Very relaxing area. Staff are friendly even the dog!😍 I started loving the fish & chips this way😂 Oh Guinness!👍🏻 Oh Aperol Spritz! Cocktail a bit pricey but you can live without it though🤣

Enjoyed seafood papadelle, risotto and fish cake with friends. Good atmosphere to mark the end of a fantastic Coronation Day on the Mall. Fab location, food and service. Thankyou.

If you're looking for a Sunday dinner in Putney, I cannot recommend this place enough. A large selection of dishes and a good choice of wines and beers available..

Lovely attentive service from all the team. Very detailed around allergy requirements. The team made us feel at ease, it was a very special occasion for me and my family and it turned out to be a perfect choice as we felt everything was taken care of and the food was delicious. Thank you to all the team and apologies for not asking the name of the very kind person that led the service for us. I regret not asking the name (blond woman with a lovely smile) but I could tell that everyone was working quite well together and making sure our experience was perfect.

Good Covid safe rules. Masks to be worn when not seated and tables spread out to keep good separation. All ordering is done via the Young's app. Only downside was that my friend and I ordered on our own phones. Even though we hit order at the same time, my food arrived 10 mins after my friends. So I would say to just order on one phone and sort out the money later. The food was delicious. Staff were friendly and professional.

I have just been at their first Christmas Party of the Year. Wow what an absolutely stunning venue. Lizzie was fantastic, the bar staff amazing. Every member of staff were so pleasant and professional. The food was superb, a huge buffet. Dont hesitate to go there. Perfect venue for an event or party.

We held our company summer social at The Boathouse. I reserved the top floor with the terrace and ordered the food platters. We were taken care of by the lovely Gary and Erica. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, always making sure we had everything we needed and were happy. Thanks guys you made our evening perfect ! X

Would highly recommend. What a find! Lovely venue, right on the river, amazing food & great service. I met with a work colleague on a sunny day and was greeted by 2 great bar staff. The food was excellent (I would recommend the sausage roll & plant burger to every one (unusual combination, I know!)) and the service and pricing were great - especially given the location

We stopped by for a Sunday roast and it was delicious!! My adult daughter is Autistic and we requested a specific table which was accommodated without any fuss at all! The staff were professional, polite, attentive and so friendly and the atmosphere was brilliant! The upstairs terrace has a gorgeous view of the river! We often stop by for drinks and are never disappointed!

Went for a Sunday roast. Got the beef roast which was a large plate but mostly filled with vegetables than the meat itself. Great view and nice staff.

Went here as a large group all with very small children. They were accommodating. As always with a Young's pub you know what to expect and it's always decent. This is one of my locals and I've been several times and will keep coming back.

Over price food that arrived to the table cold or luke warm. A few of us has to send our food back to be warmed up. Burgers and fish pie seemed ok but the roasts were cold and so was the cauliflower cheese.

Lovely pub, with good food. We had a Sunday Roast and Bangers and Mash, the food was quite tasty overall. Starters: delicious sourdough bread with butter and anchovies. The doc is great and the fire place makes it very cosy and welcoming. There is an outdoor sitting area. The pub has loads of natural light and offer views to the river Thames throughout. Great place overall.

It was pleasant evening in a very nice restaurant in a beautiful location with great service and wonderful staff. The let down was the food. Me and my 8 friends were disappointed with the sub par food. My burger was chewy with a soggy bun and flavourless, the steak was chewy, the brownie was dry and sub par, the sticky toffee pudding was burnt and rubbery. I think I would go back for a drink but I don't think I would go back to eat. It was a let down for our Christmas do.

A 10 minute walk from one of Putney's tube stations is worthwhile to find this hidden gem overlooking the Thames river. The interior whilst large is cosy with nice wooden finishes and some lovely seating areas. Multi- levels so you can get a good view of the river and enjoy a good pint! N.b. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food! Prices are standard london prices 6-7 pounds/pint.

Had the fish and chips. Hard to go wrong with a classic. Very generous peice of fish and plenty of chips. We had a gluten sensitive person with us and they had a gluten free rye bread available. I hear the gluten free rye bread burger is great for those with gluten allergies. The service was spot on. Several beers were out but the staff were apologetic and provided several recommendations as worthy replacements.

Had a great time food was delicious and staff were brilliant.. just one small disappointment - no Yorkshire Pudding served with the roast beef (call me old fashioned)...

Love this pub, food is amazing, reasonably priced and the service is spot on. We go most weeks as we really feel it’s the best roast in London. The sausage roll is also AMAZING!

One of the best pubs in Putney. Perhaps the best in terms of view combined with atmosphere.

Friendly staff, good food and drink, amazing views. Tables are sanitised before you're taken to your table, orders and payments are done via an app, your drinks and meals are brought to your table. Very safe and sanitary.

We came here for Christmas dinner, a set menu. Bit disappointed with the mains and desserts, crumble was soft wet, not nice the lemon dessert was clearly made night before as it had a layer of skin over it and the biscuit on it was wet soggy because of it being made night before and left in the fridge, I'm guessing?. The staff and venue otherwise was lovely, staff were attentive. Location and setting was nice, again, nice warm lovely staff.

Yesterday I took my parents. We all had different food which we decided was all good BUT the best thing was the service from the three waiters. Excellent. What a difference professional waitering makes to a meal. So many waiters and waitresses nowadays don’t give a s**t and don’t care if you come back or not so it was nice to get good waiters. Keep it up

It’s a lovely venue and we had a nice view of the river. Staff were also friendly. Unfortunately the food wasn’t great, largely because it was cold. We were a big group and I know that can be tricky but looking at other reviews now, it seems to not be an unusual problem, even for a smaller amount of diners and it’s such a fundamental thing to get right. It’s a shame because a lot of the food looked great. The burger & chips looked especially good (also cold). I had the roast and it was disappointing to have what appeared to be boiled, hard potatoes rather than crisp and fluffy inside roasties. There were a few comments about those. The Yorkshire pudding was quite thick & soggy - also undercooked. Otherwise mediocre but if it was hot, it probably wouldn’t have seemed so bad.

Lovely spot but had a horrible dining experience. Really poor cuts of meat. Rump steak was so chewy and full of gristle I actually spat it out. Kids wouldn’t eat their burgers either - which never happens - I tasted the burger and it was awful. So bad, we told the server when she asked how the meal was; she looked embarrassed and… that was it. She took away the plates and no more was said. Will definitely not eat here again.

Beautiful location facing the river, moderate selection of beers, food ok, staff kind and professional, expensive as expected in London - lunch for the three of us was £69 for an entree and a half pint each. Nice outside location, they also have an upstairs terrace however available only at dinner.

Great location, great food, great atmosphere. Above all this is a pub that comps you a half when they you stupidly spill your pint, a rare and noble gesture in our day. 10/10 I'll travel 20 miles to meet friends at the Boathouse again

Had booked for a meal with friends before a night out. Half of the food was sent back. Scampi wasn’t cooked through and the potato side dish was completely inedible. It was expensive for really poor quality food and substandard service. Only saving grace is a view over the river. Wouldn’t recommend and will not return

Prices are quite a bit higher than they should be for the quality of food, but overall the pub is in a good location and the staff are friendly. I wouldn't return in a hurry, but if you're looking for somewhere in the area it's an OK option.

A group of 6 of us were drinking there for many hours on a Monday afternoon. Close to £200 spent if not more. One guy loved the chicken Sandwich and chips but the rest of us mostly just drank. I have given this place a 4 star solely beacuse i ordered a non alcoholic beverage and was charged £6.60 which is outrageous. It was a pint of lemonade, lime juice cordial and a splash of angostura bitters. Its a common drink in Australia and is normally around the £2-£3 mark at a huge push. I mentioned to the bar tender that this was very expensive and he just shrugged. On the whole though he was very attentive and provided good service to myself and the group. Other than the overcharging it was a nice atmosphere with a good bar tender

Food was a bit pricey, but OK. Luckily it was a company funded. Unfortunately, looks like not very experienced at making an Irish coffee.

An okay pub with a cute little terrace overlooking the river. The food quality though in no way justifies the somewhat steep prices and the beer selection is a bit lacking. Would not necessarily recommend but if you are in the area looking for a drink I wouldn't advise against it either.

A relaxed pub set next to the river. Comfortable outdoor seating with heaters. Venue is also dog friendly as well with the kind staff even providing water bowls. Good food, and drinks in a clean and comfortable environment with a view.

I've eaten here a few times and always enjoy what I ordered. The menu keeps changing, so no point in recommending anything. Price is reasonable for the area.
