The atmosphere is incredible as the main room looks beautiful with the wooden boards and vines mimicking a winery you would find in Italy. We ordered pizza and it was delicious as well as two drinks! Will go again.

A lovely restaurant for a relaxed and casual dinner. The staff was friendly and accommodating of the pram. They also have very good options for vegans. They currently have their summer pink lemonade which is nice and refreshing.

We had just arrived in London from a 6:40a flight down from Inverness. My wife and I were tired. The girls were hungry and cranky. A couple right turns from the hotel at Paddington Station and Googling stuff led us to ASK Italian, and it was JUST what we needed for lunch. A whiff of basil and a friendly hostess greeted us. I later learned it's a chain but who cares. The food was excellent, our kids ate a good meal. The wine was delicious. After doing the £ to $ conversion in my head it was even a great value compared to what we're used to in the States at comparable quality. The atmosphere was light and sunny. And, get this: our hostess (regretfully I don't recall her name) brought over a little plate of carrot sticks, bread sticks and marinara sauce for our 5 and 7 yo daughters as soon as we sat down with a cheerful, "Here you are, my lovelies!" That was a women skilled in her craft -- she helped us (and everyone in the restaurant) avert a hunger-fueled meltdown. Bravo. We went back for dinner🤗

Not a good experience to be honest. The service is shockingly slow. We arrived early evening and it wasn’t too busy. Got busier as the evening went on. The service was just not great to be honest. When we asked for things like sauces they never came and staff didn’t apologise for forgetting - this happened twice. There just didn’t seem to be any structure to how the staff worked - felt like they didn’t really know what they were doing. My pasta dish came out hard - makes me think they cooked it and left it out for a while which made it go all hard - couldn’t eat all of it. Was a shame because I was looking forward to eating here and eating my favourite cuisine but was bitterly disappointed. The drink I had was very very small too which wasn’t great value for money.

We ordered Spaghetti al pomodoro and it was watery and very bland. I couldn't eat it at all. No amount of pepper, parmigiano and olive oil can save it. It was just tasteless. The staff removed it from the bill as we were not very happy about it. We talked to the manager to give our feedback and he said he actually likes this pasta... the pizza also costs at least 10 GBP but it's not Italian pizza. Overall, the food here is not Italian and I doubt it's being managed by an Italian chef based on the quality of the food. Also, it's not an affordable restaurant for the quality of the food they serve. Such a shame as it's a big space in a prime location.

Starters were delightful (honorable mention to arancini). Waiters were really kind but they seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Also, our table was in the dark (issue with the light it seems) and our main meals didn't arrive simultaneously. Pizzas were slightly above average. Prices are reasonable. Overall a decent experience.

We stumbled across the restaurant after a long hot walk in the park. The air conditioning was great and at the time, that was the most important criteria for us. Everyone loved their order in my party and the food tasted of true Italian.

Perfect. Quick service, good prices and a nice table overlooking the quiet street. Decent choice of pasta, pizza and Italian classics. Wine very good and a 50ml carafe set me up nicely.

I visited ASK yesterday (Tuesday 8th August) with my brother for dinner before our train home. We were seated promptly after entering and the staff were very attentive after being told of my brother’s nut allergy. As always, the venue was decorated beautifully. We ordered the cheese fondue to start, the pollo de casa and a lasagne, and two chocolate etnas for dessert. The food was perfect. The staff were very friendly and their customer service was perfect- especially considering how busy they were! They even got our desserts in to go boxes for us as we were worried we may miss our train and allowed us to pay our bill whilst we were waiting. Thank you for your hospitality!

Very pleasant experience with warm welcoming staff. The food was delicious, and was kindly offered plenty of Parmesan. The restaurant was decorated nicely throughout with very clean facilities. Would highly recommend this branch.

A lovely restaurant and while the food was great I am disappointed with the service as was served by three different people and not once was asked if everything was ok with food, it felt like I was served the food and then forgotten about each time. Be aware that they add 10 percent to your bill for service which I believe is wrong for the reason I gave above, you can ask for that to be removed

Great atmosphere, it was quiet when we went (2:30pm) but they had customers. Staff were friendly, the restaurant/bathroom was clean. Ordered a few pasta dishes, cappuccino and desserts; good portions and comparable prices. Close Paddington/Sussex gardens.

Absolutely amazing. We went for a trip to London and kids asked for a pizza. So I did ask Google for the nearest place to eat pizza. We were super lucky that we found ask Italian! Excellent food, kids friendly, home made lemonade and pizza in bear shape (just for kids). Probably because it's near paddington station:) I wish to have ASK Italian in Cambridge!

Fantastic. They were really busy, but we still got our food really quickly. It was good as a family they just bought everything out when it was ready. It's good you can just pay using a qr code too. Delicious meal, thank you!

Partner and I throughly enjoyed our meals which arrived piping hot. Everything was tasty and was good value for money. Service was fine; I could see that the servers were busy which I totally understand. However there was one waiter in particular who was running around like lightning which we found a little off putting when we were trying to have a relaxing meal. The restaurant was also quite cold on our visit

Pretty busy on a Saturday which is understandable. Had to wait for a pasta and 2 pizzas 30-40 min. The pasta in the picture is a carbonara and it was alright, good portion mediocre taste. The service is good, the inside of the restaurant is cozy.

Met people here for business meetings a few times. It’s close to Paddington which is helpful. The service is very good and the food and drinks are great quality. Pricing is reasonable and seating is comfortable. Hasn’t been too busy when I’ve visited which makes it ideal for meetings. Recommended for quiet chats and good service near the train station.

OK, it was a hot Friday afternoon. However, I expect service from the staff and decent food at any time during opening hours. Start with the staff; poorly motivated and badly trained is the only way I can describe them. One member tried to explain that it was the first day for one team member. In my view, that was a totally inappropriate remark to make to a client. If the team member wasn't ready to be put on the restaurant floor, why embarrass him by putting him in situations he's not equipped to deal? I doubt the kitchen staff were any better motivated. The food was lacking flavour and seemed to have been prepared by a trainee. My wife was served with the wrong main course which although rectified quickly, still had little on no flavour. It was 'purple pesto' without the pesto! ASK, I have been a customer for so years now but I have never been this disappointed. We will not be returning.

The seabas was dry. The Ravioli was nice and spaghetti also. I will not return to this restaurant again
