The
hotel
is
situated
at
Victoria
train
station
which
makes
it
a
great
for
walking,
busses,
trains
and
underground.
There
are
several
attractions
(theatre,
Buckingham
Palace,
restaurants,
etc.)
that
are
a
very
short
walk
away.
As
there
is
access
to
all
forms
of
London
transport
within
a
few
minutes
walk
you
can
get
anywhere
within
central
London
very
quickly.
The
hotel
was
beautifully
decorated
with
the
Christmas
tree
and
other
decorations
in
the
reception.
Generally
the
hotel
is
beautiful
with
some
very
nice
period
features.
We
stayed
for
two
nights
and
service
was
generally
OK.
Check
in
took
forever
(queued
for
over
20min)
with
lots
of
staff
walking
about
but
only
one
person
was
dealing
with
check
ins.
Eventually
two
other
persons
joined
him
to
help
reduce
the
queues.
And
this
was
also
the
theme
at
breakfast
lots
of
staff
greeting
you,
etc.
but
only
one
member
of
the
staff
was
only
able
to
assign
you
a
table.
We
only
ever
had
breakfast
at
the
hotel
as
we
had
already
pre
arranged
events
and
restaurants
in
London
so
can
only
comment
on
breakfast.
This
was
generally
very
good
apart
from
the
bacon
which
was
the
worst
I've
ever
had.
It
was
basically
boiled
with
rashers
stuck
together
and
compared
to
the
rest
of
the
breakfast
was
a
very
big
letdown.
There
was
quite
a
good
variety
to
choose
from
the
buffet
which
covered
traditional
English,
continental,
cereals
and
my
son's
favourite
a
pancake
making
machine.
As
with
check
in
there
seemed
to
be
lots
of
staff
rushing
around
and
just
making
the
whole
experience
uncomfortable
as
you're
constantly
having
to
dodge
them
(customer
doesn't
always
come
first!).
The
layout
for
breakfast
was
not
the
best
and
during
the
busy
periods
we
were
having
breakfast
it
was
too
crowded,
if
there
were
less
staff
in
the
way
it
would
of
atleast
helped.
It
just
felt
very
manic
for
what
is
at
the
end
of
the
day
a
buffer.
Apart
from
that
staff
were
always
friendly.
Our
room
was
a
superior
room
which
was
great
for
a
family
(one
king
size
bed
and
a
sofa
bed).
The
room
was
very
clean
and
we
had
a
complimentary
mini
bar
which
had
a
good
selection
of
snacks
and
drinks.
Beds
were
very
comfortable
and
generally
the
hotel
was
very
quiet.
It
is
very
difficult
to
recommend
the
hotel
only
because
of
the
choice
you
have
in
London.
I've
stayed
in
other
hotels
with
far
superior
service
and
were
a
lot
cheaper.
Location
wise
the
hotel
is
brilliantly
situated
and
that
is
a
big
positive.
If
I
were
to
stay
again
I
would
definitely
skip
the
very
expensive
stressful
breakfast
and
go
to
one
of
the
many
places
within
a
few
minutes
walk
of
the
Claremont.
