Excellent exhibitions of the Royal Collection--thought through and well presented. You can convert your ticket into an annual pass, which is well worth it.

Great art work, would recommend for anyone who loves art. Staff were really friendly and had amazing knowledge about questions I had. Free entry for a year as well if you get your ticket stamped so definitely coming back again, as could spend hours staring at the amazing art works in the gallery. And the gift shop had to many deals and items available too. So go check it out if your In the area, it's definitely worth your money.

For me who loves art, this was really worth it and incredible to see. There were set ups off of objects and clothes which were worn at olden times. Beautiful architecture all around the place and beautiful art pieces. It tells you the history of how people used to dress, live and paint. For those who whom are not much interested in big paintings and lots of writing, you’ll probably be there for about 20 mins.

This is not an ordinary place ,but a place which consists of history and the great British past .the price is really affordable and every tourist should pay a visit to this unique British Gallery. Not only do you admire the magnificent premises and priceless sculptures ,but also you can be easily informed about the whole history section by means of headphones and video staff which are provided on the entrance .Moreover ,you must not miss the wonderful souvenirs which are the best gift for your beloved family members or friends and accompany the gallery .Last but not least ,we shall respect that London is the heart of the globe and should be kept clean again and again .

It is a great venue for a day out alone or in the company of friends or family (Covid restrictions allowing). There are many interesting Royal portraits and art by artists with Royal connections. The staff was very helpful and I enjoyed the possibility of visiting the surrounding park too.

We visited during their JAPAN exhibit. The quality of pieces in the Queen's Gallery is on a higher level, even when compared to the wonderful British Museum. While this is a small gallery with an entrance fee, the curated pieces are fascinating and uniquely rare as many of them are pieces gifted between government officials.

It was nice viewing the Japanese exhibition but I thought there would be more to the gallery than just this. Frankly, the website wasn’t very clear what you are getting for the tickets/price. The staff were really lovely though!

(Translated by Google) The Queen's Gallery is the main public art gallery of Buckingham Palace, the home of the British monarch in London. It exhibits the artworks of the Royal Collection in turns. It has its own access facade and always exhibits around 450 works, mainly including paintings and drawings.

Of you like history, this was a brilliant place to visit to see royal fashion from the 1700's, the price comparison for today on some items was enormous. Good commentary via head sets about the paintings and clothes. Well worth a visit, plus get your ticket stamped for a free visit within a year for the exhibition.

We went to the Queens Gallery on a recent trip to London. With the London Pass we only had to go in and buy tickets, and then wait for out time slot. They did do a very good job at giving us options. Especially given there was a wait they told us to go run to the royal mews and back. Something that worked perfectly for our schedule. The actual gallery is pretty small. It was kinda cramped inside, and there were a couple of times I was slightly squished. I do understand why they have to limit entry. Overall the gallery was clean, and well lit. The actual exhibit that was on when we were there was strange. It was mostly all drawings. Worth a visit if you like art, or have already purchased the London Pass, but otherwise I would pass.

Hmm, I didn't like visiting the Queens Gallery in Buckingham Palace for several reasons, the pricing first of all is expensive, even though at first glance it looks like to be a good deal but it's a couple of rooms with pictures, there's no information on why certain pieces were obtained, You walk in and if you've prepaid for the ticket then you simply scan the barcode on the email ticket and then you get moved over to the security section where all of your bags will be inspected before you can leave things in the provided lockers. Some art work were interesting but I don't think it justifies the price and it's somewhere where it's ticked off my list and I know not to come back here again, if you're an art lover then I guess you might enjoy this but it's not my thing.

Worth a visit just to see the artwork. Not my favourite of the three places ( Queen's Gallery, Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace) on the tour you can book but a great look anyway. Quieter of the three. Free guided tour headset. Use it! Recommend looking for the picture on the set rather than trying to follow a set route. A little bit higgledy-piggledy on this one. Hard to find the headset images but aside from that a great historical tour. Seeing the weapons, jewellery and clothing were great so not just art. Quieter than the other places so you can dawdle a bit more and take it in better but if you have booked the three, be mindful of the time. There is the obligatory shop too so you can part with your cash after. There is no cafe in this bit but lots across the road that it doesn't matter.

Absolutely loved going to the Georgian exhibition, I just love that era. The artwork is breathtaking and the other items on display are amazing. Thank you to all of those who keep and preserve these wonderful items for everyone to view. So glad I didn't miss this one! Keep up the great work to everyone involved!

A fascinating exhibition with truly remarkable pieces. Take your time examining the exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail, I was genuinely awestruck. I'm not sure how much restoration has been done, but all of the items looked like they were in original condition, not bad considering some are around 400 years old!

There are always some treasures of art pieces in royal collections, and you can extend a ticket to one year ticket easily. You don’t need to pay extra for audio guides and cloakroom is free too. Also they provide some small talks everyday in the gallery. If you are interested in the painting skills or fun facts, they have extra rooms exhibiting their research findings.

Normally London is bustling with tourists who are enjoying our lovely City. Due to the Pandemic everyone is staying at home, quite rightly so and the areas around Buckingham Palace are normally very crowded at this time of year. So a good time to visit "The Queen's Gallery" and really very interesting with wonderful staff who are all fully trained to help you during your visit. The times are strange at the moment but please come back and visit us in 2021 and see the wonderful sights of London, you will not be disappointed and we very much welcome you as Londoners and will be extremely pleased to see you all back again.

I do enjoy visiting all of London's galleries and museums, and this little one tucked away next to the Palace truly was amazing. Hosting exhibits from the Royal Collection and from other sources - it proved to be quite a pleasant afternoon activity! When I visited, they were currently presenting their exhibit on Russia - with some artworks that frequently show up in historical documentaries and books on the subject of the Romanovs. As a bonus, they also were exhibiting photos from the Crimean War. Audio guides were available for free, and while small, it still took me quite a while to get through, as it was quite easy to just stand there and take it all in

The Queens Gallery is right-sized for exhibitions. Large enough to give a good array, but not so large as to tire one. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the artworks top quality or have a good story. Masterpieces was an array fine paintings (most, but not all, being masterpieces), Flemish and Italian, with a accompanying commentary on a select number.

  • 5/5 Damon M. 2 years ago on Google
Small but intimate gallery. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Also, there's a 1 year free pass for every entry ticket that can be used in the next exhibition - great little place

I particularly visited to see a special exhibition of Holocaust survivors portraits commissioned by HRH The Prince of Wales. Very well laid out, rooms were easy to move around. Good selection of 'Old Dutch Masters' also to be viewed. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Soooo enjoyed our visit to see the holocaust survivor paintings. They were magical. I was very emotional as the painter had captured their very souls. Well worth seeing.

Beautiful immaculate venue. Helpful staff. And most of all, the opportunity to see a collection of paintings in one location, beautifully presented and preserved despite being hundreds of years old.

The Japanese exhibit was very interesting. They had items on display from the 1600's to present day. There was an audio guide that gave a tour and explained the objects. Some of the objects had never been displayed to the public before. Very interesting.

We booked our tickets online to avoid the queue to get tickets. You will still have to queue to go through security. We visited the Japan exhibition, which shows the long standing relationship between the British royal family and Japanese imperial family. It has ancient art pieces including porcelain and lacquer that date from 300 years ago.

  • 5/5 Gloria L. 1 year ago on Google
Currently the Queen’s Gallery has a Japanese exhibition and there is an elite curation of Japanese items (either gifted historically for diplomatic relations or acquired by queen victoria, etc as part of a collection or series of collections). The furniture and wooden jewelry boxes are so exquisite and the lacquer finishes are impeccable! There are also samurai warrior armor and weapons, and japanese artwork including paintings and intricate wall panels made of silk weaves. Utterly amazing! 17 pounds to enter, apparently the ticket is good for a year so u can visit as frequently as u wish (have not verified this, i spoke with a staff member who told me about this).

Went to see the exhibition of Japanese gifts to the British monarchy. Really excellent and left me wanting to know much more - always a mark of a good exhibition in my view! Bonus was if you get your tickets signed at the end you can come back any time over the next year, which turns a bit of an expensive visit into very good value. Will definitely be back to check out more exhibits in the future.

A little expensive (27.50 for a family) compared to many museums in London, many of which are free. This gallery shows some of the works from the Royal Collection and there is often a temporary exhibition that changes about every six months.
