Stayed here five nights to do some sight seeing around London. The hotel is within walking distance to the tube and to some major attractions. There are also great restaurants right around the corner. The staff is very friendly. They have a great outdoor bar area on the second floor that overlooks the court yard that is really under rated. If you get time in the evening check it out. We opted to include the breakfast in our room rate and it was well worth it. The breakfast is buffet style with a choice of drink. They do make a great mocha so ask for that when seated. If you get a chance, read House of Spies before you come, you will be thrilled.

I recently stayed at St. Ermin's Hotel in London, and let me tell you, it's a history buff's dream come true. The place is packed with stories from World War II spies that give it an intriguing aura. The lobby is simply grand, with its opulent decor and chandeliers that transport you to a bygone era. The staff was exceptionally attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. One highlight was the included happy hour with wine, which not only added to the experience but also made for some fantastic people watching. The rooms are a great size, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. However, there's a bit of a downside with the lack of power outlets in the room, which can be frustrating when you need to charge your devices. The bathroom has an overhead rain shower, which, while luxurious, might not be everyone's cup of tea, especially if you're not looking to get your hair wet every time you shower. The lift was a bit narrow for my liking as an average American, but it could certainly fit three people and a few bags. Just a heads up, if your room is near the lift, it can sound eerily like Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter at times. One unique touch was the wooden room keys, which added a charming touch to the overall experience. Despite the relatively high price, it's definitely worth it for the history, ambiance, and attentive staff. St. Ermin's Hotel is a gem in the heart of London.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight, primarily due to its impeccable location in the heart of London. It's nestled in a spot that offers easy access to a plethora of the city's iconic attractions, making exploration both effortless and exciting. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Each member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable. Their attentiveness and kind demeanor added a personal touch to our experience, making us feel valued and well-cared for throughout our visit. This combination of a prime location and exceptional service makes the hotel a standout choice for anyone looking to experience the best of London with the added comfort of excellent hospitality.

Gorgeous Marriott hotel in Westminster with easy walking to most attractions. Hotel bar has yummy lighter food (try the Korean cauliflower) and nice cocktails and service was top notch. Note that there is also a separate hotel restaurant. Rooms are nice, clean, and newly renovated, though the outlet situation is not great (why is it always hard to find outlets by your bed for phone/laptop, or by mirror for hair dryer). Would definitely stay here again.

The St.Ermin's Hotel is a fantastic, quaint and very private/tucked away venue just opposite the old New Scotland Yard building in Victoria where you can imagine many clandestine meetings happening during World War II. Highly recommended for afternoon tea - lovely service, so friendly and attentive and an ideal place to come if you want to have a private meeting with guests/business associates.

We have stayed at many hotels in our travels. This one is at the top of our list for service excellence. All the staff were so happy, personable and very accommodating. The ambience of the hotel was of a boutique five star hotel. We did the afternoon tea...all of the sandwiches and cakes were prepared on site and the service was delightful. The bar and dining staff, as well as the concierge, and the attendants were so helpful and seemed to really care about the experience. Well done St Ermins! We will say with you again.

Beautiful, very traditional style hotel in amazing location just short walk to St James park, Buckingham palace, Westminster abbey, Trafalgar Square and Soho. Rooms are nice and cozy with comfy bed. Love all the environmental friendly adjustments like plastic free room keys, water in recyclable aluminum cans. The bee terrace is amazing. The hotel has great vibe and has super friendly and helpful staff. Shout out to Doris at the front desk who provided us with amazing service when checking in and with all inquiries during our stay. Book yourself for the afternoon tea. They have heaps of options for all dietary requirements. We had vegan option and it was amazing.

The St Ermin’s hotel was an absolute blast. Upon checking in, they provide kids with a scavenger hunt around the property - owing to its roots in spy craft. We learned a ton about its history through this exercise. Additionally, the hotel has an amazing happy hour (complimentary) with entertainment, wine and appetizers. Get there early as it’s packed! Don’t sleep on trying their house made gin. It’s one of the best that I’ve ever had. The room we had (1 bedroom suite) was perfect for the four of us with a pull out couch for the kids and generous (for Europe) sized rooms as well as working air conditioning. We had an issue with the smell a number of times that wasn’t fully able to be remedied. The location is also fabulous being a short walk to Buckingham or Westminster. Would certainly recommend staying here anytime you’re in London.

I've always wanted to stay at the St. Ermin's (walked by for years before I finally did) and my first experience did not disappoint. This is the loveliest hotel with the most amazing staff. The front desk team was very helpful and the breakfast crew really makes you start the day well with their attentiveness and positivity. The room was extremely clean and you could bounce a coin off the bed. I got a view to the courtyard, which is super charming. Really, this was a great experience! I was there for work this time but I'm coming back with my family in August (thanks Jesus for helping me to book that) and getting a bigger room then. Can't wait!

We had a wonderful stay at St. Ermin's Hotel recently. It is a great option for families of five thanks to their family suite, which sleeps five and has two bathrooms. We typically wouldn't stay at a four star hotel, but the suite was a better option than reserving two rooms at a lower tier hotel, at a comparable price. The whole staff was fantastic - front desk, Gary and his team at concierge, housekeeping, room service, and the restaurant staff. Special shout out to Ramos who was our waiter every morning for breakfast. He is such a kind man and very attentive. He treated our kids so well, sometimes packing treats to go and always quick to fill their juice cups. After our first morning seated in his section we requested him by name every morning of our stay, and the lovely team of ladies at the hostess station were always happy to oblige. When we checked in, the front desk handed each of our three boys a "Top Secret" Spy package. It gave a brief history the hotel played in both World Wars and included a fun scavenger hunt that, upon completion, rewarded them with a prize and a special drink from the hotel bar. It was a very nice touch that entertained our kids on several evenings. The location of the hotel can't be beat - it is off the main roads so it felt quiet and secluded, while at the same time being in the center of some of the best sights in London - an easy walk to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Palace of Westminster, River Thames, and St. James Park, to name a few - all within about a one mile walk. Whenever we return to London we will certainly stay at St. Ermin's!

The customer service was excellent from the time I was in to the day I left. The breakfast was delicious, with options for buffet or menu items, and the architecture was beautiful. The bed was also cozy and the bathroom clean. The underground is around the corner and sightseeing is within walking distance. My only complaint is the room was smaller than any hotel I've stayed at but it worked out for my needs. I would without a doubt stay here again.

I can't review the rooms as we didn't stay in the hotel but we had afternoon tea followed by drinks in the bar. Afternoon tea at St. Ermin's is a deeply luxurious experience. The surroundings are beautifully decorated and styled, whether you sit inside under the stunning ceilings or outside on the terrace amid the palms and twining vines. We booked in advance but I missed the hotel's request to notify them of vegan afternoon tea. This is currently requested via the booking comments, and I would encourage the hotel to alter the booking process to make it more explicit if vegan tea must be booked. The chef made vegan options from scratch at short notice which was very generous, and they were absolutely delicious. The staff were more concerned at needing extra time to accommodate this than anything else. Tea consists of a pot of tea, brewed for the correct time for the leaf selected. There are finger sandwiches made with the freshest, bounciest bread, little fancies that are exquisitely decorated, and warm scones with clotted cream and jam. There is even a vegan cream which is both novel and tasty. So many places seem to omit cream for vegans. It was delicious and paired very well with the strawberry jam though I couldn't say it compares to dairy clotted cream. The tea can be changed during the meal, and there are representatives from all the major tea producing countries. I had a very delicate Darjeeling, and my partner had the St. Ermin's blend. Both were very good, and our waiter was extremely knowledgeable on the topic. He guided us to our selections based on our typical tastes. We left absolutely stuffed full. Although the food is delicate and looks innocently tiny, it is decadently rich. It is filling! After the meal we visited the bar downstairs for some drinks. While the tea menu in the tea room is varied, we were in the mood for a cocktail so went downstairs where the menu was more varied. We did not dress formally and would have seemed out of place if we had. Simple linen and tailored shorts were fine, and I believe my partner was even wearing trainers. The staff are all an incredible asset to the hotel. Everyone we interacted with was great. We were made to feel at home and encouraged to explore (the hotel, the menus, the drinks) at every turn. We had a lovely time at St. Ermin's and I wouldn't hesitate to go back, to take friends or family for a little indulgence or to recommend it.

I really enjoyed my stay here!! The hotel is such a gem with great service! I was met outside and received help with my bags. My room was ready early and it was very clean and cozy. The location is great and close to a bus stop and train station which we walked to in under 5 minutes. I will definitely stay here again when I return to London.

Hi everyone, We stayed here for Christmas for two days. Ever since checking in we felt welcome the staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby and reception is very nice and warm. Unfortunately our request for a room away from elevator was not met therefore it was quite noisy at times but we didn't want to mention it since we didn't want to be the annoying guests. For breakfast it's nice and big variety of all different foods. They always checked up on us if everything is fine and if we need anything. On Christmas Eve unfortunately the restaurant was already booked so we ordered room service and they said it's gonna take up to 1 a half hour because of the high demand but luckily we got our food delivered in less than half hour which made our evening very pleasant. The concierge was very helpful on the last day providing us with all information about Public transport since it was limited due to holidays. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay! Warm, friendly staff and great amenities. Room was a little small and the fire alarm went off when we had a shower… The staff at the bar were wonderful and the restaurant was delightful! We will be going back.

Attended for a wedding and was endlessly impressed! It is a beautiful, wonderfully decorated hotel with very attentive staff who are keen to assist. The food served was delectable, and the wedding was very well catered and accommodated. We also enjoyed a few post celebration cocktails at the bar which were very well made, albeit a little pricey. Very highly recommended nonetheless

Old but extremely nice property. The rooms are small in size but very well maintained, nice and clean. They did not acknowledge the platinum and ambassador status but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is extremely convenient, within walking distance to the main landmarks, main transportation. This hotel is definitely a solid option in lo fans one of my favorite ones.

My wife and I had a tremendous time staying at this historic hotel. Of course the food, ambiance, drinks, service, and staff are all 5 star. However, the rich history of this hotel really grips you as you walk the halls. I mean, how many hotels do you know have a Bee Terrace. It's worth checking out while you enjoy a glass of wine on the house!

I'm obsessed with this hotel. It is perfect. Even the toiletries in the bathroom were amazing. The whole property is gorgeous. Everything is comfortable. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Try the steak french fries at the Caxton grille, they might be the best fries I've ever had. Hoping I get to stay here many, many more times.

We stayed in the family suite. It is pricey, sure. But our room was amazing with plenty of space for our breaks from venturing throughout London. This puts you right in the mix of London’s hot tourist attractions and less than a block from the nearest tube station. It was delightfully quiet at night for sleeping. Housekeeping was the best I’ve ever experienced; it felt terrific coming back each day to a perfect room. It seems to be a favorite among Americans and with good reason.

What a great experience. Great staff, amazing quiet location but close walk to so many attractions. Great bar and restaurant downstairs. We had an amazing time. Rooms are spacious enough for what you need them for. The grounds are so clean and beautiful. Take advantage of the St. Ermin’s High Tea!What a sweet experience. The selections are great and very delicious. I highly recommend this property!

We arrived in London to find the city very quiet because it was January and COVID was still taking its toll. Because of this, we were upgraded to even nicer rooms, we enjoyed wonderful service throughout our visit, and the location of this hotel is spot on. We were able to walk to so many attractions including the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey - the list goes on. We had a lovely breakfast every morning and enjoyed drinks in the bar several evenings. This is a stunning hotel with lots of history. I highly recommend a stay here next time you visit London.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't regret it. Our stay was absolutely FANTASTIC! The location is central to so many tourist attractions. The staff was so kind and had taken care of our every need. I had left my laptop in the hotel following my stay and they went so far as to send it to me in Scotland. The bartenders were so kind.

The location is phenomenal (you are 100 steps from a major tube stop, 7/8 min walk to Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, and 8-10 mins walk to Buckingham Palace). I have been to London many times, and this is one of the best locations I have stayed at. In addition, the hotel itself is clean, quiet, and has a fantastic breakfast and bar area. Every day around 5PM they do a happy hour on their porch - which when the weather is good is a great way to wind down. Staff were professional and helpful, as well.

Amazing hotel with great customer service! We loved the afternoon tea service, how they gave us delicious breakfast pastries before our morning flight and recommended us some great places to eat nearby. I also loved the location because we were near the Buckingham Palace, Soho, Covent Garden, Big Ben, and Westminster neighborhood. Will definitely come back.

OH MY GOODNESS. THIS HOTEL IS THE BEST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD. Staff 1000/10, rooms gorgeous, the events and happy hours they have every evening are so fun and a great way to meet other guests, breakfast is a bit overpriced but we did it one day and it was decent. Also, do their tea time! 1000% worth it! Delicious, gorgeous seating on the terrace and so fun! The location could not be better. You will be missing out if you do not stay here.

Fabulous stay here. Was really surprised at how pleasant everyone was and accomodating. Room was comfortable. I really like the free wine from 5:30-6:30 and other extras. Great location and beautiful hotel. It was interesting watching how there were so many people having a great time here!

From the moment we pulled into the forecourt, we were looked after superbly. This is a gem of a hotel, central position but hidden out of the way. All the staff are exceptional, concierges, reception, immaculately clean room

Very nice hotel! I've stayed there at the beginning of Feb and from the initial check in experience to check out the stay was very enjoyable, clean rooms and very friendly staff. I've also dined at their restaurant and the food was top notch. Highly recommend.
