Photos clearly not recent as there was mould on the walls, cracked wallpaper etc. It was also very dirty, floor was filthy, shower and toilet had awful-coloured stains in them (as well as hair), there was hair in our bed as well as other stains on the pillows and sheets (both on the top and underneath sheets). We had to take the towels to sleep on top of them because there wasn’t space to squeeze between the stains. Furthermore, we had to pay 5£ cash to leave our bags which wasn’t communicated on the website or in the emails. As their card machine “wasn’t working” we had to pay cash for the night’s stay too and the worst part is they tried to put the blame on us, insinuating that we didn’t have enough money in our bank account!! All in all, it was a very uncomfortable stay with very unfriendly staff (bordering on rude). It was such a shame because our stay in London was full of great experiences but then we had to end each day by going back to that place…it really left a sour taste on a great trip!

If you are looking for an overpriced centrally located shoebox, this is your perfect location!!! Our room was tiny, yet we booked the deluxe room. They have 'coffee making facilities' but don't provide cups or spoons. When we asked for these we got plastic cups and plastic knives. Only 1 towel per person and 1 pillow per person provided. They have a vending machine in the reception which is 2/3 empty. The cleaner also tried to come into the room each morning between 6 and 7 even our first morning when we had just checked in the night before - we had to ask her to leave. Two redeeming features were the A/C and the shower was nice. Most annoyingly they precharged one night two days before we got there and then proceeded to charge the full amount (3 nights) upon our arrival. When I questioned this they said it was in the terms (I checked it wasn't in our booking terms) and was told it was just a pre-authorisation and not to worry about it. I wasn't happy with this so went back and had to explain to them that they had essentially charged us for 4 nights and it wasn't acceptable. The man told us he would void the first charge once we checked out. I refused and insisted he do it there and then as he was withholding our money. Thankfully he listened and did reverse the initial charge, but this shouldn't have been an issue at all. I would not return to this hotel, nor would I recommend it to people. Its priced for its location, but 100% not worth what you pay. Stay further out of the city, and get a better hotel for the same amount and use public transport to get around.

Best thing is close to Victoria underground and coach station. Considering how tiny the room was the shower size was good and great pressure. However....the cleanliness is below par. Photos 📸 show dirt, dust and things missed. May have been acceptable if room rate half the price

Horrible experience! Will NOT recommend it to ANYONE. If you are looking for good service and to continue an enjoyable trip- PLEASE choose any other hotel, rather than this one! My husband and I were visiting and booked a room at Tudor. Upon arrival, our room was NOTHING as the pictures we saw online. It was SO tiny, that we could not even fit our luggage, let alone have any room left to walk. The lights were flickering in the room. The TV did not have anything but radio on it (WTH?). The washroom was so claustrophobic, I could barely move an arm in there and to top that, the washroom door was broken. The windows had mold on them and spider webs. The front desk did not listen to our needs and did not move us into the room we paid for, rather told us to pull through the night and wait until the manager comes in the next morning. The next morning, the manager showed up at our room and started banging on our door. We told him we were having a discussion about how misleading everything was before we booked the room. He entered our room and was on a power trip saying he is the manger and that we cannot express how upset we are to him. We were livid upon hearing this because we had paid for a whole week. He refused to give us a refund and told us to leave. He got close to my face and said he will call cops, which he did. The cops came in and said they have had a lot of complaints about him from others at this hotel. They themselves were amazed at the rooms condition we were staying at and told us to document everything, which we did! The whole experience was insane. I came back to get something I needed out of my room and the manager shut and locked the front door on us. What an inconsiderate cheapster! Never had such an experience ANYWHERE. His hotel did not even provide breakfast and he charged an arm and leg for a place that was even smaller than a typical sized washroom. Luckily, we were able to find another hotel which was WAY better. Good management, clean/friendlier environment to stay in and they provided breakfast! Our trip was saved :) whew!

Fair priced, I good specification room for an overnight or couple of nights. Not too many hotel facilities, but that's not why you come here. Good location with pubs, restaurants and shops locally and good access to bus, tube and mainline rail

Looking at the reviews of this hotel can be off putting but it appears it's had some improvements since some of these. We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were clean (no mould) and very modern. The bathroom had a lovely shower. The rooms are a little small but enough space for a short stay. The location is good, a short 8-10 minute walk to both Victoria and Pimlico tube stations. The price is quite high for what you get, but that seems to be common for hotels in the area.

It’s ok. They advertise themselves as a three star hotel so I guess they can have three stars here. Maybe 2.5 rounded up. The bed is really comfortable, The A/C in room is good The shower is good The whole room (I’m in lower ground) rattles every four minutes or so from what I assume is a tube train near by Bit pricey for what you get really, but this whole area is a total rip off so I guess it’s normal ! Plenty of power points and lights, USB in wall Build quality overall a bit rushed but not really bad The TV has a thousand channels but only the first few work…. But you’re in central London turn the TV off and go inspect the funny hats that everyone seems to wear around here

Our room was tiny even though it was a deluxe room. We could here the tube every 5 minutes underneath our room ! The bed was comfortable, the A/C and shower were good. We were asked to pay upon arrival even though I had already given my card details with the booking. Then none of our cards worked (no reason why they wouldn’t work…) so we were asked to go and get cash. I didn’t get an invoice either and when I asked for one I got asked to fill out an information paper that I had already filled out at check in. I will not return to this hotel and I would not recommend it. The location was good, 10 minutes walk from Victoria station, but that was about it. Expensive for what we got.

Stayed for one night, wanted a clean room with a good shower and the Tudor Inn delivered. Room was on 2nd floor so a few stairs to negotiate. We had to check in over the road at a hotel that was being renovated. Check in and out was easy and staff were polite. Room was small but clean, it had air conditioning which was very welcome, a comfy bed and amazing shower. There was no noise during the night and curtains kept most of the light out. Would have liked another pillow, only one per person provided. As other people have mentioned the towels were on the small side and bizarrely no teaspoons are provided. Only a short walk from hotel to pimlico and Victoria stations and a host of places to eat and drink. Would stay here again.

I would highly recommend avoiding this place. First off the room we originally stayed in had no hot warm and the amenities were limited. It’s difficult to get in touch with anyone who works there. After a few days of trying to make the first room work, they eventually switched our room to another one because of how much the first room was lacking. Prior to booking this room, we told them we were bringing cats at which they said wasn’t a problem. When we checked out, they told us we wouldn’t get our deposit back because we had cats in a room that wasn’t suppose to have animals. We did not choose this room, we were told to move to another room by staff even after reminding them again we have cats with us. So basically the staff member messed up and we didn’t get our despot back even though we had nothing to do with their mess up. The only good thing about this place is that there are bus stops close by, otherwise this location is terrible.

Tiny room, but ok for my needs. Comfy bed, walking distance to Victoria station. Pleasant surprise to find a hair dryer, could have used a few more hangers. Overall a good find.

Dirty Place! Certainly the dirtiest hotel that I have been too. It’s disgusting. Hair everywhere, filthy stains on the sheets, AC broken, … Look at the pictures and decide for yourself.

Room is clean and has everything I would want in a room. The room is not big but it serves me and my wife needs perfectly. The shower is big and brilliant. Very convenient and within walking distance of Victoria Station. For our first stay in London we find it perfect.

Very Close to Victoria Station which was handy. Had to go over the other side of the road into a different building to check in. We tried paying by card but there Machine had connection issues and would not let us pay by card and told us to go to nearest shop to get the cash out . Not to much of an issue. Not the cleanest toilet. Comfy Bed and perfect for what we needed.

Friendly, clean comfortable bed. Lots of plugs. Perfect tea and coffee facilities in the room. Lots of choice of lighting. A hairdryer in the room. And a shower to die for. A nice sized wardrobe the room was small but perfect for me and my husband. I would recommend ot and we will be coming back.
