Went to the Dinosaur Encounter at Grovelands Park which is on from 24July till 10Aug 2021. It was a lovely park with waterway features. It was not too crowded and there were directions to follow for the exhibits. I love dinosaurs and so does my son. The dinosaurs were life size and some had perceived sounds of the creatures. Most had names and descriptions of each dinosaur but there were some with no details which was a shame. Tickets can be bought online for the encounter. It took about 30 minutes to do the whole thing. I would recommend it as a fun day out for dinosaur lovers. There are food kiosks along the route if needed.

Nice park with a beautiful lake. Lovely cafe inside with items for sale other than food and drinks. There is a playground lower in the woods, a children's playground by the cafe, and exercise equipment further down. Unfortunately, I saw a few rats by the lake that I didn't like.

It is always a pleasure to go for a walk around Grovelands Park, no matter which season we are in. The huge pond has to be the biggest attraction, especially with the amount of Ducks, Geese and Swans swimming! The large open green spaces are fantastic, and particularly for dogs to run around. Grovelands does have a few leisure faciltiies on offer- Basketball court,Tennis court, Bowling Green, Outdoor Gym and a Pitch & Putt course. There are two cafes located in the park (one being next to the Pitch & Putt). There are a few good trails around the park, and without a doubt they do bring an adventurous feeling throughout. The trail across the Wetlands area is great and even there being a forest to discover behind the pond. It is incredibly fascinating to see how many trees there are around, and of course there being plenty of benches to sit down and admire the natural scenery!

A gorgeous park that's big enough to make you feel outside of the city. The lake was filled with ducks and geese each time I've been. There's a lovely muddy oath up the top, and a nice wooded area too. Nicest park I've been to in North London so far.

I come often to this park as it' not far from me and I love it! A well maintained park and lovely to come to any time of year. There's a cafe which is very handy and a playground, perfect for children.

Lovely park with a lake and play area. I read online that the park closes at 8.30 we found ourselves locked in on arrival to the gate at 8.20 with no warning of them doing so, there was no number to call. A nice man helped us out. Never again

We pass the area frequently, but finally and spontaneously drove up to the gates and had a very pleasant walk about. When we visited there were a few model dinasaurs. Most in good condition others on need of re-assembly. I really enjoyed the area around the lake. Nearby was a decent cafe. So we had a relaxing break. In future we will most likely bring a light picnic with us. The park is well used by families, but definitely not over crowded.

Well kept public park, Flat wide pathways leading various routes around large grass areas good for picnics and playing sports. Lake has lots of wild bird variety plenty of benches to sit and watch the Swans. 9 holes of pitch n putt golf next to Cafe outdoor seating and convenience. Plenty of parking with disable spaces at the main gate.

A beautiful green space in North London. With a lake, wooded area and large open spaces which are ideal for dog walkers. A real gem.

A pleasant park surrounded by lots of greenery, there is supposed to be a boating lake but I couldn't see any boats. Good place for walking, cycling, jogging and taking the kids.

Jurassic encounter event at the park from 24 July to 10th august. Tickets bought online and thank God the weather was good. The kids had a good time seeing all the Dinosaurs 🦕 🦖. And then had a play in the park which was great due to the weather being 🌤. Kiosks nearby for a quick bite and snacks or ice creams 😋

Lovely local park with a large central pond hosting an array of aquatic wildlife. New playground in the forrest is also a great new addition. Pitch and put golf course is alot of fun. Cafe's ok but the toilets I'm afraid do leave alot to be desired from a cleanliness point of view.

Basketball courts still need attention. The "Wicksteed" outdoor gym area is looking a bit Dated/Old and rundown now( would be pleasant to see updated). Otherwise still one of best parks in the whole area. No doubt

Pitch and putt 9 hole golf course is £8 adults, which is a bit pricey for what it is. The lake is a decent size and the park apparatus is rather limited. It's an okay park I guess.

Just the perfect place for my grandchildren to play in and so beautiful and Peaceful by the large pond. The ice cream in the centre of the park is a delight and packed with all you need on a hot summers day. Can't believe I'm. London.

A nice park, with children's play ground and lots of open grassland, Basketball courts. There is also a large pond with water birds, and wooded area with a trail. Small cafe serving snack and hot food.

Five stars because we had a hilarious time in the playground, exercise equipment and obstacle area. Probably not quite how you're supposed to use them but it gave us joy. Went for a walk but played like children. Much needed in the cold and grey start to the year

Lovely park in a beautiful setting. Gorgeous lake and lovely walks. The cafe has an amazing selection of stuff. Even though I did have to pay £11.50 for three small lollies and an ice cream tub.

Lovely park! Perfect place for a walk. You can easily spend a whole day in there having a lot of activities you can do for free. Whether is fishing, running, gold or exercises using the machines, the park is gonna keep you busy. I've seen two playgrounds, one in the park and the other one in the forest, so they will never get bored. I've seen a variety of birds on the lake and around it, I was actually sitting on bench and enjoying the view. It is a very peaceful place and I think I just found the place to enjoy my free time. Very beautiful place

Beautiful park, really family friendly with two play areas and places to feed the ducks and geese. Pitch and putt with little cafe and an indoor cafe next to the playground. We love this park!

Was a very wet day when we went to the Jurassic encounter. very muddy as we went at the end of their time there. didn't spend much time in the rest of the park but I'm sure on a sunny day or cold winter day it would be lovely to explore.
