The bridge experience is fabulous! Lots of information, in a fun way, until the catacombs which were terrifying, in a good way! Please don’t go if you have epilepsy though, lots of strobe lighting and crazy sounds, however you can safely go and do everything before the catacombs. Great actors, zombies, and chainsaw crazies along the way! I really enjoyed this. Staff were lovely too. Not allowed pictures inside but I was able to get some just before the experience starts at the entry.

We visited the London Bridge Experience and Tombs on Sunday 8/8/21 and our timeslot was for 12:00. Arrived at 11:45 and was booked in quickly and efficiently. Went down the stairs and waited for the doors to open around 11:55. You go through around 4 different sets with the actors who were great, giving you a bit of gruesome history with a bit of comedy about London Bridge. I would say although the lighting needs to be dark and atmospheric I think the 1st room and the Roman room lighting needs to be adjusted slightly as you couldn't even see the actors faces. After the pub set/scene you are sent into the tombs which I think was around 10mins in duration. Great sets, actors and good fun with a few jump scares but not very scary in my opinion when I compare it to Broadwitch Hauntfests Biometrix scare maze or a house from Tulleys Shocktober fest. All in all a great fun experience and recommend doing. I just expected it to be a bit more scary. Also when I had watched youtube reviews people were saying the duration of the experience was an hour to an hour and 15 mins. It only lasted 40 mins for us so was a lot shorter than expected but still great and we enjoyed it.

I never write reviews, but I had to express the disappointment of this experience. I think it lastest 30 minutes in total, with half of it as a Halloween horror walk experience. Then the whole thing ends abruptly when you get to the other side. People are probably giving 5 star reviews because you can get a free soft drink after. Don't get me wrong, the first half with the actors was good... I thought the whole thing was going to be like that but it wasn't. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I know I am responsible for this but I thought that an attraction that sells children tickets would not cross this line. I took my eleven year old and everything was fine until we reached the pub guy. He warned that if we had a heart condition or were claustrophobic should not proceed and leave at that moment. Well I would like to recommend to split the tickets in two. One up to this moment and adults only from this moment on. Because it was being kinda funny even. But from then on it was hell. There was another group with us, mainly children and 2 teachers with them. One of the girls fainted. My daughter started crying, wanted to go back, running away from it all, but there was no going back. I had to make her go on through the most terrifying experience of her life. She thought she would dye several times. As a mother I wish I’d never made her go through this hell. It is, in a historical sense, interesting to go up until the bar tender. The rest does not add anything, should be forbidden to children and only teaches you about panic emotions. Sometimes in a crowd.

It was excellent. Great entertainment and I highly recommend visiting when in London. I think that if you don't go and visit the tombs the experience would not be as good to be honest. It has to be done

Well worth a visit. Historical and informative. It can be scary towards the end, but you do get a warning first.

Went there with my friend on a Wednesday afternoon, we were the only ones at the 3 pm show. The show was very professional and lasted around 40 minutes. The horror pit was really scary! I think it was scarier because it was just tje two of us. Props to the actor for being so professional for a show for 2 people. Definitely recommend and will visit again!

The entrance is under the bridge. The actors were very realistic throughout the experience and provided a lot of detailed information about the history of the bridge and the surrounding area. We scared each other a few times, it was fun. Definitely not for timid people. Taking photos is prohibited inside, the two pictures are from the waiting area.

I would definitely recommend a visit to The London Bridge Experience! I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It's well put together, and the tombs tour is well worth it! The actors are brilliant (especially Tim 😉), staff are very friendly. Would love to have enjoyed a drink before the tour, but maybe that's just me, maybe it was a little early 🤭. Well I am on holiday!!

This was absolutely the best experience I had during my time in London. The show itself was absolutely scary, in a good way! You can tell the people working here are very happy and enthusiastic. If you go here, ask for Cheeky Charlie, he is incredibly nice and a loveable person. Matter of fact, he was the reason we went there in the first place. Love you Cheeky Charlie!

The beginning of the visit to this attraction is promising. Lots of interesting tidbits about the more macabre side of the bridge's history. I just want to mostly warn people that the final leg of this journey is a "haunted house" style jump-scare type of experience that is not like the rest of the tour. If you do not like haunted house experiences, end the tour there. They do not stress enough how claustrophobic and scary this portion can be, they just sort of play it up as if it's part of the allure. If you are into this type of experience, you will probably have fun.

A fun place to visit and get a little dosage of scare. The place is close to the Burroughs market and right underneath the London Bridge. We were allowed to go in 2 hours earlier than the reserved time and it maybe due to no crowds and in fact there was no one at that time slot. There is a big bar/tavern inside and restrooms. The show consists of 2 parts with the history, narration covering the first part and the scary/horror experience as the second part. The second part is optional but I would recommend it for those that don't mind the usual horror experience. The first part was not interesting or entertaining as there is not much to add to it. A good way to spend a couple of hours if you have time and are willing to spend money on the tickets for a bit of horror.

I had an absolutely amazing time. Me and my daughter visited today as a spur of the moment. I can honestly say it's really fun. Reasonable price, I'd prefer it maybe a tad cheaper for the length of time, epically price wise for children could be cheaper. The actors are amazing. The history part was just enough for you to take it in and not got bored I felt. The Chapel was amazing. The bar scene with Jack the ripper was amazing and I love how they stay in character to give your guidelines. So my 8 year old braved the tombs, to which she absolutely loved but did cry at one particular actor which was funny for me. She's already said she wants to go again. For me I've been 4 times before and still return. Great 30 mins.

Wow…I wasn’t expecting it to as scary as that!!! I took a 9 and 7 year old and I think in our little your group there wasn’t many left crying at the end 😂 the staff were lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed it! A must for a London visit if you enjoy being frightened!!

I went there as I was approached by Matt outside recommending the place and offering a small discount. I did not really plan to visit it this time, so well done to him for selling it to me in a friendly manner. What made me rate it so low is that discount was not honoured, moreover I was actually sold two adult tickets even though I was clearly with a child. I only noticed that at home when checking receipt. Something clearly went wrong and left me unhappy with a whole experience. I will not allow anyone else to grab me off the streets anymore.

We came as a family with 2 seven year olds. We liked that they included the children in parts that were scary, but they used adults for the scary bits. We all had a really great time and it was good to link in with what the children had learned at school. Recommend for other families with older children but note that there is a ride at the end that has a height requirement, which sadly our children were just short of, but still an amazing time!

I hate to say because the people working there were delightful, but this was truly awful. I’m so confused by the positive reviews. The history was boring and the acts were cheesy. The haunted house part was so stupid. Not scary at all and just such a waste of time and money. I would have forgiven the dumb haunted house if the history had been interesting. For example, we went in a chapel where the guide talked about witches. Why was that chapel there, when was it built, and for what purpose?? I have no idea, but suspected witches were sometimes thrown into the Thames. There was a skeleton under a plexiglass hole in the floor. Never talked about. Was it real, was the person important? Were these rooms we were in really used back then at all? No idea. But I do know a man’s willie was removed before he was disemboweled. Overall, I’m so bummed we wasted the time and money to do it, and hope I can save one person from it. Just skip it.

Special thanks go to the wonderful ladies at the front of house who honoured my tickets after being unable to make our allotted time slot due to the train strikes and delays. It’s a good mixture of family friendly/historical learning as well as downright terrifying fun! The maze and catacombs at the end were genuinely frightening and the only thing that got me through was telling myself they couldn’t touch the audience. So don’t go through it if easily scared! The actors put on a great show and interact with the audience wonderfully- both with children and adults. There is one room in the maze at the end with very intense strobe lighting, so beware if you suffer from epilepsy or light sensitivity, because it was a lot to handle.

Informative and entertaining! I definitely learned a few things, such as how to cook and garnish a decapitated head to keep the birds away and the juices in. The actors have a script to follow, and aren't able to improvise. It's understandable as they have a timetable/schedule to keep to; but it would be nice if the actors could interact with and react to the visitors. The 'tombs' after the experience are good fun. It involves a lot of darkness, and strobe lighting, and wobbly floors, and the same few actors looming and jump scaring. The modified chainsaw is diesel powered which is unwise in an enclosed environment with poor ventilation. They should find a way to run a chainsaw without the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, and without it smelling so bad. Altogether a great time, definitely do it if you can.

This was way more fun than I anticipated. Not only do they have a really cool tavern to chill in with a few cold ones while waiting for your tour, but the tour itself was also quite entertaining. Better than your average haunted house. Definitely recommended. We didn't have to wait very long at all even when buying tickets on site. I'm not sure if we were just lucky or what. We were there in late afternoon on a weekend in August.

Fun little activity worth checking out. Had a good time with this. We brought our 5 year old and he did a good job, probably wouldn't recommend it for small children still. Staff was all very friendly and the experience was worth checking out.

This experience was underwhelming and in the end turned out to be a gimmick aimed at getting a scream out of you. The actors worked very hard and to be fair did a good job. I was hoping to learn more about the historical significance instead of feeling like I was in a theme park fright night style experience. It was okay if you haven't been to other similar types of attractions before otherwise you will be left wondering what the fuss was about.

Not worth the money! Not interactive, quite boring, the actors were as disinterested as we were. I was offered a discount on the street but it was still over £55! A treat for my children during the Easter holidays, wish I hadn’t bothered! Felt very rushed, we were out within 40 minutes! Don’t waste your money!

It was very fun!! The tombs were rather creepy and made me jump loads!! Highly recommend. Actors were very enthusiastic. Do not recommend for children. Value: I paid £25 per ticket. With the tombs scare maze I feel it was value for money. However some people in the group (with children) opted out of the scare maze therefore their experience was around 15 minutes. I feel it would be best for a reduced rate without for those who do not want to do the scare maze. The whole experience took around 30 minutes for the whole experience.

Really fun experience, the first part was interesting, (but not up quite to London dungeons) but the second part, the tombs were so much fun, totally worth it, the actors delivered the scares really well, definitely raised my heart rate and laughed the whole way through, brilliant fun. My 11 year old loved it, but I wouldn't advise younger kids do the tombs...they are scary in the best sort of way, but I thought too scary for any younger.

Good experience - the horror maze was very effective and absolutely loved the decor! Only down side is it’s a historical site but I wouldn’t have known it by visiting there(unless I’m being dense)! I learnt more about the history of the place reading the reviews afterwards than when visiting it. For me it would’ve been nice to see/learn a bit more based around the plague pits and catacombs. But regardless it was well worth the money if you’re in for a scare.

10/10 Fantastic experience! All staff were absolutely lovely, you really can tell how much work has been put into the tour. I ,unfortunately dropped my jumper somewhere along the dark tunnels - and I (embarrassingly) asked if there was any way to find it. The response was kind and understanding and they immediately asked their colleagues to begin looking. Just when I thought my jumper was gone forever - the staff located it and rang us probably within 10/15min :) would certainly recommend to a friend!

Was expecting more history to be discussed. First half is more like a story, interesting but was expecting something different I suppose. The actors were great though, very engaging. The second half is just the haunted house, my wife got prettied scared but if you don't scare easily it won't bother you

Spoiler warning: I’ve been dying for years to go to the London Bridge Experience & London Tombs and I have to say, I was disappointed. Especially paying £50 for tickets (for me and my partner). First of all, it was too dark. So dark in fact, a lady in our group tripped over a step that no-one mentioned to be mindful of as it was pitch black and she had to forfeit the rest of the experience as she took quite a fall. The first half was okay. Very rushed. The actors were amazing though. The first scene you’re in some office of a guy who I believe built London Bridge, the second scene was Roman times, third Thomas Beckett Chapel, then Great Plague/Fire of London and the last scene being Jack The Ripper. We spent only about 3-5 minutes in each setting expecting something out of the ordinary to happen to scare us. But all that happened was some background on the history of the scene and then immediately rushed off to the next part of the show. The second half is the Experience and this one I actually enjoyed. I was absolutely terrified (we were the first ones to go into the maze) and it was great. But it was only 15 minutes, but I loved it and actually wish the whole experience was this whole maze nightmare. The actors were great, the atmosphere absolutely terrifying and brilliant. But again, some settings were just too dark that I actually was too worried about walking into something that could’ve posed a H&S problem. Overall, it only lasted 45 minutes when it says on the website is about an hour or so, and felt a bit underwhelmed. Glad I tried it, but doubt I’d come back.

Personally, I wouldn't book the experience again because your English has to be very good to understand everything. (Also consider the British accent). In the first part you are guided through different rooms, the actors do a great job. Unfortunately, as I mentioned, I wasn't able to get anything out of the story or theme and perhaps I didn't really understand the English humor either. The second part, which leads through the "scary corridor", is certainly frightening for the first few people who lead the group, as it is sometimes pitch black and there are surprising effects. Because you have to hold on to each other's shoulders and walk behind each other, the effect for those who walk in the middle is virtually gone, as you have already noticed from the first people that something is coming.

It wasn’t really explained to us what was going to happen in the toombs, I was under the impression we just be walking round a historical building being told what was what, but this was more of a horror house than anything, the first half of the tour, so boring the characters never finished what they were saying and I was really confused half the time. The second half was absolutely horrendous. Not at all what I thought it was going to be, people screaming in your face jumping out at you. It was so loud and dark, I didn’t like it I turned around to one of the actors,( the chainsaw man) and me and my partner both did a time out signal and said stop we want to leave, and he didn’t stop and carried on wielding his chainsaw in front of us so I couldn’t get out even though the lady the beginning said if you want to come out tell the actors and they will let you out so we had to continue with the tour. I actually have never been so terrified in my life. The tickets were quite expensive for what it was. I suppose you’ve got your moneys worth if you like that sort of thing, but I was under the impression it was a historical tour, telling us about what went Down in the tombs back in the day with a few scary bits - a bit like London dungeons

bought at an xmas present through virgin experience days and the process was really easy from beginning to end. the staff were very helpful explaining the process and lots of options were given to accommodate different people’s needs eg., guardian angel for children. we had lots of fun and had a drink at the bar afterwards.

A fab experience! My friend and I came on a quiet Monday afternoon, and were in a group of only 4 people. The brilliant actors were dedicated, funny, and gave excellent performances in all of the different historical rooms, and the scare actors were perfectly terrifying! We had a fantastic time.

So unbelievably scary. The immersive element really sent a shiver down our spine. 100% better than London Dungeons. Will make this a yearly activity for Halloween

Went on a quiet Tuesday afternoon and was just the two of us on the tour. The attraction is geared for larger groups and must have been challenging to still perform the show to just 2 of us. Huge credit to everyone involved because it was brilliant and despite only being 2 of us they all gave it max effort and as a result we really enjoyed it. A big thankyou to all the employees

Went to the horror maze yesterday, all round good fun. Lovely bar at the end of the tour with table tennis, pool & pub games. Can't beat a pint in a beer stein!

  • 3/5 itz c. 5 months ago on Google
The scary bit is great and the staff are lovely and helpful. The history bit is short and dull. The actors tried too hard to be funny with modern day reference in their jokes which took away from the atmosphere. Their accents were more Essex than old London and it felt like they were just going through the motions. This was my second time, first a few years back was much better.

  • 3/5 Chris C. 2 years ago on Google
Overall, the concept and experience were fairly good - with friendly staff on the door and mostly high quality acting throughout. The entire experience was fairly short - probably spent around 45 mins experiencing the attraction, which felt fairly short for the price tag. Our group were a bit confused by the ending of the attraction. After completing the scare-maze style section of the attraction, we followed the arrow directional signs to the exit, which seemed to lead to the toilets of the Creams dessert shop? There were no members of staff around to say that it was the end of the tour - so we initially thought that we had exited through a fire escape, however after checking - it seemed that it was the only way out. Not sure if this is the case - or maybe there was usually a member of staff that was missing this time, but it did feel like a very odd way of ending the experience.

Daughter was scared 😱 would be good if they did decidicated tours times for younger children or family's with dimmed lighting . Ideally wasn't there to be scared or for the thrill factors more so for the history or learning experience in our case . So , this sort of option should be available to make it better for all .

I went here in a school trip today and OH MY GOSH MY CLASS ADORED IT! Yes it was terrifying and we were all screaming till our vocal cords ripped but it was totally worth it. The actors were nice and the walkthrough was a blast! We were using eachother as shields and I’m just suprised that my maths teacher went through the walkthrough alone and made it out alive. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Great combination of funny and horror, actors do a great job at making you enjoy your experience too. And surprisingly the food is really good, compliments to the chef, since this isn't a restaurant primarily I wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it was. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The ribs are recommended too. Great value

Me my mum and daughter were looking for this place when we bumped into Matt. He gave us a leaflet and took us straight to the building. He was very nice and friendly and he gave us a offer of £18.50 each which is a lot cheaper than booking online, which we we’re very grateful for. We found the whole experience fantastic we laughed and screamed our way through. The history part was good and the actors made it very funny. Wow what can I say about the tombs, they do warn you before going in, which is good because it’s very dark scary but great fun, the actors really make you jump would definitely recommend a visit.10/10

Total madness. If you want to be scared and chased by chainsaw wielding mad men then this is the place for you. The acting and the experience fully justifies the entry price. Maybe it could be longer but I think people would pass out if they made it any more longer

Came on a slow midweek day with a brave 11 year old and 14 year old. This is very much a haunted-house type experience. That being said, it also has history and pretty good cast of actors who pushed the envelope of scares, but didn't cross the line (never touched us, but got very close and loud). They offer a drink if you leave a review, but we were in a hurry and I left this later. Have a frightful good time.

Very veeery fun experience. The sets are amazing, actors a lot of fun, and you learn a couple of things. No waiting time (and worst case scenario, you can just chill at the bar until it’s your turn). Strongly recommend doing this with the London pass, gives you 20% off on the restaurant.

  • 5/5 Abigail KL T. 1 year ago on Google
The actors were really great and engaging. We only came here because it was included in our London pass. The whole experience is split into two parts The 1st part is the historical part with lots of props and story telling to inform you of the history of the London Bridge. The 2nd part is the scary part which if you do not want to participate, you can choose to leave. I am grateful that they have this option as I absolutely hate haunted houses and my sister has walking difficulties and it’s too dark for her to walk To be honest , if you do not like haunted houses, don’t come here. But if you do like haunted houses, I think it’s great!

  • 5/5 Aleksa K. 1 year ago on Google
The actors were amazing, it was definitely worth the money. The scary part was really frightening and fun. Will definitely recommend to people! The only thing I wish they would change is lighting up the really dark corridors at least a little bit, because it was hard to see where you’re supposed to go and you can easily trip and fall. Overall 10/10. Awesome experience.

This is an experience not to be missed. Lots of fun and excitement, learn about the history of the bridges whilst getting in some good entertainment. And don't forget to try out their Fruli Strawberry Beer. Had a Magnificent time.

Booked a time and turned up a few minutes early… it was busy and sold out most of the day and we ended up queueing for nearly an hour. They don’t check the times you’ve booked so it seems to just be first come first in! They also play the same 4 songs over and over and over again… that was probably the most infuriating thing. The tour itself was interesting although I’m a little claustrophobic and there seemed to be zero emergency exits (that might just be me stressing). Some of the guides give real historical info, some just sort of pretend to be a character so was hit and miss how good each was. The horror maze is pretty tame and the group was big so you just sort of shuffle through and unless you’re at the front of back and can create a bit of a gap then the fun surprise element is kind of lost.

The scare maze at the end was good and really well done but the beginning walk through/ experience was boring and had no story line, you just walked into three different rooms and a character was talking about nothing for a few minutes. we booked this as we thought it may be similar to the gunpowder plot experience (Which was amazing). It was not, it was boring and uninformative. was only in there for 30 minutes and that included the scare maze. Waste of money, would not recommend.

Not nearly as informational or as scary as I had hoped. The tour, including both parts, only lasted 30 minutes instead of the 45-60 minutes that’s suggested on the site. The actors were great, and it’s definitely an enjoyable experience. Just wanted a little more from it to get that final star. I’ve done some underground secret history tours before, and have been luck to do some that have a little more meat on the bones. Would still recommend as a fun activity amongst a lot of “stiff” activities in the city. **edited down to a 3; because any place that gives free alcohol in exchange for an “honest” review is a little dodgy imo**

Cheap thrills and horror, I went in with my partner with no expectations and came out rather disappointed. The interactive and voice acted parts were short and sweet, but the last part was full of jump scares and mazes. Not recommended for those faint of heart.

Through the London Pass, we were able to participate quite spontaneus on one of the tours. The staff was very sweet and forthcoming and the actors were a delightful. Especially the man playing the tavernkeeper gave me the creeps, so a 10/10 play. The horror part at the end was also great. Would highly recommend.

All staff were very patient and friendly to us, my 9 and 7 year old were determined to do the tombs part, staff provided a guardian angel (so no actors jump out) and they had fun. I didn’t go in as I don’t like that kind of thing and found even the first section scary. But I wanted to write a review as the staff went above and beyond when my son needed the loo half way through and allowed him back in waiting patiently with me to get him back in the tour. Actors were great and I was really impressed with how they do care about not totally terrifying younger guests. I think it’s just upto you if your children can cope with it. Check out some videos online and consider not doing the tombs or with guardian angel…

Fantastic! It was great fun and I enjoyed it so much. Everyone was brilliant but Ivan (the priest) was the absolute best: amazing and hilarious! Thank you so much to you all, I had a really wonderful time.

Brilliant actors, excellent atmosphere. The experience lasted 45 minutes (with the Tombs) and was well worth the money. You’re given an opportunity to decide whether to go inside the Tombs or leave the place early, the staff also explained well what to expect if you choose to continue. The tombs have some claustrophobic bits and pitch-black areas but overall not too scary, just really fun and thrilling! Very impressive, highly recommend :)

We visited the London bridge experience on Saturday. We had an amazing time. If you love horrors, being unaware of the unknown, adrenaline and jumping out of your skin then you have to go! 100% worth the money you pay. We’re looking to book again very soon!

Had such a good time here, the first 30 minutes was drama/history which is interesting, the second half is frightful. Found it to be quite entertaining.

It’s hard to give this more stars. It’s wasn’t scary at all. The scenes/rooms were excellent but it wasn’t interactive. No scary moments at all. They missed easy opportunities they could have really made us jump, but it was kinda lame. We had fun anyway, but we tend to have fun whatever. Top tip to them- more actors and capitalise more on the great space you have to scare a people. I can’t recommend this attraction.
