The food quality was exceptional, however it is not cheap. The staff were very friendly and professional. The service was very quick and décor dark but tasteful, it has a very good atmosphere and buzz about it. The food was exceptional, starters were on point, even the coleslaw tasted fresh and unique. The belly pork was soft and fell apart. The main steaks (we shared) were perfectly cooked and the sides we had were amazing. We had a house red and it complimented the meal perfectly. We also had there old fashioned cocktails and they had a single large ice cube (how it is meant to be done!). When you paying for expensive meal it needs to be this quality! Everything was on point. My only criticism would be the garlic mushrooms could have been a bit better (how, I don't know). But everything else was perfect. Overall I would recommend!

Went tonight for a friend’s birthday and was massively impressed Service was absolutely top notch, couldn’t fault any of them… it’s a really cool place.. whether to treat yourself or a special occasion it’s hard to fault it.. And all this before I even get to the food… superb!! Absolutely fantastic… steak was like cutting through butter and all of the sides were super tasty!! Really really would recommend

We visited for the pre launch and enjoyed drinks in the downstairs bar. The ambience was good. The DJ was also very good playing a selection of Dance and Ibiza anthems. Not to keen the seating arrangements in the downstairs bar. The booth style seating and tables were very cramped.

Delicious starters, we ordered the Rib-eye for two and it was juicy and tasty. Great vibes and service. Super recommend. We will be back.

Great and friendly service from the moment you step through the door. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the side were amazing. We brought our own wine for the corkage night and they were great at getting bit decanted. Highly recommended.

Good wine selection, a good selection of different cut of steaks. We had the chateaubriand, which was good quality and cooked to perfection. However, the steak and the sides were a bit saltier, but lacked flavour. Oysters were fresh and sweet. it has a nice atmosphere and lovely FOH.

Great meal, even for vegetarians! The triple cooked chips are truly fantastic (I’ve been waiting 7 years to eat here again after a previous trip to London), the cocktails are amazing as usual, and service impeccable. The ricotta dumplings were very nice with a green, garlicky sauce and beautiful asparagus. And of course, the sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream - one of the greatest desserts I’ve ever had. Truly outstanding meal - whenever returning to London I will be sure to dine here again.

This pickle booked the wrong Hawksmoor restaurant but the ladies on the reception were lovely and soon sorted and booked us a table. We started with some cherry 🍒 sours which were excellent. The menu offers loads that I would have happily eaten, we settled on the roasted Scallops to start which were divine. For the mains I opted for the fillet which was perfectly cooked and cast iron steak with roasted onions and bone marrow. Sides mash potatoes and spinach in lemon and garlic which were superb. Service was quick and we enjoyed our meal. The service of our waiter was a little lacking. We would have liked a children’s offering in the menu.

We had such good fun at our Christmas meal. Given that it's a steak restaurant and I am vegetarian, they provided me with a fabulous meal. We had such a great time. The staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

We had a great team meal here. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was exceptional. We had loads of steak, lobster, fish salad, Caesar salad, chips and other sides. It was really delicious! See my pics for more info.

The meat and sides and wine list were all impressive! We loved the English greens and Mac n cheese. For meat we had chateabriand and rump, both great. Would be nice if you could order smaller portions of the meats to try more. They’re very strict on the time limit for the table to the point of aggressive so arrive on time.

Fabulous and cozy atmosphere- freshly cooked delicious food and I certainly recommend the Sunday roast. Plenty of drinking choice. Won’t be disappointed at this venue and service is nothing less than first class

Really great experience here. We went for Sunday roast for my birthday. Service was great from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, but there were some points I think they could have been more attentive. For example, when we wanted to order dessert, once we had the menu no one came to take our dessert order, so I ended up changing my mind and didn't order dessert. Also, when we wanted to bill to leave. It took a while to get anyone's attention. While this might be minor, it did dampen the otherwise fantastic service. The food, wow! It's simple, but to perfection. Every item was spot on, not too busy on the plate, perfect portion. The roasted garlic was a great touch! It's pricey compared to average Sunday roasts, but honestly you pay a premium for quality, so it's completely worth it. I only wish I had a dessert just to see how good it might have been. Would highly recommend

The food was good, the ceasar salad in particular. The burguer is very greasy, I did not enjoy the intense flavour of English mustard in it, not my favourite. The service was really great. Prices are very expensive for a lunch.

The best Sunday Roast you can get! Usual go to Air Street but came to Spitalfields instead. Exactly the same and just as good. Brought my own wine and paid £25 corkage! Will be back again!

Came here on reservation, and had a lovely steak dinner, a couple sides and drinks (including mocktails). It was busy but they resat us at a larger table because I had trouble hearing. Service was impeccable. They also give chocolates with a cute candle for birthdays on a split second. They ran out of porterhouse or charcuterie, but the large T-bone (800 g/ 30 oz) was cooked to medium! It could have used additional salt and possibly butter/ garlic. Otherwise, great char and hits the meat cravings.

Had an express 2 course lunch. First course smoked mackerel salad was excellent, exactly how it should be. The main course was 35 day aged rump, added bone marrow gravy. Medium rare. A good steak. Felt that the bone marrow was a tad heavy, I would skip it in the future. Given a complementary ginger cold drink, punchy, pretty refreshing. Solo lunch on a Saturday, booked via website. Seated quickly, service was good.

Had Sunday lunch here late last year after our fab experience at Hawksmoor Seven Dials. Not disappointed, very busy so booking essential. Great food, drinks and service top notch. Can't wait to try another Hawksmoor. Is there a loyalty card??

Quality food and service. The steak (sirloin 400g) is excellent and cooked to perfection. I wouldn't expect anything less being a steakhouse! The seafood entrees were also delicious. We got the scallops and Devon crab on toast (pictured). Thank you for the complimentary treat that night.

🩵Best Sunday roast I have in London! The service was friendly, he kindly explained the food to me when I looked confused, and at the end, I ordered Sunday Roast which was not my first choice. I was so impressed with the quality of the Sunday Roast compared to others I’ve tried. The beef was pink but not feel raw at all, tender and juicy. The Yorkshire pudding was soft inside and crispy outside. The veggies were flavoured and warm enough, and the gravy was perfect, tasted a bit red wine(? I am not quite sure about this) The time we went was quite busy so sometimes it took times to get the table service but it was notable that they were trying to serve as quickly as they could.

My son booked us in for a Sunday Roast for my birthday visit to London. Booking is essential on Sundays I believe! He’s always told us this is the best roast he’s found so we were looking forward to our visit! The staff, venue and food were great including a surprise birthday finish - photo attached. Such a lovely experience ☺️👌

Good food, good service. Came at 8:30 Monday night. Busy but got seated quickly, starters came out on time. Extensive wine menu, great steaks.

The steaks are so succulently cooked we were scratching our heads as to how we can’t get anywhere close at home. Service was excellent - attentive and friendly without being bothersome. Having not visited since before lockdown it was a pleasant surprise to be reminded of how good a meal they serve. One for discerning carnivores.

The decor of the restaurant is art decor style, which gave the place slightt retro feel. Staff is very engaging and gave good suggestions when sought. Always checking in on you while not being intrusive. Sunday roast was a pleaser with the beef pink and tender with a thin layer of salt. The gravy, whicn was salty on its own yet complement the stuffing. Sides of carrots, vegetables and garlic round up the meal. One of the best Sunday roast in town, in my opinion. Horseradish was slightly sweet and gave the roast beef a fragant aftertaste. The restaurant lives up to its reputation as a fantastic steak place.

This well-reputed establishment offers a choice between roast beef or a selection of meats roasted to your preference. We opted for the succulent roasted Chateaubriand, a decision we didn't regret! What truly elevated our meal were the trimmings. We feasted on deliciously roasted carrots, perfectly sautéed greens, and impeccably roasted potatoes. And let's not forget the traditional Yorkshire pudding, the roasted garlic, and, of course, the gravy – each element contributing to a perfectly harmonious dish. The standout, however, was the meat, which was cooked to absolute perfection. The level of culinary mastery at Hawksmoor was evident in every single bite. The service was nothing short of excellent – friendly and helpful, enhancing our overall dining experience. A special shoutout to the best Bloody Mary I've ever had - a fiery blend of vodka, green tomato juice, and jalapeño - simply yum! Set against a backdrop of exposed brick interiors and decked with leather and wood furnishings, Hawksmoor creates a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a comforting Sunday roast dinner.

Friday night dinner reservation, they had a coat check and we were sat promptly. Bustling inside and the service was wonderful. We were unsure of the wines we wanted to drink so had a few tasters to choose and the recommendations and descriptions by our waiter were spot on. Didn’t feel pretentious but still a nicer environment, it also felt warm and inviting by the people around us. We ordered a lobster, medium rare rump with bernaise sauce, caesar salad, lemon garlic spinach and fries. Everything was delicious and exactly what I thought it was going to taste like.

Overall is okay but not the best Sunday toast in my mind! Had Sunday roast for lunch, and the beef steak is cooked well, tender and meaty! But some vegetables are just okay, they should be roasted or grilled. Fried is good and the staffs are friendly.

Always a 5 star when we come here From start to finish you are looked after. The cocktails are very well made. The food is always hot and very good quality produce. Extremely tasty. Cant fault it

Friendly staff and was knowledgable on the different types of steaks, went for the recommendation. Perfectly cooked rare medium chateaubriand 450g steak to share. Bone marrow, crab on toast, Triple cooked chips, mac & cheese, seasonal greans, for dessert peanut butter cookie and ice cream all delicious except for mac&cheese overly salty that I couldn't eat it without the greens. Ambiance very low lighting and busy and buzzy. Had 2 hour seating was plentiful but they were slow to take dessert order and slow to serve.

My favourite steakhouse chain in London. Food is outstanding from starters (Devon Crab Toast) to main course (300g fillet) to dessert (Chocolate mousse as well as summer-fruit crumble). Waiters were super attentive and accommodating when we wanted to change tables due to A/C. Excellent red wine menu too (2018 Boa Esperança, Portugal). Only not perfect point is the atmosphere in the Spitalfields venue, albeit subjective, as I prefer the Covent Garden/Seven Dials location. The restaurant accepts both cash (including £50 bank notes) and cards. Would recommend booking in advance and would highly recommend going again! Just superb!

My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday dinner and the whole experience was amazing. The food was incredible, everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. There wasn't anything I could fault. The service was also lovely, our server Enea was especially friendly and delightful. They even treated us to two birthday cocktails! Can't wait to return.

The service was very good however the food was underwhelming. Having wanted to come here for a while and hearing so many good things unfortunately shelling out 170quid for a couple of cocktails and a half decent sirloin and a fillet of sea bream had me leaving feeling really short changed. It was a good cut of sirloin but for £50 just for the meat I’d expect it to be soften being a matured piece of steak. The fillet of fish was very plain and being a tiny one side of fillet for £24… the fries were over cooked and hard and the cheesy mash was just mash with a slice of Camembert lying on top.

Fillet & Rump at 📍 @hawksmoorrestaurants Rating: 🤩 Delicious but need to explore new places instead Thoughts 💭 The express menu is very reasonably priced at £22 each for 2 courses. We got the rump and fillet both cooked to perfection. That perfectly crisp exterior and rare in the middle. The sides were a bit dry and the sauces available weren’t in abundance. The desserts were pretty good too especially the sticky toffee sundae.

Absolute class! 👌 Great atmosphere friendly staff and a fantastic meal. I had the 300g Porter House with sides of creamed spinach and ceasar salad. We stumbled in without a reservation and the staff was incredibly accommodating and provided us with a table. The best old english style Amaretto Sour drink (with egg white on top) that I had on our trip. Very worthy of your time to have a meal here if you happen to be in the area.

We ordered the scallops and the half lobster for starters, really nice, some lovely cocktails🍹 and then mains. Sadly my chateaubriand didn't came med-rare so had to wait another 15min(I don't mind the waiting, it's the waste😞) but other than that it was a very pleasant night, the 2nd one came perfect. Also the staff members were really attentive and kind 😊

Finally got to try this place after requesting vouchers for my birthday (we're not local to London). Nice environment, it was clear everyone was having a good time. Pork belly ribs were sticky and delicious. Rib eye cooked to perfection and the stichelton hollandaise was awesome. Hosts were incredibly attentive and even sent out a sticky toffee pudding on the house for my belated birthday. Would definitely be back for a treat.
