Disappointing! if you want relaxation and rest, avoid this place. it is the most miserable place I stayed, but the need was too great, if it were for the conditions I would have left from the moment I entered. there are many aspects negatives, but I will exemplify a few: pungent smell, noise, mold, ants, limestone, deplorable refrigerator, dirty sheets, uncomfortable bed, doors without handles, everything needs to be renovated because it leaves much to be desired. only one good aspect - the staff is kind!

The hotel is shabby, furniture is in really bad condition. The bed looked clean but the sheets were really damp. The room was very noisy from the street outside which I could deal with but the best was the shower. Not much power to put it mildly and then I used the shower gel dispenser and this smelly brown goo fell out which was disgusting! A few more tries and actual shower gel came out, which I obviously didn’t use! I would recommend finding a different hotel. It is right by the tube station and next to a Sainsbury’s local which was a plus!

Rooms were dirty, A/C was thick with dust, showerhead covered in limescale. Rooms situated right next to the Overground tracks, luckily we were exhausted from travelling all day or else we wouldn't have been able to sleep at all! Only redeeming feature was the location, close to the Tube Station, lots of food options and a bus stop right outside so you can escape as fast as you can!

I loved staying at this hotel with my kids. It is budget friendly and the staff seemed to be super friendly too. Subway is right at the doorstep of the hotel and good restaurants/ shops nearby too:)

Some of the rooms are right under the overground and they failed to mention that. I was in a room that vibrated every 1 min when a train passed, I couldn't get a wink of sleep. The rooms could be cleaner. All floors are accessible only by a very narrow flight of stairs, no lifts. Staff don't help with your luggage. When I came I was helped by a homeless man to get my luggage to my room. When I complained about the train noise, I was put in the room on last floor, like an attic and after checking out, I practically had to push my bags all the way down because the staff didn't help even though I asked for help. The breakfast left a lot to he desired. No variety. Just bread, 2 miserly slices, eggs scrambled or fried, cereal and sausage. Every day. For an average price of £50-60 a night, I expected a lot better than that.

friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and beds. Bus and tube station very close by, very handy and quick to get into town. Train can be noisy at night. Perfect for cheap and cheerful short trips.

Not a great experience. Room was pretty bad, the bed was tough and uncomfortable and toilet was partly broken. Window was thin and wouldn't shut fully so the noise in combination with the tough bed kept me up most of the night. While the location is good and the price low, I cant say I would ever want to come here again.

Spit and sawdust of the Hotel world! Perfect location by the tube, and was clean in my room, but really needs a lot of £££s spent on the place to give it a good vibe. I only stayed here as a place to put my head down after a night up town. The guy who served me when I arrived was very nice and friendly.

Short walk from Victoria Park & did the job for the night. Only qualms was the awful smell emanating from the shower, the bathroom door that wouldn’t lock, the shaking of the bed every time a tube went past and the suspicious stains on the bedding. Other than that, the beds were comfy and the room did us good for the night. Plus, the Sainsbury’s next door was perfect!

Poor room. Rooms are dirty and need updating. Worse than a hostel. I would not stay ever or recommend

I give 5 stars for the Tarantino vibes, the sounds of the overground, creaky bed, no functional tv, broken windows….just sublime. If your looking for a full immersion adventure and you don’t have money to travel to Hollywood, go for it. Just mind the step in the toilet of the room 116, it’s a killer, my friend lost a finger…. Enjoy the experience

Not worth this money. If this would not be in London, would not worth more than 30 eur/night max. But, it is London 🙂. We were tired and needed room only for few hours till our flight, so we survived. But for few days I would never book it. Worker on reception was very nice and polite, all stars for him 🙂.

The room was very simple but clean. There was a refginerator which was a nice plus. I couldn't load my phone cause the power points were so old fashioned that my phone charger didn't fit there. It was a big minus. Room was more expensive than it's quality. The location was good, near to the hotel was the subway station, shops and restaurants. The service was okay but not very polite. The staff were rude. When checking in, there was a tag where said that there's problems with paying by card. The receptionist said I can anyway pay by card. It didn't work and he said there must not be money on my card. I knew there was so I told I'm going to draw out cash. If the hotel have problems with paying by card, they should not blame a client about that. It's rude. I left to the airport at night and went to the reception at 3:00. I asked if a receptionist could call me a taxi because I was tired and didn't know how to use local buses and how get to the airport bus station by them. Receptionist called a taxi but blamed me very rudely why didn't I take a bus. Some other clients did, he said. When I asked from where the local bus leaves and how should I pay online, he didn't guide me. He only said I should had told him earlier. Very very rude service! You should never judge a client's choices. If I want to use taxi, I do - it's not the staff's business even when they don't want to help.

Great quality concerning the cost. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room simple and clean. The Bethnal green tube station literally 5 steps from the hotel. Much more cheaper than anything else in London, even the hostels. In 10-15 minutes you can be at the central London with the tube. The line has service until very late. We were hesitant booking after some bad reviews we read, but the reality wasn't even close. Sure it's an old hotel but it is really clean. The mattress and pillows were soft and the bathroom spotless.

The room we first got was very dirty and very small! The walls, the bathroom and the floor was terribly dirty. The shower was filled with mould. After we talked to the guy at the reception they gave us a new room, this room was super loud and every time a tram ran by the whole building started shaking. Woke up several times both nights. Sadly I would recommend everyone to invest a little bit more money to get a much better and comfortable stay somewhere else :(

I arrived and was told that there was a problem with my room, so I would have to go to their other branch down the road. I went there and there was no change when I paid, so I was told to ask for it the following morning (they did give me approximate change the next morning, but 18p less than it should have been). Room was tiny and scruffy, which I would expect for the price, so I don't mind that. Mattress was very bad and uncomfortable. Worst thing was I woke up COVERED in insect bites (window was closed and there weren't mosquitos, it was something in the bed like fleas). Have been itching for two days since leaving :( By far the worst place I have ever stayed in my life, would never go back. AVOID! Pay the extra to stay somewhere sanitary.

Run down and tired, but it works somehow. Great location 10 meters from Betnahl Green tube, a pub, coffee shop etc. And sheap.

Avoid not worth it. Pay the extra money for a decent place. Everything looks beat up, scared to take a shower as the bath doesn’t even look clean, floor is full of stains, could hardly sleep with trains coming through regularly making loud noise and shaking bedroom. Promoted free breakfast but was asked to pay. Staff service is average at best. You won’t see me here again. The only positive was that the tv had Netflix, YouTube and itv, bbc etc…

It was the worst. The guy charged us more and the room was not worth 20 pounds even. The sheets were dirty not changed and the room was stinking as well. The trains are as if passing inside the room. Overall the worst and the most dirty place 🤮
