What an AMAZING place! We randomly decided to grab brunch here on our way to The Castle Climbing Centre and it was delicious and the service was excellent. Everything on the menu looks incredible so we'll definitely be coming back to try each dish. Good size portions and beautifully presented. Good coffee too. We had the Land & Sea and the Medi breakfasts.

I've been here several times and every single drink or item of food I've had has been perfectly made. From the latte, the smoothies, the pancakes, the sausage, the bacon, even the toast, it is all spot on every time. I challenge you to find any breakfast spot in London more on point than Dobar. I don't think it exists. The people running the place are awesome too and provide excellent service! Everything is just flat out amazing here.

The service is good and the prices are reasonable. The food is aesthetically pleasing, the taste was mediocre but reasonably priced in my opinion. The smoothie I had with the food was called tropical crush which was really good. The service was pretty good as well. There is normally a bit of a queue outside as the place isn't particularly big and it can get busy but they gave us some free curly fries to make up for it. Overall I'd say it's worth a try.

I'll be brief with Dobar. -top food: very good portions and all the flavours, with the presentation just on point (not too much neither too simple). Good service, not too attentive neither you feel abandoned. Price, at the beginning I saw the menu and felt it was a bit pricey however when I saw the portions it felt just right. Be aware, it is not cheap but there are worse places out there that cost you a lot more. It was two of us, two breakfasts with tea and coffee for just under £20 x person without service charge.

Went with my friend today for lunch and coffee, we waited outside for a short while in a small queue before we were given a lovely window seat. It’s quite small inside with a good atmosphere, very busy, very clean and lovely decor. The service was friendly and very quick. Loved our food and will definitely go back to try some of the other delicious dishes we saw others having. 5⭐️

What an amazing find!!! The staff are lovely, very friendly and attentive, the food is outstanding, the coffee is lovely, strong and smooth, free jug of water infused with mint, lemon and lime we had a traditional breakfast on our first visit, served in a frying pan, everything cooked perfectly 🥰. Second visit was small pancakes served with fresh lots of fresh fruit and clotted cream and a small jug of maple syrup 😋. Third visit was an O.M.G breakfast and it certainly lived up to its name!! Cooked to perfection and tasty, really couldn't fault anything!!! When it's very busy, there is a one hour limit on the table which is enough time to eat even the biggest breakfast 🤩

Went here for a breakfast. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Was seated really quickly, food was fresh and hot and surprisingly really nice normally with these places it’s all about the looks, but it really is good fresh food. Only thing really to note is that there is no baby changing facilities, but do have high chairs and is baby friendly.

My absolute favourite breakfast place in the UK! Everything is cooked to perfection and the mixture of sweet and savoury is spot on. We visit every time we are in/near London. It’s always busy so sometimes have to wait for a table but its so worth it. I already recommend Dobar to everybody and can’t wait to visit again!

Excellent customer service. Was greeted and seated as we entered the cafe. Breakfast was just mouth watering. I’ve always dine at Cafe East but i have found a new favourite. Presentation 5* Pancakes freshly baked , fruits were so fresh you thought they were freshly picked, clotted cream tasted so fresh ,spinach was so fresh and tasty and last but least avocado sprinkled with pomegranate was so flavoursome. I was informed that on weekends you might encounter a queue for about 20mins . I’ve only visited midweek . It’s a small cafe but comfortable seating. Highly recommended

The place is slightly on the smaller side, however the service and the food over shadows all the negative things you can think of. The food was delicious. For full whack, £13.50, it really does fill you up. The drinks are absolutely refreshing. I had the tropical smoothie. My 1st sip was wow. Definitely recommend to anyone for mixture of food, fruits and chocolate.

*Could not recommend Dobar enough!* This small, tucked away breakfast and brunch spot is literally a hidden Gem. Prices are incredible, staff are great, and most importantly....the food is fantastic as always. A few pics of my meals below. Point to note: the ques are long. This is a fair warning, but it's worth every minute waiting. If you have a savoury tooth or sweet tooth, there's something for everyone at Dobar. 10/10 would recommend.

Was expecting the food to be more about store then substance, but actually it was very tasty and filling. I really enjoyed it. The coffee was good too. Fortunately we came before the queues kicked in so we didn't have to wait for a table, but typically there's a big queue outside this place. They do halal options on the menu - i had the sujuk and it was so tasty

Saw that this was the best breakfast near Finsbury Park. Although I have nothing to compare it to, it was truly a wonderful experience. We were warmly greeted when we walked in the door, our food and drinks came out promptly, and everything tasted delicious. I would highly recommend this place. The queue to get seated was around ~20-30 minutes, but it was way worth the wait! The staff is very friendly, we had the Smashed It with bacon and Medi Breeze brunches, Medi Clash signature with sourdough extra and the Apple Pie Pancakes special for dessert. I absolutely loved the Medi Breeze because I like the toasted sourdough and the balance between savory and sweet options on the plate was great. The Apple Pie Pancakes were absolutely amazing! We also tried the Strawberry Split and Coco Loco smoothies which were great, but if you're having dessert as well it's gonna be too sweet. During June, if you present the instagram post you can get a 15% discount!

Been here twice and the food is always on point. French tourist is my favourite on the menu. The french toasts are better than the pancakes. Love the sausage and halal bacon. Drinks could be better though. Best halal place for brunch in London!

Went here for a brunch on a Friday morning and was BLOWN away. The food is so, so, so delicious and of such high quality. Fresh, unique dishes with originality and made with heart. And at really reasonable prices!! The atmosphere is very casual, relaxed and welcoming. Sweet and friendly staff. Have recommended it to all my NE London friends already and can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Birthday brunch back in august - Amazing food, portions, prices - simply amazing!!!!! I cannot get over what a bargain this place is! Very high quality food, beautiful presentation, great service. You just cannot go wrong. Will most definitely be back to try the French toast! The only negative is really to do with how cramped it feels, they are super busy and do get queues and it sort if feels they try cram in as many tables as they can! We went on a Thursday lunch and it was heaving!! As it was my birthday brunch we did try book ahead but they don’t take bookings (which to be fair I can understand given the demand they have there is no need!). One thing that did really impress me was how great service was inspite of how busy they were!

I understand why this place has almost 5 stars— the food is amazing and affordable! I mean just look at the photos! Also they had halal options available, and it’s sometimes difficult to find a place for halal brunch in London so I appreciated that a lot. It’s super easy to get to and is only a few minutes walk from Manor House. I asked for oat milk in my coffee but still had really awful lactose-intolerant reactions to the mocha unfortunately, the worst I’ve had in years, so be careful if you’re lactose intolerant like me and go for a smoothie or something. The food really is excellent though so don’t let that put you off!

Spectacular brunch place near Manor House underground station. The decor of this restaurant is fantastic alongside high quality varied brunch food. They choose not to take bookings but instead a short queue outside and keeping the tables limited to 1.5 hours. This is one of the best places in London and was recognised in Vogue as the same.

One of my best Spots to visit for brunch, they have a great selection and the food is very tasty as is the coffee. Service is always good however I'm not happy that you have a limited time on the table, especially since it takes over 40 minutes for the food to arrive. I feel the ventilation system also need to be improved as it gets quite hot and stuffy. Would recommend without a doubt.

Great presentation, great tasting food, great vibe. I would have given it 5 stars, but there was one issue that bugged us. We asked if we could move to a different table that was available, but were told "sorry, the boss is on his way, and he sits there". We weren't comfortable where we sat, I'm sure the boss wouldn't have minded swapping with us? I would definitely go back, just hope next time, if I'm uncomfortable, the staff would be a little more accommodating.

Went here in July 2020 just after moving flat for brunch! Wonderful perfectly cooked food in good size portions! At the time, I have to say they had the nicest smelling alcohol gel 😅 It smelt like talcum powder or something, can’t go wrong with that! Better than smelling of cheap vodka! Visited yesterday Sun 25th Nov with my bf for brunch and had a really lovely meal. Arrived at 11am and queued outside for about half hr then we were seated at a cute little table facing the pavement. The passionfruit/mango smoothie was outstanding but the green one was a bit too distinctively mint flavoured for our liking. Menu extensive and did struggle to choose but finally opted for the Medi Clash, all cooked perfectly, runny eggs as I requested, hefty slabs of perfectly cooked halloumi, and the pancakes were fluffy and went perfectly with the cream snd fresh fruit! He had the Full Whack (which I didnt get a photo of before he tucked in, served in a cast iron skillet), well cooked but actually tricky to eat from the pan. My oat latte was fine but his Americano wasn't amazing apparently. Service was surprisingly fast, genuinely expected a 40 min wait but was barely 15 mins! Everyone friendly and sweet and a very enjoyable experience - will defs go back!!

(Translated by Google) Amazing sourdough pizza I expected a lot and was not disappointed. I love simple and authentic flavors, so I chose Margarita. This was spectacular. Beautiful sourdough dough, fresh tomatoes and quality mozzarella. You should try this. Best breakfast in London I've been with my partner a couple of times for brunch, the pancakes are amazing but the cooked breakfast is even better, probably the best cooked breakfast I've had in London. The staff are nice too. Great new brunch spot! This place is a great option for breakfast / brunch. I first tried Dobar for some take back pizza which was ok but not as good as some others locally but after looking at the brunch menu I could see that this is where they would really shine. I went with my boyfriend today and we were not disappointed. .. There were all the brand favorites; nice looking english frying combo served right in the pan (bf was very pleased!) and all kinds of broken combos - egg - gollenda - salmon - you might want. I tried the egg and yogurt version which sounded a little different and it was so tasty and fresh. I even spied on other people's tables with some great looking mounds of scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs and bacon crepe waffle that caught fire on both me and my friends and started discussing our next brunch there. Only the coffee will let you down. This local brunch is great, so you'd quite expect to have some amazing coffee, but unfortunately it was just a weak filter. However, the staff were so nice that they made me iced coffee even though it was not on the menu so I appreciated it however I would recommend they get proper machine and barista training because then they will knock it out of the park for brunch, Also love the watch! Breakfast until 4:00 pm I can imagine would be very helpful on hangover days. I recommend Defoe! .., just help me pin them about the coffee machine. ,, I ordered the Margarita pizza, to be honest I didn't expect it to be that good, but it turned out to be so delicious! One of the best pizzas I've ever tasted in London! ! The dough was delicious (Original)

Bitter sweet experience. Went with my friends on a Saturday had to park a little far but wait wasn't too long (15mins) to be seated. Food was good and well presented but it closes at 5pm and staff were pressing to close, I asked to take the rest of my food away as I didn't want to rush it. Member of staff took my plate and I guess forgot and ended up throwing all my food away. They refused to refund and were not good at resolving the situation, one member of staff actually told me he didn't want to do anything about it. In the end they offered 50% off next time I come but had no voucher to assure they would fulfil. Not sure if I will go back tbh as customer service goes a long way with me... Will let you know if I ever get my 50% off.

Came here to see what the hype was about waited about 30mins to be seated. Experience was decent however was a very slow service. I chose the full wack breakfast. For my fellow muslims They serve wine and pork so its not ideal as I'm sure the products are cross contaminated and stored together.

We went here on the 25.08.2020. Food was great! Perfectly cooked and a range of choices and extras. Quite a small cafe but it's cute. I'm not sure if was due to Covid-19 but we had a maximum stay of 1 hour and a half. This was ridiculous because we waited 40-50mins for our food! Can you image!? In a small cafe??? I'm so glad the food was good because the experience could have been ruined. A lot of customers were complaining about the wait for the food and I think they need to work on this. Presentation of the food was great, food tasted great. This account is as accurate and honest as possible. I would definitely go back but hope I don't have to wait 50mins for our food next time. Food-10/10 Service- 9/10 Overall Experience- 8/10

This place is great. The food looks exactly like the pictures you see on their Instagram and they definitely give you a decent amount for the price. I’m quite a fussy eater but I had near enough no complaints with the food. It was yummy and so was the smoothie. Because Dobar is popular it gets quite filled in there pretty quickly and the venue is small so you may find yourself like super close to another table which is a tad uncomfortable.

Great place for a brunch in London (lots of choices, great food). Some improvements can be done on the service however. We were rather coldly reminded that we have to stay at a maximum of 1 hour (not written on the website) but we had to wait for 30 minutes to have our food. Ordering a desert seems to bother them.

Food is good but service isn’t great and this was a let down for me. You can’t swap items on the menu during weekends which is ridiculous and the waitress wasn’t being flexible or accommodating considering I have food allergies. The man at the door is very stern and expects you to wear a face mask for 10 seconds before being seated. I think the Insta fame has gotten to everyone’s head hence the rubbish service.

Great place to go for breakfast/brunch. Presentation of the food was so pretty and cute. Everyone was staring at the taco pancakes when they came to our table. We had to wait about 10 mins to be seated as we were a group of 3. Less than 1 minute walk from the station. The staff were very friendly and polite. Loads to choices on the menu, healthy options too and a wide variety of extras to add on to any dish. Would definitely recommend.

This is next to my new office and I have been eyeing it up for a few weeks. I finally went for lunch today and absolutely loved it. Hot and delicious flat white, and the most amazing lunch/ brunch (medi platter). The food was delicious, the presentation was perfect and the portion super generous. I loved the feeling of the place - packed with truly diverse locals enjoying their wonderful food. Service was friendly and warm. I loved it and can’t wait to go back. Was touched by the info about the owners and their mission on the menu! Edit: went again and had smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs and bacon and a lovely side salad. It was delicious and good value. Lovely coffee, excellent service, lovely atmosphere. 5 stars again!!!

Love this place great staff and great food. It's quite small but you never feel crowded. It does get busy so you may have to queue outside but the staff are always working to get you a seat.

Customer service was great, came in solo, got a seat within seconds. Menu was perfect easy to read, with lovely selections. Food was 10/10, well laid out and couldn’t resist to tuck in. Hygiene Spot on

Hand down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Absolutely Perfect, great quality, presentation and every item cooked perfectly. Staff really friendly too. 1st class! I will be back for sure.

I’ve come here more than once and can’t fault it. Great service and great food. It’s always busy so best to get there at a good time or just be lucky! Parking available on the side road and felt very welcoming. Felt like it’s slightly on the pricey side but overall experience is positive. One negative comment I’ll had, I really dislike when restaurant would split the sausage in half and say it’s ‘2’ sausages. It’s cheeky and not needed. Genuine review, would recommend.

Looking at photos online, it doesn’t seem like much, but I think this place is a must-try. Having an Eastern European background, I thought the food was absolutely delicious and reminded me of what we have back home. Staff were friendly, there was no wait for us to get a seat, and service was quick. Highly recommend stopping here for brunch :)

Very good brunch place. I have always wanted to try it but there is always a massive queue outside. If you gi there before 10:52 you'll manage to get a place without queueing too much. Service is quick and friendly. Food is delicious with great presentation and abundant. We spent 21£ each with juices and coffees included

Food and service was lovely. Plates come in very good portions size! The smoothies are delicious! We read online that we would probably need to queue for about 45 min, we were fortunate enough no to queue at all so that was a bonus!

Good place to have a breakfast meal. Good breakfast and well presented foods. Price is a bit expensive compare to other but great vibes atmosphere. If you want to grab the seat, better come early.

The food was really delicious! We went a bit after opening on Sunday and there was no line. Service was good too. We enjoyed sourdough with avocado and salmon and poached eggs (salad on the side) and Nutella pancakes. We were not big fans of the coffee - should have maybe tried smoothie or juice.

Been here many times. Service is always great and super efficient. Their pancakes need improving as well as the salad that comes with some dishes but everything else is amazing.

Been here around 4-5 times over the past 3-4 years and honestly still the best halal brunch place around. The queue is expected due to the top quality food and service you will receive. The food is 10-10 honestly with the presentation being extremely impressive. The only issue is, it gets cold in the restaurant during winter days as people come in and go, please invest in stronger door heaters and maybe even a curtain to block the draft. Apart from that, PLEASE EXPAND!!!
