👍👍 This is one of the best Wetherspoons in North London. It's beautifully situated in the Broadway. Even the front entrance is inviting. Inside is amazing. Vast and spacious. It has upstairs seating and toilets. Added to which there is even more seating at the rear. The layout is wonderful. As with... A fine, well presented offering from JDW. All you would expect from the brand. This a pleasant airy venue with plenty of seating for all, a lovely mezzanine to look over the goings on. Service was brisk, polite and welcoming. Beer was fine with ample offerings of cask and keg, also all other sorts of libations to enjoy. A fine, well kept establishment. If only men could be taught not to rip the taps off the wall in the cloakrooms! Evolution has clearly overtaken some.

As with all Wetherspoons The table service and prices are great, especially if you use their brilliant app.

Walked here from Camden lock. Bit of a pilgrimage to visit the first ever Wetherspoons opened by Tim in 1979. It's an old converted milk depot then it became a bookies & now a 'Spoons. Lovely building. Very clean and roomy. Stella and Merlot were nice. Food wasn't great but it served a purpose. Great views across London from Muswell hill

Best place with a variety of different food that is prepared freshly and tastes great. Amazing prices and offers. Plus the interior and friendliness of the staff create a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. My favourite pub in London for sure. I can highly recommend the fish&chips, vegetable lasagna and lime cordial.

This has the promise of an awesome pub. The building itself is lovely. Bright and airy. This is about all it has going for it. The staff are uninterested when you do see them but are mostly non existent! We ordered a small garlic bread with cheese. It arrived but not a bit of cheese in sight. Cutlery we were given had dried bits of food on it. After we had eaten the garlic bread we saw there was dried ketchup still on the plate. Wine came with a glass that was filthy too. Very disappointing in what could be a fabulous pub.

Large pub set on a busy road Has large indoor seating area as well as a smaller but still a good sized area upstairs with views onto the bar. Also has seating areas at front and back. Toilets located upstairs. Large glass windows in roof which makes pub bright with natural light. Service is quick from friendly staff at very good prices

The best Westerspoons in my opinion 💯 Always a delightful time when visiting here, and on this occasion 'Curry Club Thursday's', the Chiken Tikka Masalla went down an absolute treat 👌🏼 Customer service was a bit slow maybe due to the fact of being understaffed, however the politeness of the staff provided was excellent. 5* Would recommend based on overall experience 👍🏼

Really nice Spoons. Deceptively big compared to the outside so loads of space and nice outside area.

Some friends came over from Winnipeg - Canada and wanted to try our fish & chips. I suggested the Mossy well. They were not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, great service and “the best fish & chips we ever had.” Pondy.

Do you know why it is so busy on a Monday night... Because the booze is discounted!!!! New-ish menu is not bad, for the price... The pizza is good. The nachos are great and the chocolate pudding is marvelous. Quick table service through the app so you can order as you go. Fab. Also you can get a half decent bottle of red for .... £7.50! Blimey. Don't forget the steak. Everything now has nutritional values on it too. So you pretend to be healthy

We come here regularly with family. It's our favourite pub & we always order the cod & chip. It's been good so far but the last 2 weeks the cod & chips are over fried & almost burnt. Cutlery was dirty. Didn't enjoy the food. But the beers always taste fantastic.

Lovely all organic shop/cafe in muswell hill. They serve pastries, panini, coffees and cakes as well as a great selection of organic products for all your needs. The staff is lovely and very knowledgeable. They have a great variety of brands to choose from as well as fresh veggies and bread.

The very best Spoons I have been to: great building, well spoken/friendly staff, food served very quickly and hot, special cups, not the drab white ones, AND people actually spoke to one another rather than shouted, so peaceful. The crowning glory is that my wife's surname is Moss...perfect Spoons.

Long time ago i used to enjoy Weatherspoons pubs. They were decent for what you we’re paying . Those days are long gone. The service and especially the food are terrible. I have been travelling half of Europe and this place is probably one of the worst when it comes to food. Literally we felt like animals being feed. The burger was just bread and meat , both cold and of very low quality. The chicken was undercooked with blood inside. The tables and the menus stick because of dirt food such as ketchup and mayo. It makes me wonder how some places can even keep operating under their license. I can’t believe weatherspoon ended up so bad. Literally disgusting 🤢.

"Not burnt" pizza wouldn't be replaced. I frequently get pizza at Ice Wharf Spoons and it's always perfect and 5 mins after delivery I get asked if everything is ok. But today at Mossy Well I laughed at the burnt offering I was given. My guest asked for it to be replaced and we were told a replacement would be exactly the same due to a new oven. Refund or different choice wasn't offered. If my guest was Italian there would likely have been a scene. Fortunately, she was not. But she said she would never accompany me to The Well again. Which is a shame because I like the location and the drinks were excellent. Plus the Spoons value of course. We ate the middle of the pizza which was tasty (if a bit too cheesy) and left the charcoal.

I love spoons, but I found this one quite lacklustre. It may have just been a busy night, but some friends didn't receive their orders for a whole hour after they received their food. I loved the halloumi as always, but their steak was very tough and difficult to cut through even with the very sharp knife that was provided. Still a good night, though.

Thought drinks were brought to your table when you order by App? Had to go and collect them at the bar, after 20 minutes wait. Rather stupidly ordered meal for three and two more drinks. Meals delivered to our table...were cold and not pleasant...drinks? Went to bar again.."take your drinks," 'politely' ordered a bar person. Now, we've eaten and had a drink a number of times in the Mossy Well, and it's been good. Tonight was not good. Maybe not enough staff?

Top tier spoons. Huge bar that's totally empty all day and at the busiest time on a Saturday night it's still pretty accessible due to the size. Plenty of outdoor spaces. It's just your standard spoons but in an incredible venue so it's a very nice experience - hence why I bring my laptop here and work all day when the home office gives me cabin fever!

I love Muswell hills Mossy well.. good food. Keen prices. Free hot drink fill ups with food... Good range of drinks. Always busy but quick service. I find their coffees strong ... Parking is tough at busy times even in the evening but worth it for good food at keen prices

As far as "Spoons" go, this is up there with one of the absolute best. Fresh beer and a clean, well kept premises. As a former bar manager, the bar service is slow, because the staff are good but not alert enough and the breakfast can sometimes be luke warm but it is a Spoons after all. Still, i highly recommend a visit for drinks

Overall we had a good experience here, the food was good, the staff were friendly and quick and the price was very reasonable. We have a wheelchair bound child, and found access to be mostly good, there is a lift outside to access the main entrance and there is a lift down to the lower floor, but it does have a table next to is so we had to inconvenience other customers by asking them to temporarily move to leave which was disappointing.... but the disabled loo is the biggest and best equipped I've ever seen or used...it has a full winch, slide bars and everything necessary for any need...but it wasn't as clean as I would have expected which was a shame as the rest of the place seemed spotless, but, unfortunately I had to thoroughly clean the sink before my daughter could use it...so as much as I wanted to give 5 stars I just couldn't, but, we will definitely be returning as customers again as over all it was a very good experience.

Security staff were very rude one of them verbally assaulted me and came up in my face swore at me - because we were in a group of people just having drinks and standing up and wanted us to move a few steps away from our tables- I paid for drinks to enjoy my time- I did not pay to be sworn at by some security guard who doesn’t have a basic level of respect for others or himself. Security guards here need to learn how talk in a civilised manner not swear and have temper tantrum’s when things don’t go their way.

Did not eat but enjoyed the ambience of this spacious building sympathetically constructed with a nod to Express Dairies whose tearooms and dairy occupied the site for many years .

Always love The Mossy. Unbeatable value in an otherwise expensive area of London. The cooks here are very good-we have always enjoyed good meals here. Great staff too.

A lovely local pub that I have visited twice over the last month. Reasonably priced beverages and food. It’s always busy but you can find a seat as the space is massive.

I LOVE this pub. The staff, building, service… I missed it so much. After almost 1 year I came back and nothing changed. You receive best service all the time. The app to order is the best solution for this situation although they had it since before pandemic. If you’re single, married, want to take someone, want to be alone, want to have good food, want to drink, … this is the place you would come over and over. Thank you Mossy Well for being such a nice pub ❤️

Lovely pub. The building looks awesome. There is a smoking terrace with tables at the front and there is also a bbq garden in the back. The interior is nice and light. The food was great. The toilets are clean and well kept.
