This is a Basic double room review. Do not expect much, "basic" means "sleep". Showers and toilet outside the room, lower floors (showers 1 floor down, toilets 2 floors down). Two beds and no space for luggage. Sink in the room, with soap. Improvised "just to fit the requirements", not for customer needs. Clean enough. One night and nothing more.

Ideal for pre and post performance at theatres nearby. Reasonably priced, decent meals. Ambience is good.

This is a very basic (low cost) hotel. BUT---the room was cleaned daily, the towels were always fresh and plentiful, the continental breakfast was perfect to start our day and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We really appreciated the front desk being manned 24/7. The central location made it very easy to get to all of the tourist attractions. We'll use the hotel again the next time that we're in London.

The fan in the room was not clean and dust i visible. Little amount of shower gel. Water coming from the shower head is not powerful enough to get a quick shower. At least a complimentary bottle of water was not offered in the room given how expensive the room rate.

Ok this is a very simple place and had everything I needed. If your looking for rooms with private bath then ask for the top floor room 11 had one. Otherwise its shared baths bee prepared to climb stairs as there is no lift/elevators. But I must say the staff is wonderful and the price and location is just right. So if your not to picky this is your place.

When we arrived there seemed to be only one staff member present, though Iโ€™m sure there are more. The receptionist was the only staff member I saw. She is polite, though tends to block the door while on her smoke break as we found out later. The breakfast is free but not the best, itโ€™ll do you for the morning but if you want something more substantial you should head elsewhere. The room was, while small, in excellent condition and VERY clean which made sleeping and showering very pleasant (I canโ€™t stress enough that the place was honestly spotless when my girlfriend and I entered). The bed was also comfy, and we had a decent nights sleep. Internet is free and provided to you upon check in. Honestly for a budget hotel you could do much, MUCH worse. So whether youโ€™re just staying for one night or a week, this is a nice, well located hotel near Victoria station and the theatres, would definitely stay again if the need arises.

You get what you pay for. I enjoyed my stay here but the room was tiny, the bathroom is shared and tiny. Luckily I didn't have to wait for the restroom or shower. The amenities list says airport shuttle which is why I stayed here but they don't have a shuttle. They'll call a taxi for you to pay 50 or 60 pounds to get to the airport, all out of your pocket. Breakfast was just enough to get by but was kinda sad. It's a charming little place. Just know you're getting what you pay for.

Not at all impressed - bad night's sleep as bed was awful and very uncomfortable, had to go down a narrow set of stairs to have a shower ๐Ÿšฟ (and shower was not good or particularly clean) or use the toilet. Had to haul my luggage up 2 flights of narrow, twisting stairs to get to my small, cramped and dingy room (lock on the room did not work very well and was difficult to lock) . None of this was explained when the room was booked. Breakfast not good and no one around to tell me whether it was buffet, or not, style breakfast. Only saw 1 member of staff when I checked in and (eventually) found another member of staff in the morning - quite rude and not at all friendly. I would NOT recommend and/or stay here again!!!

Our room and the showers were clean, the location absolutely perfect and the little contact we had with the staff was nice and uncomplicated. Yes, the walls are thin and you hear traffic through the window and yes, it's not the Ritz, but considering the price it was absolutely fine for a couple of nights. Breakfast consists of a small variety of toast, small muffins and muesli, which was also fine. In your room you have a small water heater, mugs and tea bags, a blow dryer, a portable heater, small tv and a sink. The bed is fairly small for two people, I'd say around 1,30 m in width, so keep that in mind, if you need a lot of space. In short walking distance you'll find several grocery stores, restaurants, pubs and places to get good coffee, like Pret A Manger. Keep the low price in mind, keep your expectations realistic and you'll enjoy your stay in the middle of London ;)!

Cheap and cheerful hotel in good position for train and seeing London sights. Friendly staff. Rooms clean if small. lots of stairs if you're on higher floors, no lift. Fan, tea and coffee, and hairdryer in room. Breakfast is continental style self service. For the price you pay good value.
