We stayed at The Clermont for 6 days and it was really nice. The hotel itself is a bit getting on in years but with nice rooms (really small bathrooms), a very good bar and restaurant and a really friendly service. Breakfast was really crowded sometimes but that's not the hotel's mistake. You had time slots for that. Unfortunately not every lounge area or bar was open during our stay but the hotel was definitely worth the money. Location with an own entry to Victoria station was excellent.

Very happy with our stay. The location is great, close to many attractions. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived in London very early and luckily our room was ready so we were able to check in on arrival. The room was spacious and well equipped, with complimentary mini bar. Highly recommend

This hotel is impeccable! The Service, staff and rooms are amazing. The rooms are huge and very comfortable, although they overlook Victoria station it really doesn’t matter too much. Very clean. Staff were absolutely delightful and made the stay even more pleasurable. They even surprised us with desserts in our room for my Mum’s birthday! If you get the chance to stay here, do it!

Best hotel we stayed in over the course of our trip. Old word charm with all the mod cons you need. Perfect location in Central London- we walked and got train/ bus everywhere. Perfect rooms and good sized rooms and bathroom also. Staff were excellent and always on hand to assist. Breakfast was buffet style each day and was delicious!! highly recommend the Clermont Hotel you cannot go wrong with this location and the hotel itself is fabulous. 10/10 for us

Superb hotel! Absolutely loved my stay! The bed was extremely comfortable with numerous pillow options! Best of all though we the shower! Best rainfall type shower I've ever had! Such amazing water pressure! I'd skip the breakfast though next time, was just very average.

A large traditionally elegant hotel. We stayed for the weekend, 2 rooms which was spacious with a large beds everything you need minibars well-stocked, very clean and well maintained. The hotel is beautiful and old, not easy to find you way back to the room, got lost a couple of times via the various staircases and lifts. The Soak restaurant and Bar is open until 11pm serving meals and drinks, nice cocktails. There is champagne and cocktail bar, which was also very nice Perfectly located for shows and just a short walk to Buckingham Palace. Excellent location for London sightseeing and right next to Victoria Station. The staff were excellent very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us would highly recommend

Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant place to stay. Spent 2 nights here and it was pure luxury. Got checked in by 10.30am after early flight arrival, dumped bags, went exploring and got room key at 3pm. Room 415 was great, fully stocked snacks, treats and soft drinks, plus a special plate of fruit and cakes from the staff for our 20th wedding anniversary. Ate at 'the soak' in the hotel, amazing food there. Breakfast was also immense, with lots if choice. So close to so many attractions, theatres, pubs, restaurants, tube/train stations. We will be back

A large traditionally elegant British hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe King room, which was spacious with a large bed and all the amenities you need, although the bathroom was quite compact. The hotel itself is sprawling so you can be a fair way from reception via the various staircases and lifts. The Soak restaurant and Bar is open until 11pm serving meals and drinks, with cocktails seemingly the specialty. There is also a separate champagne and cocktail bar. Perfectly located for shows (you can see Hamilton, Wicked from the window) and just a short walk to Buckingham Palace. Excellent location for London sightseeing and right next to Victoria Station.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. We planned to eat in the restaurant on our first evening, however they were fully booked with a conference party. Rosy, the supervisor explained the situation but said she would do her very best to accommodate us, and she did. We had a bit of a wait but the meal was lovely, tasty and hot. Full marks to Rosy and the team. Definitely recommend.

We checked in yesterday for our Christmas London trip. We are family of 3 and our daughter is 5 years old. I booked directly at their website. We had room 107. As the room was beautiful and spacious, I could smell the paint. We went to the reception to let them know about the problem, and the lady said that she'd sent a housekeeping to fix the problem and refresh the room. As it turned out, there were actually painters in the connecting room. And it didn't look like they were finishing any time soon. we were breathing paint fumes for all night long. I woke up with a headache. At the reception, we raised concerns again today and were told that they would change the room by 3pm. At 3 p.m., no room was ready. No apologies were given either. We are now in a different room, smaller and less fancy. But I don't understand how it's even possible to put people in the room next to paint works? Service is not very pleasant. And I won't be staying here again.

The hotel is situated at Victoria train station which makes it a great for walking, busses, trains and underground. There are several attractions (theatre, Buckingham Palace, restaurants, etc.) that are a very short walk away. As there is access to all forms of London transport within a few minutes walk you can get anywhere within central London very quickly. The hotel was beautifully decorated with the Christmas tree and other decorations in the reception. Generally the hotel is beautiful with some very nice period features. We stayed for two nights and service was generally OK. Check in took forever (queued for over 20min) with lots of staff walking about but only one person was dealing with check ins. Eventually two other persons joined him to help reduce the queues. And this was also the theme at breakfast lots of staff greeting you, etc. but only one member of the staff was only able to assign you a table. We only ever had breakfast at the hotel as we had already pre arranged events and restaurants in London so can only comment on breakfast. This was generally very good apart from the bacon which was the worst I've ever had. It was basically boiled with rashers stuck together and compared to the rest of the breakfast was a very big letdown. There was quite a good variety to choose from the buffet which covered traditional English, continental, cereals and my son's favourite a pancake making machine. As with check in there seemed to be lots of staff rushing around and just making the whole experience uncomfortable as you're constantly having to dodge them (customer doesn't always come first!). The layout for breakfast was not the best and during the busy periods we were having breakfast it was too crowded, if there were less staff in the way it would of atleast helped. It just felt very manic for what is at the end of the day a buffer. Apart from that staff were always friendly. Our room was a superior room which was great for a family (one king size bed and a sofa bed). The room was very clean and we had a complimentary mini bar which had a good selection of snacks and drinks. Beds were very comfortable and generally the hotel was very quiet. It is very difficult to recommend the hotel only because of the choice you have in London. I've stayed in other hotels with far superior service and were a lot cheaper. Location wise the hotel is brilliantly situated and that is a big positive. If I were to stay again I would definitely skip the very expensive stressful breakfast and go to one of the many places within a few minutes walk of the Claremont.

Hotel is very cold...they heat the rooms, but the hallways and rest of the hotel is very cold. The bath water taps would not run hot, so we heated water in the tea kettle to add to the bath. Room service ends at 10:30p.m., which surprised us as most "4 star" hotels in metropolitan locations such as London, usually offer room service after the restaurant closes. Tried to get a bottle of wine after midnight and told to call Uber Eats (which we've never used before and could not make this work when we tried). Told we (and our friends also staying here) would be charged for another night if we checked out early to find a warm and real "4 star" hotel. Very disappointed. Will never stay here again. And will tell our friends to do the same. We even considered seeking legal assistance so we can leave without being punished financially. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Well we booked two deluxe King rooms 6 months ago. We requested adjoining rooms as we are travelling with children. We get here the rooms are close however only one king room. After asking the manager to come to the room to humour me and show me how the second room was king sized ( we can't open 2 suitcases and the bed is clearly smaller) he said he won't. I personally work with over 20,000 customers per year in my business and I treat each of them better than the reception I got tonight. We have five nights here I hope they get it right tomorrow!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience staying for 3 nights at the beautiful Clermont Victoria over the Christmas holidays. Staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was nicely appointed, room service was wonderful, location was fantastic. Complimentary mini-bar was a super nice touch! Great gesture by the hotel to hang a stocking with candies and a balloon outside our door on Christmas Eve for our daughter. Couldn't be happier with the experience.

An amazing hotel stayed here last week for 4 nights. From guest arrival and checking in we felt so welcome. The process was quick and smooth our room was ready early so the team let us check in. The room was beautiful and larger than we have previously stayed in in London. Loved the amenities and the pillow menu which was available. Breakfast selection and to the team in the Breakfast room outstanding the supervisor Becky was running her team well and greeted everyone with a smile 😃. Location is key in London at the Claremont has it all direct access to Victoria train station, tube and central bus hub...you can get anywhere. We will certainly be back next time we are in London. Thank you Team outstanding hotel.

Lovely hotel, perfect location and top notch staff. We stayed here for two nights midweek after getting married, and the whole experience was perfect. The hotel decor and design are exquisite, being perfectly located for transport links, shows, and a range of wonderful attractions and restaurants. The staff here really go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is perfect - nothing was too big a request and staff genuinely cared and made you feel welcome and special.

Best hotel! I stayed here in June 2023 for a special trip with my mum. From the minute you walk through the doors it is breathtaking. The staff were welcoming and so helpful throughout out our stay. It is very central and has easy access to busses, trains, and taxi's. Also lots to see in walking distance. Buckingham Palace is only a 13 minute walk away. Just amazing! I highly recommend it and would stay here again in a minute.

The hotel is beautiful, amazing decorations and beautiful lobby. One part of staff is wonderful, and others are just bothered to reply you. Especially in the restaurant I didn’t feel welcomed. Some really basic amenities are missing from the rooms, such as mats for the bathroom floor, cotton pads or body lotion. The breakfast didn’t have a lot of varieties , with a limited selection of fresh fruit, Turkey/Chicken and not even a black bread. The waiter didn’t know how to prepare a latte coffee. I liked my room, was spacious and comfortable (the first one they gave me was smaller and with no views), clean and their bedsheets was super soft. All of this said, the obvious part is also the great location of the hotel - super central if you're looking to tour around main parts of London.

Beautiful, clean, friendly Hotel. Every employee was nicer than the next. The restaurant/ bar located in the Hotel provided a nice assortment of food and drinks. This great location was close to many of the places we wanted to visit and right out the back door was the bus and subway stations. I most definitely would recommend this very classy hotel !

Outstanding hotel with a beautiful historic atmosphere, absolutely everything we could have wanted, down to the little details such as underfloor heating in bathrooms. Beautiful reception area and rooms, incredibly comfy bed, very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was included and completely exceeded our expectations in both range of food offered and quality. We ate in the restaurant which was great and even received complimentary drinks. Absolutely wonderful would be delighted to stay again, thank you.

Stayed here for a night with our 3yo. Very welcoming staff. Quite a large hotel, we were on the 7th floor in the wings which meant 2 lifts to get here, but the views were stunning from up here! Due to the height the water in the shower took a while to warm up but as we weren’t in a rush it wasn’t an issue. Very well situated hotel. We received 3 “coins” when we arrived which got us 3 drinks from the bar for free which was a nice start to our evening. Gorgeous entrance hall to the hotel too

It was nice experience to stay at this hotel , I really liked the Victorian theme and the design. Room size was good, our room was clean, the carpets are old and should be replaced. Staff were supportive and nice. The location is close to Victoria station . No parking in-front of the hotel , cars park on the opposite side but the staff can support you with the luggage.

Our room was small, but the bed was comfortable & the shower /tub had great water pressure & the candy & snacks were nice. The gym was pretty good! Staff was wonderful! Location couldn't have been better!

Really nice hotel which looks like it has recently being refurbished. It is literally part of Victoria train station so very handy for trains. Rooms were very modern and decorated to a high spec. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given two tokens for a complimentary drink at the bar which was a nice touch plus there were complimentary water, soft drinks and sweets in our room. Our rate included breakfast which we had delivered to our room for no additional cost. Full English was excellent. Only one of the hotel bars was open (COVID) but there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.

I stayed a few days and nights here in 2018 (when it was called the Grosvenor) before meeting friends in another part of the city. Nice people; clean and comfortable rooms; lovely old building; and you can't do better in the way of location. STAY HERE.

The Clermont hotel was the perfect place to stay in London! Around the corner from the Victoria Station and walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Westminster, and Parliament Square. It’s a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, a great rainfall shower, good restaurant, gorgeous lobby, free mini bar with snacks replenished daily, and the most helpful, friendly, and courteous staff ever. We can’t say enough about what a great stay we had there and will surely return anytime we come back to London.

We had tea time at The Clermont and it was absolutely wonderful! We are from The U.S. and could not have asked for a better first experience in London! Lumi was so inviting and friendly, just a very lovely person to be around. The tea room was one of the prettiest places I’ve ever seen and the food and tea were fantastic! We will absolutely be returning on our next trip. Thank you so much for an excellent tea time!

Fantastic location, next to Victoria station. Allowed to check in early, our toddler was issued with a complimentary teddy bear, room was fresh, clean and had complimentary drinks in fridge and token for free drink each, in bar. Comfortable night's sleep, sofa bed was prepared already. Breakfast was a buffet with great selection, full English. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful reception and communal areas. On check out they were happy to store our luggage until pickup later the afternoon. All and all a great experience staying at this hotel and I would recommend it!

The hotel was located in a very central spot which made it very convenient for touring via public transit from London Victoria. The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The rooms must have been renovated as they appeared a lot more modern than the rest of the hotel’s common areas. There is a good-sized fitness centre on the 7th floor which was also very nice (equipped with free weights and cardio equipment). It was a bit noisy at night but that is to be expected with a hotel in that location. It was excellent value for our stay.

Couldn’t recommend this hotel more! Extremely clean, quiet and just as pictured on the website. The food at the soak is delicious. The location is great for hitting the main attractions, beautiful parks and different neighborhoods. There’s always cabs available, and you can get most places on foot. Breakfast is a bit pricey for what it is, but it’s a great option for early mornings or a basic breakfast. Would stay here again.

I stayed here over the Easter weekend with my girlfriend for her birthday and we loved our stay. We stayed in 301 and we was very impressed on how quiet the room was considering Victoria station was right out side our window. The room was very clean and beautiful, enjoyed our refreshments in our room. Brilliant breakfast choice and the hotel is stunning. I also asked my girlfriend to marry me whilst at the hotel. We will certainly be back

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful, but you really get very little for what you pay for - room sizes are extremely small and in practice very cramped, and some really basic amenities are missing from the rooms, such as mats for the bathroom floor after you shower or body lotion. The gym is also really small with a very limited selection of equipment to use (no free weight rack). All of this said, the obvious part is also the great location of the hotel - super central if you're looking to tour around main parts of London.
