I
came
to
dine
in
Padella
after
hearing
all
the
hype
around
it
,
but
I
would
say
I
had
a
mediocre
experience.
We
got
in
the
online
queue
around
opening
time
and
had
to
wait
about
15
minutes.
The
restaurant
is
very
tight
fit
,
with
decent
amount
of
seats
yet
no
space
for
the
chairs
and
tables.
We
sat
downstairs
and
it
was
hard
to
get
into
the
inside
table
as
it’s
very
cramped.
Moving
onto
the
food,
we
ordered
the
burrata
to
which
the
waitress
told
us
that
it
only
comes
as
it
is,
without
any
breads
or
anything
to
go
with
it.
We
ended
up
ordering
the
bread
but
personally
,
my
friend
and
I
did
think
that
if
you’re
paying
£9.50
for
burrata
….
It
should
at
least
come
with
something
else
,
not
literally
just
cheese
and
oil
.
The
burrata
and
sourdough
bread
were
nice
to
be
fair.
The
first
pasta
dish
we
tried
was
the
Fettuccine
with
fennel
&
chilli
sausage
ragu
and
my
friend
and
I
didn’t
like
it
all.
Firstly,
the
dish
was
served
to
us
cold
and
it
was
just
very
flavourless.
Then
after
we
had
the
Fettuccine
with
Cobble
Lane
Cured
nduja,
mascarpone
&
lemon
and
the
Pici
cacio
&
pepe
pasta
dish.
We
both
liked
the
pici
cacio
&
pepe
pasta
dish
,
it
was
very
simple
yet
delicious
.
It
was
cheesy,
buttery
and
peppery.
With
the
njuda
fettuccine
,
it
was
nice
,
my
friend
particularly
enjoyed
that
one
but
I
thought
it
was
just
okay
.
Overall,
I
would
say
my
experience
at
Padella
was
very
average
.
Not
sure
if
I’ll
be
back.
