If you want to see views of London from a different perspective, this is the place to be. You’ll see multiple landmarks from The Shard to St. Paul’s Cathedral and the London Eye while sitting and chilling in a relaxing park environment. Close to Regent’s canal for a nice afternoon stroll along the water.

Beautiful place. Tiny hike to get an incredible view of the city of London! Can get a little overcrowded at times but still worth going! Just watch the sunset, lay on the grass, read a book and have a tiny picnic.

Nice panoramic view of London. Definitely worth a trip up here if you’re in the area. There are benches at the top and lots of folks with picnics. The view is not as good as from Parliament hill or Greenwich observatory but it’s still a nice place to visit.

What a beautiful park with great views of London Skyline! I could spend hours here! It could get busy when the weather is nice. It’s buzzing with people and has a great vibe where everyone looks so happy! A short walk from Camden market. If you are driving, you can park on the main road on Sundays. Check out parking restrictions.

A great view point overlooking Central London landmarks such as The Shard, BT Tower and London Eye. This is a nice way to get in your steps and to burn off the calories after indulging on Oxford Street. You better like dogs because it seems like everyone in this area owns at least one.

I love Primrose Hill. I've visited regularly since I was a child and it offers some of the best, most easily-accessible views of London. It's a beautiful place to have a picnic, or visit with some friends and is very well maintained.

My favourite view of London is from this park, which is one of protected viewpoints in London. Plenty of space with nice paths for jogging and walking. Perfect for meeting friends, family and to have a break from the busy life in London. The panoramic view of Regent's Park is my highlight. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs along Regent's Park Road.

Such a pretty place to be. Morning sunshine on a sunny Autumn day gives so much pleasure and appreciation of the nature. Looking far is London skyscrapers and large green area of the beautiful Regent's Park. Really love this place.

Very amazingly located close to London Zoo, regent Park, Camden, Baker Street, Paddington etc. Amazing views accessible from many gates so make sure you know your way. Very nice for sunst or even evening when the horizon is marked by the lights of the skyline 🏙 Worth a chance if you are nearby the heath or you can alternatively check the view from the nearby Parliament hill

This is a tremendous small park with expansive views over London and great proximity to Camden and Regents Park. This is handy if you fancy a change from the park cafe or getting away from the playground. It's also a great place for a picnic and for running up and down a steep hill.

Cool park on the northern tip of Regent's Park. A very good option for those who want to explore the smaller parks in London. Good to check out if you're bored or overwhelmed from visiting Camden Town Market ( approx. 10 -15 min walk or so) and just want to enjoy the tranquil scenery and a lovely view of London ( that includes St Paul's cathedral, The Shard, and The London Eye). 😎

A beautiful park, good to have a walk there. Just don’t expect to see much at night, not really seeing the sunset as mentioned online. Can have a full view on all the landmarks of London at top of the hill, but don’t expect something stunning. Anyway, not bad to walk in the park to have a relaxing afternoon.

I love this place, especially for sunset and when it gets dark. Perfect spot for a picnic with view on the London Skyline. I don't think no bathrooms available and Park closes about 10pm.

The View is really nice. You climb a small hill to the top and there is plenty of sitting space to watch the view as day turns into night. Unfortunately the sun set is behind us but that's okay as it offers a very clear view of London.

Great little park with a beautiful view across Central London. Was perfect to watch the Jubilee flypast with loads of other Londoners. Also great place to run if you really want to build up that cardio – hint hint: it's a hill ;)

One of the best places in London, however, gets very busy around sunset so come early to get a nice spot! The park area behind the hill is also nice and underrated, recommend having a look! Very dog-friendly and game-friendly as well, plus great workout park. The only downside are the toilets which close very early, usually before the peak times after 8 pm (summer sunsets).

Nice view of London at day and night! 🌇🌃 Good for picnics with a view Decent toilets available. The park gets shut at night. Additional tip: Check out Parliament Hill viewpoint as well if you like the one at Primrose Hill!

Primrose Hill at the top..has a most spectacular view of London. And there are oak trees and Hawthorne Groves at the top..where the Loose Association of Druids meet for the 8 seasonal pagan festivals. To do do ceremony and honour the land. I've bee n coming to these for many years. Great place to just sit and chill with friends too.

One of the best parks with a great view of the skyline. It's spacious and there's enough space for a good number of people. There are lots of trees too if you'd like to be under the shade. It's quite a lively park

One of the best viewpoints in London, with an expansive vista overlooking many of the city's most recognisable landmarks. Information boards at the top provide more detail on the views and explain the history of the area. Lots of open green space for walking and giving the dog some exercise. The surrounding streets are amongst London's most attractive, with colourful buildings and boutique shops. Parliament Hill offers more extensive views, but Primrose Hill is still well worth visiting.

One of my favourite places, the buildings are all so colourful and pretty and you can see an astonishing view of London from up the hill. Sylvia Plath lived on Chalcot as well as Fitzroy. Her blue plaque is on Chalcot.

Magnificent hill overlooking central London and worth a hike up a bit when you are around Regents Park areA. If you come from Camden area then there is less of a hill for you to walk to which is fine for this. Hopefully everyone enjoys them.

Lovely views of London. About 15-20 mins walk from St John's Wood tube station, but well worth it on a nice summer day. Clean & well maintained. Perfect for a picnic, but apparently closed at night due to antisocial behaviour problems.

Primrose Hill is a perfectly nice, mostly grassy park which contains a little hillock from which one can overlook some of London's taller buildings. But if you are not from the area or on a visit to London, don't particularly bother visiting it: there are many more interesting locations to explore.

This place offers a delightful walk on a beautiful day. Great place to admire the views after walking. Even better if you take a picnic and make sure you take your rubbish with you so other people can enjoy unspoilt views.

Marshy & muddy grounds when there’s too many people, otherwise an excellent quaint park to be in (not so recommended as many sites claim for a good view of the new year’s fireworks, probably still just gonna pay the £20 next time for a downtown ticket for the light show)

  • 5/5 Jordan W. 4 months ago on Google • 42 reviews
Lovely park and such an absolutely stunning view from the hill! The best time to go here would be a sunset or sunrise to capture London in its glory. You’ll see an amazing scene where you are able to identify a lot of London landmarks. Lots of benches around the park and it’s a pleasant place nice and calm around the area.

  • 5/5 Matt- F. 5 months ago on Google • 24 reviews
Nice little gem of outside space in London. Only take 5 minutes to walk up to the top of the hill and you get to see the London skyline from a distance. 20 minute walk to Camden Town and Primrose Hill has some quaint little shops and cafes. I wouldn't go unless it was blue skies and it really makes it worth going. There's some seating which becomes available as lots of people are coming and going all the time.

Beautiful park near Camden market when you can see central London view (London eye, BT tower, bank, etc). We went there in the weekend morning, not too packed. Overall, lovely and charming park for a walk. It is a must visit for North Londoners.

Whether you’re looking to enjoy a sunrise or sunset, have a relaxing day outdoors, or simply soak in the city’s beauty, Primrose Hill won’t disappoint.

  • 4/5 Sazid A. 2 years ago on Google
It's a nice place to go on a picnic and sit by the shades or play some sport/exercise. But the view isn't very scenic and there's nothing much to admire. There is a small hill you can climb but again, the view isn't much.

When in London, I always visit the park with a bottle of water and some sandwiches prepared at loveliest Borough Market, seated on wodden made chair look into entire London from the top. My flat is located in W.ken Zone2 however I get on a bus for an hour to feel the real beauty and nature. The sunshine is blessing, doggies run around the park so happily, people jogs around the park which I really respect, Primrose hill park always make my day merry and joyful.

Some of the very best views in London, and a spectacular spot for a picnic. A perennial favourite.

  • 5/5 Harrison L. 8 months ago on Google
Awesome quasi-panoramic view of London's skyscrapers from atop the hill, with some bench seating and inevitable passive hash-smoking at particular hours of the day. The best way to enjoy Canary Wharf, viewed from far away. Toilets at the bottom of the hill, so a great place to picnic with an uncorked bottle of naughty-Mormon mineral water. Reminds me of Highgate Hill Park in my beloved Brisbane.

  • 5/5 Michał K. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful park. Extensive green lawns and long paths. The view from the vantage point is breathtaking. You can see the London skyline perfectly. The best place for walking or relaxing and reading your favorite book.

  • 4/5 Kay 2 years ago on Google
To get there , try getting off near St James terrace mews or near the zoo as the walk from regent Park is 30mins or so. Good view, the sun reflects on the buildings and later you can see a night view with dazzling city lights, it was very packed on the top of the hill but the vibe was good. didn't see a public toilet.

One of the best views of London and overall a great park to hang out in. Is close to the primrose Hill High Street with loads of restaurants and pubs around. Also next to the regent's canal and regent's Park. Great for a picnic on a nice weather day.

  • 5/5 Sirinapha J. 3 years ago on Google
The best place for panoramic view of London which also has the zoo and connect to Regent's park - a lot activities to enjoy here and it's close to Camden town / Camden market so, you can make the same trip to combine them together. A must visit place once you visit London.

  • 5/5 Stephen A. 1 year ago on Google
What can I say? A london staple. Come here for sunset and, if you can abide the crowd, enjoy a fantastic view of the city lit up by the suns rays as it dips below the horizon. Be sure to bring a bottle of wine (or other suitable non alcoholic alternative) with you and some music.

  • 4/5 B B. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place but forget the seemingly cool idea of fireworks from the top.. There will be at least 2 ply of people already.. Some even since last year 🙊 No toilet around.. Neither a proper bush 🤣

  • 5/5 Yiu Kuen P. 3 years ago on Google
In and around Hampstead Hill and Regents Park is located Primrose Hill. Primrose Hill gives you undisturbed panoramic views across London. This viewpoint is always compared against Parliament Hill’s viewpoint, and out of the two choices I prefer Primrose Hill as it is strategically located closer towards central London and as such as even better and intimate views than Parliament Hill. However Parliament Hill does give you sights across the east where you’ll see Arsenal’s Emirates stadium, which you will not see at Primrose Hill. I would recommend to people who are around this area to have a look and really enjoy the view of London especially during the day and evenings.

  • 4/5 Callistus A. 2 years ago on Google
My advice is this is a runners and dog lovers area so if you dot like that then probably not the best place for you. If you can best with that then, get there about 10 minutes before the day's sunrise and you can perch yourself up there to enjoy the sun rise over the London Skyline. This place is also good for new years as people who cannot make it into central can see the fireworks for there. Best advice is go in Ocotber take warm jacket and some calming music and enjoy

  • 5/5 H W. 1 year ago on Google
I was lucky to stay near this lovely place, offering a hill top view of the city of London. It is an excellent place to have a sunset picnic with friends or alone.

  • 5/5 Jakub M. 1 year ago on Google
One of the best views of the city at any time of year. Great spot to spend a sunny day or take a walk up the hill. Incredible sunsets and the view of London Skyline. Short walking distance from Regents Park, Camden Town and Chalk Farm station.

  • 5/5 Francesco O. 1 year ago on Google
Google the time of the sunset, walk in direction of the park one hour before with a bottle of wine and a blanket to enjoy the show! (just check the rain before) The park is 7 minutes from a subway and you’ll not regret visiting to watch and take some amazing pictures. You can see a great skyline of London

  • 5/5 D G. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a beautiful park with gorgeous trees that have vibrant colors. Definitely an amazing view of the London skyline. There is a spectacular view of the sunset though not from the hill. There are too many trees blocking the westward view from the hill. The best spot to watch the sunset is just south of the hill. There would be a good view of sunrise from the hill though.

  • 5/5 Iain G. 2 years ago on Google
Primrose Hill. Sacred place for druids. Great views.

  • 5/5 Alex T. 1 year ago on Google
A beautiful vista overlooking The Regent's Park and downtown Central London, Primrose Hill is a lovely picnicking spot and walking trail. The sunset is beautiful, but be aware that the sun sets opposite the main view of Primrose. I imagine that sunrise on a clear day, however, would be quite stunning (and hope to be there soon for it)!

One of the best free viewpoints in London. You can't get much better than this. This is a great place for a picnic or a drink at the end of the day overlooking the whole of London while the sun sets!

  • 5/5 Ido N. 2 years ago on Google
One of the best London views, as far as it concerns for a natural place at least. The place is quite busy, so expect some crowd or arrive early in the morning. Blankets / mats are recommend, since there's grass, but also lots of stones.

  • 5/5 Ravi S. 1 year ago on Google
Very beautiful park and grounds with picturesque views of London skyline. Plenty of walks and an outdoor gym (not for the faint hearted). Plenty of benches to rest and an onsite cafe with WC facilities adjacent. Definitely worth a visit to see the views of London.

  • 5/5 Alex J. 2 years ago on Google
Primrose Hill is a compact, villagelike area of grand Victorian terraces and pastel-coloured Regency townhouses. Its namesake hilltop park has panoramic views over Regent’s Park and the city beyond. Upmarket delis, chic eateries, and boutique fashion stores cluster along Regent’s Park Road, and surrounding streets are dotted with gastropubs and tea rooms. The Regent’s Canal towpath leads to nearby Camden Market.

  • 5/5 Prateek G. 2 years ago on Google
