BED BUGS!!!! One star is definitely too much... My boyfriend booked the hotel and I really really regret now that I didn't read reviews before he did it... I rarely write reviews but this time I really have to. NEVER EVER go to this hotel!! it's just ridiculous. So dirty everywhere, I got bitten by bed bugs. Everything looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages!!! I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone ever!

On arrival we were greeted by two members of staff. Witch both was very rude to us. Also never wanted to give the WIFI password out when it says FREE WIFI. We where showed to our room we asked for a double bed got two singles put together the room was dirty. And off milk. Taps where mouldy and hadn't been cleaned in a while one shower out of three showers worked. Then in the morning we went for breakfast. On the front of the hotel it says '' FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST'' all we got was two toast abd two eggs. And some beans. When asked where was the rest of the breakfast the cook rolled his eyes and cooked the rest in a microwave. Would not recommend.

Worst hotel that I ever stayed. I'm wondering how it's still in business 🤔 We've got BED BUGS for souvenirs from our stay in London + the shower tried to kill my girlfriend. Oh, yeah, lets not forget the nice smell of Raid for bugs in corridors ...

LIARS! Emailed me as I was on the train to London on a Saturday to say my room has been cancelled for that evening. When I called them claimed previous tennant was refusing to leave the room and alternate rooms where completely fully booked. Absolute garbage story , terrible customer service. Charlatan's Now left in terrible situation where I have to book a hotel at last minute. LIARS

The worst and corrupted hotel in London. They are racist and if someone offer more money they will give your booking to someone else because of money. The worst front desk service

ANY 5 STAR REVIEW IS 100% FAKE! Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, everything was dirty looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months (very weird smell, dirty, dusty, used cotton buds on the floor, stained bedsheets, blood on wall, hairs on toilet seat/sink/bath) no headboard, bed was broken, very loud during the night with doors banging and shouting. Strong weird smell, run down room, tv didn’t work. Had to sleep with a hoodie on just so my face didn’t touch the pillow directly and had to leave window open all night due to a damp/mold mixed with ciggerette smell. Guy who works at the desk has no manners or people skills either. Over all wouldn’t recommend to anyone, wish I looked into the reviews and wish I was joking when I say this but would have rather have stayed in a bunk bed in a hostel as I’m sure it would be cleaner

they cancelled our room without any information and didn't call us, saying they sent us an email with the cancellation supposedly 3,5 hours before check in!! Because of some maintenance supposedly although the room is free on the website 0 out of 5 stars because they also lied about the 24h reception and breakfast

Same as Ibis and a little more Hartley because The ousekhousekeepingrtment girls were always talking in the corridor and sometimes having interesting conversations too. Front of the house both men were excellent service too. Shortage plants. And window cant open properly.Overall all of them were outstanding. Thanks.

Spent here 9 nights. Honestly, after booking the place and reading the reviews I felt like crying. No possibility to refund. The comments seem to be from competitors.. Nothing about bed bugs.. rooms are tidy and cleaned everyday. Staff is awesome and they will help you with anything. And most important you are safe. Left my laptops/money in the room everyday. I've also gave reception euros for them to change for me as I had to leave early and arrive late. Perfect. If you want to stay in London, 20 meters from buses (every 5 minutes)going to Sratford station on BUDGET , this is the place to stay. Now, don't complaint if you are used to higher standards.. you're paying for a 2 star hotel for "f sake".. you should be happy places like this still exist in London. I'll come back.. great staff

I have stayed at dozens of hotels in Stratford/Forest Gate for business trips and this was on the top of my list of stays in East London. Staff had great hospitality services, amazing gentlemen at reception with a great attitude, felt very welcomed and the bed was super comfy. I recommend it!

The first lie that the hotel told us was before we even got into the building. The sign outside, and even the sign in the picture they used to advertise, says they do breakfasts. They did not, which I found out when I asked what time it would be. Due to the heat, they did give us a fan, but said fan needed fixing (which I had to do myself) before it worked. The mattress I was sleeping on needed replacing a few years ago, as the springs were very obvious, but the mattress gave little to no support. Because the windows didn't open very far, the ventilation was poor and I spent a lot of time in the night struggling to sleep. There was mold in the shower, and the door to the shower was so small that I had to turn at an odd angle just to get in. All in all, it was cheap and apparently I still managed to not get what I paid for.

To be frank, if there was an option for putting 0 stars I'd go for that. liars, corrupt, deceiving, lazy, no English, can't even understand sentences, they don't even understand simple English phrases. every single thing was a problem at that Hotel; from the moment I stepped in...

The hotel's really good and well presented with homily rooms

Good staff at the desk, good cleaning services, good breakfast. The low rate is due to the mold in the room and the moquette in the corridor. The smell of those two elements was too strong. I would recommend this hotel if they fix these problems.

The staircase was filthy, the whole building smelt so bad , once we got to the room, I wanted to make a cup of tea and the tea spoon was dirty as well as the tea cup. An hour into my stay i see bed bugs crawling on my duvet, I had put the bed bug into the tea cup to go and show the staff. The man at reception said it’s not a bed bug and it’s not his fault, to rectify the situation after arguing with him he had offered me another room, if one room has it they all do, he failed to understand this, I wanted a refund but the man had said to come in the morning to speak to him he manager knowing I have no where to stay local , so we just left the place and went back home and had ended our trip. Very disappointed, do not recommend this place to anyone, very poor. If I could give 0 stars I would

The rooms look clean but it was dusty, I'm allergic to dust and I started to sneeze and had very itchy eyes, the bathroom was clean but the toilet rim was dirty.

My room and the bathroom stank badly. The Wifi was free and had good coverage. The beds had bedbugs but there was daily housekeeping so they made the beds daily and vacuummed the floors. The Breakfast was tasty but quite simple. Staff were friendly but some were hard to communicate with in English (they had strong accents). Overall I had an average time staying at Heartly Hotel. I probably wouldn't return.

Great for someone wanting cheap room for one night would recommend for that. We paid £70 for two nights so was not expecting much it was very basic the decor needs updating badly but the bedding and furniture was very clean and all the staff are polite and helpful because it was a shared shower room with multiple showers in I would not stay again it was very uncomfortable as a female to be in their (each cubicle had a lockable door but so small you had to stand in the shower to take cloths on and off)
