasonable for Clapham and it's conviniently located close to the station.

The vibe is great and the outdoor seating arrangement is nice. It's a good mix of old-fashioned and modern style. Food and drinks were good and I like that you can order from your table via the qr code. Staff were polite and friendly. Only negative is a lot of items are unavailable on the menu.

The Falcon is a gorgeous pub, very well decorated with a nice atmosphere. Staff is really friendly and quick, great selection of beers, alcohol and food. Me and my partner had few pints and burgers for dinner, delicious! We will be back!

Decent pub. Good range of drinks. Visited today for a drink with a friend. There’s a set of tables outside and despite the traffic noise was very pleasant.

Great, historic pub. Very good selection of beer (not just the usual suspects). Plenty of bar staff so prompt service. Was pretty quiet for a Friday so hope it's doing OK post-Covid ?

I should follow this up properly and start by saying while in the area recently I decided to revisit some old Haunts, one of these being this lovely old pub...My friends and myself would always stop off here for one or two beers back in the mid 1980s before travelling on to a Soul do we use to attend called Function at the Junction. I had actually put my car in for a service at VW and decided to wander down and enjoy a pint while the car was being looked at, and this lovely old Pub caught my eye....chasing ghosts some might say..the staff were very friendly and the bite I had to eat was lovely, it's great to see places like this still open

This pub is an Icon that has sat on this corner for many years. Rocking guitar bar staff and Austin (not from Texas, lol) told me my first Corona Beer "onTap" was well worth the price. Not bad but Mexican beer was born in a bottle/can. Thanks to the times there are tables outside (heatwave) and tables "round the side" good for gazing at an area that has changed a lot. I remarked to a local that Arding and Hobbs was not bad. He remarked, "the clock never worked". True. Now the clock works, but the store doesn't. Pure Irony. Funny - - the film "Up The Junction" was on and will help you see the changes; even the Battersea Power Station was running. In the movie a local estate agent renting to a posh girl from Chelsea asks: Do you think Battersea will ever regenerate and become upscale? If only he could see the gentrification of Northcott Road.

Always busy, cider tastes not fresh however. Location is good near Trainstation however.

The Falcon has its USP - given its proximity to Clapham Junction it’s the ideal pub in which to meet arriving friends and/or to have a nightcap before embarking on your journey. Give yourself 7 minutes from bar to platform. The pub itself is generic enough but the seating area in the converted old bar out the back offers some novelty. As you might expect punters are a mixed bag, from geezers to couples, and it’s normally quite busy. Overall: something for everyone and convenient with it.

Quite a big pub with plenty of seating indoors and some tables outside. Good selection of draft beer and spirits. The positives are the really cool indoor space that it’s kept in its original state with plenty of cool features. It feels like being in a different time. Negatives were the rude security guy at the door treating us as if we had been rude to him in any way. Some of the bar staff was quite dry and really didn’t make any efforts in being polite or acknowledge you. Exception made for a young blonde lady who instead was smiley and positive, shining among the rest of the team behind the bar. Negative was the lack of atmosphere and the dodgy scenes spotted around the back seats. Lots of potential, downgraded by rudeness and lack of attentions.

Nice pub, big screen TVs up showing multiple different games. Good decor. Ordered one of the sharing platters. It came with Halloumi fries, chicken bites(real pieces of thigh) chorizo, padron peppers and pulled beef croquettes. Was ok, the chicken and padron peppers were stand outs. Not sure about battered Halloumi cheese. But was a good size and definitely enough for two to share.

Great find next to Clapham Junction station. Went into this pub while looking at properties in the area. Glad we did. Good atmosphere, clean, wide range of beers and friendly efficient service. Ordered a couple of burgers which were cooked perfectly and tasted great and then had some beers to wash them down with. Great after work pub or if you live locally, lucky you. Recommended.

OK, here we go. Went in to see friends and watch a football game. Friends didn't arrive on the time frame arranged! Looked for a seat just to watch the game. Sat in the inside area where more seats were available. End sitting on the bar stool on the left side of the bar. That bar section was not maned for some reason. So I had to seat at the bar, but had to go to the front to order. No worries all good. Left my jacket and went to order. Since was a small que, I decided to order 2 pints just to avoid getting up and going to order. Mind, that the game was coming to a close... Plus didn't want to loose my seat! Ordered 2 pints of Ale, got 2 pints of lager. Found out after I had gone back to my seat and sat and after 3min on the phone with friends for directions etc.... Paid 13.80 don't know if that is the price for lager or ale...maybe I'm a bit picky but that how my afternoon went by!!! Didn't want to go back and change the order.. I saw that the lady behind the bar was busy... So OK lager it is... Maybe I pressed one star out of frustration.. I'm sorry!! Will give another go to this pub not on game days to see how everything pans out!!! Thank you..

Good pub close to Clapham Junction station. Food was typical pub food but good. Went there early on a Saturday evening and there was space, although it can be pretty busy before and after football and rugby games during the season.

I had a fantastic experience at Falcon! The pub offers an impressive variety of beers and delicious food that left me completely satisfied. The welcoming interior and vibrant atmosphere create a perfect setting. The attentive customer service added to the overall enjoyment, making it a must-visit spot. Cheers!

Overall, it's a bit scabby. Needs a good clean and some staff who care. Update to answer the question. The bar was dirty. Empty plates were on the tables. Glasses were not collected. No engagement from staff, eye contact and a cheery "how are you?" goes a long way. Thanks for asking.

Came tonight to meet with a friend, bar waitress with a face like a slapped arse and glasses couldn’t of been more rude. Had a frown the entire time I was dealing with her, even my friend remarked how salty she was with me! Ordered the burger and pint deal (advertised as £17 on a sign outside) was nice but I got charged £18 - at this point I didn’t want to deal with her behaviour anymore so I just paid and said nothing. Overall that weapon ruined the experience of a nice pub, doesn’t take too much to crack a smile. I was nothing but nice but she seemed to have a problem with me when I didn’t know my table number.

Busy on a Saturday but we were able to get a stool at the bar to watch the game and have some beers and food. Staff were friendly and explained rules for the voucher I had. Good selection of drinks, good food and good service!

Good Nicholson's pub near Clapham Junction Station. Five cask beers on handpump when I last visited. A few tables and standing area outside. The Grade II listed building which dates from 1887 contains a nationally important historic pub interior noteworthy for its island servery, screens, glasswork and one of the longest bars in the country.

Very popular pub - great range of beers, and large room at the back with TVs for watching sport. Tends to be quite noisy simply because it is so popular. Also fabulous location - easy to find!

I've come to this pub several times in the past, it has a good selection of beers on Tab and the food is good. Last night I joined some friends for the Sunday pub quiz and it was a very entertaining and pleasant experience. I had great fun. A very good pub

A very friendly pub, bar staff also friendly. Good range of real ales, largers and spirits at competitive prices. A good range of food served, from snacks to a full meal. Well worth a visit

Great pub and atmosphere. Beer choice good but not as extensive as previously. One of my beers was flat and the other fine but not as bright as it could be.

What a lucky me i am to enjoy pub nights to the British holidays. We obviously has a good time and drinks time. But I did not enjoy a fosters or Carlsberg. I enjoyed a lovely guest ale instead.
