I’d give it 1 star but Alfredo at the front desk and Bernadette in the restaurant earned them a second star. To start, this hotel is not what you would expect from a Marriott. It is run down and in need of fresh paint and some TLC. The room was not well cleaned, the coffee machine was filled with coffee grinds and didn’t work. They brought me another one. I put the pod in, it takes a little effort to close it.once I press start it is obvious something is wrong as coffee pours out from everywhere except the spout. I open the receptacle to find it is completely filled with empty pods! Definitely not the Marriott you expect! I wish it ended there, but it doesn’t. When they “cleaned” my room, they provided me a dirty bath towel! To top it all off, the dinner at the restaurant was only tolerable because of Bernadette. She corrected her peers mistakes and made an effort to make up for the poor service. The pasta was super salty and Luke warm at best. Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The most kind & accommodating staff on the planet! Get breakfast included with your room because the breakfast buffet is quite good and there really are not alternatives near the hotel. Mon - Friday was quiet, Saturday & Sunday night there was a bit of street noise. Very close to Underground Swiss Cottage on the gray line.

Mixed bag, run down hotel with nice amenities. You pay the prim rose hill price for a hotel that is seriously run down (think stale carpets and in need of some paint). Rooms are fine but nothing special, given the nightly rate. Redeeming qualities are the fact that it’s right by regents park and that it has a decent gym and nice pool. Was fun to stay in the neighborhood for the experience, but will not go back.

Overall good rooms and decently priced compared to other Marriott property in London. Near to the Swiss cottage tube station and hence friendly for daily commute. However for a vegetarian there are almost no breakfast options apart from fruits, cereals and milk included as part of the package and the menu does not change ever. Also the service level has been super slow and most times my requests have never been fulfilled. As basic request as fetching some bottle of water takes eternity to arrive only if it’s your lucky day, on others it would not. Have been staying here since a week now and going to stay for 2 weeks more and hence can claim about the poor service level with confidence.

We have stayed here a few times, it is a good location for families and has parking. This time there was a storm so we had to stay in the hotel and we booked in to use the pool. We were glad it was there but its a little tired, and there is a long walk from the changing room up some stairs to the pool! There is a changing room next to the pool but we weren't told that. We had breakfast which was nice but its always difficult ordering room service, they never know the menu. We like the rooms here they are clean and plenty of room for a family. The staff in the entrance were really helpful and nice.

Absolutely recommend this hotel and location. The rooms are very spacious for two double beds, there could be more light in the rooms but that’s about it. Nice balcony — overall great layout and large considering conventional European hotel rooms. Super clean rooms. We were at walking distance to all the Tubes and the area was so beautiful and safe even at night. Great staff at the hotel and bar. Cafe attached to hotel for morning BB. Bartenders are friendly. I loved this hotel and had an amazing experience when visiting London with family!

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London! -Rooms are poorly designed and not quite a 4 star standard. You can see stains everywhere!! Doors! Lamps. Bathroom. Dust were everywhere in the room. Housekeeping was quite bad and on request. Rooms are not cozy and vert old. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY PHOTOS. Staff are not helpful except for 1 or 2. We had a terrible experience with receptions although we are Marriott gold members! They did not accommodate any of our request! In fact. We had the worst experience with reception! We booked for 8 nights and they forced us to leave after 7 nights. We had to move instantly and were not compensated for the extras we had to pay in another hotel. They could not offer us another room! Everything about this hotel was literally Poor. I am surprised if is a 4-star.

Just checked out on the 14th September. It is absolutely not the Marriott one would expect. Apart from a bit run down, I had to call 3 times before getting an answer from the front desk. I spent 2 weeks there. They forgot to clean my room on the 2nd day of my stay. Forgot to replenish face towels... However, have to give some credit to the restaurant and bar. Ann and many other staffs are good.

Was just looking for a hotel in London and this used to be our first choice. Pool for the kids, green space and quiet nearby, with all the madness of London within walking distance. BUT…it still has that bloody awful Carluccio’s chain doing the food. Why? It put us off completely last time and I see from other reviews that it hasn’t improved one bit. So why is another wise exemplary hotel chain persevering with this tawdry partnership? Such a shame as I really like staying here otherwise.

Just spent the last 10 days at this hotel for my trip to London. I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone visiting London. The neighborhood is great, first off. That was my biggest issue booking a hotel, as I had never been to London before. As a woman, I felt very safe walking around at night. To start, the service was wonderful. My husband and I interacted with the staff multiple times and they were great. In connection to that, food service was also really good, especially the pizzas. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. That's really nice in London. We also got a mini fridge. The closest Tube station (Swiss Cottage) is less than a ten minute walk and it's a really calm and quiet station. There is also a market next to the station with awesome pastries we got nearly every morning. The only thing I didn't like was that we weren't able to order any movies, as is the case in some hotels. My husband and I always like to take a day off during long trips where we just chill out and watch TV to relax. There wasn't a whole lot as far as TV options. We made it work, but I imagine if you have kids, you may want to bring an iPad or something. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location very close to Primrose Hill and Swiss Cottage tube (13 mins to Oxford St). Little noise even with windows open because of the secluded location. Amazing views of London if you get an East-facing room. Very spacious rooms with plenty of space to work, and the beds were comfortable, but the balcony door was locked. Service and hosuekeeping could be improved. Pool and sauna were nice but a little too small for the size of hotel and the number of people, it got very busy when we were there in the evening. Restaurant was good value but only offers Italian options, so if that's not your thing you'll have to go off site.

Amazing hotel with the bets service! Every and each person at this hotel is super helpful, kind, and professional! Bravo! We stayed here for 4 days with kids and they prepared us lunch boxes because of the early departure, shared candy with kids for Halloween, served amazing food ad their restaurant, helped lots with transfers and made us laugh plenty! Sure to come back here!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Regents Park Hotel in London for one night, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked into the lobby until the moment I checked out, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Let me start by praising the breakfast at this hotel. It was an absolute delight! The buffet spread offered a wide variety of options to suit every taste and preference. The freshness and quality of the food were exceptional. From freshly baked pastries to a mouthwatering selection of fruits, yogurts, and cereals, there was something for everyone. The cooked-to-order items, such as omelets and pancakes, were prepared to perfection, and the presentation was impeccable. The attentive staff made sure my coffee cup was never empty and provided warm smiles and friendly conversations to start my day on a positive note. The breakfast alone would make me come back to this hotel time and time again. Moving on to the overall stay, the Marriott Regents Park Hotel exceeded all my expectations. The room was spacious, immaculate, and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The amenities provided were top-notch, and everything I needed was readily available. The attention to detail in the room's design and cleanliness was truly commendable. The hotel's location is also worth mentioning. Situated in the beautiful Regents Park area, it offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. However, it's still conveniently located near major attractions and transportation links, making it easy to explore all that London has to offer. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful concierge and attentive housekeeping, every member of the team demonstrated professionalism, friendliness, and a genuine desire to make my stay memorable. Their commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction was evident throughout my visit, and I truly felt like a valued guest. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Marriott Regents Park Hotel to anyone visiting London. The breakfast alone is worth the stay, but the overall experience is truly outstanding. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and a delightful breakfast that will leave you wanting more. I can't wait to return and experience this fantastic hotel again in the future!

The rooms are quite large and modernly furnished. Everything is available and neat. The beds were quite worn out. The air conditioning is a bit noisy - it was possible to adjust the temperature but not the modes. Therefore, it ran all night. We stayed on the first floor - when you leave the elevators you look at a roof with artificial grass and it smells terribly musty. The elevators were very worn and unkempt as was the exterior and facade of the building. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was very good.

I stayed at Marriott Hotel for a Conference. It is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are beautifully decorated, the customer service is awesome. The staff are courteous and ready to attend to your needs. My bathroom was very clean, The breakfast was buffet style with a variety to choose from; fruits, English and continental meals. I loved the pancakes, croissant, hash brown, salmon, mushrooms and cranberry juice. I also had a seafood pasta for dinner and it was okay. I would love to stay there again. The only downside was towards the end of my stay, 2 of their 3 lifts stopped working. Thankfully, I was on the 1st floor so it wasn't too difficult using the stairs.

Dirty, tired and old hotel in bad need of a refresh. Our room had a strong body door smell and they changed our room. I don’t think we will stay here again. Breakfast looks popular and location is not far from bus and Jubilee line. You can do better for the price.

The hotel is definitely not worth the price for an old and outdated building and size of rooms. The staff is very pretentious, some of which aren’t even trained. The rooms are small, and dull. the views are horrible, the room service is a 0/10, they only have Chicken Masala during the evenings!! The soft drinks are way overpriced, the breakfast is more suitable for kids only. The pool is not warm. The bell boy was very nice however.

Staff friendly and accomodating. Rooms spacious, clean and great design. Breakfast with great selection Close to Regent's Park ( a small walk) and tube station - Swiss Cottage. Here you are close to city center but still so far away you have calm nights and you can hear the Black bird singing.

During my stay at the London Marriott Hotel Regents Park, I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff and the luxurious accommodations. The breakfast at the restaurant was simply terrific, although it's advisable to arrive early to fully savor the delicious offerings. Additionally, the well-equipped gym was a bonus, but it could benefit business travelers greatly if it opened earlier. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel for an upscale stay in London.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and exceptional service. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had breathtaking views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel facilities, such as the pool and fitness center, were fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any request I had. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I will definitely be returning to this hotel on my next visit!"

Thanks so much. Was here for my birthday and they gave us an upgrade. Room was massive and the view from the balcony was lovely. Attentive staff, helpful with requests. Pool, sauna and steam room were lush.

What a lovely hotel. Could not fault anything on our one night stay. Breakfast was amazing. Although we did not eat in the restaurant the food looked good. Spa facilities was an added bonus. Staff service was excellent.

During my stay in London, this was where I stayed. Definitely an amazing hotel. Comfortable beds with a lot of cushioning, warm and toasty blankets. Ideal, especially considered the weather outside. Overall, an outstanding hotel with great service waiting on your every need. Along with that, it's easy to access an underground station which is just a few steps away from the hotel.

Had a wonderful time staying here. The staff, especially the Filipino crew, were excellent. It's a little far from The City Of London, but it is quite accessible by train. If you want a more quiet stay whenever you're in London, give this place a shot!

Love this location, very close to the Primrose and Regents Park for me run. Tucked in a quiet and established neighborhood with tree-lines streets, and a mixture of Victorian/Edwardian brick town homes and Art Deco post-war mid-rise buildings. The rooms have been upgraded recently, most have small balconies (tho the furniture is arranged in a way that the sofa blocks the entrance to the balcony). Most staff has been super friendly, except one woman at the front desk. I was running a bit late (~30m) for my late check out, and she was super unhelpful: didn't want to renew my card key so that I could get into my room to get my stuff, and just kept threatening to charge me for the hour. Fortunately, her colleague next to her stepped in to issue me a new card key and quickly checked me out afterwards. She just stood there and gave me the look. As an Ambassador/Titanium member for more than a decade, this probably was one of most unfriendly experience. Other than that, it's a very good hotel.

A special thanks to Elena from Carluccios/ bar area for snack (chips) today. I was visiting a friend at the hotel today and I have to say that the service from all of the staff were exceptional. They were very helpful and accommodating. However my experience at the bar area which was extra special thanks to Elena. She was super attentive and caring and went the extra mile to help. And it was all done with a warm smile. It was the kind of service that is now rear to find anywhere. Elena is an absolute credit to the Hotel. Thankyou Elena for making my day better today. And Thankyou so much for providing me with a snack.

I can only echo the previous review written a week ago. This hotel is lovely. I was very fortunate to stay for a week. The Staff are the best! A special thanks to Concierge Itzvan, and to Remi who made everything easier. And to all the lovely restaurant staff. I needed an Accessible room and mine was perfectly arranged to make it truly accessible and easy to use. It was also one of the most spacious rooms I've ever had in a hotel. The lobby area is attractive and comfortable. And the best accessible toilet I've ever used is next to the fitness center. The pool also looked very inviting. The neighborhood is exceptionally quiet and attractive. I "walked"/rolled to both Regent's Park and Camden Market. A great place to stay in London!

Wonderful hotel, staff is excellent very friendly and helpful. I would not suggest if you’re a first time tourist since it’s a ways from the City of London, but there is a tube stop nearby (not handicap accessible). I took a star only because it’s not near anything. I’m the middle of a suburb the closest restaurant outside of the hotels is about a 15 minute walk towards the park. If you head towards the tube the neighborhood changes QUICKLY and not for the better. Overall great stay.

My sister stayed there for a couple of weeks with her 3 kids ages 5yrs - 18months.The manager was nice and the room was comfortable but the receptionist and pretty much all aspects of the service received were shockingly bad. The room was left uncleaned on several occasions and at one point I had to call the reception from my place asking them to send clean dry towels she can use in the morning. No guest should be made to feel that they are being lectured by a receptionist. I thought that a hotel of such standing would have no issues with a cosmopolitan clientele but I was left with no doubt that that is definitely not the case. 5 stars for the quality of the room and the pleasant manager, Waleed, otherwise there is nothing to commend this hotel about.

Stayed 3 nights in a family room with my wife and son. 5 min walk from Swiss cottage tube, near leisure centre so easy to find. Nice reception area and bar with a Carluccios restaurant as well. Gym and swimming pool available for guest use. Underground car park but expensive, £33/night. The room was spacious and lovely, comfy twin beds and clean with all amenities. Bathroom clean and modern with toiletries, separate shower cubicle was good. Service was good and requests were prompt. The pool was great and we used it a few times. Lovely warm water and great for the young ones. You have to book a slot which we did but we stayed longer if not busy. Carluccios was ok but food was a little bland and service a little slow. We ate out in Camden which is a 15 min walk, loads of options and Camden lock market had an amazing array of food stalls. We tried as many as we could! There is also Swiss cottage high street which had many shops. We found a lovely cafe for breakfast called the Garden Cafe and a lovely Korean restaurant called Zaangs, delicious food. the hotel itself is nice, location is great, tube is near and Camden market within walking distance. Also Regent's park and Primrose hill is close if you need some green space. A great stay in a lovely hotel. Very enjoyable break in London

A good place for families, albeit the rooms could be slightly bigger and with less furniture. In the double room (2 adults and 2 kids) there's no real space for clothes. The pool is often crowded but very informal and pleasant. However to call the sauna "spa" is a stretch.

Yes. Excellent service and room. Now on my 9th day of visit. Prompt response for anything needed. The beautiful renovated room is very well thought out to remain organized throughout my visit. Great welcome snacks, fresh bottled water daily, daily room makeover with fresh towels and sheets. The bathroom is modern with wonderful shower etc.(love the push button shower on/off). Thank you Marriott… very pleased with the stay!!!

This is an excellent hotel, with staff who remind us of how good service used to be in the UK. Exemplary team from Housekeeping to front desk, concierge and M Club staff. Everyone was so precise in their service, so pleased to to help with attention to detail. We were very happy with our stay here on 2 separate occasions this month.

Great Marriott hotel. We stayed for 3 nights on holiday and had a great time. I see others complaining but you know the saying “you get what you pay for”. If you want the luxury of the Four Seasons you have to pay for the 5-star accommodations. This is a great hotel for the money in an upscale quiet neighborhood. Last night we stayed a noisy customer moved in next to us. Opening and closing his door loudly over and over (probably drunk). People now a-days have very little if zero etiquette. No fault of the hotel.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. They compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't regret it. I visited my family staying there. Hotel was clean rooms nice big. Location I am not sure because we live in London. So for us is OK. We did not order room service. But tea coffee facilities were in the room. All seemed ok.

As usual… my stay at this particular venue (Regent’s Park) was 10 out of 10!! The hotel itself is elegant, classy, inviting… warm, exciting !! The rooms are huge, the rates are very fair & affordable for the luxury you receive… you have a bath & shower, & products to use… all spotlessly clean and shining… very comfortable huge beds with lovely feather bedding !! Blacked out curtains so you have a very restful time… I met a lady who worked in the Spa, a member of staff named Tina and she was just a dream to be frank.. you don’t get staff like that anymore, you know so friendly and kind and even engaged my little daughter in the pool in a game of ball.. staff like her really make your day and make you feel respected and happy… a little faith in humanity is restored… The ONLY negative thing I would mention that I found a bit odd was when I went to the hotel bar I ordered two Pepsi’s which were £3.90 each ! Basically £4 each… I know they don’t make the prices but the bottle was so small & I found it quite shocking and then what I found more strange was I gave the bar tender a £10 note and he didn’t give me back my change… as far as my knowledge there wasn’t a service charge, seeing as I had que’d myself and stood at the bar I wouldn’t expect to pay £2.20 for any service… I know it’s only £2.20 but money is still money and I just found that rather odd to just not mention or give me my change… also the bar staff in general were pretty off and didn’t greet with smiles or friendliness.. they seemed stressed, annoyed when I asked if they sold crisps and then when I tried to pay for a small snack for my daughter 4 of them behind the bar all ignored me and became busy with other things. I had a cab waiting so I had to leave the snack which was annoying as she was really hungry and we had a 40 minute cab ride home. I’ve been visiting this hotel and many others of the same franchise for decades now and I have to say honestly; without meaning to sound negative at all, that this visit I really noticed a change in the attitude of the staff… they really didn’t seem as friendly this time and their body language wasn’t friendly like it usually is either…. Usually at the Marriott you get lots of smiles and warm behaviour from staff but this time I definitely sensed a few staff were annoyed and it showed on their face… which for a guest isn’t very nice and makes you feel you’re bothering them. Anyway much love to the wonderful Tina and the manager was really nice and friendly too… overall great and will continue to visit Marriott hotels forever… Happy New Year 🥳

We had an amazing stay here, the staff was so friendly, the breakfast was very good. It’s only a short walk from a metro station and we also found a lot of places to eat in walking distance. Definitely would stay here again.

Good clean hotel. Good prompt service. Very helpful and friendly staff. Delivery apps work perfectly and come to the reception in no time - and the deliveries are smooth. Location is great. 2 minutes walk away from a convenience store - if you don’t use delivery apps. 6-7 minutes walk away from the nearest tube which connects quickly to arterial tube networks. Primrose Garden and Regent’s Park are a short walk away. Safe! Member’s club with the pool and other facilities is nice. Rooms are small. Bathrooms are small. We had a family room and that too was a little too small for comfort. The balcony - wasn’t really a balcony. Which is why it loses the 1 star.

The first point I would like to make is that we never got the room we booked on Hotels.com, and they didn't tell us until we were checking in, my wife and I always book a terrace room where we can as we like our evenings on the terrace and telling us so late left us a little cornered. They did however give us free parking and breakfast, but this room we got in place was not what was expected. Saying that, the staff here are amazing, they could not do enough for us, they are friendly and helpful, they were always happy and willing to help. Pros - Room was spotless and large, dinning was excellent and everything was cooked well, hotel itself is very airy and easy to get around, rooms are quiet and the bed was brilliant. Good pillows and the coffee tray was excellent with lots of choice. Cons - The hotel itself was very hot, the room AC was weak and did nothing and in our room the extractor in the toilet didn't work and the balcony door didn't lock, also the balcony is standing room only, parking was underground and was a very low ceiling.

My only issue with this hotel is the weird architecture - I was looking forward to having a room with a balcony however I really thought it was bizarre after I realized, when I got there, that many of the rooms are directly facing other rooms in the hotel. So if you stay here - make sure to keep your curtains closed, especially at night! I was able to see directly into other guests' rooms.... such an invasion of privacy. Other than that, location is great. Regents park is literally so close to everything in Central London which I found super convenient! And lastly, the staff - especially Mr Osman, one of the hotel's managers who checked me in, is incredibly helpful and kind! My kindest regards to him and the rest of the team who provided my colleague and I with 5-star service!
