I had my wedding in this hotel, overall experience was really disappointing, expected much more polite and respectful service. I booked a room and venue in this hotel and was so excited, but I am so disappointed with all the experience I got. The staff was not friendly, I lost my item no one informed me for a few days till I noted it and called them by myself, they explained that it was hotel rules, but it was very straight to me. The location was lovely. I requested a call in the morning to wake me, but no one called me, requested cleaners at certain times no one sent me, and breakfast in the morning was not tasty. Didn't get any complimentary things on my wedding day, they don't even want to give me a better room, as was promised before. Feels like they treat people differently by nationality and age. Regarding the venue was really disappointed, changed 2 times manager and all of them explained things differently, was not nice really. No flexibility, no focus on customer service. On the wedding day in Loggia was freezing my guests' seats with coats... And many other things happened, overall my experience was really sad. I know how they treat other people, so I really feel disrespectful.

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the extraordinary support and kindness I received from your staff during a recent incident. I unfortunately had a fall from my bicycle near by the hotel. It was a rather distressing moment, but your team's response truly exemplified the values of hospitality and compassion. Despite not being a guest at your hotel, the way your staff rushed to my aid was truly remarkable. They not only ensured that I was okay but went above and beyond by allowing me to use the restroom facilities in the hotel to freshen up and tend to my injuries. This simple act of generosity meant the world to me. It's clear that Mandarin Oriental doesn't just provide luxury accommodations but also extends its hospitality to anyone in need. This incident has left a profound impression on me, and I will forever be grateful for the support I received. Your doorman kindness and professionalism truly set Mandarin Oriental apart, and I felt compelled to share this positive experience with others. In an age where exceptional service is often rare, your team has demonstrated that genuine hospitality and human compassion still exist.Thank you once again

I don’t know who the chef is in in-room dining but is the best food I have tried and trust me I have been in most 5 star hotels in Central London and as well in many around the world. He/she is to be congratulated. The personnel of in-room dining Wassim, George, Mark as well as the concierge Luis, Micheal, Philip and Aurimas have outstanding performance. Excellent service overall.

2 visits now. I went inside this time. Ended up in the bar as the Kitchen Restaurant had already closed. ( I arrived at 20.40pm approx this night ). Very nice, all marble staircases and walls too. Beautiful colours, excellent taste. I could live here! Wow! Haha.. Lovely carpets. All staff in uniforms. Very well presented, nothing is too much trouble. Around £1,200 + a night I see. A 5 Star Motel, right next to Knightsbridge Underground Station and Hyde Park itself. Very professional. 5 stars for the rooms, Service and Location, see their pictures on their website as I did. Impressive. Fri.1 9 23.

Went here yesterday for some drinks with friends. Relaxing and intimate atmosphere with excellent drinks. Of course a bit pricey as it’s the mandarin but top notch quality. On top of that our waiter was excellent, friendly and attentive. 5 stars

Favorite hotel in London, can’t beat the service and newly renovated. They’re amazing. We had girls night with movies and they brought us a popcorn machine, wine, candies, and snacks for free! With balloons and everything it was so perfect.

We recently provided a Sax & DJ package for a wedding at the hotel. We were absolutely blown away by the venue. It was 5 star in every respect and the team were extremely easy to work with. We can't wait to go back and hope to be booked for another wedding soon!

Have been there for a British afternoon tea at The Rosebery and everything was just WONDERFUL. Cool atmosphere, they were taking care of every detail and the food was so tasty, a really mouthgasm experience! Thanks to Patrick who was really the cutest and made us feel cuddled, was able to advice us into choosing the perfect matching between food and tea, a true professional! Try the apricot white tea, just wow! Truly memorable experience!

Went for the spa at the Mandarin Oriental - a bit pricey but did not disappoint. Service was excellent, with every detail considered from the reception and the facilities, to the treatment itself. When I was booking my session, the staff was also honest and told me to avoid some time slots due to an event in the nearby ballroom which may be heard in the spa area and affect the experience. Good tip so I booked another time instead. Very much enjoyed the spa. Would highly recommend ⭐️

I took my significant other here for dinner (The Rosebery) and drinks (Aubrey) to celebrate her birthday. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the staff were amazing and went out of their way to recognise her special day. The food was fantastic and drinks were excellent. I cannot recommend nor commend The Mandarin Oriental enough.

My wife and I had the best time at the Hyde Park Terrace. Everything was amazing here. The atmosphere, the food, the staff… Especially my wife’s chicken salad and my steak were out of this world. Also our special thanks goes to your MIT Vladimir from Slovakia (pozdravujeme). See you soon.

We experienced the Chef table experience today at Heston's dinner restaurant. Amazing food, really attentive staff, excellent notes provided per course. Everything top draw and delicious. If you have the cash and the opportunity then go for it.

Luxurious hotel with a very good restaurant, the Aubrey. Try the korean style chicken. Comes out charcoal black but it tastes amazing. Definitely my favourite dish.

The best luxury hotel that I have visit . Either for leisure or business this place offers you everything from accessibility to relaxation and commodities. Amazing for kids if you want them to have an amazing experience, with 3 different restaurants and the spa is without words . A very warm and deserved 5* .

Redefining service and luxury. Rooms were super clean, quiet and well stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries. The restaurants were worth the journey as was the spa and the gorgeous big pool. The exceptional feature was the training of the staff. Every single member of the team was personable, helpful and courteous beyond belief. The hotel was mostly handicap accessible with the minor inconvenience of the entrance. 5 star luxury hotel experience.

Stopped in for Christmas breakfast. Outstanding service and food. Our servers were very attentive and caring and made sure we had a wonderful experience. So kind and thoughtful and the ambience was all that we hoped for. Will eat and stay at the Mandarin Oriental again.

This is one of the great hotels in London, but I have to say I was disappointed. Rooms and location are fantastic, and staff are friendly and helpful, but the service is SOOO SLOOOW! We tried all the restaurants, and food took literally hours to serve. At Heston Blumenthal's restaurant it was an hour before we received our first course. Also, the hotel charges for every amenity it can, including Wifi at extortionate rates. Public areas are also a bit sterile, especially the hard to find bathrooms in the rabbit warren downstairs. Considering the price you're paying, it just isn't worth it. If you want luxury, go to somewhere like the Ritz, which is a bargain by comparison and provides you with fast service.

Didn't stay but enjoyed afternoon tea in the Rosebery Room. Beautiful space with a real fire. As you'd expect the service is excellent and the food is amazing. There is unlimited tea, sandwiches and cakes. A perfect place to celebrate a birthday or just for a special day out.

We eat at hestons which was amazing! Stayed elsewhere however I had to write a review on this hotel and in particular one of its staff. The hotel is just beautiful from top to bottom stunning. Hestons is an amazing restaurant inside. Then there’s the staff . GRAHAM - the doorman , what an absolute professional true British Londoner doorman. Upon entry he was just fantastic , hoping we would enjoy the night and to ensure we had the tipsy cake at hestons …. Then upon exit, whistling down a taxi in about 3 seconds rather than us wait in the rain, no door is left unmanaged and no person un greeted ….thank you Graham you gent!

We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental on the evening of our wedding on 16th September 2023. We had a small ceremony in Greenwich with close family and then travelled to the Mandarin Oriental for dinner with our parents and siblings in the private dining room at Heston’s. This was the most perfect evening and the staff could not have done more for us. We’d had an issue with taxis that afternoon, meaning we were a little stressed and late to arrive, but as soon as we walked in the main entrance Violeta (our Maitre D’) was waiting and our stress immediately melted away. Every member of staff was wonderful and the food was incredible. Our evening and night with the Mandarin Oriental is something we, and our family, will treasure forever. Thank you for making it such an unforgettable experience (and sorry it’s taken us so long to write the review!).

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Mandarin Oriental. The level of service provided was amazing, with staff accessible whenever required. They care for their guests and give you a sense of being home, away from home. Our Suite was spotless as well as beautiful and the breakfast offerings were truly delightful. We wholeheartedly endorse this hotel, particularly for its central location, making it a prime choice for accommodation. The experience is worth the price. We will most definitely visit this Hotel again in the future!

Gorgeous hotel in a perfect location in London. The staff were all wonderful. In typical MO style, it was extremely pet friendly for our dog, with the staff making us all feel extremely welcome. Highly recommended on all fronts.

A spectacular experience all around. This will be the only hotel I will stay at in London. The staff is professional, warm and friendly. Each person went above and beyond to create an exceptional experience for us. The room was just lovely, and the level of detail was exceptional. We were lucky enough to eat at Dinner and if you have time, it is a must! The food was creative, delicious and the service superb!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in Jan 2023. We are fans of The Mandarin Oriental Hotels and yet again, everything was absolutely incredible. Staff were amazing and so accommodating, food was absolutely gorgeous, location was perfect and even down to finer details - the cleaners were brilliant and their attention to detail was fabulous. We stayed in a beautiful suite overlooking Hyde Park and it was just stunning. This was by far, the best hotel we have stayed in in London and we will be booking another trip back very soon. Thank you so much for making our stay so special. :-)

Stopped for a weekday afternoon high tea in the Rosebery. It was not only fantastic flavours but also generous quantities - with bottomless food and tea refills that were impossible to use because of so much on the plates already! A lovely environment, fantastic team, thoroughly enjoyed. It's not the cheapest in London for sure, but you won't be disappointed if you do go.

Hadn't been since lockdown. Had an amazing brunch at the Rosebery Tea Room. So bright , so comfy and, although packed, the high ceilings and lack of dreadful background music meant it was actually easy to have a conversation: even at a long table. I had the crushed avocado & poached eggs and while it is standard at all restaurants (how creative can you really get?) what impressed me was that they poached them exactly how I asked: the perfect poached egg! I highly recommend a weekend brunch there.

This has now become the only place we stay at when we visit London. Very convenient location for most attractions and shopping. The hotel itself is large but yet somehow feels cosy and welcoming. Staff are always very helpful and even remember repeat customers which makes a welcome change in the larger London hotels. Great food options in the hotel and the fitness and spa facilities are both excellent.

Check in was a little long winded, however once that was done we were shown to our suite. The suite was stunning, very spacious with a nice size bathroom. We had three faults with the room, the first was the shower head was broken and sprayed the full bathroom with water, secondly there was a night light which kept flashing on and off all night and lastly the tea and coffee machine wasn’t working. A little disappointing for a suite which was around £1,200 per night. The hotel staff were very apologetic and arranged a discount off the final bill. This was probably rare however it did spoil our experience.

You even get service-style options at this place, depending on how loquacious you like your waiters. Actually they weren't terribly charming. Bit procedural. Recipes as you can see from the photos are based on VERY old recipe books that Heston has been collecting. While the roasted pigeon was exquisite, the veg were oversalted and the starter (veal and eel) lost track of the customer - fancy but not memorable. I rarely get what I pay for in high-end restaurants. Occasionally they are memorable but much more often they don't justify the price. And at these prices they have no option but to be memorable. It's possible but clearly not every chef, however famous, can do it. What you should get with high-end is not only fabulously delicious but original - new. It's not that difficult - I've had courgette flowers stuffed with rice, cream cheese and some other secret ingredients in a beach café in Skinaria in southern Crete that I haven't forgotten 5 years on. I'll try the Shard next - the reviews seem pretty good.

One of my favorite hotels in London. They had a lot of renovations that have been completed which have been a great improvement. The service is very friendly although sometimes they are so busy that you have to call back and remind them for certain things, but everyone is always courteous and kind. Great vibe in the restaurants and a very relaxing spa experience. The gym is great too!

My daughter treated me to an afternoon at the Spa and afternoon tea at the Rosebury. The foot massage by Pierre is so good and highly recommended, Lucia who did the facial was excellent too and finally the young Irish Asian gentleman who looked after us at Tea was very patient and knowledgeable about all the teas. A great team very professional and courteous

Booked for my birthday and I have to say the two night stay was absolutely amazing, from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend everything about this hotel. Superb personal service and attention to detail. Truly touched how many staff knew it was a special occasion.

This hotel is simply amazing. Fantastic hotel, lovely food, amazing room but best of all the service is unbelievable. I have to say a huge thank you to Mr Accossato who went out of his way to keep us happy. The hotel are privileged to have such wonderful staff like him. Amazing location also, cannot fault this hotel.

I would give it more stars if possible. Everyone that we spoke to or had the pleasure to interact with were amazing. From the moment you are outside the hotel to checking in to breakfast, everything is of a high standard. Amazing breakfast with a view of Hyde park, chefs are very talented and must try the omelette for breakfast. You feel like royalty, nothing is too much and the staff are friendly and always smiling. Top notch quality. Great attention to detail. My fiancé proposed to me at the hotel and there is nothing I would have changed. Everything was so perfect and meticulously planned. Couldn't have asked for a better proposal. The staff are amazing and deliver customer service to the highest standard. I cant stop talking about the experience we both had and I would recommend the stay at the hotel to all family and friends.

Everyone needs to stay here and experience the hospitality and service. The staff are super friendly and attentive and go out of your way to feel like you're back in the golden age of travel. The restaurants have great food and afternoon tea. The rooms are decent sized for London but super clean and staff are just amazing. Great place to stay, I've definitely "become a fan" as I usually stay with another luxury chain but these guys were superior for service.

Our room was beautiful. We had a balcony with a stunning view of the main street in front of the hotel. The food here is superb. We had lunch and desserts at the tearoom and were not disappointed! There was a violinist playing beautiful music in the tearoom as well. I ordered the pasta through room service one night and it was soooo incredibly delicious. Staff are on it here. Never miss a beat and are happy to help.
