Completely scammed me out of a night's stay, selling my £120 room to somebody else, forcing me to at great expense find alternative accommodations for myself and elderly mother. Rude people on the phone who tell lies and hang up. Refusing to refund. Poor experience with booking.com app as well — since the property cancelled the stay, I was unable to pursue a refund. Not recommended. Dishonest thieves.

It's a two star hotel and the rooms are clean . Staff are nice . In view of this it deserves another star . Well off me anyway. Thanks

Place is in really bad condition. The moment you open bathroom door, the entire apartment reeks of cigarettes. The bedsheets weren't clean and old bedsheets were rolled up and put in the closet. Really great when you want to hang your clothes of course. The location is also bad and really loud (police with sirens every 5 minutes) and if you're lucky like me you'll have super loud neighbors. The radiator was off and it took 2 days until it worked properly (great for a 3-day stay). The receptionist was really friendly though, the only good memory I have of that place.

Not the best Place to be. The bedding and mattresses were a bit dirty. The TV was very small and had few channels. The room was cleaned every 3 days. It was very loud...The kitchen was disgusting, you couldn't use it. The staff had little interest in anything. It was okay for sleeping, but not recommended.

For our Abba Voyage experience the location was fabulous. We were glad to only have booked one night. First got offered the studio (as we were with 3), buy we couldn’t handle the bad hygiene and not appreciate the left behind milk butter and bread. Beds were fine. Bring earplugs as on very loud road. Overall will avoid coming back. Next door The Best Breakfast Place though called Grounded’. Now that I would reccommend! Lovely people too (unlike next door, hotel manager was not interested at all)

Nice hotel. Bit grim when you look at it from the outside but the room was clean and the gentleman on the front desk was very polite and helpful.

The room was dirty, esp under the bed, had to wedge the door with a small bar of soap and newspaper to stop it from rattling!! unnecessary furniture which was not really needed. Leaky toilet, curtain was disgusting, people in the opposite room very noisy. Kitchen was disgusting, the staff was very unfriendly. Very dull entrance, dark and miserable, reception desk was held with masking tape, the decor was drab!!! This should be called Hotel Sh@#tty stay instead of Hotel City Stay. Would not come back or recommend to anyone

Close to the underground 🚇. But the rooms are just a place to sleep. Does have bath and wc. But it is tiny. Very good service got keys very late in the night after a delayed flight.

Rooms clean but basic. Location was perfect for us. Didn't need to go into any London 'Zones'. Parking available.

Good place for a short stay. The room was clean and large. A kettle would do wonders for the rooms, but a communal kitchen is available. Next to a DLR station and minutes from a few different tube stations so it's easy to get to. Friendly reception who showed me my room since the building is a bit confusing

Ive had multiple stays here over the last week or two. They have a selection of different rooms to cater for whatever your needs may be. From single rooms with shared bathroom/kitchen areas to fully self contained studio flats. The guy has been very helpful and im currently on my 3rd or 4th stay here right now and im sure i will be booking again before long. Great location too

Room booking scam OVER £160! We booked three rooms for a total of seven people, five minutes after booking the receptionist called and said that our one room was unavailable but two rooms accommodate seven people. The value of one room is over £160 It's been over 5 weeks and neither the hotel nor booking can help us get our money back for no service! Plus the hotel is a disaster. Let me explain. A complete tragedy to stay away from this hotel. We asked for a towel that belonged to the bed, we didn't get it, no dryer, the water does not go down in the shower, broken curtain, broken bed, not enough towels, strange smells, constant noise.

My relative was booked into this hotel as it was reasonably priced and right next to the DLR station as well as a short distance from family. The service was mediocre which is probably because they know it's well situated for someone on a tight budget in London. My family member was given a room on the 3rd floor up 4 steep flights of stairs which wasn't great given she their knee problem. I found it a challenge getting up and down the stairs to visit her. To be fair, it's what they had available at short notice. The hotel was generally clean and tidy. The bed looked comfortable although my relative didn't sleep a wink. The bed base of the divan looked a bit grubby but the bedding looked comfortable and inviting. The bathroom looked clean, but my relative expressed concern that the hot water was too hot and feared being scolded by it. There were a few shops and a petrol station close by, a drive through McDonald's about a 10 minute walk away and an Enterprise branch across the road which could be an attractive option for someone wanting to hire a car to drive to Essex or Hertfordshire which are not very far from this location. Overall, If you're looking for a clean place to sleep at night in London with access to public transport and close proximity to central London for a reasonable price I think it's a good option to consider.

It's like so so experience starting staff was very good but they were not so good while leaving the hotel. I can really give 1 start hotel No proper shower it was broken and lock was not working properly.

Lack of research led us here and you certainly get what you pay for. Friendly staff but the place is very tired. Contrary to other reviews there are many food outlets not to far up the road and a co op/petrol station directly opposite.

The whole hotel is dirty. The smell in the common areas is terrible. The bed sheets were dirty. The room is in a really old status and the furniture is dirty and smells bad.

The most terrible place I have ever stayed in it's filthy. I went 2 days without a shower because the shower was so disgusting and I slept on bed not in it. How a place like this is allowed stay open is beyond me as it is a health Hazzard. Should be closed down
