Great park, especially for dog owners. It’s a great space to work out and run if that’s your thing. There is a Co-op near by and a coffee shop across the street too. Currently it’s being renovated and rejuvenated but there is still a good sized area open to the public.

A decent local park in Central London. Not like the big parks of London, but yet fairly big. The park has playground areas for kids and volleyball. Dog friendly. Public transportation is just near by and also the Bike Sharing Station. You have supermarket just across the street to buy stuff for picnics. Enjoy :)

Lovely park. I’ve walked round it so many times to get my steps in. Loads of space and an outdoor gym, basketball court, volleyball court & ping pong table. So much to do in such a small park! Love it here!

Lots of open space. Its great for a long dog walk Lots of other dog to play with. Always clean. Waiting patiently for the works on the south side to be completed. Great space for children. Avoid during hot days. It's packed of people who have a good time however leave all their rubbish in the park. It's a horrible place until it's cleaned

Update: they're doing a ton of construction on the park now, so space is limited. Wouldn't recommend it til that's finished. A bit rough around the edges, but a great park for morning walks and running laps (running around the main path is exactly 1km).

Beautiful mid sized park with a local feel. There is a small playground for kids at one end and a stumpy climbing rock in the middle, which is very popular with rock climbers for practicing. Can get rather overcrowded on hot sunny days but then again which park in London doesn’t. Generally quiet with no loud music. BBQ not allowed! Popular with dog walkers and joggers alike. I do claim this park to be my own 😂

After going swimming on a hot day. Took the children to the park. Nice area for passing the time and a great play area for the kids. Would definitely visit again in the summer as I don't live close by (pity) as I do like the playground

Took my 4 year old niece and she loved it. Lovely little sand pit. Small area but very well equipped for its size. More than enough to keep a little one happily engaged.

Lovely Park near the Regents Canal, quite spacious but cozy at the same time. Great for couples, family with kids and picnics, Dog walking, jogging and exercise. The park has few sports facilities, an adventure playground, children's playground with sandpit, hammocks, ping pong tables, an outdoor beach volleyball court. Quite crowded in Weekend Summer, if sunny. Open at every hour. It is a great spot to look at the sky at sunset.

This park had been through a recent upgrade and now boasts a new playground, a beach volley pitch (not sure if it’s a new-built or revamp) and a new basketball court. It is busy especially in summer time. Britannia Leisure Centre is next door.

Shoreditch park - which has now perhaps lost that status* - is such an important space as it is the only decent size green space hosting perhaps 2 million people, 100s of dogs and a lot of crows and other wildlife. *But recently in 2020 the mayor of Hackney with his team decided to chop parts of the park to build even more flats - several towers already built in every corner of the area and Old Street. They relocated the leisure centre onto the park to make space for flats - cutting many trees and green space. They did this just as people were locked in during COVID. Then they build a bike station in the park. Then they removed the fence around on a few places. Then they allowed bikes to cut across in many ways, turning the park into a multi-road crossing. Unfortunately no one seems to have the power to protect that little green space left.

Park itself is decent. It mainly the fences That need to be changed completely 💯 It old and mucky no point in sandpapering it. Have a look ya self then be the judge of it also need to apply rest rooms W/C it a must have.

A nice park however at present there's some work going on so you can't access bits of it. A great place to walk your dog, run or play frisbee!

The park is currently being dug up (purpose not entirely clear to casual walkers-by like us) so is not at its best. But still, it's a nice green and peaceful spot in the midst of estates and all. I look forward to seeing it when all the digging is finished :-)

Nice park to jog around or play football (jumpers for goal posts style) They are redoing the turf so a large part is out of action at the moment should be nice when it is done. Britannia leisure centre overlooking the park is a lovely new facility with loads to do for whole family.

A lovely Sunny, Sunday Stroll along the paths and surrounding Shoreditch streets. Stopping only for supplies, some supplements for the body, for my feat. Strange how dark turns to light, and light, to dark. My friends and I talk, converse and chat about our wonderful world and its plight.

The council has given the park has a valuable revamp. There's now an outdoor gym, a beach volleyball court, a new playground and playing field plus extensive landscaping to augment the big climbing rock and wide open space for the doggies.

Lovely wide open space. Just a shame about all the fencing still up. Still a great park.

It is a very nice place to go. There are many playgrounds, nice benches but I couldn't find the restrooms.

I personally love this park. I lived close by for more than a year and enjoy this place a lot. The park is quite big, but only with few trees mostly around perimeter. So people more chill here, play games, do some spots and etc. There is a good road for jogging, spot with sand, also a big stone for climbing and so on. It's quite common to see lots of people with dogs too, they normally gather around 6 pm and play all together, it's really a joy. The park also nice for a picnic or just sitting on grass. The downside that there are a few places open near here where you can buy something, mostly grossery shops.

Not a particularly pretty park but it’s great to have a big, almost-enclosed space for the dog in zone 2.

Perfect puppy park for trained dogs, it's large enough for them to bound around and have some fun. Lots of picnickers and people exercising.

A great space for tossing the ball . Love the green space to get away back to nature in the big city! There seems to be something for everyone here.

Went there for a run and boxing session. Huge park and you can see people doing different activities, running, walking their dog, rock climbing, and different kind of sports.

  • 4/5 Robin M. 2 years ago on Google
Fairly quiet, with a wood chip running track around the perimeter. Great for doing exercise too (circuits, Pilates etc), and close to a co-op for picnic supplies
