It's very basic. Second time I've been here and two times the alarm went off late at night. Noisy in the corridors with slamming doors echoing. Everything is a bit dated. The telephone was not connected which I informed them about so I couldn't dial into reception to ask why the fire alarm has gone off instead I had to get dressed, go to reception to ask only to be told a shower had tripped the alarm. The bed is comfortable, the place nice and warm. The room is small. The floor is laid with vinyl that is peeling. The bed light kept flickering. Despite my list of things I still enjoyed staying there. The staff were extremely amiable and the room was functional plus warm at night which is a plus for me as I feel the cold. I would definitely go again.

Very well located with regards to Clapham South Tube station. I would say that the standard of the room in terms of size and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The cleaning staff seemed uninterested. The room floor was dirty, the bathroom wasn't well cleaned in the nooks and crannies - and these things are important and make a big difference to the impression given. The top of the coat rack was filthy. I can't believe it had ever been cleaned. The standard of in room furniture was very poor too; the shelf wasn't very secure and there wasn't even a proper wardrobe. Wallpaper was coming off one surface. I would suggest to them do a thorough review of your cleaning and maintenance staff, set a higher minimum standard of cleanliness and maintain the furnishings properly.

The hotel is convenient for Clapham common and Clapham South underground station. No evening restaurant or bar. Rooms are basic but clean. Tight on tea coffee facilities in the room, no milk cartons. If it's a base you are looking for and you spend most of your time out and about, the hotel is fine.

I stayed here for a week before moving into my flat and I wish I hadn’t. I arrived with three large bags, but my first room was literally the size of the bed, and that was it. I had to put my bags in the shower to be able to move around. I figured I’d deal with it, but when I took a shower, the water was FREEZING (this was in January). It never warmed up and I couldn’t even wash my hair it was so uncomfortably cold. After two nights I asked to switch rooms, which after they realized what room I was in and how long I was staying finally agreed. But I had to lug all my bags back downstairs (through the tiny hallways) and wait for a few hours while they turned the rooms over. My new room was still small, but perfectly acceptable - bonus that it had hot water, too. The rest of my stay was without incident in that room - the temperature was a little hard to control but not terrible. WiFi is expensive to do every day but I had to as I didn’t yet have a phone in the UK. Convenient to the Northern line but ultimately if I were to do it again, I’d spend a little more for a better experience.

The hotel is simply good for sleeping and showering. There really isn't space for two people to walk in the room. There is one fan and a very small window. There is WiFi but paid for, breakfast isn't free either. Staff is friendly and the price is reasonable and the underground is at walking distance.

My room had marble wallpaper which I had never seen before 😲. Bed was fairly comfy. Couldn’t get subtitles on the TV which was a bit of a let down but not a priority for most people. Toilet and shower looked nice and clean. Didn’t use the shower so can’t comment. I had a continental breakfast for £5 which was nice. Bit expensive though but hey London prices. Wi-fi didn’t work. I tried to pay £4 for 12 hours but couldn’t get on it. I had no service or 4G either.

Tiny room with no window, smelling strongly of bleach and dusty. Wallpaper peeling of the walls and flaky paint. This room was in the part of the hotel clearly undergoing renovation work. Yes, the price was low for London but guests should be aware what they are buying. A youth hostel standard and on the lower end of the scale.

It is located in front of a very cute park and is super close to an underground station, so it’s not a problem if it isn’t in the centre of London. It was quite clean and the people kind, but the room we got was very small, it even had a corner of the bed attached to the wall so we had to cross the bed itself to reach, from the door, the bathroom and a window that was also half broken and couldn’t be closed at night (biggest problem because the streets in front of it weren’t quite peaceful). At the end, we weren’t looking for something super luxurious but for what I got I wish the price was lower.

Staff were very rude from day 1. Unfortunately I've had to spend the week here. The room feels like it should be a storage room, almost as if they've squeezed it in to make a few more quid. No window to the outside. Power was turning on and off quite a lot. There's a chair in the room but it's pointless because of the size of the roo. Can't move the chair out to use it because it's basically touching the bed. Bed was comfortable and shower was clean but very cold! After getting out of the shower its beyond freezing! Decor is dated in the main lobby. Watch your step on the carpet tiles if you're staying on the ground floor. I would say cheap and cheerful however this wouldn't be a fair review..... Cheap.

We stayed here last minute. The rooms were clean but very small. Staff were helpful and friendly. All in all a good few days was spent here. Very central for where we needed to get to.

Great hotel, great staying at an excellent low price (if it is real a budget). The bathroom was lovely and room was good, even for a really small one. I loved my stay
