Perfect experience for a low budget accommodation in London. The individual room offered everything I needed for my stay, with a nice bed and a private bathroom. Had a good interaction with everyone, the system to lock the room and access the building was great. It is a great place to stay, the location is amazing, allows for easy and quick transportation anywhere. I strongly recommend

DO NOT STAY HERE. We expected small but did not expect unliveable. Filthy dirty - dust everywhere and my feet were black after a few steps when I took my shoes off; awful smell throughout which they tried to disguise with toilet freshener spray sprayed around reception; Curtains ripped, mouldy and falling off rails; broken window glass; hole in the ceiling were fan obviously used to be but not patched up; shower door inside knobs broken off; TV bracket hanging on by one screw basically about to fall off wall; we booked the breakfast option (for extra $) but apparently they haven’t served breakfast in 3 years. You get a styrofoam cup each and that’s it for your stay. Room not serviced. Staff not willing to help. Poor security; The location is great but does not out way all the things wrong. I would not leave my dog here! Would give 0/5 but can’t or the review won’t upload.

Good value and great location. I read the Google reviews after booking on Booking.com and was slightly worried however we had no problems with our room and was pleasently surprised. We had plenty of clean towels, tea and coffee, bedding was nice and clean and fresh. There is soap and shower gel in dispensers, and a TV. Staff were friendly. Everything we needed for a weekend stay. This is a budget basic hotel so don't be expecting 4 or 5 stars it is a basic room a bit dusty around the skirting boards etc but for the price and location we had no complaints. We were out all day so didn't need anything other than a bed and shower. We had a family room which had one double bed which was 2 singles pushed together and 2 separate single beds. There was a area to hang your clothes and a couple of drawers. There was also a safe in the room however we didn't use it. It is in a nice quiet location, close distance to cafés the bus station and underground. Buckingham palace is about a 25 minute walk away. Would definitely book again for a weekend trip.

Riddled with bed bugs!!!!! Tiny room with lamp swinging out of the wall, dusty, bed is two single beds pushed together which roll apart and away when you lie on them, up a million flights of narrow rickety stairs, requested a refund and hotel ignored me

We stayed for one night in a family room. It’s a great location close to Victoria station. The room was clean enough with everything we needed and the beds were comfy, we all had a good nights sleep. Our room was located in the annex to the main hotel which is actually located around the corner in Cambridge street. The set up was a little odd with our bathroom being located down the hall accessible only by us via our door key card. It kind of looked like a house that had been hurriedly turned into a hotel but for the price we paid we were happy it’s only listed as a 2 star hotel after all so we knew it was going to be rough around the edges.

Repeatedly called their 'official' number posted on their communications, they never answered. As soon as I got into the bathroom, the lock broke and trapped me inside. Over 40 minutes they would not pick up their official phone, and ended up having to call the fire brigade. The hotel man was completely unapologetic and actually asked if I'd tried turning the lock. I'm not giving one star because the location is great and the room seemed clean.

If I can give a zero I will! The worst hotel experience ever, everything in here is disgusting. When you enter the room you can already tell that its not properly cleaned. Tables are dusty, curtains are stained, they just left a broken fan inside the closet, one fan is super dirty and dusty! It made me sick all through out my vacation. Stay away from this hotel its not good for your health. I wonder why they are still operating because they don’t pass the standards to be called hotel. Need to be close asap

The single beds were joined, but both had old mattresses that were very soft and uneven. The beds had wheels and constantly moved when getting up, going to bed, and moving while sleeping. The bed lamp was completely destroyed and old, giving a bad image. The primary mirror of the bathroom sink was about to fall, being dangerous and giving a horrible image. I have photos of everything. This hotel seems to need better maintenance service or to take better care of it. I do not recommend it. We all expect that the room is tiny to be London, but the attention to detail is frankly inadequate and must be said because it cannot be allowed.

0 out of 5!!!! Rude and unprofessional. Front desk service was abysmal. There was little to no communication amongst the staff and third party bookings are a joke here. The staff is impatient and rude and refuse to listen or help foreigners despite their own outward appearance (because they will use that as an excuse to say they weren’t rude to us). Would never come back here! Front desk man also followed us outside and continued to pester us as we were leaving, he watched us until we walked down the street to book another reservation. Disgusting behavior!!!

I rang the hotel prior to our visit to ask for a ground floor room due to both of us having mobility issues and was told "of course " no problem" . We arrived and were told our room was on the 2nd floor in the annexe. After a little while we were moved to the 1st floor in the main hotel. Extremely small room with twin beds just about fitting in the space. Lights not working and room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Bathroom was across a small corridor. Shower screen not wide enough so water went all over the floor. Only 1 light working in Bathroom with the light over the sink broken and was very dark. We put up with it as there was no alternative and we were on a short break.

An option if your budget is constrained or you plan on being out all day. I wouldn't recommend it overall, but it was cheap compared to everything else, and we needed it as a pit stop on our way back home. Not family friendly (definitely not good for families with kids) This is more of a hostel (really an old house whose rooms are being used as bedrooms) The bathroom is detached (you have to walk across a hallway) and very small The whole place is old. I could say a lot more, but you get the point... stay away from it.

hotel "Sheriff" is located in the center of the London near the all interesting places, near the bus and underground stations, and it's only one advantage of this hotel. We booked a room in this hotel for 5 days. During this time no one cleaned the room or even took out the trash!!!! Beside this we got this room dirty. The room is too small, the suitcase doesn't fit in a double room. But the most important thing- ther is a mold on the bed!!!!! And ther is a smell of this mold in the room!!!! It's impossible to be there

This Hotel is a dump. Broken stairs, mold on the curtains. Half of the outlets work, most of things fall apart and you cannot turn on or off the heat. And what's more they will not make the room and pretend it's normal. You may ask for something you will never get it. The customer service is the rudest I've encountered. And again they think it's normal...

If you need a quick clean place to lay your head with no frills or extra accommodations. This is ok. TINY ROOM. They pushed 2 twin beds together but they would not stay together so you technically fall through. 3 steps from door to bed. 1 turn around in The bathroom. 2 bath towels 1 hand towel. And shower gel. Sink in the room with mirror. That's it. The hair dryer was by the window Not near a mirror which is odd and useless. NO AC. only a fan. Walking distance to Victoria Station is the only perk to this hotel. You have to ask for fresh towels if you want that daily.

Room dirty, TV didn't work, light hanging off wall with live wire on show, shower door didn't shut and when I asked for an ironing board the receptionist couldn't be less helpful. Really disappointed for price.

Very well located close to Victoria train/ subway station. Lot's of restaurants, shops very close by the hotel venue. No room service available due to covid regulation

It's a cheap hotel in an expensive location. It's very much a functional place to sleep. My room had numerous things that needed repairing (the heated towel rail was on the floor as the wall brackets were broken) - however, no issues for a single night.

The location of the Sherrif hotel was its biggest attraction. I phoned before booking, to ask about rooms on ground floor and was assured, I would be given a ground floor room with ensuite, as my Son is okish on stairs. On arrival, their was some dispute going on at reception while, we were checking in. I was disappointed to be told, no room available on ground and rooms on 1st floor had ensuite. Off we went, two flights up into the room. Was adequate for our stay. Good shower and bed. TV control did not work but as we did not use it let it go. On leaving, I did point this out to reception. To be fair, I would return as the location was perfect for me.

This place is disgusting. Our room number was 26. The floor was filthy. Bugs in the bed. The window sill was rotting. The curtains were filthy. No air or fan. No breakfast as the website advertises. The bathroom worked but so many issues. The price you are paying per night for this disgusting place is horrendous.

A HEALTH & SAFETY HAZARD The worst hotel I've ever stayed in hands down... nothing like what's on the photos. Expectation vs Reality: the master edition The location is great can't fault that... but the gaff is CRAWLING with bed bugs. My friend and I both got bitten so badly it impacted our quality of life for weeks afterwards. The bugs were huge as well, I got a photo of one massive lad after it'd no doubt been feasting off my blood. Complained to the hotel and they denied it and refused to refund lol, classic... even though I had a photo and literally all their other reviews say the same. Stay at your own risk. I'd say sleep on the floor tbh, but the room's weren't clean either... and so small I could barely open the bathroom door. The lamp was hanging off the wall, looked like someone had punched it (can't blame them tbh) and the 'double' bed (as well as being infested with raging bed bugs) was two small singles pushed together... but were separate and on wheels and kept drifting apart in the night. Only plus side was the room was that small, that when one half rolled off it hit the wall & came back. There was no towels in the room either and a fella walked in on me after I'd already checked in and was getting ready to go out, just came on into the room. After I'd already had to have a shower and dry my hair on the pillowcase and use my top as a bathmat.
