Got the mapo tofu with pork and it was quite tasty! There are several other Szechuan meals on their menu that I'd like to try. Service was great and the food came out quickly.

Group of 5 sat in for dinner. 2 courses for £25 a head. Really lovely and freshly made. Wish I'd found this before and highly recommended. High compliments from my group. Food ranged from crispy duck to seaweed. I'll happily go back.

We had been wanting to try here ever since we moved to Waterloo! Heard so many good things about it! We finally got the chance on Chinese New Year - we got a takeaway, food was fantastic - service was very polite on picking up and had a nice chat with the lady behind the counter!! Will deffo go again and hopefully sit in to eat!! Can’t believe it took us so long to try!!

Went with three other friends and was so happy that we found this place! All menus we ordered were tasty and such a good value !!!!! All foods came out super quick, it took them only around 5 -10 minutes.! Highly highly recommend Treasure Rice and Mapo Tofu! All other ones were very tasty as well 😋 I will definitely come back to enjoy their yummy Chinese food again soon😇

Nice little restaurant. I was surprised that you had to wait partly for a table and outside even a small queue has, formed. The service was fast and friendly, and the food did not take long. The range of dishes was quite sufficient, and there were enough offers for vegetarians and vegans. The food tasted good, but my menu has not totally blown me away now. Overall, however, the price-performance ratio was entirely in order.

Walked past it while we were trying to find a place for a snak before the play. We loved it and we are surely going back. Food was fresh, served quickly, right portions and prices. Service was more than delightful. All in all, we are now looking forward to our next visit!

Big portion with small money Culture Grub is just few mins walk from Waterloo station. I usually go there for lunch before or after meeting because the service is quick and the price is good with huge serving. I was there again for lunch with my colleague before a meeting last week. Culture Grub 📍 84 The Cut, London SE1 8LW WHAT WE GOT 🍗Tokyo Style Fried Chicken 🥟Pork Dumplings 🍲Hot & Sour Soup 🍜Laksa 🥬Stir Fried Mixed Veg Hot & Sour Soup was my fav and I ordered it almost every time. It was loaded with wooden ear, egg drops and meat. I loved the thickness and the hot, spicy & sour flavour were just right. Love it 😍😍😍 Laksa came with lots of ingredients including king prawn, fish cake and vegetables. The broth was flavourful and tasty. Tasty😋😋😋 Tokyo Style Fried Chicken is new on the menu. Chicken thigh was lightly coated and deep fried. Crispy outside and juicy inside. Also, the chicken meat was well seasoned with ginger and soy sauce. Love it😍😍😍 Pork dumpling was so juicy and tasty (Swap to the end to see how the soup leaking out🤤). The filling was flavourful and moist. It’s defo a soupy dumpling. Awesome 😋😋😋 I have been Culture Grub for several times before. The portion is always big and the taste of every dish was consistently good. The staffs are cheerful and attentive. It’s a really good Chinese restaurant in Waterloo.

Great customer service, speedy service too. Affordable prices. But sadly the food wasn’t as good as I was expecting. Egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken was good portions. The vegetable spring rolls tasted off? And I noticed my glass had an odd smell. Four stars as the main dishes were okay & as mentioned, the service was very good. I would return but perhaps try a different fish and avoid the spring rolls

The food is amazing, staff are friendly, and I managed to eat when the staff team were trying some new dishes. To my surprise they made some Hong Kong style 'Pineapple buns' (Bo Lor Bao) which was really good. Hope it gets on the menu! Would recommend a visit for the current menu, or if the timing is right, what new dishes that get on the menu.

Food: very tasty as if we are back in Asia. I don’t think msg was added at all. According to my hubby, the laksa seafood noodles tasted like what he used to have in Burma. I love their **super tender ** beef belly rice. Services: the owner is from HK years ago. Super friendly and patience to introduce the dishes. The waitress is very attentive to guests Atmosphere: best family and friends gatherings place after work.

Great price for decent food. Staff was kind in suggesting portion sizes. Great staff but for the built in service charge, and cost to take away there were too many waits for water refills and the bill.

Was looking for value Asian food nearby Waterloo station and found this one randomly. Surprised with delicious food at good value, recommend salt & pepper deep fry squid and chicken satay! Make me feel travel in Asia! Didn’t take photo for the squid as we finished too quick haha

One of the best Cantonese style food in London without exception. Have followed them since their early days in the dumpling inn ( just down the road). The. At the bigger site which is now culture grub. If you want excellent affordable chinese cuisine in London this is the best place to be. Price, turnover and quality is all excellent Only flaw I would note is that I miss the thick wheat noodles they used to use for the lao mein that is no longer present in the menu. But that is my personal preference at the end of the day.

Got there by coincidece - will come back on purpose. All of the food was great and served very fast. Went with house recommendations and all was delicious. Mandarin ribs and brisket were particularly good, but corn soup and dim sum were excellent as well. Great value for money too. Highly recommended.

Nice friendly place with cheap Asian food. They have a mix of Asian dishes to choose from. They prefer cash payments

Wonderful meal tonight - recommend the hot and sour soup! Only 4* as even for Waterloo found it quite pricy; 2x beers, 1x soup, 1x prawn dish was £35! Really friendly staff though, would still go back.

Really tasty food at affordable prices, extremely quick service. A few of the reviews have said they got "rude" service - we didn't experience any of that. Yes, the servers that take your order and bring you the food are short with their answers and don't sit around to chat with you but the place is SUPER busy at lunchtime - they're just rushed and I'd take that anytime for the speed and quality of service, as well as the size of the portions. The lady who took us to our table was very friendly and smiley too!

Excellent local Chinese takeaway and restaurant. All the classics you want plus some great specials all freshly cooked and with good quality ingredients. Home made prawn toasts worth the visit alone! A cut above your usual neighbourhood Chinese for sure. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. 👍

Our long term favorite Friday post football eatery for tasty Food and Cold beers. Good selection and friendly on the wallet! Always accommodating, even when we turn up on late notice, as part of a large group.
