πŸ‘πŸ‘ I love it here. The area has changed so much. The area that flooded is very marshy and water plants have grown. We went for a walk in the woods. Then we walked over the back behind Daneland. This too has changed as it used to be meadows People often mention park, walk,

Today I had my first walk through this park.. Is a large green area with a small river with few bridges over... is a great place for walks with family or with your furry buddy. There are sport activities area ... didn't give 5 stars just as I like garden and flowers in a park...otherwise the park has benches and you can have a great fresh afternoon outdoor...( now in Lockdown )

There has been recent work to provide additional drainage from the stream through the woods from the College which has been beautifully carried out and is lovely to work past. The Council deserves a huge appreciation for this work as it has transformed a portion of the park. Hats off Barnet.

Lovely natural surroundings for a walk with some elevation gain. Have also seen what we think were either long eared bats or noctules by the car park on several occasions. Most dog owners there seem responsible but shame about some people (namely the light haired woman with a bob haircut and a black dog) not having their dog under control and letting it run at people without apologies.

Honestly if you are not into long hikes but you love nature, forestry and streams this is the place. It must be thousands of years old and completely untouched, you can actually walk round it in 20 minutes and see a wide variety of peaceful nature

Beautiful even on a cloudy day, lovely oak trees. It's a great place to keep fit with all the hills, with a fantastic view from the top. Fab cafe to rest and grab a coffee.
