This is my favourite pub in North London. The staff are great and so lovely to talk to. Can get a round of 2 pints for just over £10! I always order the bean burger (2 for 1 burgers on a Monday) and I love their onion rings.

Finally had chance to pop in for the Sunday lunch and regret not doing it sooner! Fab pub with a great vibe and lovely staff. The lunch was delicious, speedily served and massive... Make sure you're close to home, this one warrants a good nap after consumption

Great pub, lots of seating is outside, but mostly the quality of the food is superb. A little pricey but worth the extra for the raised level. Ive had a couple of wagu burgers and a roast here.. always delicious, but little gems like pulled ox cheek and chorizo shepherds pie and other small plates are the real winners imho. Highly recommended

Great Sunday roast menu and in the picture you can see a Nut Roast (vegan option available) and a vegan salad with ‘chick’n’. Both meals were great and friendly staff also.

On a return visit back down Holloway Road, I decided to call back in the Swimmer at the Grafton Arms to make sure this visit was as good as my last, and I was not disappointed. This time I ordered the hearty Sausage & Mash and presentation was what you'd expect. 3 tasty Cumberland Sausages on top of a creamy Mash with buttered carrots and green beens on the side. Full of flavour and filling. I know I'll be calling back again..

Wonderful staff, beautiful pub and large perfectly cooked food. I can't wait to go back with my Australian family when they arrive to take them to their first pub in England. I enjoy coming here for lunch when I can. Great outdoor area.

The Swimmers is easy one of the best pubs in London! 🙏🏼 The pub is tucked away from trouble – the beer and spirit selection carefully curated and great. The food is delicious too! :) They’ve got games and books inside and dogs are always very welcome! If you go there you’ll have a great time for sure! ❤️

Really nice friendly pub. The staff were helpful and enamoured with all the dogs that came in, including my friend's. Same with anyone visiting the pub like us; definitely a dog friendly place (they had dog treats ready and waiting!). We played a board game during food and drinks. The food was good, however my husband got sick after eating his spicy lamb burger (although my friend and I were fine after a mushroom burger and fish & chips). I would still go back as this place has such a relaxed vibe about it and all encounters were friendly.

We always make a beeline for The Swimmer when in North London. Food is always impeccable and huge servings, I'm ceoliac and they cater so well for gluten free- the options are brilliant. Huge selection of gins and the husband is always delighted with the Ales on offer. Landlord and landlady lovely and always make everyone feel at home. Can't recommend enough!

Solid atmosphere, open fire, jukebox and great choice of books and board games. Large outdoor space with shelter and heating. Function room but didn't get a visit. Decent value but a welcoming local pub for whose in the know.

Lovely pub in a calm street, with a pleasant terrace, juke box, board games and a great choice of beers (e.g. Brugse Zot on tap!)

A truly English pub with a lot of locals. Nicely priced menu and beers on tap. Layed back atmosphere with a free jukebox and monthly comedic acts. Service was prompt and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Nice people around, nice ambience, different and tasty food, and I loved the games/books/free juke box!

Not only is this pub top-notch, with delicious food and beers, but the staff are absolute gems! I left a chocolate advent calendar behind for over a week and those legends didn't touch a single piece. That's some serious self-control and customer service! 5 stars

My favourite pub in London (and my local). Great food, service and atmosphere. Drinks and food are well priced. Lovely fireplace for the winter and outside area for the summer.

Chicken Parmi was amazing can’t remember the last time I had one that good! Service and the beer garden was also great! Will be coming back for sure!

Great Sunday spent at The Swimmer. The food was FANTASTIC, the staff really friendly and the atmosphere lively. We had taken American visitors and they said it was the best roast beef and lamb dinners they had experienced on their long tour around the British Isles. I’ll definitely be back to this GEM of a place. 🤩👌

Usually drop in here for a pint or two before/after the game. Very decent selection of beer/ales. Last night I went for food and was not disappointed. Great food always tastes better when accompanied by great staff and atmosphere. Also, decent customers. The mackerel pate was perfect and the fish n chips really top notch. A dream of a place in Holloway.

My favourite local pub! It never disappoints, every time I visit. The food is always gorgeous, hot and the portions are MASSIVE. Great lagers on tap, and the gin selection is lovely. The prices are one of the affordable ones amid the rise in the cost of living. And the atmosphere is always lovey - favourite thing about this place? Leila + the team. She goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and as part of the swimmer family. Couldn’t recommend this place enough 🥰🥰🥰

Great friendly pub just a block off Holloway road. Helpful staff and delicious food. Go for the Litovel Premium, you won’t regret!

Had a Sunday Roast. Was really good. Been looking for a regular place to go for a Sunday roast, and I think I've found it. Staff were superb, the lady behind the bar even made the effort to squeeze the lime into my soda water. Little touches like that, make all the difference :-)

Great tasty Wagyu Burger I added bacon and cheese. The Burger was so meaty and the bacon really thick. Made all the better as I was with a friend and Monday us 2-4-1 on burgers!

This has always been a great little boozer just off the main strip of Holloway Road. There's a jukebox, but it doesn't get in the way of conversation and meeting people. The food is good. The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious. Whenever I am back in Holloway I aim to head back there.

We had a very nice evening watching France vs. England last saturday. We were a little bit late to get a table for four, but thanks to the "Boss" we were helped. Outrageous from her. Food is excellent (Fish & chips) and so much, but so tasteful.. love it. And Beavertown's Neckoil is it also worth to go there.

Great pub, good prices and a nice vibe. Went for their pub quiz on Tuesday which didn’t disappoint. Staff was moving around with a smile on their face and were super kind. You could tell a lot of the people in there were regulars. The food smelled amazing although I didn’t have any. Will be coming back

Went for a 2 for 1 burger last night. The burger bun was moudly. The staff took the burger away then came back and said that due to the 2 for 1 they couldn't offer a refund because this was the vegetarian burger which is the cheapest of the two. Meaning I still paid 9 quid for a burger with visible green mould. It wasn't the staff member who told us, it was whoever was in charge who did not come out and speak to us. It's a shame because this is otherwise a good pub.

One of the best pubs in the area and certainly one of our favourite. The highlights here are the great selection of beers, the extremely kind staff and the environment, but the cuisine in this pub outstands everything. The fact that you can actually see people cooking next to the bar makes the experience even better. They want to do a good job and they nail it. There's a nice burger offer on Mondays which I'll let you guys discover by yourselves. They have been hosting ales from the Five Points and Siren Craft Breweries which I personally love, but I'm sure everyone can find the right pint to pair with any dish on the menu. Take a look of those nice t-shirts they sell!

Really excellent local pub. Reasonably priced pints and hear good things about the food (although yet to try it myself). Shame my mate Danny couldn't handle it.
