A
very
average
luxury
hotel
-
I'm
not
sure
why
it
is
"London's
#1
Hotel".
The
service
is
nothing
compared
to
that
of
the
Four
Seasons.
One
member
of
staff
(working
for
housekeeping
-
russian
accent)
was
so
incredibly
rude
to
me
over
the
phone
when
inquiring
about
the
alteration
service,
I
couldn't
believe
it.
If
there
are
any
phone
call
recordings,
I
invite
the
management
to
listen
to
how
she
spoke
to
me.
Totally
unacceptable,
and
she
should
not
be
working
any
sort
of
customer
service
related
job.
Some
of
the
doormen
are
also
busier
gossiping
than
actually
doing
their
job.
Few
times
was
the
door
ever
opened
for
me.
I
only
tried
the
room
service
food,
and
it
was
very
bland
and
average.
Beware,
if
you
order
UberEats
or
any
"outside
food",
there
is
a
£25
fee.
The
gym
closes
at
7pm
-
way
too
early.
One
positive
is
that
there
is
a
very
good
and
fast
laundry/alteration
service.
But
that's
the
bare
minimum
for
any
luxury
hotel.
Overall,
it's
highly
unlikely
that
I'll
ever
stay
at
The
Dorchester
again,
unless
I
have
no
other
options.
