One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a bar. We pre-booked weeks in advance for the Super Bowl party (£25 a ticket), which promised to include seating, a pint and stadium food on arrival (menu looked great), as well as beer pong, foam hands and other prizes. Instead, upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of Budweiser and a "hamburger" that you wouldn't be legally allowed to serve to Taliban POWs in Guantanamo Bay (see photo below). The menu that was advertised online was nowhere to be seen once inside the venue. Foam hands, beer pong & other prizes were also non-existent, and instead of having reserved seating for groups as promised, it was a free for all to squeeze into the very limited space available. Our group ended up having to be split across multiple tables, and we could barely see the game at all due to the main screen being so low down it was largely obscured by other patrons. That is of course when the illegal stream they were using was actually working because they didn't have the correct rights for streaming sports. Oh and did I mention they charged a mandatory 10% service charge on literally everything, including the ticket to admission (think about that, I had to pay a surcharge just to pay for a ticket... Ridiculous.). That meant that they were effectively charging £7 for a pint. I will never be coming back here and I would strongly advise people to avoid this place at all costs, you'd have a more enjoyable experience drinking a box of wine under a bridge.

We went to the Friday night cabaret and it was such good fun! The host was engaging and the acts were varied and talented. The bar had a great stock of drinks and service was quick. We will definately be back, thank you!

A great night out. Some quick table service with an app (was a bit clunky to start, but then was easy) and some great entertainment. The Burns Night party was so much fun, with a great variety of acts and performances. Great sound and light and it feels like it doesn't matter where you sit, you'll always get a great view and there's of course... More audience interaction.

Fab little performance space. Pub meets theatre vibe, so it's relaxed an entertaining. I last went for an all ladies comedy show. The staff were great. The hostess was a beautiful drag queen with legs that wouldn't end. It's inclusive and friendly, though I'm not sure it's fully accessible, as there's stairs down to the bar/performance space, I didn't notice a lift.

I went to see Gingzilla perform here and was not disappointed. From start to finish, I had the best time ever. The club and the staff gave off a really welcoming, positive vibe. Once shown to our table, everything was explained on how to download the app for the food/drink service. The sour dough pizza was delicious, and the drinks (cocktails) were to die for. Best part of the night for myself was when Gingzilla/Benjamin ❤️ pulled me up on stage to sing with him. Amazing.

Wonderful hidden gem member's club for the arts profession, a popular for the theatre and media staff that work and perform in the area. Memberships cost from £100 per year and include access to the club with unlimited coffee in the day, entrance to some of the shows held in the members lounge. The most amazing thing though is the incredible food they serve at such an incredible price. I'm still craving the chicken Kiev aptly named the world's best chicken Kiev. You can also just pay the entrance to a show and enjoy the place too if you don't become a member.

I was a bit disappointed if I’m honest because I’d heard good things and I really wanted to love it. I love cabaret, particularly the weird and wonderful. For £27 I was expecting more, but it was the same acts in the first and second half. Maybe if it’s your first time at a cabaret or for a Christmas party. Prices for drinks were great

We had an unforgettable evening! Coming all the way from Switzerland, every moment of the show was a pleasure. The drinks were delicious, and the food was good too. The service staff treated us like family, making us feel truly special and welcomed. Thank you for this incredible experience and the fantastic time we had. The artists were mesmerizing, and I highly recommend trying their cocktails. Additionally, staying after the show was equally delightful, adding to the overall wonderful experience.

No pictures of the food and drinks but truly lovely place! We had the chance to see “AUSSIES UP OVER - AUSTRALIAN MUSICAL THEATRE CABARET “ and god they left us in Aw! Amazing, first time here but for sure I’ll be returning! Friendliest staff, great ambient and good food and drinks!

Wanted to go to the theatre but ticket prices were extortionate. We came across the Phoenix Arts Club and decided to give their cabaret night a go instead, and it was fantastic! Much more memorable, laughed, cringed and watched in awe - we’ve recommended it to so many people already. Great evening for a date night or with friends. When we’re back in the UK we’ll definitely look to catch another performance.

Had a great time there Thursday, Frank Skinner was terrific. Plenty of laughs. Followed by Open Mike night. Really good entertainment. It was a lovely evening, I love singing there. I have been a regular for 10 years. Super night out.

Such a fun night! My friend and I went to the show on Saturday and we couldn’t stop laughing and clapping! All acts were top quality and entertaining. It was a packed house, which is lovely, but my cocktail took 45 minutes with the excuse “they are freshly made” 🙁 This said, it didn’t take away from the amazing and fun evening we had! I highlighted recommend the Great Show on Saturday and Michael is a fantastic host and artist! We loved it.

This has to be one of the best nights in Soho. I have been a number of times and have never been disappointed. The venue looked magical and christmassy, the cabaret artists were varied and fun and Michael, the host was fantastic! Big shout out to all the bar staff who kept the espresso Martinis flowing. I know I'll be back there having a dance and a sing in no time. Also. Huge shout out for adding sanitary products in the male toilets. Always one step ahead.

A group of friends and I had a surprise baby shower here. The front line staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating from the moment I booked to the very end. The food was delicious and fresh. The entertainment was fabulous and could have stayed much later. This is a very charming place and would definitely go back again.

If you want to go for a meal pre-theatre; DO NOT choose this venue. I booked this venue pre-pandemic for dinner and on the day the duty manager called me to say they weren't serving food. For some reason I thought this may be an individual error and recently booked dinner for another occasion. My family and I came up to London early to dine in the Phoenix Artists Club, however, upon arrival was told that they weren't open due to rehearsals! I appreciate that your main income stream may be shows but please don't waste people's times and upset plans by pretending that you offer food before theatre by allowing people to pre-book. And if availability changes please the common courtesy to contact those who have booked with you.

A fantastic spot with a fantastic crew. Went with a crowd for dinner and it was absolutely top notch. Millie was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. Paddy was also a credit to the place and made our night all the more fun. A really lovely, personable experience. 100% recommend.

What a great venue and an unexpected find on our trip to London. Colin and the team were fab, and all the acts amazing. Colin was also personally welcoming, individually, to everyone arriving for the show. And a great singer, showman and host too. Prices for food and drinks were much more competitive than many London venues we've visited, and the cheese board was ace. We stayed on after the show for Internationally Ignored Superstar Vanity Von Glow's Power Ballads. Superb singing and great entertainment. All round good quality and value. Highly recommend. It's going to be our go-to London venue whenever we visit.

A national treasure! The Phoenix Arts Club has been part of the London cabaret scene for decades and continues to showcase so many incredible artists. You'll never know what to expect. Certainly a night of top class entertainment with some of the biggest names in cabaret as well as emerging performers! Fun guaranteed. Highly recommend!

I've been here last night for Joe Black's cabaret show and it was amazing! The venue is small but intimate, the arrangement of the tables allows you to fully enjoy the show, and it feels like you are face to face with the artist on stage. The staff was extremely kind and very helpful. There is a service available to order food and drinks directly to your table via a QR code, without having to wait in line at the bar, and it is possible to pay from your mobile phone, which is very convenient.

We went to phoenix arts for the Super Saturday show and we're crying with laughter the whole evening. It was such good value for a night out in the centre of London. We plan on going back with friends even though we've seen the show already just to share the experience. We didn't eat here but we had cocktails, they did the trick. Anywho, a good night out and worth the visit. They have an early and late showing, but if you go for the late showing they stay open for a while after for a bit of a party.

I would highly recommended this for it will give you the BEST VALUE for your money. I have booked for show+pizza+dessert restricted view. The front of house was very accommodating and polite, kind enough to explain how to order and show us to our seats. The SHOW was amazing, you will experience a variety, comedy, magic shows, sing along, fire dance.. name it! Not only the performance was great, it is interactive too. They make sure that audiences were engaged. DRINKS you will have lots of options to choose from, PIZZA was good for its price, portion wise and taste. DESSERT was generous, we had a slice of cheesecake and a scoop of ice cream.. I would recommend this if you want a dinner and a quality show that doesnt break the bank!

Fantastic place!!! Michael, Sarah, Betsy Rose, Lady Aisha, Andromeda and the staff were beyound great. Intimate setup with 2 small stages allows for all the room to get in the action, revel and marvel at this great show. Interactive, saucy and glamorous while the public is not "safe"😀. Been to similar places in Paris and Berlin but this little gem makes the West End proud! You have to see it!!

Absolutely amazing. Hands downs one of the best all night experiences in London. The staff were beyond kind and accommodating. The show was really really fun and entertaining. After the show the sing-along was ridiculously good. There was no need to go anywhere else for the night. Everyone was sooo talented. Thank you for the best night.

I've been to the Phoenix a couple of times - for individual shows, late night drinking and most recently their NYE Cabaret extravaganza! It was fantastic, a thoroughly enjoyable evening with amazing acts on display and lovely food as well. A gem of the West End, Table 14

Hands down my favourite place in London, I visit every time I’m in the capital, The fantastic host keeps you entertained along with a pianist and a rotation of the best acts, If your lucky you will even get the barmen giving you a number on the piano…

Lovely homemade food, quirky theatrical decor, great bar, nice pre-theatre menus, we all loved the place; kids and oldies alike. Wish I'd have known about this place before. The perfect dining stop when you're in the Tottenham Court Road area.

We bought tickets for the NYE event at the Phoenix Arts Club but as my partner got Covid just a few days before NYE, we are no longer able to attend. I sent them an email to check if it was possible to get a refund (without much hope) and they were so responsive and understanding! They gave us a full refund and wished him a speedy recovery. It's a shame we are missing this event but hopefully we'll be able to attend to one of their shows soon! Thank you!

We've been to the Friday Night in Soho show many times and loved it each time... but having Ivy Paige back takes it all to the next level. Loved it last night and will be going each time we are in London The ordering APP works a treat and the stone baked pizzas are well worth a try. Ended up having a late night of it as we stayed for the late night show on the Piano.... which was amazing.

If you’re a musical theatre fan YOU CANNOT TOP this place for a night out before or after a show. Sure, they do great food n drinks, but it’s the atmosphere that makes this joint a huge win. Just go there!! You’ll not regret your choice. Best night out in London!!!!

What can I say?! Absolutely love this venue! We hired the space for an album launch and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. The people are lovely and bend over backwards to accommodate you. Sound and lighting great, atmosphere can't be beaten and we look forward to coming back in 2024!

Best night out in London. Millie and Grace on the bar were phenomenal. Amazing customer service and made me feel so safe in their venue. Paddy supported the entire time. Cannot recommended enough. Perfect place to hang with friends and feel completely supported by staff the entire time. See you soon!

Ben and Matt behind the bar were honestly the friendliest and best barfolk I have had the pleasure to meet. They kindly played the songs I requested (inc. Whitney Houston and the YMCA) and even gave us a free round of drinks because of my EPIC dancing! Definitely would come back! Thanks to you for a fantastic evening. 5 star.

Absolute gem! The Friday night cabaret was exceptional, such good fun, with an eclectic mix of easy going swing music, comedy, burlesque, and a marvellous Guinness World record holder hula-hoop artiste! Marvellous show, worth every penny. We would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

We went to see the opening performance of the Next Generation Burlesque! This was our first time here and to a burlesque show and we were not disappointed. The service and the entertainment were exceptional, just wised I could have had a pizza! The host, Chastity Belt was an outstanding compare with a voice to match. We were made to feel very welcome and at ease and had a fantastic evening with a variety of burlesque performers that would have something for everyone. We can’t wait to visit again and recommend this to anyone wanting something tantalisingly different !

This place never disappoints. Service is always good and the range of artists is second to none! Michael Twaits who does the Saturday Superstore is amazing and incredibly talented and so much fun to watch! Sometimes you are lucky to see some West End performers who like doing a turn on the stage when they come in for a drink after the show! There are no words that can say how fabulous this place is! It supports its artists and is one of the only privately owned clubs left in London. Truely inclusive club where everyone is welcome and it’s so chilled and friendly! A real hidden gem just off Charing Cross Road, a real must for theatre geeks who want to see new exciting entertainment in a exclusive environment!

Went on Saturday for their Eurovision Party. Been going since 2011 but this was the best night. Great staging with brilliant acts at the beginning, big screen to see everything and of course watching the festival live with like minded people. Felt very inclusive. Great refit of the place. Danced until 1am and went home happy.

The room's rough-round-the-edges decor gave the evening a really authentic atmosphere, but there was nothing rough about the compere, the pianist, nor the acts all of which were excellent. We had three plates of nibbles and were impressed by the great platefuls supplied. Would definitely recommend and go again.
