Food and drinks are overpriced. Food is very low quality and not worth the price tag. The failure of a chicken burger below is £16!!! Which is what a quality high end chicken burger would cost- which it most definitely is not. Would not recommend this place for anything based on its pricing. If I could give it a 0 I would. The staff is lovely though.

Great spot for a beer Outdoor area out the back of the pub is the best for big groups. Indoors is pretty snug. Beers not cheapest in the area but good selection.

what a great pub! I had my birthday celebration here and they went above and beyond to make sure my table was inside rather than outside since the weather was freezing cold. Staff is very nice, great atmosphere and great selection of drinks... what can you ask for more? definitely recommend this place :)

I have come to the woolpack 4 times now for food and it has been a declining experience every single time. Whilst I cannot stress enough how nice the chicken burger and chips are, I feel absolutely disgusted at the portion sizes. Please take a look at the burger and chips I was served on Wednesday. If this was a £5 meal deal, then the size would be justified. However, this burger and chips portion costs just shy of £20!!!! Daylight robbery - will not be returning again. Sad to see this decline of what was once a great food spot.

Decent pub on Bermondsey Street not far from London Bridge Station. Two cask beers on handpump when I last visited. Very expensive beer - £6.30 for a pint of Bermondsey Best. Lots of outdoor seating most of it covered.

Second time visiting and it remains a great spot for after-work / leaving drinks with colleagues if you’re around the London / Tower Bridge area. The food offering is pretty standard for a pub: the first time I ordered a huge burger meal & the second; just rounds of cheesy chips and complementary dippers. The service can be a little slow, especially during rush hour when it gets packed and any Covid regulations about maintaining a safe distance go out of the window as customers vie for the bartenders’ attention to be served.

Really nice pub , great look to the place , go through the pub and out the back to a brilliant beer garden which is full of character as well as been undercover In areas. Drink wise there is much to choose from, I'm into craft beer and they have plenty of choice when it comes to these beers some are even from local London brewery's, have been here a few times always impressed. 👍

This is a fun place to hangout. Variety of patrons from young to old. Many dogs where around and all quietly taking in the activity. Burger was amazing and Chicken had a great flavor. Order, pay at the bar, just know your table #.

Been coming here for sometime, usually crowded but good pub for drinks in the area. However had an unpleasant experience last night whilst trying to order at the bar, when one of the bartenders, not sure why, were being really unhelpful/rude unnecessarily. Luckily the manager stepped in and sorted it out quickly. “Vibe check” We just avoided the grumpy bartender the rest of the night for the sake of my partner’s birthday. Simple courtesy shouldn’t be much to ask for. Staff/service can be hit and miss, but generally the pub has a good atmosphere.

Huge outdoor area that allows for big effed work groups. We had a get together on the last working day of the year and it allowed over 25 of us to meet up from our group alone. Bartenders were quick to serve and had great attitudes despite it being quite hectic. Respect.

Came to watch the RWC and had a great time. We were upstairs and Sia was incredible running drinks up and down the stairs so quickly for us!

I met with friends for a mid afternoon catch up as we have known one another for many years but haven't been able to get together since early 2023. It's a TARDIS like pub that looks quite small from the outside but is massive inside and out the back and upstairs too. The young staff looked after us very well and the food, while traditional, was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

Great location, cool staff - spacious backyard to enjoy a dry evening. The pints and wine is definitely pricey. Excellent tho if you are going as a large group.

Great atmosphere, good beers, just a bit pricey! Or maybe it’s just the cost of living crisis. Either way if you’re in the London Bridge area it’s definitely worth the walk so you end up in a nice pub outside the tourist traps. The outdoor space is well heated even in the coldest days, appreciate it

Part of me doesn't want to give a glowing review as that means more people will come to this brilliant place but they deserve all the praise! Such a welcome, good service and really tasty food! This is a must.

Fantastic fish and chips meal. Sausage and mask ok but not outstanding. Good range of beers and wine. Gets busy after 4.30pm. Prices £££

Love this pub! Quick service even if it looks busy, great seating indoor and outdoor, TVs for the football and a good selection of drinks.

Probably the nicest function room I've seen in a while. Food was amazing and service was top notch. Shout out to Wilfred the dog who didn't fart once throughout the afternoon 🐶🐶🐶

What a great pub! We went there on sunny Saturday, the vibe, the service, the food, everything was just great. We had some very delicious burgers and some pints from a local brewery recommended by David and all I can say is that they were great. The huge beer garden full of doggies it's certainly a plus! Make this a must visit if you are around.

This place is just great. That is all you expect when you come to London : A real pub with plenty off Real people enjoying themselves. Great atmosphere, great food (the fish and chips is very good, the crumble is delicious). Barmaid and barmen are nice and effective. We will definitely come again to the Woolpack (as well as the whole Bermondsey street) when we come back to London.

Really nice beer garden, in a great spot too. Had a good selection of beers on tap and the bar staff were very friendly. Great spot for some refreshments!

After completing a walk around South London called in for well deserved refreshments. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good choice of real ales and wines at reasonable prices. Had amazing sausage rolls which were served hot and dressed with a small salad. Lovely outdoor space.

Small pub with a good sized garden nestled on the end of Burmonsey Street. Two plant based options on the menu, a "beef" burger and "chicken" burger both of which can be made vegan with vegan cheese options. Meals were piping hot and chips were the best we'd had. Worth a visit as a vegan traveler.

A regular local pub of mine for years. Exceptional garden, which is also dog friendly! 100% recommend.

Word to the wise - don’t get the hot and spicy chicken wings. There was nothing hot or spicy about them. They were really oily, hairy and lacked seasoning in a huge way. The ambience is nice and modern. The two bar staff who attended to me, Tyrone and Callum were helpful and friendly. It’ll definitely be drinks only for me next time I go there.

Very nice pub with lovely beer garden. Quite a few local IPA's on tap to choose from as well as lagers. Don't worry if you're undecided, the crew in Woolpack is very helpful and will recommend something that will be delicious and fresh.

So my friends and I were in the Woolpack from after lunchtime 2.30pm until late 10pm, we thought we’d found a lovely cosy pub. Unfortunately the women’s toilets had a pool of water on the floor from the start There was no loo roll in the women’s loos, there was no hand sanitiser and the seats that didn’t fit the loos. They were disgusting from the start and went downhill with women having to ask if anyone waiting outside the cubicles for tissues. Our tables which were right opposite the bar weren’t cleaned during the entire duration of our stay, we had to do this ourselves. Glasses were chipped, they frequently had massive cracks in them, also some glasses had dirty lipstick marks on them at least half a dozen times. We were taking our own glasses to the bar where they just piled up until at least 3 times they fell off and smashed on the bar floor. All in all a dirty, grubby pub with zero hygiene and cleanliness. AVOID.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago when my mum visited. We ate in the dining room upstairs which is rather grand and unexpected. Mum tucked into a sirloin roast, my partner had the fish pie and I had the vegetarian option. The food was a good standard, the surroundings also good. This is a dog friendly pub, just so you know before you go. We're not big drinkers so I have no idea about prices of drinks. There is a big garden out the back. It seemed to get busy so best to book.

Went in for Sunday lunch. Being vegetarian I find it hard to find really good veggie roasts but The Woolpack did not disappoint! Really tasty spinach pie along with all the roast trimmings.. The cauliflower cheese (a side) was one of the best I've had. My husband had the pork belly and really enjoyed it too..Only slight downside was the gravy was quite thin (on both plates) - I did mention this to one of the bar staff. Good drink selection and friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

A lovely Winsome pub off the main street. After passing through here several times on my way to work and always noticing how bustling and atmospheric it seems to be I popped in. There's a nice vibe in here, people seem content chatting and laughing away and the well-lit pub extends over a back garden too offering plenty of space. Wait staff are friendly and welcoming, they seem to genuinely enjoy working here. Will certainly visit again.

Wonderful evening! We booked a table, and despite running a little late the bar staff were warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was really bubbly and friendly, the burgers very tasty (including the vegan option). There's also a very nice large beer garden.would highly recommend!

If there was one part of London I would want to transport home it would be The Woolpack! The food, the beer, the staff. Everything was great. It can get a bit busy at times, but when you go at the right time it provides a great place to gather with friends and wind down.

Great pub. Huge beer garden at the back. The sausage rolls looked absolutely amazing. Unfortunately it was just all looks. They were bland and the pastry was not flaky

🚇 London Bridge 🍺 Beavertown Young Sun Pale Ale ❤️ A beautiful Bermondsey boozer with a great outside space. . The Woolpack is a just a five minute walk from London Bridge station and sits in a quiet back street in Bermondsey. I was invited along by the lovely people at @youngspubs to try out their new Pale Ale Young Sun by @beavertownbeer . I also met Nick Dwyer who designs the graphics for Beavertown, top bloke. Prior to trying the beer I had a good mooch around pub to see what this boozer is all about. The @woolpackbermondsey is a good size and has an L shaped bar area which leads to a mammoth covered beer garden at the back. The decor here is dark wood, tiled walls with some comfy leather upholstered benches. The atmosphere in here was very lively with a really good crowd in attendance, the beer garden was also packed and overall there was a great buzz about the place. The beer tasting took place In the upstairs bar and the decor was equally as sumptuous and classy. . I am not normally a pale ale drinker but the Beavertown Young Sun pale ale was top notch and I really enjoyed it. It had a summery taste to it and I can see me quaffing my way through a few of these throughout the summer months. As part of the evening I had the chance to try my hand at drawing and imitating some of Nicks Beavertown graphic work, looking at my results I’ll stick to my day job. I also got to spend some time with fellow pub enthusiasts Tom & Phoebe, they were great company and you can see their pub exploits on Insta @pintsofinterestlondon , why not give them a follow. . My visit to The Woolpack was a great experience. The hospitality was excellent and the beer and food were first class. Thanks again to the Guys at Youngs for a great time. . 📊 Information correct on visiting 06/04/22

Nice pub , friendly staff , shame about the sausage rolls piled up, uncovered on the bar. Put me off eating here due to the evident slack food hygiene.

My go-to pub on Bermonsey Street. Welcoming friendly staff, a spacious beer garden at the back, and cosy banquets at the front for groups and people watching! Highly recommended. Oh and a good selection of beers, cider and wine!

Nice place well presented. Would definitely come back again but this time ask more questions regarding price for a pint of beer. Had a very nice pint but it cost £6.95! Not being a regular pub goer this seems excessive even if you are near London Bridge.

Very old pub tastefully adapted to a modern (trendy?) environment. Good choice of beers and lagers. Very busy downstairs but there's a quieter area upstairs via a spiral staircase. The pub advertises that it has a garden but in reality it's entirely enclosed by a marquee. Don't come here expecting to get the sun on your back. Service was quick, despite the numbers, and staff all friendly. Toilets were probably the originals and I'm told that there's only one cubicle in the Ladies which led to queuing at times. Well worth a visit.

Thought it was outstanding! Loved the Bloody Maries, closest thing I've ever found to my recipe. Staff was great, they were always around making sure everyone was doing well. That's very refreshing to see in a pub.
