Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed stains on the comforter and even mascara smudges on the pillowcase. It was evident that the linens had not been properly cleaned or changed before my arrival. I was appalled by this lack of basic hygiene standards. Know that there is no telephone for you to call the front desk for any type of assistance, therefore, you have to leave your room and go to the front desk and wait in line for help When I reported the issue to the front desk, they sent me a second set of linens, but to my dismay, they were the wrong size for the bed. This meant yet another trip downstairs to request the correct linens. After waiting another 45 minutes for the replacement linens, I was shocked to discover a brown stain on the comforter when I unfolded it. It was unacceptable to be provided with yet another soiled set of linens, considering this was the third attempt to rectify the situation. The consistent failure of the hotel staff to provide clean and properly sized linens was truly disappointing. After my disappointing experience, I reached out to their customer service to address the numerous issues I encountered during my stay. Regrettably, their response fell short. The customer service representative acknowledged the inconveniences I faced and offered a $50 credit to my final bill as compensation. However, the compensation did not adequately address the amount of time and effort I had to invest after a long flight just to have my room cleaned from dirty linens. The fact that I didn't retire to bed until after 1 AM due to these issues significantly impacted my ability to have a good night's sleep, contrary to what their supposed "good night sleep policy" claimed to provide. They failed to make me feel like a valued customer and failed to acknowledge the inconveniences and sleep deprivation I experienced Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise prospective guests to spend their hard-earned money elsewhere. Hotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations of cleanliness and guest comfort. Also, the surrounding area is not pleasant. You can definitely find a better hotel in London.

This was an unscheduled stay due to the euro tunnel industrial action. It turned out to be a real treat, the staff are excellent, friendly, calm under pressure and determined to make the stay as good as possible. Our room was clean and welcoming with an excellent bathroom. We used the restaurant for our evening meal and the maître d' was amazing along with good quality food. A perfect end to a disastrous day.

We stop at this particular hotel at least twice a year and what is becoming a common theme, is that staff are thin on the ground. We checked in early, around 12:30 pm, and joined the growing queue for the single person on reception. You would have expected the bar area to be open for people who like to lunch in the hotel, but the shutters were down. Staffing does seem to be a problem. We paid the £10 for the early check-in which doesn't seem exorbitant and then found our room. The rooms were starting to look a little tired but they appear to have been refurbished, at least ours was. It looked fresh and new and was spotlessly clean. Despite being on Euston road, it's lovely and quiet. It's very much the formula Premier Inn, reasonably priced, a great location and very comfy beds. This is a perfect hub for getting round London, 5 mins from St Pancras and the tube or for a train down to Brighton, one of out usual trips. It is also just on the edge of the congestion zone so if like us, you want to drive and park and avoid the expense and reliability of trains, then this suits well. What it likes in staff and service it makes up for in location and comfort.

Stayed at this hotel in a 'Premier' room for 2 nights. To start with, the location was excellent for anyone arriving in London from Euston, St Pancras or Kings Cross. The check-in was fairly quick and there was a room ready when we arrived at 1pm. The room itself was clean and a fairly good size for London. There are tea and coffee making facilities as well as free WiFi availability. The room was generally quiet and the air conditioning was effective. We had breakfast on both days and both mornings were very busy, the quietest time is after 9 o'clock. Any time before, and you will probably have to queue. The breakfast was very good with a great selection to choose from. *Please be aware, if you want housekeeping you need to inform the reception. If you don't, they will not service your room. We were not informed about this at check-in, and I really didn't think that this is something that we should have to ask for really. When I spoke to the housekeepers they were not interested in helping me, however, they did sort out some fresh towels as I asked. I would stay at this hotel again, but bearing in mind the price of this London hotel, I will probably try somewhere else next time.

Down with boys for an NFL weekend, and we all had great sleep. The beds were really comfortable and with a good breakfast to set us up = Result. The staff were brilliant, friendly, and helpful. Nothing was any trouble to them. Next to Kings Cross so transportation was right on our doorstep would definitely recommend staying here.

They are IMPOSSIBLE to reach by phone or email if you wish to discuss your reservation in any way. They charge you to check in before 3PM. :( Our first room had a strong odor but they changed us. This is a budget hotel that charges a premium because they are in a great location for the Eurostar train. I would avoid staying there again if possible and there is reasonably priced availability elsewhere.

We stayed here for four nights in september 2023 a family of five in two separate rooms. They do not have family rooms that can accommodate all of us in the same room and unfortunately they did not have connecting rooms even though we booked pretty much in advance. Location is perfect just a few steps from King's cross main hub station for many tube lines. Also many bus routes go through the main road just outside the hotel.

Couldn't fault the our 3 night break. Went with my husband, son, daughter-in-law and 8 year old granddaughter. The staff were extremely helpful, always doing their best. The breakfasts were really good value. The staff never stopped, bringing out fresh food. Excellent selection and choice. If they didn't have something, the staff immediately went to get it for us. Great location for Euston, st. Pancras, Kings Cross and the underground. Walking distance to Covent garden and the West end. The bar and restaurant staff were always courteous and helpful. Despite how much pressure they were under and the sometimes off hand folk demanding something. Very child friendly too. Thank you all of you we will definitely come back.

Brilliant doorstep hotel when Using either Euston Station or St Pancras Station. Good big family room, with comfortable beds. No restaurant open due to refurbishment and when I needed to get a bottle of water there was non available at the hotel at 11pm. So had to go out to find a shop. Wasn't best impressed especially when the vending machine had water in it but was told its only a display bottle!!!!. Anyways customer service was good and they held our luggage until later in the day. So overall a great hotel

Excellent location, large rooms. Very quiet, no noise from the traffic or other rooms at all. Only breakfast (and the lifts down to breakfast) was very busy with a queue to wait to be seated and to get hot food. But the staff were very good at quickly clearing tables and refilling the buffet.

The hotel is in excellent location for hopping on the tube to get about, however it felt so very basic. The bed was so creaky that it woke us everytime we moved, along with it being lumpy and you roll to the middle!! The room being very basic too. We chose to eat at the hotel the first night, the menu was ok, however the food took 50 mins to arrive and our 10 year old was totally passed it. The staff were pleasant, however we would not choose to stay at this hotel again due to the fact it need some maintenance and upgrading make it a more refreshing and comfortable stay!!

When I first got here, the hotel was giving me really weird vibes. There was only one person working there and she was busy helping other people (which I totally understand) but she didn't really say anything else to us and then there was random construction noises that were really loud and when I asked her about the noises she said she didn't even know where they were coming from. The actual rooms are awesome and super nice and the breakfast was amazing. I don't like the location whatsoever although I like how the St Pancras Station and the British Library are extremely close to the hotel (the BL was right in front of room when I would open the curtains). Overall, I would recommend this hotel, just don't show up before 3 pm (check in time) because they store your bags in a room with everyone elses' bags and it's a little suspicious.

Nice room for a fair price. Good location! Unfortunately we experienced several times lack of information from the staff/reception when we checked in, during our stay and on the the day before checking out. The day before checking out we asked the staff about possibly paying for delaying the check out time. We where told that it was against company policy but they could storage our luggage after check out time. When we checked out we where informed that the hotel had no space for our luggage (first come first serve) and we had to find a solution on our own. Unexpected, bad service, time consuming and expensive for our last day in London. Give proper information and give your customers the chance to plan ahead. Make sure your guests have good options and get good advice. You had 1 person in the reception on a Sunday around check out time. It was impossible to get help while 1 person is taking care of people checking in and out.

The location of this hotel is perfect if you need quick and easy access to King's Cross or Sr Pancras stations, and it's only a few minutes' walk from Euston. The hotel is quite basic, as you'd expect for a functional city centre stop off but the room was pleasant enough, and very clean. Wh6 have I given it 3 stars? Well Lenny Henry, you should have a word with the bosses, as not all the beds are nice like your advert suggests. The bed in our room was great for those who like the floor... almost as firm as a plank. It was about equivalent in comfort to a deep pile carpet. If that's your thing, you'll love it, but if you want a little more give in your mattress, you may want to look elsewhere! Would I use this place again? It would certainly be on the shortlist for an overnight, but if there was another nearby at a similar price, I'd give that a try instead.

Room a bit small..as was the bed. Service slow in bar. In fact at one point Brad(worth a special mention) was covering reception, luggage collection and the bar! And all done with a pleasant manner and a smile

They need more staff. Check-in took about 45 minutes because there was a long queue and only one person on reception. Later on the same situation at the bar, often no one was around and sometimes the person from reception would do it and none of the staff seemed very attentive apart from one. Many unhappy guests in the reception and bar area it seemed. Location is good and rooms were fine, clean but nothing special, pillows didn't seem usual quality. Eventhough it's a busy road it was pretty quiet. The Kings Cross Premier Inn down the road is much better quality and service.

Walking distance to Euston, trains, underground & buses, I stayed with a 5 year old, so I asked for a quiet room at check in, and we got one on a high floor at the back of the building, so nice at quiet at night time. It was also a really big spacious room. Breakfast had a good selection, although personally, I would have liked some more Vegan/Vegetarian options on the hot buffet. Friendly staff, and a good meal deal on Breakfast/Dinner/drinks.

I was charged twice on my booking for my Honeymoon trip. Prior to check-out, they told me that they would helped me out with the refund process but they have yet get back to me. I tried calling the reception desks many times using the contact given on the website, but they never picked up the phone even during the non-busy periods. I tried to email them given by the security staff but I got no email response back either. The hotel has a great location area but service wise and pro-activeness from the staff I’m not so sure.

Nice hotel, fab staff. Had a family room. Pull up bed a bit hard and uncomfortable. Could maybe put a sliding partition for a bit of privacy for the children. Especially as the children I had with me are looked after children and would have liked a bit more privacy

Had a great time. Staff are very friendly and the location is absolutely perfect. The breakfast is really good to the key card system works very efficiently. we both had a great stay here. I would highly recommend to anybody who is worth a dam.

Having visited a number of times, I had what I've come to regard as my usual room, facing away from the busy road. It was nice and quiet. Everything was clean and tidy and staff were really nice. The only problem I had was working the keycard lift, and this was easily fixed. I didn't eat in, as I was going out early.

Awesome location across from King's Cross, the colleagues were super helpful throughout our stay, especially when I was running late for my train and needed to grab my bags last minute. Room was perfect, clean and comfortable.

Only 1 person on the check-in desk and a very long queue, however, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and noise cancelled (despite being at the front of the building). Great breakfast as always and a fabulous location!

Lovely airy rooms with good space. Only thing that wasn’t good was the pull out bed in family room, it was lumps and bumps…..as it is for the kids, having a bed that digs them in the ribs and back is not ideal so I’m assuming the other single beds in the family room are the same. Awful. Other than that it was a pleasant stay, really friendly staff and breakfast was great

As always premier inn consistent and predictable, nice updated rooms at this one but breakfast very very busy and had to wait for a table, it was over Christmas but we should have left more time for breakfast being we had a train to catch..

Always go for premier inn for nights before travelling as usually ideal and reasonably priced. Was getting the 5am Eurostar so chose this one. It had only location as a pro. Here are the cons: No check in machines working Only one member of staff - long queues Pillows flat Duvets too thick, room was so hot we could hardly sleep. No air con. Noise from the busy road, sirens kept waking our children. Baby cot was awful, dirty and did not provide a mattress. Was expecting our 1 year old to sleep on the hard surface, harder than the floor! You wouldn’t expect that of an adult so why an Infant? I did complain at the hotel but, the staff didn’t care and said it’s just the cots we have, gave me a blanket but, wasn’t safe enough so baby had to sleep in with me! Hairdryer didn’t work The elevators don’t work - we had luggage and a buggy so couldn’t take the stairs. Had to wait ages at 5am for one that worked. Do not recommend this one

I stayed in many Premier Inn hotels but this is one of the more dated ones. When the whole place is so old that you cannot decide whether everything is just dated or actually dirty, I think it is time for a refurbishment. I get it, this is a budget hotel, but still… Breakfast was included but I decided to get something at the nearby Pret instead… Did not feel that I can relax after a long day, tried to not touch anything… Location is very convenient, staff is very friendly, but otherwise, it was a disappointment. Do not recommend…

Very pleasant stay which is all I could really ask for. Staff were friendly, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and the selection is good depending on if you were after cooked or continental.

Convenient location for Euston and St Pancras Stations. First night there food and service not up to standard. Need to get staff properly trained to deal with customer service complaints? I had worked in the Leisure industry for years and the attitude and the way the staff deal with complaints needs to be reviewed. Apart from that, the room was pleasant enough and the breakfast was 10/10. Premier Inns just need to get the service issues improved??

  • 4/5 C C. 6 months ago on Google
We chose this premier inn as it was close to St Pancras. All premier inn's are pretty good, clean and comfortable, however, the bathroom wasn't particularly clean in this one and pillows were uncomfortable. Also, rooms are not made up each day like they use to do. Bar staff and front manager was nice, however her other member of front staff was quite rude.

  • 4/5 Ben M. 2 years ago on Google
Overall good value for money, but prices do change a lot. Location is very convenient for the main Kings Cross stations. Rooms are generally of good quality and even on the main road they're quite at night. At busy times staff are stretched and wait times can be excessive, but the staff do try their best to help. A few tweaks and more staffing would make this a great place to stay.

Day time service is no service. May be many and many travellers check-in at the same time. Night time service is different than day time. Quick and responsible. Meal deal (dinner + breakfast) doesn’t highly recommend. Dinner likes disaster. No services and waiting a long time for the courses. Courses taste bad and too salty. Waste money. However, breakfast is good and recommended trying if you has luxury money coz it is buffet.

Every time I review a Premier Inn I comment on the WiFi. I don't really get the two-tier business model anyway but if you pay for the upper tier you sort of expect it to work consistently. Not keep dropping out or being told it's waiting to reconnect once the quality improves. Other than that - it's a very good Premier Inn, in a very convenient location. With some really pleasant, helpful staff as an added bonus.

  • 5/5 Michelle j. 2 years ago on Google
Fantastic welcome couldn't help us enough as my husband is disabled and they changed our room to accommodate us. We had the meal deal and it was amazing the staff again couldn't help us enough, the food was great. We will definitely be staying again.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Check in takes a while they have machines that are not working. The rooms are nice and clean only strange that you have to ask if they are cleaning. Breakfast is basic and also not always very well supplied. You pay money and there is no food available. The staff is not very well trained and nice. The location is good for tube and not to busy.

  • 4/5 Ally K. 1 year ago on Google
Brilliant location with 3 overground stations and 2 underground stations within 5 minutes walk. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. My only negative was that the room was very hot, even with the air con on. Service was good and staff friendly throughout our stay.

  • 2/5 Jonathan A. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms are just as expected. General premier inn stuff it’s fine. The staff though are not so great. Getting sat down for a meal takes a lifetime even when there are clearly lots of free tables. The young girls serving dinner clearly need more customer focused training and showing how to serve food, as in, clear some of the tables? Maybe wipe them when someone leaves and has finished? Don’t leave piles of dirty plates stacked in the middle of the dining area on tables or trolleys? When taking drinks orders maybe bring the drinks when they’re ready? Bring the mains after clearing the plates of the starters? Oh and when a kid politely asks you for some source, don’t make them wait ten minutes make the parents ask again twice and then when challenged about it as the same child has now basically finished their food give some ridiculous reason it didn’t come with a pile of attitude for good measure. If your gonna book a premier around here, go around the corner to the King’s Cross one it’s nicer, it’s better staffed and you won’t get wound up by spotty teenager’s who are really bad at there jobs. (And I once was a spotty teenager working in customer service who was properly trained but good at the job, did it for years and still works in a customer facing role at the ripe old age of 40, so I’m not just having a moan.)

With Premier Inn you know what to expect, nothing special but adequate. We chose this due to its location as it is just next to St Pancras and handy for an early Eurostar train. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious.

  • 4/5 Ian Y. 1 year ago on Google
I stayed here because it was very convenient for catching a Eurostar, which was due to leave early in the day. Rooms are air conditioned and my bed was agreeably firm. Staffing levels seemed to be low as service for food was desperately slow. So, if you don’t eat and just have a room, it is excellent.

We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times in the past and enjoyed it. It's in a great location on Euston Road just a few minutes walk from St Pancras, Kings Cross and Euston stations and with good Underground connections. We had a family room which was a good size. While the rooms are fine it's noticeable that the public areas are now quite run-down and in need of renovation. There are now some quite basic issues - for example, there are buttons missing in the lift and we couldn't actually reach floor 3 as there was nothing to press and the auto check in machine didn't seem to be working. Generally seems to fall short of the usual high Premier Inn standard.

  • 4/5 Kevin P. 1 year ago on Google
Great location for Kings Cross St Pancras station. Breakfast was pretty nice too, with all you can eat buffet. We wanted to spend some time in the bar, but unfortunately they had very little in the way of alcoholic options other than beer and red/white wine! The reason: lack of delivery, but still very disappointing. Would use again though, if we needed somewhere close to the station as the rooms were pretty good.

  • 4/5 Nathan D. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed in an wheelchair accessible room. Negatives first: The toilet was wonky and on an angle, and the bathroom door was almost falling off its hinges, leaving an actual gap between the bathroom and the bedroom. The curtains were almost impossible to get open, not sure if the pole was rusty or something? For what you're paying for a room in Central London, the room quality in general needs improving. Positives: everything was clean and tidy. The shower was great, the food was great (we had the breakfast buffet) and it was easy to check in and out. Exceptional service from Andi, who really made such a difference on the final morning of our stay during breakfast.

Nice safe environment to spend the night with my family. Facilities nice, staff friendly, and breakfast was just what's call for, first thing in a morning. Rooms only let in at 14:30 at earliest, but they do have a bad drop, secure, like dropping your bags off at an airport. Few mins walk from Euston station, with plenty of of shops and restaurants in walking distance, closest a pizza express, a few steps out of the door Our night sleep was very good, beds comfy, and noise... Well lest say we though we were the only ones on the floor, as we never heard anyone else, including traffic and busy street London noise. Deffo stay here again.
