Quite possibly the most disappointing hotel stay I have ever had. Aside from the location and the incredibly lovely doormen, there are very few redeeming qualities to this hotel. The rooms are small and the beds are uncomfortable. The pillows are paper thin. When we arrived to our room, the A/C wasn’t working. We called and maintenance informed us the unit was hard set to heat. The room took 4 hours to cool down so we requested a fan THREE different times and no fan ever arrived. We ordered room service on our last night and ordered the vegan burger on the menu. They brought a chicken sandwich instead because “they don’t have the vegan burger” but didn’t call to ask what kind of replacement we would like. You will be specifically paying for a great location here but that alone doesn’t make it worth it the price. We came here by recommendation and to say we have been completely disappointed is an understatement. Do yourself a favor and find a better place to stay.

Classy hotel with classy staff. This hotel goes above and beyond. I stayed for 7 nights and it was amazing each time. The doormen and concierge are wonderful. The breakfast was amazing and fresh. Service was impeccable. The hotel is well kept. Anyone saying otherwise needs to go stay in a brand new build, this place has kept up on elegance and it super clean. Afternoon tea is a must. I traveled the world for a living, the Peabody in Memphis was my favorite hotel…. Until now. The classy ambiance is shared alike with professional staff members. 10 out of 10 stars.

I have nothing but good things to say about my time at this Hotel. The doormen were personable and helpful. Speaking of helpful, I had a few unusual requests for the concierge folks and they were able to find answers for all my requests from them. Reception was also all one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. I can't rate the meals here because I was always out early and gone all day. I did however partake in their High Tea experience and I count this as the highlight to an outstanding experience. Olga was our server and she made an already great visit to London even better. Her personality and the way she carried herself made the time almost magical. Her presence fills the room as she seemingly floats from table to table. I would certainly stay at this hotel again when visiting London and I would hope Olga would still be there to lighten the day and brighten the room

You know what you are getting when you stay at a Waldorf, and this one is no different. The service was white gloved and super friendly. The rooms are well appointed and clean, on smaller side if you are expecting US standards, but you are in England so don't have that expectation. The showers have the BEST water pressure, you feel like you are under a waterfall! Our room lacked any view, we were on the third floor, 320, but the room was silent. The pool, sauna and fitness center were closed while we visited. The executive lounge was smaller, but great service and food. Full English breakfast and other items in the morning. Snacks and non alcoholic drinks all day. Happy hour drinks and lots of delivered warm/cold bites. The location cannot be beat. It's right in the theatre district and next to the covent garden. Lots of activities and great restaurants within walking distance.

My husband always stays at Hilton but this one was exceptional! We went there for our honeymoon and it was the most romantic room we have ever stayed at! They are in a great location, walking distance from major attractions. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond. Definitely recommend!

Very Happy to expand. The rooms on the website all look brilliant. Elegant, smart, large etc. The room I received was rather more sub-optimal. The bed was incredibly small, as was the room - only enough room for one bed side table. The reception staff stated that that is what I had paid for so there was nothing that they could do. The hotel itself was great. The bar was excellent, however we paid for this level of service with the drinks etc. The bed I would say was smaller than one in a Premier inn and I would expect that I would have gotten more sleep. As the level of sleep that we got during our stay was pretty close to ZERO. I had noticed that on a few occasions I received an email asking me if I required an upgrade. The cynical side of me thinks that as I did not I got a poor room. After a few poor experiences in the Hilton Chain over the past 12 months, I think its time to look elsewhere

Worst experience! We booked 3 rooms at the hotel for a special occasion and surprise for our 86 year old mother. The family had arrived from all over the world to celebrate our mother's birthday. Everything had been paid up front and the funds were taken out the account a couple of weeks prior. On our arrival the booking could not be found and we had to wait over 3 hours in reception while the hotel arranged for alternative accommodation. The surprise we had arranged was completely ruined by the hotel. We had no choice but to wait in the bar area. It had been a number of years since the family had been together so we moved two chairs together but were promptly and very rudely told that was not allowed. The 2 men in the party then chose to stand next to the seated ladies and, again we were told that no standing was permitted. Never have I ever been to a property where we treated so badly. After 3 hours the hotel informed us that we would be moving to another more upmarket property and there would be no additional cost to us. They kindly arranged for a taxi to take us to the Park Lane Hotel. At the Park Lane we spent a further 9 hours trying to sort out the account - 2 hours every morning. They charged us more for the accommodation and have continued to charge the credit card for items not ordered by myself. At the end of the day it was a completely stressful and unpleasant experience. An entre day of precious family time was lost because of incompetent staff.

We stayed for 6 nights and loved the hotel! The bell men were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping kept our room tidy each day. We stayed in a Queen room and were pleasantly surprised with the size and bathroom. The room looked recently renovated. We utilized the pool and fitness center which was really nice. Breakfast was delicious and traditional. Room service was slow and limited late night options.

Brilliant stay. Family room was big and clean. Bath/shower was difficult to get out of and I am more than able. The highlight of our trip was the service we received for the dinning staff. Both breakfast and dinner the staff were amazing, efficient, smart and polite. They made our stay.

We come here for special occasions and each time the hospitality never fails to impress! Herman, bar supervisor, is a great asset to the hotel with his bubbly personality and knowledgeable suggestions. We came when Herman was new, me and my girlfriend was impressed then and even more so now. Well done on your promotion - it is well deserved ! 👏 Andrew in the restaurant was also fantastic, he was very attentive, friendly and managed his team very well. Again we cannot speak highly enough of the hospitality. We will be back again and as always recommend to anyone who will listen!

Stayed overnight whilst on a theatre visit. Hotel conveniently placed within walking distance. Good, clean room on sixth floor with comfortable queen bed and with all usual amenities. Good breakfast choice and friendly staff. I have dropped a star because of the poor finishing in the bathroom...gaps around shower door bottom, ill fitted skirtings and bath panel let it down and could easily be sorted out to look as smart as it should for an hotel of this type. Would be happy to stay again and recommend from this initial visit.

Had afternoon tea with my 3 quiet teenage daughters on August 23. The atmosphere with the harpist was very nice and the staff was friendly and not busy. The service in general was disappointing. No milk was offered with the tea and we had to ask for the cutlery that was missing on the table as the service staff didn't even notice it when they served the food. No extra tea was offered during the time we were there so we asked for it and they didn't remove all the empty tea pots when the new tea was brought ( imagine what a table for 4 looks like with 8 tea pots on it). No saucers under the tea pots. The tea was not poured for us. They did offer more sandwiches but not more of the cakes and scones. I think that in a 5 star hotel ice/tap water should be served without having to ask for it. Nobody asked us if we had enjoyed it at the end. The restaurant was very quiet and there was enough staff available to have offered better standard.

Me and my wife had dinner here, and it was very, very nice. You could not fault the food, and the service was excellent. The restaurant itself is nicely presented with wonderful decor. We liked it here everything from the look of the hotel and even the very polite gentleman on the door made our evening great. Well, worth a visit even for just a drink at the bar 🍸

We stayed completely on our Hilton points for 7 nights and couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. The food and beverage options are wonderful and not skimped on, the housekeeping is on point, the concierge and doormen are kind and helpful, and the location is super convenient. And we enjoyed a complimentary upgrade for the entirety of our stay which doesn’t hurt. Mostly, during a holiday stay when staff most definitely would prefer to not be working, they couldn’t have been more polite and enjoyable.

After visiting the hotel for Beauty and the beast afternoon tea which was wonderful. The staff were amazing informing us of everything that was happening with the colour changing drinks and unique patisserie’s. Would highly recommend. The harp was a beautiful touch playing disney / classical songs. Guests of the hotel are treated to a wonderful service by the hotel staff who make sure that all needs are met by their attentiveness.

If you want to be walking distance from amazing museums, theater and tons of fun pubs, this is a good choice. If you are looking for serenity and calm, this is not the right neighborhood! Once in the hotel, it’s calmer and the pace feels more relaxed. Our room was…odd. Very comfortable bed, useful desk area, adequate bath, but our “view” was of the back of another building, which was disconcerting. The service is attentive, if not memorably friendly. However, the doorman was absolutely charming! Breakfast in the executive lounge was nice (good selection, helpful service), but the room, again, had some oddities. One of our tables was positioned such that if I pushed back my chair, it pulled on the electrical cord of a lamp that nearly fell on the next table. Oops. Overall, a good place to stay if you like being in the center of things. The Tower and The Globe are a little far, but the British Museum, the Courtauld Gallery and too many other great museums to list are all right there, as is the whole West End theater district.

The location and staff are great. There is a great gym you have access to. Our only complaint were the beds. You would expect a nicer mattress for $600 a night. It was a hard cheap feel that I couldn’t wait to not sleep on again.

I checked in on the 31st of Jan with my husband Osithegbemhe and kids to watch the Lion King Show at the Lyceum theatre and had a lovely time. We got upgraded, and the receptionist, Curtis, went above and beyond by helping us with our luggage when the lovely concierge, Daniel, was busy with other customers. Curtis stepped in to ensure that we were not kept waiting. It was a pleasant atmosphere. We will be back again.

Stayed here for my friend's birthday. We had a twin room. The housekeeper forgot to clean it. This was the only disappointment. Otherwise, great location, good food and drinks menu, very cozy, good service at the reception and the bar. Lovely breakfast. Highly recommend.

Went here for a wedding. Reception hall was actually larger than the actual wedding suite. Doormen weren't as warm and welcoming, upon entry had to open and hold the door for family (buggies, prams and wheelchairs etc), whilst holding kids Halls and suites themselves have fantastic decor. Parking is an issue though, but that's the case anywhere in central

Mixed feelings about this hotel, location is fantastic, service we experienced was great the lounge is one of the better ones that you don’t mind spending time in, breakfast okay but nothing out of the ordinary. The fault with this hotel is that everything just feels a bit cheap, while we were upgraded to a king the room just felt small and tired. Go for the location just keep your expectations mid range.

Great Great location, courteous staff makes this a perfect hotel to stay. We stayed for 4 nights during our London visit and loved it in every bit. The breakfast spread was good, rooms were extremely clean and service was top notch. We would definitely come back to this hotel in London again!!

Firstly, I want to mention mine and my girlfriends experience at the bar, Herman was an amazing waiter really making out evening feel special. His kind and helpful attitude really shined through his work at the hotel. All the best to him for making our time here that much better. The reception were lovely, also helping me make my girlfriends birthday during the stay that bit extra special. They organised our room to be ready with a happy birthday message and desert as we entered our room. Which was excellent. The only down side we had with our room on the third floor was the shower temperature, one moment cold the next warm, which wasn’t the best experience. Overall, lovely staff all around (including doorman), amazing location and worth the money.

Great location and amazing staff. The rooms are a bit old, but that's kind of the point. It's an icon from days past and it keeps those charms and does then well. Shout out to the hotel staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The Executive Lounge is always well managed and stocked with the essentials.

Having stayed at the Waldorf many times over several years. My latest experience was simply excellent. Chosen for the location as I was going to the theatre with my daughter. The door staff are always welcoming and frankly deserve to be commended as they make the first impression. The reception staff who in the past are a little hit and miss on this occasion continued the excellent service of the door staff. We were given a choice of rooms and my daughter was given a play book with stickers and games to play. Finding items in the hotel which she loved. This led her back to the door staff who really played along which she loved. A special thanks to them for this. Our room was clean, and sufficient for our stay. The only real downsides were the bar staff. I seemed to continually have to find someone to take my order for a drink/coffee which didn’t feel that fitting for the Waldorf. Overall the experience was good, location was excellent and the door staff and reception staff excellent.

We spent such a lovely time at this Hotel. November 21-23, 2023. Dean at the door set the stage for magnificent recommendations. From show to shopping. The two people at check-in (Bella and Tyron- I’m probably not remembering that correctly) were also amazing. This location is wonderful for a Broadway show. Our favorites show were “choir of man” and “frozen”. Breakfast was wonderful.

Really like the historical hotel. It's convenient located to all the theaters and Chinatown. Nothing can beat that. Be aware that there are still stairs on each floor if you are carrying heavy luggage. The first time we couldn't get into the gym or swimming pool. We did take a tour the second time. It's nice to have a gym and pool. However, the ceiling in the gym is kind of low making it a bit claustrophobic to me. The room is nice with good lighting though there wasn't any good view outside. It comes with coffee and 2 bottles of water. The mini fridge is full of drinks but none is free. The breakfast is very nice with some English breakfast selections. The dinning room is beautifully decorated. If your stay doesn't include the breakfast, you can still grab a coffee and croissant to go. The major complaint is that the toilet is really tall unless you are over 6 feet tall.

Overall a nice hotel but some improvements needed. It's almost impossible to find a seat in the executive lounge over the weekends. Same with breakfast. Hotel management should plan for capacity a bit better as I would expect this in Waldorf for sure. I could see lots of disappointed guests. Otherwise, good customer service, friendly staff, perfect location.

Lovely stay for my birthday. Balloons on bed and a little cake were waiting for us in our room. Staff super friendly. Bar meals and cocktails great. Only one complaint...I think a dress code for breakfast should be stated. I wasn't impressed when a sweaty person in shorts and armless tshirt , straight from the gym, attacked the buffet wearing no mask. I feel the staff should have said something.

Amazingly helpful and kind door staff. They’re funny and welcoming. The reason not 5 stars is because although their executive lounge and breakfast are beautifully decorated for the holidays, the availability of food and service in those two areas was pretty slim. The lounge had no wine or alcohol drinks or a good selection of snacks (as other lounges do) and the breakfast staff kept forgetting everything we ordered, they seemed to need training. I also saw someone wiping tables drop the rag on the floor, have the rug stuck and dragged in their shoes while walking around the table and then picked it up to continue cleaning the table…

My daughter had lunch at the Waldorf last Thursday. The food was excellent, but what made the day was our server, Jason. Not only was he very professional, he was very keen to make sure our lunch would be perfect. But his personality and humour was outstanding, he made the day. Can't praise him enough, he is a credit to your hotel. Thank you Jason, your a star x

The Waldorf is a high end hotel, as such it should accommodate residents and paying guests with a bar that is open to residents only. The bar was full of non residents and we were unable to actually sit down and get a drink which is ridiculous for a hotel of this calibre and cost. The hotel room was clean and of good quality; but I would encourage the management to review their policy on allowing so many non residents into the bar.

I've stayed at hotels around the world, and the Waldorf Hilton is the only one that makes me feel that I am at home. It is a classic hotel with beautifully furnished rooms, unlike the cookie-cutter rooms that have become so common these days. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile for you. The Executive Lounge is a quiet oasis in a very hectic city. The hotels scores a 10 out of 10 in every category.

Booked a month ago as we were going to see a show. Fantastic reception on arrival, we arrived early and were able to check in early, and leave our case for the day once checked out the next day . Clean rooms, delicious food and good range for breakfast, very friendly door man. Only negative was when we booked we were told we could have inter connecting doors, but on arrival were told the rooms we had booked don't come with interconnecting doors but would be next to each other, so my husband and I had to split between both rooms ( we had booked directly with them on the phone). Also we found the room a bit too warm!

Very nice place. Good, Friendly but professional staff. Room was real nice. Shower was powerful and beds big enough (queen). Didn't eat at the hotel but looked really nice. A little note to hotel management. Gloss paint needs a freshen up and so does the hatch to the extraction on the ceiling, plus a little more coffee and sugar in the room needed. But said this it wouldn't stop me from booking again.

Wonderful, informative lady checked me in. Upgraded and discusses various stays. Room overlooked the waldorf sign and was well maintained and in keeping with the venue. The food in the restaurant offered a reasonable price for a tasteful menu. Ended up buying four courses as just wanted more!

Exceptional! We stayed 3 nights in December and had an incredible stay. Worth every penny as the location couldn't of been better. The bar drinks were fantastic and we could definitely tell there was much attention to detail for every bottle stocked. The staff were kind and helpful and the rooms were clean. Dean, the door greeter was the most memorable who made our trip extra special. He was incredibly helpful and had great recommendations for us so we could see as much as London has to offer in the short 3 days we were there. We looked forward to seeing him every morning. (Thanks for making our stay extra special, we still talk about it today!)

This hotel is in a historic building. It is really well kept, and my wife and I enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was worth the money and everything about this stay was nice. It is centrally located and public transportation is right outside the front door.

Really enjoyed how clean the rooms were in this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and patient. This was my first time in London and didn’t know how to turn on the lights or use the blow dryer and staff was more than happy to assist and help when I was asking for something I probably should have already known. They have a great morning breakfast and the front door men are very helpful and will assist you in getting a reasonable cab to the airport.

My wife and I stayed here for a short stay at the end of a long trip through Europe and loved it. This is a historic hotel in the heart of a very happening area in London. The room was really nice and refreshing. The linens were clean and the room was tidy when we arrived. The service is what set this hotel apart. We were treated extremely well by the entire staff and it made our entire London stay feel even better! I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would personally stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great five days at the Hilton. Rooms are huge and mostly updated. Bathrooms are lovely and spacious though the shower/tub combo was challenging to get in and out. Very clean and attention to detail by the staff were evident through our visit. Excellent central location. And the bar is amazing.

Lovely stay and most relaxing. Only complaint would be the room decorations for the Anniversary solely consisted of a Towel folded into the shape of a Swan. Not sure that's really Anniversary material and not really worth the additional cost in my opinion. Other than that I have no criticism and the staff are overwhelmingly helpful to a fault. Long may it serve the tourist trade!

We had a lovely stay at the Waldorf and felt well looked after. Everyone we met was friendly and kind and made us feel like guests (as opposed to just another paying customer). The location is great for any shows (the main reason we were there). We didn't dine there unfortunately as it was just a 1 nighter for us (show and stay for my wife's birthday). We have a five guys ritual post show but they had left a lovely birthday gesture in our room which was well received!! I had also booked breakfast at The Breakfast Club the next morning else we definitely would have gone down.

Expensive because of the pool, water was a bit salty? The interior design needs a revamp , most of all lamp shades were broken or damaged on the room floor. Room was very good. Colour in swimming pool was grey, bland and boring, steam room was not working.

We’ve just come back from a 7 day stay and had a lovely. We liked the way our accommodation block linked to the main hotel via an underground tunnel in the basement, where you can hire ski equipment and the children’s facilities can be found by the spa. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Indoor spa is lovely, fresh flavoured drinking water, nuts, fruit and plenty of towels always available. Outdoor pool always warm.

The hotel is extremely stylish, quiet and very well located. The room (Queen Superior) was great, we have rarely slept so well in a hotel. The breakfast buffet was okay. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. We will come back in September.

I recently dined at Homage and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Despite paying a high price for our meal, the food was not up to the expected standard. Some of the dishes tasted burned, while others lacked seasoning altogether. Additionally, we found bits of cork in our wine and when we asked the staff to replace it, they initially refused and claimed it was just bubbles. After further pressing, the manager noticed the cork and replaced one of the glasses of wine but only with wine from an already open bottle behind the bar. To add to the frustration, the service was subpar, especially considering the £20 service charge we had to pay. While most of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our meal, the manager displayed an arrogant and dismissive attitude. When we raised our concerns about the food and wine, the manager was unhelpful and not receptive to our feedback. Finally, we discovered that the food we received was only worth £112, which means we were overcharged and scammed out of our money. This is unacceptable, particularly given the high prices we paid for our meal. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience. While the location and decor were pleasant, the poor quality of the food, service, and management left a sour taste in our mouths. I hope that the restaurant will take these issues seriously and make the necessary changes to provide a better dining experience for its customers.
