Bluebell Wood, London

Tourist attraction β€’ Park

😐 This is a really tiny area. On Google maps it's pin lands on a large area of green, this area is the golf course, which you cannot access from the woods. You can explore these woods twice in ten minutes, so if you are looking for a more extensive walk it might be wise to look elsewhere

Great 'secret woods'. Kids will love it. Dens have been made, home made swing, etc. Walk a dog. Romantic walk for couples. Muddy when wet, so bring wellies. Free street parking next to entrance.

Hidden little woods, but little is the word. It's tiny, and very muddy (at least when I went) but a nice spot to feel like you're not in the city.

Just 1 hectare of ancient woodland. A small oasis of calm with birdsong and ancient oaks. Now has a FB page

A small (hectare) of ancient woodland tucked away amidst the endless suburbs of North London. Much smaller than the nearby Highgate Woods or Queen's Woods it is, nevertheless, a little gem. Known mostly to local dogwalkers, it provides welcome respite and, in the spring, birdsong and blossom. If you're in the area, do yourself a favour and seek it out.

Little hidden gem that makes you feel like you're not even in London. It's quite small, so it's nice to visit if you're walking past anyway.

Small but perfectly formed. Hidden behind muswell hill golf course. I like walking my dog there as its fenced all the way round and he cant get up to mischief (he's a greyhound)

Everything you could ask for in a country pub. Good beer, traditional pub food at sensible prices and plenty of outside space for the family. There are a couple of walks close by to help sharpen your appetite. The staff were friendly and competent. The Candlestick is a real find but you will need your own transport to get there. I like this place.
