A family friendly museum that will entertain and occupy little ones for hours. You only pay for adults - and the fee is reasonable. There is so much to see and do inside. Much of it is interactive, and all of it is informative and entertaining, from the old horse drawn trans to the first Underground trains and modern trains and buses. Kids (and grown-ups) can climb on and have a go at being a driver, explore the city’s history, and generally have a great old time.

Not a bad museum but struggles to compete with the other London museums, especially as you have to pay to enter the transport museum. There is a reasonable collection of exhibits with the highlights for my kids being some old busses and train carriages you can sit in. That’s kinda it though. It’s basically all in one room on with a couple of balcony levels. Takes about an hour to see it all. Quite of few of the interactive exhibits were out of order. Overall quite interesting to visit once but not someone you’d want to go back to.

Interesting look at the history of London transport through the ages. Very good for educating children on how the different modes of transport have developed with technology. There is a cafe and toilets on site. Adults pay for entry, while children upto 17 are free. Advisable to book entry times before your visit so that you are not disappointed on busier days.

Should be a rating of 5 but for something out of the museums control and possibly unfair of me. Firstly it is a great museum, it isn't just about buses and trains. It tells the story of the development and social history of London. It is modern, with interesting exhibitions and a first class cafe. Known as the Canteen, it is reasonably priced for Central London, with a good menu and staff. Now to my gripe. Why do parents take babies and toddlers to such places. They are too young to appreciate or enjoy it. There were crying and screaming young children everywhere. Unpopular opinion I know but I've said it.

There's some old vehicles here and plenty to keep little kids busy. Gift shop has unique travel-based souvenirs. You can buy pillows, blankets and scarves with patterns from your favorite train lines.

Brilliant museum, especially for children! Lots of activities to keep the busy as well as a large coffee area to get snacks or drinks. Do allow for at least 3 hours, especially if with children! Had a great day here,

It's a nice museum that covers many vehicles used for London transport historically. It's best suited for younger children 4 - 7 years old in my mind. There are also spaces for even younger children. There are many buses, trams, trains, and even an omnibus to climb in. With that said, a 9 year old and a 7 year old enjoyed the museum as well. If you come during crowded times, expect queues for the possibility to simulate drive, it would have been lovely to have more of these available. The recent ongoing exhibition is about London tube in WW2 and is quite educational. It would be great to learn in more depth also about escalators (only a small exhibit) and other transport related engineering such as traffic lights, although there's probably not enough space to contain everything. There are convenient and consistently styled toilets in the museum.

This museum is a unique place to explore the history of transportation in the city. In the museum you will find a wide range of exhibits, including buses, trains, streetcars and more, which are presented in an interactive and educational way. The museum offers an opportunity to learn about the development of London transport over many decades and to understand its importance to the city. I recommend a visit to the London Transport Museum to anyone interested in history and transport, it is a great place for education and entertainment.

Great museum with lots of exhibits. Bought a annual pass. The cafe is a great place to have a rest with great food. Lots for children to do during the holidays. Plan to go back when it's not half term. Personally I prefer the Acton depot.

I visited after doing some of the hidden London tours which get you a discount entry to the museum. I have been before but a while ago. Whilst obviously a lot of things would still be the same there were bits that were new to me. This is a great museum with so much to see and quite a lot of things that you can go into and other things that you can do like simulators and things with buttons and proper working traffic lights.

Love this place! It’s perfect for kids as it has so much to see and do! I love how even from a young age, children can the joy this museum. The play area is great, but I really love how you can go inside trains and buses - really exciting for young ones. Definitely a must visit if you’re around Covent Garden 😌

Great museum showing how public transport has changed throughout the years. Very informative and a great place to take children. There is a café there should you need something to eat while visiting. There are some great London Transport gifts in the gift shop but they are very expensive

The museum was great, don't get me wrong, it was only a lot smaller than expected. We spent a lot of time reading all the signs and features of the exhibit and still it took us only 3 hours to go through it all. If you rush it, you can do it in much less time. Recommended? Yes (and no), this museum is recommended in combination with other activities nearby like the National Gallery and if you're interested in the subject. If not, then you may better spend your time elsewhere

Love this place. It is well done with interactive displays and a good progression throughout the history of London public transport. Covers the growth of London and various forms of public transport, which are very much interlinked. Horse powered, trains, tube, buses, trams, river - all the forms. Does well with the space it has. Plenty for kids to do. The display on posters currently on is quite good. Can be busy and only criticism is a bit pricey.

Everyone living and commuting in London should visit this museum at least ones! Well shown history, many interactive games and plenty of beautiful artwork pieces! Take a walk along the old trains, sit down in old northern line or plan your own city using huge digital simulator. Don’t miss out tube during the war and ladies working for the canteen part! Certainly super interesting and fun not only for adults but kids too.

I had a timed entry booking for 3.30pm and found out on arrival that it closes at 4pm. Google maps states that it closes at 6pm so be warned! Would loved to have spent more than 1/2 an hour here but couldn't. Note to museum...don't sell tickets for entry so close to closing time, and update the opening hours on Google maps. People (including myself) travel a long way to get here! The staff are great and the place was amazing but the experience was ruined.

Day trip to London with my father. I had been wanting to visit this museum for some time. A tremendous area of vehicles and artifacts. Engaging exhibits, interactive displays and a general fun atmosphere made this a very enjoyable visit. Lots of history, tactile experiences and a dizzying array of transport memorabilia.

Amazing museum! I love the Tube and so I was very interested in the history of it. The displays are very good and has amazing facts. They have a train simulator on the ground floor, but it takes a long time to do, so the queue can be quite big. Would recommend. Also the shop is great, where you can by pillows with the seat cover patterns and other souvenirs.

London Transport Museum will appeal to those who have a love for London's transport and the rich history that surrounds it - as well as little ones as there's a myriad of things to see and do here. It's one of London's most popular museum for a reason and as someone who is particularly fond of public transport from London's pre and post war era, there was a lot I learned here and digested and the shop itself has books that cover a wide range of topics regarding one of the world's oldest transport networks. Definitely one for history buffs as well as families looking to entertain their little ones.

Considering there's a fee for entry but it's a annual pass, it's a pretty good setup in my opinion, going to visit at least a couples times... I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of things relating to the London's transport history but enough to really appreciate what was on show throughout but my missus and little one seemed to enjoy it the visit. One slight drawback I found was it does get a little busy and with all the little ones running around having a field day, some parts are harder to enjoy than others, so I'd advice to either get there before noon or after the main rush. Oh, I forgot to mention, there wasn't a lot, if anything about the Docklands Light Railway here, disappointed to not see my local... Getting here is simple enough, Covent Garden via Piccadilly is your closest station, as for buses, there are a handful scattered around Covent Garden. Recommended.

This is a must for children. Really interactive lots of real vehicles to jump on and have a look. My 6 year old loved making the old style bus tickets and the lovely man helping was really informative too. Play areas are also throughout so my boy loved 'fixing the tube' with the toy tool kits. I actually learnt a lot too. Tickets are good value as kids are free and adults can come back with unlimited 1 year availability on your ticket!

I have not been a big fan of transportation stuff, but I was very impressed, and I believe that this museum could really draw and sparkle your interest to them. They display the very best of a set of extraordinary collection, looking at the past, present, and future of London and its transport system. Historic vehicles, world-famous posters, original maps, and signs are brought together to tell the story of London’s development and the part transport played in defining the unique identity of the city. It's much funnier than I expected.

Great museum with some really interesting and nostalgic exhibits. Covers the first underground trains and early buses up until modern times.....Not a big museum but very interesting content, spent 3 hours going round. Buy tickets online for timed entry and ability to go back for following 12 months.

A really nice museum in the center on the city. A nice place to spend a couple of hours. The place is not huge and yet using well its 3 floors. The place is well designed for small children, so they can enjoy the experience as well. There is a restaurant inside which serves fast food (including kids menu) with very friendly service.

Interesting insight into the history of London Transport. Staff were great, welcoming and attentive showing us where to go and where to start. The museum route starts from the top floor and you work your way down, starting in 1800s at the top and working your way up to a near future glimpse into London in 2030. You learn all about the introduction of horse drawn carriage through to the first railway lines that entered London through to building the underground. Really interesting history into London Transport and how things have evolved. Definitely recommend visiting the Hidden London exhibition too which you should find during your tour.

Great place to go if you / kids love buses and trains. Warehouse is full with bits and bobs, which include buses and trains...! Outside is also a miniature railway (additional charge). Only downside was that the shop was half way round meaning you have to carry bits with you!!

Interesting museum with quite a lot of vehicles, many you can get on. Lots for kids too. Thought there might have been a bit more London underground stuff but still enjoyed it. Used a London pass to get in, standard admission is a bit pricey if you're only planning on going once at £21 but is valid for a year so good value if you are able to return.

Great day out if you enjoy buses and trains. I great look into the history of Londons public transport system. Staff are super friendly and helpful. A card stamping task for kids to take part in. Some good and varied exhibits. The ability to sit in some old carriages and buses to get a sense of how things would have felt travelling decades (and century ago!) Nice gift shop with a wide selection at typical London gift shop prices. Restaurant food was good, though slow to get delivered. Typical canteen style food selection. Children are free and adult tickets give you unlimited entry for 1 year.

An informative and enjoyable museum full of London’s rich history of transportation. It took a little over an hour to go through everything and it was great. They have some actual historical vehicles in the museum and you really gain an appreciation for the evolution of how we got to where we are today. The staff was also great, with the lady making sure we only bought the cheaper ticket relevant to tourists.

Nice museum, very child-friendly! It's a great opportunity to take a trip through epochs from horse-driven omnibus to the tube. A lot of interactive installations don't make your child bored. The ticket is valid for a year so we will visit it again! Consider buying tickets in advance as you may spend quite a lot of time in the queue.

Great insight to the London public transport through the ages, some great things for all ages to do with volunteers carrying out show and tell. Cafe on site with a good variety of products available in the shop, I'll certainly be getting something to remind my Lindon born-btead dad for Christmas something to remind him of travelling on the buses, trams and underground back in his early years. A great couple of hours spent there.

Great place to bring my 5 year old grandson who loved finding the stamps for his card. Shame 2 out of 12 weren't working but hopefully they will on our next visit. Really helpful having a free cloakroom to leave coats etc as very hot in the museum. So much to see and do and nice to have a little cafe that we could have a break (eat our own food) before moving off again. We loved looking at all the transport especially the interactive activities which there were a good mix of. Gift shop expensive for certain items but that's usual for museum gifts in general. Staff everywhere were so pleasant and helpful.

Great museum for small children. There's a stamp trail throughout to stimulate kids during their visit, interactive exhibits, a transport play area with role play toys, a small soft play area and a book corner with seating. The museum is free for under 18s and £18.50 for an adult annual pass. It is fully accessible, has a buggy park, onsite cloakroom, two cafés, a picnic area, baby changing and offers SEN quiet sessions (Early Explorer Morning). Take a packed lunch as the foods expensive and avoid it during the school holidays.

A collection of rich transport history that includes horse and carriage buses, abandoned tube stations and locomotive's in all their glory. Great for kids as there is a play space for them and plenty of opportunities for them to sit in the drivers seat of a London bus. Very friendly and pleasant staff who make you feel welcome. Our kids enjoyed playing in the buses that they're allowed to board (only a couple of them) and they liked finding the stamping posts to mark their trail maps. For adults, it's interesting too, but there are a couple of sections like the wartime shelters that have limited displays and feel a bit tired. Overall, we spent about an hour and a half here. Definitely worth a visit.

Fascinating place to visit. You can probably see the place in about an hour if you just want to run though it - it’s not thaaat big of a footprint. If you’re genuinely interested then I’d really recommend the annual pass. I’ve been twice so far on mine and still have loads left to see and read in the place. There’s as much or as little detail as you’d like to consume. Definitely a place to visit while in London. Also very handy since it’s so close to Covent Garden so can get some food there etc. The shop is pretty decent. A tad on the expensive side, but you’d expect that in a museum shop. Definitely suitable for all ages too as it’s interactive and there’s details of interest for everyone.

Had a great time at the free adult explorer evening, so much quieter to explore and less stressful without kids around. It's great that there's several interactive displays and a sensory room. Also that you can go on a few tubes/trains stepping back in history, and overall, the museum is great for learning for all ages of Londons history of transport. At the time, only 2 floors were open but the museum is a great location in the heart of Covent Garden.

A brilliant museum charting history of London Transport from trams buses to underground trains. Particularly love the exhibition looking at the inside of early train carriages. Not much different in size compared to today's carriage apart from the materials used in the construction of the carriages.

Well organised museum. A lot of things to see at small space. You have to book tickets in advance with hour slot. Easy to find with many stations not far away from Covent Gardens where this museum resides. Because of the Covid restrictions museum wasn't overcrowded and we managed to do our tour around just under 2 hours. Next to the museum is a gift shop. There you can find many memorabilia with reasonable prices. I highly recommend this museum for fans of the public transport.

My kids love this place. There is plenty to see, although you can't jump into the trams , trains and buses as they show on the website ( that's the only reason why I took 1 ⭐ off, because it is misleading) You can hop on 1 real bus to play and generally, there is a small queue. There is a nice little play area, which gets disinfected and cleaned between groups. All the staff was wearing masks and kept distance from the public. The toilets were clean and the breastfeeding room was spotless. On the day we visited , the café was closed but there were plenty of tables to sit with a packed lunch.

It is almost impossible to fit everything about the transport history of London into the space they have, and it is one reason they also have the Depot space, but they still tell a great story in how we get around London and how a good public transport system made the capital grow through such things as Metroland. Given the Covid restrictions in place, it us understandable that there will be more limitations than on my last visit, and yes i have visited before, because it is a place you can go to spend the day at or just pop in for an hour, once you have bought the annual pass. I also like the shop and the cafe is always worth having that well deserved cuppa in. I have seen a few mixed reviews which seem to be because of the Covid restrictions, but from what I have seen the staff have gone out of their way to keep everyone safe, and also keep the museum open for future people to enjoy , so well done to them.

Hi fellow human beings, i came here looking for a flight outta town but as soon as i walked in a rather plump man started shoving information books in my face. I found this extremely rude so proceeded to fly kick him down the nearest stair case. A security guard then chased me through the train section with a large spiky metal rod which was quite scary. he then handcuffed me to the elevator and shut my arm in the door leaving me needing a prosthetic limb or two. Very Inconvenient. Overall a good day trip although if you come here looking for a flight its not the place. Dave! xxx

Kids love it here but over packed and hard to move around. Not much seating for disabled people.remember you can't always see the disability.but it's a nice place and kills a couple of hours .

This is literally the best place to take small children in London. If you're local it's amazing because the ticket lasts a year and you have a great rainy day thing to do whenever you need it.

We have been in here 4 times. This time round there were fewer people. The workers were everywhere trying to offer help and remind people of social distancing. The boys had a wonderful time.

Transport of London experience hasn’t been better. The museum offers one to enroll into the history of the transport in London. Having carriages from the old times bakerloo lines. Old buses on display inside and last but not least the souvenirs that one can buy from there. If you’re into travel and transport, it’s a must place to visit.

I HAD THE BEST DAY EVER AT THE LONDON TRANSPORT MUSEUM. Imagine all of the transport in London but IN ONE MUSEUM. In awe. Speechless. Lost for words. Bus simulator that you could drive round the whole museum was a particular highlight. Also loved driving a taxi and learning about the meter scams. Thanks Sadiq for a wonderful visit. I will be back. Soon.

This was a great find, the kids thoroughly enjoyed their visit. So much so that I upgraded to an anual pass. By the way if you buy directly from their site is the same price as a day pass! Kids go FREE! and before COVID, you were allowed to sit in some of the busses, carriages, trains etc! Can’t wait to go back! Oh and they do a stamp hunt which the kids thought was fun! 🤩

  • 4/5 Morwenna B. 2 years ago on Google
I really enjoyed my visit, loved that we got an annual pass, and saw lots, there is loads we missed so will have to go back again I am sure I loved the art posters, seeing the original tube maps and watching the video of how the underground system developed

Great place to learn about the Transport for London history and their network. As you can see from the photos, there is a lot of vehicles (busses and trains) to hop in and have a look around. The gift shop is another place to treasure if you’re into your transport, a good collection to get all your posters and memorabilia. Though it should be noted that it is a little pricey.

Visited on 6th October 202, for my husband's birthday. Pre-booked tickets online, so when we arrived at our entry time it was straight forward collecting our tickets, although i did have to remind the person booking us in about the museum guide book and tote bag, that i also pre-purchased when i booked the tickets. After being given our tickets and a stamper card we was ready to enter the museum. We have not been back to the museum for quite some time so quite pleased to see things have changed for the better, the clockroom was closed, so nowhere to leave your coat. Enjoyed making our way round the museum collecting the stamps for the stamper card, it was nice to take our time to really look around and read the information about each exhibit, and as it was not busy it really added to the atmosphere, as you can listen to the sounds playing in all the different areas as you travel round. I really enjoyed the transport at war section, the tube simulation and the Hidden London exhibition which is well worth visiting while there. Disappointed that we could not go onto the vehicles like before, but totally understand that due to covid, and the fact that they don't want to risk damaging the vehicles when deep cleaning the display items with antibactial cleaner. Price to go in is quite reasonable as it becomes an annual pass, so you can go back as many times as you like, in a year. Slightly disappointed about the lack of bus memorabilia that you can buy in the museum shop as i felt it was more focused on Trains and the Tube but hey ho, was thoroughly entertained by the staff after i spotted a mouse in the museum shop, funny how a man can be scared of a little tiny mouse, i would have caught it myself but evaded me as it went up the stairs, with some of the staff trying to catch it in a box, probs to the staff for trying.

Enjoyed it, good overview of public transportation in London down the ages. Some interactive exhibits which go down well with the kids. Look out for their Hidden London tours, though I’ve not managed to get on one yet!

Well designed museum easy to walk around. Brought back many happy memories of travelling to school by bus and having my ticket clipped by conductor who was well known by regular passengers.

  • 5/5 Wendy P. 2 years ago on Google
A ticket lasts for a year. So if you have young kids you can visit again. Ordering time slots for visiting was a bit of a pain but understandable. I asked a member of staff a question about one of the exhibits and he told me he would find out for me... Said to come back to him in a while. We continued walking around the museum and the lovely guy came and found us and have me a printed sheet with more information. You can't ask for more than that. I like the extra exhibits highlighting women's contributions to the Transport services.

  • 5/5 HLouLou090 2 years ago on Google
Fantastic museum with a lot of interesting history. The museum is well laid out and takes you chronologically through transport from 1800s to modern day and plans for the future. The exhibits are well laid out and information is very clear. To appreciate the exhibits fully I would recommend kids be a bit older before visiting as due to COVID, some of the interactive things which would have captured younger kids weren't running. Although there was a really clever stamp system for kids (big and small) to ensure you've walked around and at least seen (if not read) everything. There are 2 cafes (1 has lovely I've cream) and a very versatile shop which caters for all ages.

  • 4/5 Edwin P. 2 years ago on Google
Despite current limitations the visit was enjoyable. On entry we were issued with a four page hand out which highlighted certain items from the collection. A brief description of each item was included. There were plenty of Museum staff and friends volunteers to help visitors. There was a large covered area to eat and drink in. Unfortunately there was only one food stall in attendance, had there been the normal amount 5* would have been awarded!

Brilliant if you love seeing the bus and trams first used.Great children activities and mini train ride. Easy to get to from Acton Town underground, just cross the road.

  • 5/5 Alex H. 2 years ago on Google
I'm obsessed with the underground and London's rail network so I had to visit back in August. A great collection of trams, buses and some old rolling stock from a bygone era and a great collection of varied exhibitions with so much info and facts that I never knew before! The gift shop is by far the best museum shop I've ever been to; something for everyone there (including retired tfl equipment!) I've visited the museum/shop some more times since starting work in London and staff are always really friendly every time I go :) If you prefer a quieter visit I'd recommend going during the week or out of school holidays, as it can be busy and noisy with lots of younger kids (which is fair enough)

It's a nice place to visit specially if you have kids. The ticket you buy is valid for 1 year. So if you really like it, you can go often. It's a stone throw away from covent garden station so it's easy to get it. It's quite informative and some parts are interesting and interactive

Amazing museum: They have a train simulator on the ground floor, but it takes a long time to do, so the queue can be quite big. Would recommend. Also the shop is great, where you can by pillows with the seat cover patterns and other souvenirs Great place to go to increase your knowledge of London transport and how tunnels we're made. You can sit on a bus as the driver.

A good preservation of old transport units with documention ,films etc.

  • 4/5 Robert G. 2 years ago on Google
Decent museum, especially if you are into transport in any which way. Everything from trains to buses and exhibits on the underground system itself. My only comment is that I hope you do not visit while there are school groups visiting. I think everyone can guess why...kids just running around everywhere. Can be a bit difficult to try to read the well put together signs accompanying the exhibits when you keep seeing kids that look like they are going to run straight into you at full speed in your peripheral vision. The good news at least is the entrance fee is actually an annual ticket, so I guess if it is full of kids, you could always just come back a little bit later. Also, the museum shop is fantastic! Plenty of London transport related things to purchase, and even if you forget to buy something (and live overseas), the shipping rates aren't too bad either.

One of our favorite places. Great for families with toddlers who are walking. 2 different busses to sit and play on, taxi you can sit on with speakers to speak into. Small play area for little ones on ground floor. Friendly staff. Great space to eat if you bring your own food. Pay yearly membership as you can visit so many times for about £14 a year. Well worth it. We have gone here for cold and rainy days

  • 4/5 Tom B. 2 years ago on Google
After a quick detour to the depo.... We made it to the museum. It was a really fun interactive experience, but alot smaller than say the train museum at York. We got around it in 2 hours with us making our time. Which is fine but for 2 people it cost us £38 which yes is a annual pass but is alot of money for such a small place. Fun was had though.

  • 5/5 Paula B. 2 years ago on Google
Family friendly museum, loads to do for kids - there is a play area , even a small soft play corner for babies. Spacious, you can enter some of the trains, buses. It's informative, modern, interactive.

  • 3/5 Warren Da C. 2 years ago on Google
Great for young families and train enthusiastics. Must do the "hidden" attraction which you could easily walk past. Finding it and doing the hidden attraction part of the charm of the museum and is worth it. The gift shop was fab but on the pricey side for their textiles

  • 5/5 Zizi S. 2 years ago on Google
A very interesting museum about the transport in London, you get to see old trains buses, trams and wagons. Steeped with history, and there is also a nice shop and cafe, it's free for children under the age if 18, and £18.00 for adults, the adult tickets becomes 1year membership, donations are encouraged.

  • 5/5 Jordon T. 2 years ago on Google
Attended their event on Caribbean legacies in the TfL and it was great! They had guest speakers which was great and the exhibition materials were relevant and interesting. They had steel pan performers which was a great touch. The food and drinks was MAJORLY over-priced two rolls and a two drinks should not cost 30£ Otherwise, I would recommend

  • 4/5 Dan K. 1 year ago on Google
Some great exhibits especially the restored/replica wooden carriages. Interesting to see the history of the underground as well. However, avoid it like the plague during weekends and summer holidays because it's more like a creche than a museum at times. Some of the interactive exhibits unfortunately were not working at the time as well.

  • 5/5 Andrea L. 1 year ago on Google
It's not the biggest museum in London or the most famous, but if you love museums and you have already visited the main ones, I think it's worth the cost (20£ for an annual ticket). The actual Museum has a good number of exhibits across three levels and, if I have kids, there are plenty of attractions for them. I would also recommend checking the hidden London tours (separate tickets and booking)

  • 5/5 Thomas E. 10 months ago on Google
Great little day trip! The museum has a total of 3 floors showing the history of different modes of transportation in London. From carriages and boats to trains, busses and the tube, everything gets a fair share. Each exhibition piece has detailed information and is presented in a very cute and playful manner. Great for kids too. We spent about 3h here. We were particularly impressed by the animation showing the evolution of the tube map over time.

  • 4/5 Ethan C. 10 months ago on Google
Manages to blend the rich history of transport in the city, from horses to the Tube, with plenty of activities for kids. There is a little something for everyone in this museum and it has a lot of charm. If you or your child is interested in transportation, engineering, or just trains, this is your best bet!

  • 4/5 G 2 years ago on Google
Good museum a tad boring. The extra features such as listening to the voices of the first train conductor etc was great and going into the hidden underground dungeon. Great activities for kids under 7 to do. THERE NEEDS TO BE A DAY PASS TICKET. Doesn’t make sense to only sell annual tickets. There may be people who want to visit the museum frequently but it would be nice to have a day ticket only. Loads of hand sanitiser stations with NO HAND SANITISER INSIDE. Very disgusting especially as there are loads of things that multiple people would be touching. Out of 5 only 1 had hand sanitiser and this was the one by the front door. Receptionist could be more welcoming.

A great place to look round, especially for children. We spent a couple of hours there with my 2 and 7 year old. The journey through time looking at the different transports through the ages was very interesting. There's a great play area on the lowest floor, as well as a seating area should you want to take along your own food. The only negative was that it took almost half an hour to get served 2 hot drinks in the cafe. But otherwise, a great visit and a bonus that all tickets include a year's entry.
