Covent Garden Travelodge was the perfect location for me, it was close to theatre I went to and walking distance for restaurants, shops, and bars. My room was lovely, and I had a big bed that was really comfortable. It is a pet friendly hotel .my dog came along with his bed and loved getting attention from other guests. It only cost me an extra £20 for pet so not bad at all. Thank you

Couldn't like it, even if you tried! Grubby unloved hovel (see photos). Housekeeping next to useless. Some days the room wasn't made up even though the appropriate sign was left on the door. When it was "made up" minimal effort was used to make it look like they did something, didn't even replace the used mugs which were manky to start with. When the 'do not disturb' sign was on the door they continued to knock anyway. The breakfast is disgusting, tasted better dog food.

Stayed a night for a birthday celebration. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. No hairdryer (a problem for some of our ladies) No glasses for water (not an effort to add these to the room?) No bar fridge. No phone in the room to call reception if you have a problem or emergency. Beds 'firm', pillows very firm (would have liked a soft option - all four were quite hard) Shower was FABULOUS! Proper full on power shower. Very clean. Breakfast is very good and great value at £10.25 for a buffet! Drinks in the bar (open til 4am!) were very expensive, coke/soda etc in a bottle and £3.95 before you add a spirit, which I found expensive. Staff very friendly and helpful. Brilliant location, 5 minute walk from the heart of Covent Garden. Yes I would stay here again. Thank you!

I am posting this review before we have even checked out because I am so impressed with the kind and friendly service at this hotel. From an error with the booking to start with we had to change location to Covent garden which was great. The customer service was excellent over the phone. You can tell that everybody enjoys working there as there is a really good energy, nothing is any trouble and service is with a smile. The location is perfect. The rooms are very adequate, a little brighter would be nice and just some water in the rooms. But super happy here, would definitely come back. Keep up the good work guys

Stayed here this weekend. Completely aware that I had a bargain regarding price for London on a weekend, but the room was appalling. We were placed in an underground room with barely any signal. Connected to wifi (and paid for this) only for it to stop working the first night. We left the room early in the morning to do some sightseeing around London, only to return to notice that our windows had been left WIDE open by cleaning staff on the ground floor of a hotel. The outer window did have a safety latch but this could’ve easily been cut. We noticed that our room became misty (only way to describe it was the same consistency and smell as smoke machines used in pantomimes) so had to reopen the windows to filter clean air into the room. We left again in the evening to go to a show only to return again to horrific mist. Clothes were left stinking! We asked to move which the hotel were happy to do, but it was quite evident that staff were already aware of the issue as the windows had been opened prior. The only thing that stopped us from causing a huge fuss were the polite staff we encountered in the bar over the weekend. An absolute credit to the hotel.

Great room, location and price. Not the most attractive building from the outside but the room decor was fine and since we only used it as somewhere to lay our heads... Would definitely go back. Within easy walking distance of West end attractions. Interactions with staff were good - helpful and attentive. Would happily recommend.

Me and my partner arrived for 2 days 3 nights. The staff were very helpful throughout especially on the first day as when we got to our room after check in, we found the floor to be in poor condition with their being hair and mud and what looked like grass on the carpet as well as what can only be described as tissue after it had been left in trouser pockets and washed. We explained this and they changed our room no hesitation only to find the next rooms bathroom lightbulb was out so we had to change again however the lady on reception, Ayan was very kind and apologetic and gave us a room upgrade which was welcomed and much better and in better state. Our 2 nights were good, the bed was comfy and room was spacious and inviting and on our last day we checked out at 12 and wasn't leaving London until 18.00 and they let us keep our luggage in a ticketed secure location. We were also able to use the printer at reception because we forgot to print off tickets for something before our break. Altogether a very good experience and staff went the extra mile when they could and was needed, would definitely avoid the standard rooms though as there doesn't seem to be much care put into those as there is with the slightly better, upgraded rooms.

A nice hotel and perfect location for our night out. The staff was friendly and helpful and we certainly couldn't fault them in any way. The only thing that let's it down, is the fact that a disabled room is double the price of a standard room. From the size of it, I can't Imagine a standard room would be any smaller, so it was a shame we needed to pay a premium for my wife being disabled. Other that it was an enjoyable stay

Great location. Only interacted with one member of staff called Lord Dan who was extremely friendly and professional. For the price of the room I would have expected a higher level of cleanliness, however you made up for this with a very very comfortable bed! Great shower too! Up the cleanliness and I would award 5 stars!

Great location! We’ve stayed in London 4 times in different areas this is by far the best! Hardly used the oyster Card everything within walking distance. Yes it’s not upmarket, yes it’s grubby in places BUT for the value and location and for the time spent in the room it’s outstanding! And the staff are brilliant at the desk and the bar couldn’t fault them.

Stayed here for several nights. Great location for accessing the majority of the things I'm London. Plus Covent Garden is just an awesome place to stay with fabulous bars, restaurants and not forgetting the market. The rooms are very clean and spacious and some of the views of the city are amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there a great bar, which is open until late. There is also a nice restaurant opposite which is great for breakfast if you fancy a change. Definitely recommend staying.

Stayed here last weekend for 3 nights, bit pricey because it was remembrance Sunday so London pretty full.. The staff were very friendly anything you needed they supplied, the room was clean and had everything we needed the breakfast was great and staff were lovely. Just one niggle our room no.75 was really noisy traffic lights right outside our window and pub opposite open to 2am was really noisy so had no sleep most if the weekend apart from that all ok so don't stay In room 75 if you like your sleep🤣🤣

For what we considered the room to lack, it absolutely exceeded in service. We went for the super room with early check in, our keys stopped working twice however reception were more than happy to replace these for us. The shower had poor pressure and the layout was slightly questionable but it did what we needed it to do. The room included a tv, some complimentary tea and coffee & an iron and ironing board. The bed was comfortable despite it being very firm, but for some people this suits so we cannot complain. As for the staff, we could not have asked for a better service. The staff went above and beyond for us. We were able to purchase a cup of tea from the bar at 1am, from a very friendly and kind bartender which we didn’t happen to get the name of. Ash and Reece from reception couldn’t have been more helpful, from booking us a taxi, to rescheduling one; and even walking us to the taxi when we could not find it! Genuinely I have never met such lovely, hospitable people. The breakfast was perfect for us, the food was hot and tasty. With something for everyone including hot drinks and cold drinks, hot food and cold. You can go up as many times as you’d like. We really enjoyed it. We would stay here again, Thank you for a great stay!😊

The room was well priced and well located. There are 2-3 tube stops within walking distance of the hotel, and you can walk to Covent Gardens in 8-9 minutes from the door of the hotel. Our room had a noisy fan which we had to keep off in order to sleep, and the body soap dispenser in the shower was empty upon our arrival. When we went down to ask for the body wash to be refilled we were told the dispenser in our room was broken and we’re instead given a mug of body wash - and yes you read that correctly.

Rooms are worn down but have all the necessities. Outlets are super low voltage. Location is great and close to the heart of London. Service was nice. Reps at the front desk are helpful. Price is unbeatable for the location as long as you can deal with a small room.

Deeply disappointed to arrive to a building site with zero effort to make us aware before arrival that we were being charged full price for a hotel without a breakfast or bar available. The staff moved at snails pace and offered little apology for the inconvenience. For a London Hotel and the location provided, it's passable for a one night only...but I would have expected the courtesy of a discount on the stay or at the very least, vouchers for another stay.

Being in the heart of Covent Garden had high expectations for this hotel but it failed by far. Unfortunately room was dirty when we arrived but we were so tired, we had to sort it out in the morning. Then in the morning hot water was not working, had to shower in another room! and then then had to change rooms in the evening. Breakfast was hit and was hit n miss. Vegan Sausages sitting under the light so long, they had dried out to a crisp. Staff were wonderful BUT would NOT /NEVER stay here again.

Loved the location of this hotel. Easy walk to Covent Garden, theatres and Leicester Square. We had super room 904 but it's was small and nothing special so super price but not so super room. Breakfast was hot buffet (minus fried eggs) cereal, fruit, toasts etc. and all very nice.

Great Central location, close to covent garden all the site's and theatres. Room was lovely and clean ,could have done with more coffee and sugar in the room has there was only enough for one drink each. Also a hairdryer would be nice. It did have an iron,an ironing board an extra electric heater and a fan but personally I would prefer an hairdryer. Also room was lovely and warming you are thinking of visiting in the colder months

This was our second visit to this hotel, we came last year and booked a superior room to make use of the air con during warm evenings and it was great. This year not so good unfortunately. Our room was clean and had all the usual amenities, unfortunately the air conditioning was not working to the standard we got last year for some reason. We took this to the management on the first day and had 3 attempts to get it resolved. The upshot was that the staff came into our room (with our permission) and were supposed to have fixed the issue. Not so though. I am no expert on air con units but I do know when a room is not at 18 or 19 degrees. The corridor was cooler than our room and that was after we left the air con on all day. I had a feeling that the control readout was showing all the correct settings but that the thermostat in the room was faulty and this was not recognised or fixed. Anyone getting room 736 be aware. Also we were going to enjoy a few night caps at the bar, unfortunately on our first visit the music was that sporadic and loud as to be uncomfortable when sitting trying to enjoy a drink. We never went back after that first evening. Also we are trying to get in touch with this hotel to see if we can get a cushion my wife needs for her bad back which we left but nobody picks up the phone to be able to talk to anybody.

Having spent 14 days in the space of a month at this location for work. I experienced different staff and different rooms at this hotel. Overall the staff are very friendly. Barring one. On my final weekend, a woman refused to check me into my room because she finished in 5 minutes and it would take too long. Apparently she does this often so she misses the 3pm check in rush. Extremely unprofessional, the hotel itself is good looking an modern. One visit, my hotel room was dirty with skid marks in the toilet. Would I stay in the hotel again? If I had to. Sure... Staff:9/10 ( the one bad experience stops it from being a 10) Price: 2/10. For what I'm paying. It isn't worth it. It's very over priced. A "superior room" is the exact same as a basic room. Except you get a kikat 😂 Cleanliness 4/10

I’ve not even checked in yet and I already want to give zero stars. Due to new remote working and only being required in London two days a week, I now need a cheap enough hotel that doesn’t break the bank around the corner from my office, at £50 a night and 200m from my office, I can’t really complain (or so I thought!). Now I am fully aware you get what you pay for but upon arrival at 2pm I walked up to the desk to be greeted so rudely by Brigitte I think her name was, asking “name?”... no hello or friendly greeting. I gave my name rather taken a back and she advised check in wasn’t until 3pm and if I wanted to check in early it would be £10. I asked why this was the case when the room was free and it was only an hour from check in and I was told “just because that’s the fee” - hardly a professional response. I said I wouldn’t be paying the extra £10 as I could go and run some errands for an hour and asked if there was somewhere to put my luggage, she didn’t respond to me rather just walked into an open part of the lobby and expected me to follow (I forgot I’m supposed to be a mind reader) and she tore off a blue ticket and handed it to me saying I could collect my luggage at 3pm. This area was not manned and was easily accessible to the public and I asked how they secured it as my luggage didn’t appear safe if left here, they said don’t worry they have CCTV (isn’t this a reactive approach if something gets stolen rather than preventing it?). After reluctantly leaving my luggage (the other option was to carry it around Covent Garden in 30 degree heat) I asked if there was a fridge in the room as I would go and collect my friends birthday cake and put it in the fridge. She replied “no” I said ok... so no mini bar? What’s in the room? She looked at me like I’d asked her the most ridiculous question in the planet, gave a little smirk and said “a bed” - now I love a bit of sarcasm and my sense of humour is top notch believe it or not, but really? The level of rudeness was outstanding. I could understand if the employees were rushed off their feet but we are in the middle of a pandemic and they’re all sat around the front desk chatting away doing absolutely nothing with the most depressed of faces - if they don’t want to be there, I advise they get a new job rather than make the customer experience more miserable than it already needs to be staying in a travel lodge! Let’s see what 3pm brings when my bedroom probably resembles that of a wheely bin and I have to endure the sour face And attitude of Brigitte again.

Had a cheerful check in with Dan Bygraves who welcomed us and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are clean and well appointed and all staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was great with good selection and constantly refilled when necessary. Would recommend and will stay here again.

Stayed here for a few days. Location was great and the staff were brilliant. Unfortunately on arrival I found out that their systems had gone down so all the room keycards had to be programmed manually. Whilst most in the queue were understanding of the wait, there were one or two guests that liked to just assume dominance and demand their room keys to be sorted out quicker, when the staff were trying to keep everyone in order of their check in. My room was clean and comfortable. The air con actually worked (even though it was a little noisy) and the view in the corridor was quite nice to just watch the people below in the street. Shower was fine- was great that I didn’t have to step into a bath which can sometimes cause me pain in my hip. Appreciated there were top ups of teabags, sugar, etc in the reception if you ran out. Breakfast was good as well, but due to the systems still being down the next day, I had to pay cash instead of card. One thing that did annoy me was other guests at the early hours of the morning slamming their door constantly nearby. Do not disturb signs are there for a reason, yet this seemed to encourage more noise when others are trying to sleep. Overall though I would stay here again and hopefully get the same floor I did.

Stayed here a few times now. Great location. Normally have breakfast here but the seating area for the bar and meals is being refurbished. Was recommended by staff to go into Cafe Verona over the road for breakfast. Was not disappointed, food excellent, including lunch time food. Plenty of variety , good size portions, very friendly staff, and amazingly cheap for london

Location of this hotel is pretty good and all the staff are a blessing for this travelodge. The restaurant staff and reception are wonderful. The room we had (family room, third floor) was just okay. It had a good amount of amenities (no phone, hair dryer, or fridge) but had an iron with board, extra pillows, heater and air con. The walls are quite thin so we could hear most of what our neighbours were saying. Bed is fine. The children's bed is a temporary type of bed.

Nice stay, room was a bit on the small size due to being a corner plot. Two bedside tables. and some hooks would have been useful, however all in all we had a comfortable stay and would recommend. Good quality and value breakfast too.

Just spent the night here as went the West End for my husband's 40th. We got a free upgrade to Super Room to celebrate. The room was clean & spacious. It has everything you need expect a fridge. It was quiet. Food was nice. Restaurant gets busy in the evenings & serves food til 4am. 5 minute to Holborn tube station (Central line), 10 minute walk to Leicester Square & China Town & up to 20 minute walk for the theatres, depending on which 1 you're attending. Staff were friendly & helpful. £3 for 24 hours of WiFi

Perfect for tourists or for business meetings in London. Excellent value for money; the hotel is right in the center of London. I had a wonderful stay. Special thanks to Ash for his help with all my luggage and such a warm welcoming.

From the outside this hotel doesn’t look like much but it’s actually really lovely inside, the decor is very modern and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The price for two night was very reasonably priced and definitely worth it. The reception staff were really polite and helpful, I had issues with my phone signal in my room so they arranged for a complimentary wifi code so that I would still be able to access the internet in my room. Would be happy to stay here again!

Unsure why this hotel gets so low reviews. The rooms were a decent size, when getting a room in somewhere like London it's mainly used as a base to sleep so the size never mattered to us. Sound proofing was brilliant, you'd have never known it was next to a busy street and until you got downstairs I never heard a peep from other people. Would recommend proper plugs next to beds other than usb as alot of charger have the smaller version now. Shower strength was fantastic, only other thing recommend having a few more facilities in room such as small soaps (we didn't bring one as they are usually provided). So all in all don't let negative comments put you off, it was clean, friendly and a lovely location

One of the most terrible experience! The location is just only one good reason to stay here, but still you need to walk around 7 minutes to center of Covent Garden,to Leicester 10 minutes,Soho longer. Also the entrance is so inconvenient(there is 13 broken stairs). About rooms:very poor condition,I don’t know when they had refurbishment, dirty, although I think staff trying hard but probably payed poorly. One of the terrible here is strong toilets stench!!! I changed one room for another, naively thought that this problem was only in that previous room. But was wrong! This stench so strong that stings eyes!Guys, you have to change all pipes or reducing your high price which is similar to 5 star hotels!😡

Staff here are very unreasonable, and evicted my female friend at 3am. They wouldn’t even let her book another hotel in the lobby area, in the warm. It’s such a shame that during Covid, people act in this way. I will never book here again. Please don’t book here if you are looking for a good time out in London. Horrible rude staff.

Firstly, the staff were friendly and helpful and I was able to leave my luggage for the day whilst I attended an event which was super helpful. The room itself was clean, spacious and I was able to easily control my own temperature. I was only disappointed by the bathroom. The shower gel dispenser was broken and the soap dispenser was empty. I was mid house move at the point of my visit so was relying on having shower gel available.

Room was very small and very cold and felt quite grubby. It was a noisy hotel (the walls are extremely thin so all you could hear was our "neighbours" talking/screaming and the heater/fan was so loud that we had to turn it off. (Resulting in an even colder room). Its okay if you want an extremely basic room but at the price we paid for it, we did expect more. So personally, it is wasnt worth the money.. the only positive was how nice the reception were and that we could get as much tea and coffee as we wanted for our room.

Not the usual travel.lodge tbh. The rooms were lovely. All quite new. Lighting brilliant. Only 1 slight thing. Mirrors, not one on the dressing table. So if you have a shower. Can't use the bathroom mirror. The only other is a full length with a hair dryer but the light is in the wrong place to do make up. None of the sockets or light switches have been fitted straight? Breakfast good. Bar service good. Would stay again.

Remember to use HᴏtelDully.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. They compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't regret it. Really enjoyed my stay here. The Room was a good size and spotlessly clean. The downstairs bar was well stocked and the food was good. Breakfast was a really good price and the choice excellent would recommend to anyone

Location of the hotel is perfect for visiting all places in London. Rooms are clean and good .. shower isn't very good though the water kept spilling over the tray as it doesn't seem to flow away quick. We had breakfast and it was okay ..all you can eat buffet. And drinks are responsible priced. Lovely cappuccino!

  • 3/5 Kristin S. 4 months ago on Google
It was okay for what it was - a place to shower and sleep. Though the shower in my room only provided me a pump for hand soap, no body soap... bizarre. At one point their key card system went down and all patrons lost access to their rooms, which I've never had happen before. The location was very good in terms of access to buses and trains and getting to Heathrow via the Elizabeth line at Tottenham Court Road was so simple. If you are staying here, I would recommend getting a room on as high a floor as possible. This hotel is located by a theater, comedy club, many restaurants, and many drivers who make good and constant use of their car horns. I was on the ground floor and the street could unfortunately be very loud during bedtime.

  • 3/5 M L. 4 months ago on Google
Stayed for work. Although the location is fantastic, the quality of the rooms bring it down. Aircon/heating system is so loud there’s no chance you can run it and sleep. Had a portable radiator in my room which was appreciated as it did get very cold. The walls are extremely thin so much so I could hear every time next door decided to go to the loo. Must say the staff have been very helpful so that’s always a nice bonus but personally would prefer to stay elsewhere when in London for work again.

Great location for all things in London. A few minutes walk to covent garden with lots of dining options from cafes to restaurants. Loads of shopping options, a theatre nearly on every street. If you want central London it's only 30 minutes walk or less depending on foot traffic. If you are able bodied easy access at the front of the building, if you need to use a wheelchair their is ramp at the side of the building. Be ready for a workout going up the 3 ramps in total but you do have a rest stop after each ramp. At the last ramp you have a security gate, press the intercom and go through a courtyard to the left down a small ramp, press the button and go in. Turn to the right and follow the passage to the front desk. We had a disability modified room very comfortable bed, pillows were a little firm so asked at the front desk and 10 minutes late we had two soft pillows, air conditioning in the room with control. Modified wet room bathroom with shower, seat grab bars. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful definitely would stay in this hotel again great location and value for money.

Prefect location. Easy access to underground. Nearest is holborn station. Walking distance to Covent Garden, Piccadilly circus, Leicester square. Recommended to get the super room. Breakfast kind of crowded sometimes. Prefer take breakfast more early. Kids breakfast is free. For the perfect location, clean room, new renovated room. I’ll be back if I visit to London again.

Stayed here for a few days with the family to watch a musical in Covent Garden. If you're not fussed about service, this place is basic but comfortable. Not so good if you are 6'3" though, the bed sloped for my husband, in the end he slept in the spare bed. Decent breakfast spread, even for vegans and vegetarians except for the pancakes - the pancakes were dry. Otherwise a great convenient location to the tube station, restaurants, convenience stores and nightlife. If we decide to go to a musical in the near future - we will definitely stay there again.

  • 4/5 Pippa B. 3 years ago on Google
Good, clean comfortable & great location. If you use a wheelchair access is via a very steep ramp round the side street. It needs a handrail as it will be too steep for many people without a helper. Once inside staff were very helpful.

Location is perfect Front reception staff female on the The 5th Jan around 12 was terrible Abrupt and miserable. However, the checking-in staff were great especially the tall guy with the long hair. Bad points Was told on the day of checking in that the restaurant was closed Nightmare for me because my granddaughter could not cope with the change and was very upset, not only that I could have booked somewhere else if I had known. So I felt scammed. The rooms were terrible And hadn't been cleaned very well The bathroom bin still had rubbish in there from previous guests. Dispensers were empty Very tired and Bath looked grubby The bed was hard, and the room was tiny for a family. I did get the room for a great price, but Learned, never to compromise on a good night's sleep by paying less. Never again.

As a complete surprise we found the bar closed last night and closed for breakfast/ coffee this morning. What is more some well planned but totally unannounced building work had begun This policy is aggressive and totally unacceptable for regular guests! It costs nothing to put up a sign. Totally disgusted by this cavalier attitude.

This is bar far the worst travelodge in London!!And we have stayed in a few. Its very tired and dated, needs a full refurbishment sooner rather later. The only thing thats good about this place is the location.

Check in quick and easy. Although once in our room someone else tried to get in. They was told the same room number. This is not the 1st time this has happened at this travelodge. Last time we ended up in someone elses room while they were having a shower. Awkward 😬

Very comfortable and sensibly priced room with a view in the heart of London, with lots of places to eat, drink and shop nearby.

Good, nice, central hotel. God a free upgrade to a plus room. Good views from high up rooms

Smallest travelodge room I have ever stayed in however due to location good value for money. Issues: could clearly smell cannabis during the evening and morning as I walked pass ground floor rooms. Also appeared to me that youths loitering near reception area were watching guests and looking for an opportunity to follow them in as they (guests) used key cards to gain access to room areas.

Big old place and it's cheaper then other hotels at moment.. Problem is this place needs a refurb, quickly. everywhere is just well used like an old butlins.. shame really as it has a good spot. windows in rooms are all misaligned and dont shut. Tired looking decor and carpets discoloured. Bathrooms are old council looking. It's like a bargain buy off a housing auction and they spent as little as possible to rent it out.. That's probably a fact..🤔🤔

From the lovely, warm, friendly welcome from Dan and Stacy on reception, to the clean room, fresh towels and comfortable beds we totally enjoyed our stay here. We felt safe in the hotel and surrounding area. We also chatted briefly to two other guests who, like us, always stay here when in London so we're not the only ones. Its situated close to Covent Garden, the theatres, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square and the tube. A perfect place to stay.

The toilet was not clean with the previous occupiers visit lodged firmly in the u bend! The room was very dated and badly built and maintained. The in room facilities were very basic & cheap. Our party of three families were located on floors 1, 7 and a different building, despite booking early and together. The family room was right next to the lift on the same floor as the hen parties, but the worst part about our stay was the heating be broken in room 102 and us all having to sleep in the same bed just to keep warm, it was literally like sleeping in a freezer! The best the check out staff could offer was a discount on our next stay, which is something we would NOT be doing again, but it was never emailed to us anyway!

We have stayed at this hotel a few times when having a weekend in London.. had to book a super room due to no availability with the standard rooms, was it worth it, definitely not, there was nothing super about it! It still looks like a basic budget hotel room with an upgraded name. Unfortunately the room itself wasn’t particularly clean, either a problem with the hoover not picking up or the time given to clean each room isn’t long enough, other people’s nasty dirty marks on the back of the bathroom door, the shower tray filled with water very quickly and needed unblocking. But the bed was comfy and we had 2 good nights sleep. Location was perfect, we walked everywhere and didn’t waste time with tubes. The top secret comedy club is just across the road too.. book tickets! We will use it again but I’d book in plenty of time, as that super room truly was not at all super!

Rooms were good and beds comfy although the bathroom could do with a refresh... the service was very good and the location is excellent. A fantastic stay for a quick jaunt in that there London - perfectly positioned for shopping, theatres, bars, restaurants etc. Brilliant! Tip: book early check-in/ late out and get the breakfast- sets you up for the day!

The 5 stars goes solely to the staff here. They are excellent. Very friendly, welcoming and all had a great attitude. I didn't catch names, but everyone we encountered was positive, happy, and really friendly. They couldn't have been more polite! Plenty of staff too! Pizzas till 4am is always a bonus. The room was good. I can't fault our stay. Highly recommended for a place to rest your head whilst in London. We stayed Sunday night, 30 October 2022 for all that worked that night, big thank you!!

Room needs refurbished badly. For the shower we had to stand in the bath and fight with the shower curtain which tried to wrap itself round you. I haven't experienced that in a hotel for 30 years!! The bathroom was shabby and the toilet needed a lot of pressure before it would flush! The location is excellent, but if we came back it would have to be to a super room. Positives: the bed was very clean and comfortable and the staff at reception were extremely understanding and helpful.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. They compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't regret it. Great location! We’ve stayed in London 4 times in different areas this is by far the best! Hardly used the oyster

In this current climate I didn't expect to walk past the same cocktail stick on the floor for 3 days. I ended up asking reception if they could hoover the stairs as part of their cleaning regime.

I came for a work event so I understand my company didn't chip for a penthouse suite, but the room was a little basic. It had all the amenities but you could tell it was a cheap and cheerful room-for-a-night experience than anywhere I'd go for a holiday. Still if you're around for work, the breakfasts are a great start to the day and reasonably priced, the staff are all absolutely lovely & the beds are reasonably comfortable. Can't ask for more.

You can't go wrong with a travelodge. Great value, comfy beds. Unfortunately room had a view of a wall but not an issue to us. No hair dryer in the room which we didn't find out until our hair was soaking wet so unable to ask for one at reception. Very useful luggage storage service which is included in the price. Will be visiting again.

Cheap for the location, reasonable size room, fairly quiet, good happy hour. Carpets need a good shampoo, shower curtain clings to you, no floor towel and water gets everywhere, wasn't particularly clean and no cleaning during our 3 night stay. Chamber man hassling us to get out at 10am on check out day, despite a 'do not disturb' sign out and 12pm checkout, wanted to clean apparently 😂

Fantastic location. The rooms are basic, but generally clean. It felt like being in student halls, but the beds (in our family room consisting of 2x single 1x double) were comfortable enough. Sound travelled a bit from the next room.. you could easily hear them snoring.. so you have to keep your fingers crossed you don’t have noisy neighbours. Breakfast was great and well worth the upgrade to have it included in your stay. Price was spot on too. We’ll definitely be back.

Room was cold, the AC in the ceiling was noisy when on and even on 25 and left for the day the room was still freezing cold so turned it off to be able to sleep. Went with a friend and her bed was tilting to one side so she kept slipping out of the bed.

Great room (well as good as a travel lodge can be!) Fantastic location, short walk from everywhere. Service was good minus left luggage was an unheated, fenced off area outside only protected by scaffolding and the frame of the building far above. Didn’t ask for tickets or anything to see it was our stuff. Other then that, perfect fine.

Without doubt the loveliest service in a hotel in London. Greeted with a smile and felt like the staff was genuinely happy to have us there. Very much enjoyed the tasty and affordable breakfast with plenty to choose from. Location is perfect for a touristy stay - several interesting places are within walking distance like The British Museum or Chinatown. Rooms are warm, clean, equipped with all the necessities and the staff is very helpful. Second time staying here and would choose again :)
