What a great spot! After walking the better part of the morning, this was just what we needed. We decided on the 3 Mix & Share, which was amazing! We chose the fish, squid, and sweet potatoes. 😋 Definitely hit the spot. We will be back!

I always stop here when coming to London. I enjoy the atmosphere, the extra cold Guinness and the food is solid as well. The staff has been nice as well. I always seem to make new friends every time I stop in.....I will continue to make this a tradition for years to come.

It is an interesting bar obviously with the theme about Shakespeare. Beer has the price of the region. It’s worth knowing.

Lovely location to sit outside and see the world go by whilst having a cold drink, unfortunately i only drink coffee which they didnt serve here, at least the Mrs was happy. For over 10 years, its our family tradition to come to Shakespeares Head for christmas celebration drinks and see the carnaby street lights. Nonetheless equally brilliant in the summer as well. Please serve some none alcoholic hot drink to go with my Cuban Cigar.

Steak and ale pie was not bad. The filling was a slightly on the thin side. The crust thick and very hard. I had to wait more than 20 minutes for it. It was surprisingly satisfying and not bad. Otherwise staff service was good and the atmosphere was lively.

Traditional pub, very nice atmosphere, historical spirit. Burger, fish and chips, IPA and Guinness, everything was ok, without waiting (during Friday's evening). Recommended.

So this is a pub in the centre of Carnaby street is exactly what it looks like - a traditional pub with TVs, unsurprisingly full of tourists, playing Robbie Williams, charging £7.45 for a pint of lager.

Great restaurant, great taste of food. The only negative point is that we waited for 45min, when we were warned about 30min of wait. A little bit much regarding the number of people here just to drink. Otherwise it was perfect, the lady is incredibly kind.

Pub is very well located and has a lovely outdoor on-street terrace. The pints are a bit costly for a Greene King pub but it is London! The Flint Eye pint wasn’t that great, I’ve had a better pint of it elsewhere (where it probably cost half the price!) Great little place to stop off if you’re in the area.

Food took an age to arrive . My companion’s tea was lukewarm and we had to ask for more hot water which still wasn’t hot enough for tea. The steak and ale pie was pleasant enough, although the mash and mushy peas had clearly been under a lamp. Nidderdale sausages - not very meaty and had clearly been under a lamp for hours. Hummus - not very tasty. Certainly didn’t taste like hummus. Crispy squid - Not very crispy, and cold.

Spent a few hours here yesterday watching the rugby. The staff, service, food and atmosphere were fantastic. Definitely a great spot for a pint and some food. It's well worth the visit even if just passing through.

Food came extremely slow and not at the same time, so my dish was getting cold. Also they kept saying: "2 min", but I was closer to 10.... We ended up not getting the second dish. We shared the first dish instead and left. Upstairs does not have the full selection of drinks.

Downstairs is an absolute dream but upstairs is a nightmare. I had the absolute worst experience with the upstairs manager, he was behind the bar. He refused to make a drink and demanded I go downstairs, even though the ingredients to make my drink were behind him. I placed a food ordered and he refused stating that the table I was in was reserved. The table I sat down in, was reserved but for an hour after I was currently sitting there. We had plenty of time to eat but he still refused to take my order. He has the absolute worst service. In addition, I saw him speaking to other workers extremely poorly. Worst service ever by him.

A good place to have a typical lunch. I had the mushroom and chicken pie and it wasn't bad. Looks like a great place to have some drinks 🍻

Great pub. Took my girls out for dinner on Sunday, it was very busy and no room to stand let alone finding a table. This guy Zed promise to accommodate us and sure he did. Talked us through the menu as well as one of my doughters has some allergies. Very helpfull and friendly. The food was good to. Great vibe.

Super nice bar and restaurant with a very cozy vibe. We had a salad and fish and chips and were happy with it. Especially the staff (Chris and Sajjad) were lovely. They were joking around with us and giving super good vibes. We would recommend if you like to be served with a smile and leaving with a grin.

A great pub, includes tables outside. Food excellent, highly recommend the pie and mash. The staff were excellent and made you feel welcome. Even in the busier times they worked extremely well as a team to keep the tables clean and serve quickly. A great selection of beers. Well worth a visit if you are in this part of the city.

Fantastic pub, and really good price to be in central London. I pay even more outside the city! The young woman attending at the bar downstairs (Sunday Easter around 17:30) was just lovely, very polite and professional. I will definitely come back 😊 Thanks!

Good pub to watch sport in central London. Book a table online and hopefully get one on the 1st floor which is less busier. Food is decent but the roast normally sells out on a Sunday, so get there early. The katsu burger with fries and onion rings is pretty good
