We had two and one pint of Jubel, with their green curry and steak pie. The beer and the meals were both awesome. Not to large, not too salty, plenty of flavor. The beer was refreshing and perfect after w day exploring London. Brilliant service from a very friendly staff. If you see and friendly Romanian with a fantastic mustache - you're in good hands. Music is a great play list of slick 90s memories. Atmosphere is what I would want out of any pub in the area. Well priced, very similar to what we'd pay back home in Canada. For the same food and service. Recommend. 5/5 Top Shelf

A fantastic pub! This pub is great for big gatherings and is normally the go-to place for myself and colleagues after work. It's very large and spacious on the inside with plenty of tables and seats. It can get pretty busy inside but usually. There's also some outside seating for the summer months which can be very nice but once again it can get pretty crowded. A great selection of beers and the food is also really good. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a traditional British pub.

Great pub. Can handle the big crowds on a Thursday in summer. Can order from waiters but often quicker to go to the bar yourself when busy.

I like Fuller's pubs in general. My recollection of this one is that the beer is expensive. The service is usually pretty good though and the food is good pub grub.

There was a good range of beer, the pub is spacious and the bar staff were efficient - there was even table service when we went. But. The music was insanely loud for the time of day and we had to leave to be able to hear each other talk.

A delightful place with staff possessing a wicked sense of humour. Good beer and great service. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the City. Lovely people, lovely beer!

A mega busy Fullers pub on a Thursday just before Christmas, probably not the best time to review it, staff did well under superb pressure

I had a fun time at The Telegraph, Moorgate. There was an event for Black Entrepreneurs going on for The Kickback called 'City Nights Networking Events', it was a night with an opportunity to meet people in various industries and I had a blast. I certainly enjoyed the cocktail from the bar and the entire atmosphere was excellent.

This was our local for the past year in our Moorgate office. Although it's very pricey - like £8-10 for a single - the atmosphere is always great and the staff are friendly and fun. The food here is really high quality and the chefs do a perfect job if you've got a work function, like a Christmas party.

What a very great shame about this venue. I gave it 4 stars last time around and have now pulled back to three. They are in a prime position. It's a great space with a good range of product. Staff are helpful and professional. But: service at the bar is abysmal. If you like recreating the frustration of being served at your student union bar - go for it. In fact, I've been to student unions recently that are swifter in transaction turnaround. Don't train staff on a Thursday, eh? Thursday is the new Friday, after all. And: the acoustic is harsh so avoid crowded times. The venue will doubtless continue to succeed - it's undeniably popular. But on its current glidepath it's unlikely to excel in delivery or expectation and probably can't articulate to management why it's not overcoming the transaction throughput throttle at its busiest times.

Spacious bar with plenty of seating options and a nice outdoor area. Food is also pretty good. There a few negatives to consider. Extremely noisy with both large crowds and loud music (owners think they are running a night club), you cant even talk properly to the person next to you its so loud. 2nd biggest problem is the drinks are extortionate, you are looking at £7 + for a pint which is just ridicoulous even for city of London.

First time here very impressed. Great Fuller's beers and good food. Was very busy from 16:30 (Thurs) but lots of bar staff working so never had to wait long for service. Staff very friendly too.

I have been visiting "The Telegraph" for at least one year and never had any problems, but last Friday, I experienced the worst customer service ever, we shared a bill with my work colleagues and apparently something was wrong with the card reader but both accounts(myself and my colleague)was charged with the right amount of money, we both show on online banking accounts, but later when we tried to get onother drink, lady at the bar refused to get one she event couldn't explain why, she was very rude with bad attitude, so we just left and never gonna come back

We were a large crowd of 60+ people and I thought the evening went quite well. Food was okish but lacked on the niceties. Bread with pate was so small that it was not worthy of being there. Vegetable with my chicken dish were very tiny... It felt I had 2 mushrooms diced in small bits battling on my plate and I was thinking that a dish of seasonal vegetables was on its way but this was not the case. Okish but not a place I would entertain going back to

The telegraph has a really old fashioned British feel to it. It can get a bit busy. The food can be good if you pick the right thing. Recommend.

Nice Pub, we meet friends on a Friday evening before going out-out, good atmosphere.

Just so slow and not customer focused. They get away with it because business is easy to come by but I'm afraid it's just lazy.

Good pub in an ideal location near Bank. Although it was crowded table service was really quick and efficient.

Very spacious inside. Awesome location. The side street on which the pub is can get really crowded. Staff were very polite and service was quite quick...even on a crowded thursday night

Good establishment. A bit hidden away but there are plenty of spaces both indoors and outdoors.

A Wes-Anderson-like experience of a non-functioning pub. Terrible acoustics, bizarre food substitutions, confusion between table and bar service... The experience may be bad but at least it's expensive!

5*s for the amazing staff member who brought me my bag, halfway across town as I was leaving with my dog - I hadn’t noticed my mini backpack was missing! Such a thoughtful, kind soul! Thanks a lot

Love this place and book majority of my work team get togethers here every couple of months or so… the food and beverage packages are amazing value and the service is always superb thanks to Elyda who always goes the extra mile with her attention to detail and always makes sure we have everything we need! Many thanks as always and will undoubtedly see you and your lovely team again soon! Shannon 😊

Lovely hidden away pub. As with most pubs in London, gets absolutely packed from about 5pm. Only issue - which isn't really the fault of the pub - is that smokers stand outside the main entrance, which is on a narrow alleyway. There is an area around the side of the pub that would be better used for a smoking area.

Nice Atmosphere good beer. Music can be a bit loud although im probably not used to it as first pub been too since before lockdown. Would recommend, good night.

It is not the most beautiful, nor the least expensive but it has a nice and big outdoor area. It has always been there for me in good and bad times. Yours faithfully Telegraph!

  • 3/5 Stefan B. 2 years ago on Google
Very friendly staff, however the deals are slightly misleading when it says "1 kilo of chicken wings plus any 4 beers". Raised the issue, but no luck, ended up paying about an extra tenner. Other than that issue, lovely place in Central London, we'll worth a visit.
