👍👍 The food is absolutely wonderful, tasty and authentic. I have taken all my family and friends here already because it's worth a repeated visit. The choice of rums and sorrel drinks are of top quality and the calypso music in the background, takes you away to a bit of paradise. Highly recommended. People often mention chicken, Sham, menu,

Excellent new venue bringing the best of West Indian food to East London. The lunch menu is simple but covers all the bases. The doubles alone are worth travelling for. Looking forward to a chance to try the evening menu when the full range of Creole Chinese and Indian influences are available. It's rare that I give 5 stars, even rarer that 5 stars doesn't seem enough.

I'm from the Caribbean and the service and food is amongst the very best I've experienced in more than 20 years of living in the UK. Truly authentic and an unforgettable meal for all the right reasons. I will definitely return to try more options from a really great menu! Sham, you and your friendly staff are amazing. The food was on point.xxxx

The best food in the market. The chicken dishes are so soft and succulent. The sauce is really "finger licking good" for the wings. Had a roti that hit the spot. "Belly full". Atmosphere is so chilled. Great music and a charismatic host from Trinidad kept the entertainment enjoyable. Another visit is a must.

This place is incredible! The staff are fun, polite and presentable in how they dress. The vibes are truly magnetic with the choice of music. If you like soca and Caribbean vibes, this is your place. The drinks are crafted effortlessly and they are truly of high quality and taste great. The food. Omg the food, mouth watering wings and other tastey dishes. I will be back! Its nice to see locals and native Caribs in the same place.

I love what they’re doing. Street stalls and a restaurant. Great to see Caribbean food stepping out of the suburbs

Happened to pass by during a stroll around Spitalfields market, so thought we'd give it a go. We must have caught it on a bad day; the place looked fairly packed but they struggled to get around people, and an issue with the kitchen downstairs meant they had to close their toilets. Nonetheless, we ordered BBQ chicken and jumbo chicken wings with Chinese chips and a couple of beers, and after a bit the waitress reappeared to tell us they were out of chicken wings. Soon after, she revisited us to let us know they were also out of Chinese chips so we switched to the macaroni pie - then revisited us a third time to enquire what we'd ordered (I didn't see the point of her wearing a tablet on her hand if it wasn't capturing this information). The chicken, when it arrived, was pretty tasty - a few battered and fried pieces coated in a sticky spicy sauce with a crisp salad, all served up in a polystyrene carton (which is pretty commonplace in the Caribbean) - however, I found the macaroni oversweet and cloying for an accompaniment. For what what we paid, I didn't think it represented value for money. After the meal we sat and waited but nobody seemed interested in taking any further orders so we asked for the bill and left to continue eating elsewhere. It's a shame as I liked the chicken I ordered, but don't feel compelled to return if I'm in the area - there are quite a number of other dining places under cover in the marketplace so I'll give something else a go next time.

Okay, really nice quaint bar/restaurant. Food was well worth the visit and so was the rhum ( Chairmans Reserve🇱🇨). The owner, Sham greeted everyone and mingled with the crowd. Go visit and enjoy Limin' Trini style. Well done, nice place Sham and team, you've done something good here and in the lovely Old Spitalfields Market 🙌

All the ingredients for a fun night, under one roof. Great music, vibe, service and the best rum punch. The food is also divine, try the curry goat roti or pelau and always have the doubles (best street food in London). Sham, the owner, is the life of the party, friendly and a passionate culture ambassador.

I got the Chicken Pelau, which tasted fab. Full disclosure: I only paid £1 for it through the Ritual app. The the main dish was great and the portion size was good too, but the salad on the side was a bit lacking. Unfortunately I don't think it'd be worth the £11 price tag so probably won't be returning but it was still a good meal. Staff were a little frazzled during the lunch rush but maybe they're just not used to the extra customers from the Ritual app.

Visited this delightful restaurant which originated as a ‘pop up’ in Spitalfields over a year ago which was to be temporary. The food was amazing, from the polouri balls as starter to the doubles and finger-licking chicken wings, and their signature rumpunch! Limin’ recently moved to Gabriel’s Wharf and their menu is even more enticing and delicious. During this pandemic and over Christmas, Sham and his team have been able to keep their customers happy by providing a home delivery service. No distance was too far and out of reach! An order of Trini pastelles to surprise my mother on her birthday in early December was delivered promptly (beautifully boxed and wrapped) and enjoyed with a surprise bottle of ponche creme. For my birthday a delicious delivery of doubles (with all the condiments) curry chicken and rumpunch! Not only were they delicious, my son who never really understood the hype made about doubles could not get enough! Goes without saying that we had our Trini comforts and was fortunate enough to have had a supply to last through to the New Year. There will be a repeat order at Christmas ‘21 for sure! Sham is continually striving to make his clientele happy with an ever evolving tasty menu, and offering a wonderful personal service which is second to none. Cannot wait to see what he has planned to see us through 2021. Even though we are in a pandemic his foresight and determination is admirable. Visiting this restaurant is a must when it is safe to do so, Sham and his team will give you a memorable experience of the Trinidad cuisine and culture. Enjoy, we certainly will!
