Stumbled upon this place today and I'm so happy I did!! In this area it's pretty expensive when it comes to vegan spots/options and taste wise, many aren't worth it. This place however has such delicious food and the price is excellent as well. We had the chickpea burger, sweet potato fries, semolina wedges, southern biscuits and the sticky BBQ sauce. Everything was amazing and super flavorful!! I usually hate sweet potato fries but these ones were so scrumptious!! They're breaded with some sort of awesomeness. Last but not least I'd like to point out the customer service. These people are so sweet and really offer a warm welcoming space. I love this place and will be a returning whenever I'm in the area. (Ps, sign the table!!)

This place serves only vegan food. The restaurant is set up more like a fast food joint in both the menu and interiors. Think McDonalds for Vegans and Vegetarians. There's a nice menu and quite a lot to choose from. Which is kind of refreshing for a vegetarian. I had the sweet potato burger and potato wedges which was a mistake because the portion sizes are big. I did't much of the sauce that came with the wedges though. The sauce came in a tiny tub that was just about used up after a few wedges. The staff are lovely.

So happy to have found Marees, had a delicious mix roti today but will definitely be back. Hot, fresh and tasty. Polite and relaxed staff, good atmosphere, nice music, clean and well presented tables. 4.9 rating so you know this place must be one of the best in London! I had to get the gluten free vegan peanut butter cake for after too. I’m not going to swear on here but that was really delicious.

I needed a delicious and filling lunch after a bit of an arduous morning. Not only did this place deliver with a succulent black bean burger and chunky sweet potato fries, but the friendly service I received lifted me out of my mood rut. I left with a full stomach and a full heart.

The location is awful, the decor is drab, but the food! Sensational original blending everything good, vegan (and a bit dirty). Worth popping in for the semolina wedges alone.

Okay hands down, this place has the best variety of vegan burgers I’ve tried. The sauces inside are also a thing of beauty. They’ve also changed the game wish their version of sweet potato fries. The strawberry pancakes are simply amazing too.

Incredible vegan food! They cook a lot of the food in-house and the flavours are all excellent for pretty reasonable prices. They are prepared and happy to do gluten free options for almost everything as well. Would definitely recommend it!

Hands down the BEST vegan place in East London. Amazing selection of burgers, wraps, and sauces (which are made in house) ❤️ Really friendly vibes, killer music and just all round greatness. Have been coming in every lunch time that I can since I first visited a couple months ago, and couldn’t imagine having lunch anywhere else now.
