Wonderful park, good place for a stroll. There are a few small attractions to see. I would say Kyoto gardens is definitely worth a visit. We went on a Sunday and thought it may be very packed but surprisingly there weren't too many people. The peacock living there is not shy! Loves to flaunt!

A small park located at the western edge of central London. Nearest station is Holland Park. This is more closer to a landscaped garden than a normal park that we see all over London because this park contains a lot of man made structures in addition to natural environment. Park has plenty of seating scattered everywhere. There are even tables. There is a bar, cafe and a wedding hall named Orangery. This park houses the famous Kyoto garden and Fukushima garden. They are landscaped well but very small.

I went there expecially for the Japanese garden and I wasn't disappointed. Its worth to pay a visit. They have a adventure playground that looks very good fun and it would be great to bring children in there.

Visit on a work day to avoid the crowd, according to the suggestion from some of the posts which proved to be useful. It was quiet, peaceful and full of elegant details. Both the Dutch garden and the Japanese garden are beautiful. I can imagine how busy this place can be on a weekend.

One of the most amazing parks in London. The park used to be the grounds of Cope Castle, a large Jacobean mansion built it in the early 17th century. It was renamed Holland House after the Earl of Holland’s wife Lady Rich inherited the property. Holland House was badly damaged during World War II. One part of the mansion was saved and is used as a youth hostel. In the summer there is a theatre in a section of the front terrace that was saved.

This is such a huge park inside which there is Kyoto Gardens, Duch gardens, children's playing area and so much more... I loved the way they have maintend this park. It's very clean and kids friendly. Also, my favorite was the Kyoto gardens, which is picture perfect in every way. People come here for running, with dogs, kids, and also to read books, have sunbath, or just chill around.

A lovely park in the Kensington area that makes for a nice walk or picnic. Within the park, there's a cafe, a charming Kyoto garden, children's playground and a venue (The Orangery) which hosts events and weddings. There's also hostel type accommodation (Safestay) in the middle of the park. The park is not accessible 24/7. At the time of visiting, it opened at 7:30am and closed 30 minutes before dusk. Wildlife includes herons, peacocks and a lot of squirrels! Public toilets free to use. Dogs are allowed in the park but not in the Kyoto garden. Car park also available to use.

Visited the park on a sunny Sunday , the park is easily accessible from the tube station. Park has lots of things to offer for everyone to enjoy from kids to adults. Kyoto garden was the main reason for me to visit this place. The Kyoto garden was the most busy one ..with lot of people trying to get pictures. It's a very pretty garden with peacocks . The park itself was very crowded so plan your visit , I would avoid the weekends.

The Adventure Playground is amazing. My kids would spend hours there without any complaining going on. Plenty of activities, swings, sand pits, a small trampoline and so many climbing activities for kids. They absolutely loved it. There is a parking straight near the park but I guess is quite pricey. Toilets are available at the entrance but be aware that the ones located bear the playground have stairs. Holland park has some amazing spots to visit. A great day out with plenty of things to do in one place! Have plenty of snacks and drinks with you as it is quite a walk to the nearest shop.

Haven't been to Holland Park in years. What better way to start your morning with a coffee and a chocolate and almond croissant at Gail just few meters away from the South Kensington entrance. The park is small enough to enjoy it without getting to tired. It's also a great place to catch up with friends, plus enjoying the beautiful Japanese garden and Holland Garde area The park has even a kids playground.

Amazing park with the Kyoto garden and Dutch garden, the great adventure park for the kids and the ecology centre there’s something for everyone. It’s a great outdoor place to walk or sit and have a picnic, also spot a few peacocks and fishes in the pond. It’s right next to the design museum so the fun can continue next door too as there’s free entry for the family. On another day we went after 3pm and parked for free close to the Ilchester place entrance which was good as close to the children’s play area, ecology centre and Kyoto garden.

Beautiful park with many interesting things. Clean and quiet. I felt there like in wild forest. However, here is a lot of places for picnic and many playgrounds for children. Also, the most popular place to visit in this park is Kyoto Garden, with small lake, waterfall and two peacocks. Highly recommend to visit this park

This is a very well maintained park with a more natural wild part and the well looked after gardens, like the Kyoto garden. There is plenty of space to walk. The wildlife here is interesting to see as well, there is a resident peacock, a grey heron, the koi fish, all the little birds and the thousands of friendly squirrels. Really worth the visit. Holland Park is a beautiful and tranquil park in the heart of London. It is home to a variety of gardens, including the Kyoto Garden, the Italian Garden, and the Pergola. There are also several playgrounds, a sports field, and an outdoor gym. The park is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, and it is a great place to relax, have a picnic, or play sports. Overall, I highly recommend Holland Park to anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to relax in London.

Easy to find from the Central line tube station. The park offers a choice of themed gardens. One of them being the ornate and beautiful Chinese garden. The signage is clear and the park itself is very clean. A good place to spend peaceful time. Away from the hustle and bussle of the city. Highly recommended for a crisp relaxing Sunday winter walk.

Tolle Parkanlage. Sauber, viele Wege und Gärten. Eine kleine Oase mitten in Kensington

So many different sections of this park to take nice pictures, have a picnic, beautiful scenery and just enjoy the day with family and friends. So many different wildlife to see too! The famous peacocks that roam around the gardens are tame and are beautiful to see. The waterfall runs over a small pond with koi fish, it’s absolutely BEAUTIFUL! A good opportunity to take a nice video for memories.

Nice large park with many nooks with wild and landscaped nature. you can work, relax, make a picnic or or just lying down. The flowering shrubs around smell beautiful. when you walk along the sidewalk, you would not think that there is a beautiful park behind the wall. Of course, you will meet a lot of people here

I seriously fell in love with this park and will be back to explore whenever I'm in London. In March the treesarestill bare and not that many things are in bloom, but it was still very much an enjoyable walk through the park. The park consist of different gardens that make it an interesting and versatile experience. I saw some people having a picnic and I think this a wonderful spot for just that on a sunny day. There are free public toilets that are in pretty good and clean condition, and there's also a cafe where you can get food and drinks. You can also grab whatever you want from the many cafes in the surrounding area.

Very pretty place, i went to see peacocks (which is a hit or miss for this park) but couldn’t find any unfortunately. It was still a really nice place to go to; however you should bring your own drinks and food as the cafe is quite expensive.

Beautiful park that includes a children's playground, pond and some small shops if you come early enough. The plants are very well kept, playground I'd always immaculate and it's generally policed well. Sometimes you get the occasional cyclist who "forgets" they aren't allowed to cycle through, but there's always one. Lovely place to spend time in the afternoon or evening when the opera is on as you can just hear it over the birds.

Nice and large park with many different areas to explore. From the rose garden, to the Kyoto garden, the playground , the cafe and so many other areas, including some where you can practice sports is a great place to have a walk and explore or just enjoy a picnic with your loved ones.

Like a fairytale place, this is an absolutely beautiful park. It's got everything, little lake, green everywhere, gorgeous birds and squirrels, absolutely fantastic! Whether if you want to go for a romantic walk, doing exercise, play with the children, enjoy a nice family moment, a beautiful picture, this place offers you a magic experience and more. Just one thing, please, don't feed the birds, they are very well looked after and they have an special diet and times, otherwise you are gonna make them sick, please 🙏. Facilities like toilet is available. Sometimes they are little stands selling ice cream or in this season, coffee, but there are some restrictions now with the pandemic. Take a look at this place, you will be delighted 👍❤

Funtastic park ! Located in central london near Buckingham Palace, there are so many animals such as birds, squirrels, and more. We could give the bird with some safe food for them. So relaxed when i was here. Should visit this place when you are in London !

I love this part of London at night. Its quiet and nothing goes on here. Its truly magnificent. London as a city is, in my opinion, so unique and culturally diverse. With an air of historical sentiment. London will forever be my favourite city, heck, even place on Earth. Nothing can compare to its energy and vibe. The richness of the architecture, the stark contrast between old and new just dotted around the place. It has so many hidden gems to find and explore and most importantly experience.

I loved it, if you like animals it's the right park for you. There are a lot of squirrels you can feed with nuts. There are also parrots and you can feed them with apples as well. The lake it's really cute and if you want to chill out this is the place. It's near Buckingham Palace. I would recommend before going to the park to get some nuts and apples for the animals.

Great small park next to Buckingham palace, with a pond in the middle full of ducks and swans. There is even a black swan. The squirrels running around are cute too. The animals are used to humans, so you might even get a chance to pet them. There are benches around the park, as well. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, it feels like an oasis in the heart of London.

Wonderful middle sized park, both the Dutch and Japanese gardens are well worth a walk around & well worth hunting to find the peacock. If the sports area is in use then can sit in the green space behind the Dutch garden. The toilets can be a little ... undesirable but access to a public toilet is a real plus if staying for a long time. Lovely place to meet freinds for a picnic, go read a book or simply go for a stroll.

Missed the blooming of tulips as I went in a month early. But a good park inside London. Kids have a big playground and is for different ages. In summer it can be a water park also. Small trails for walking and jogging. Car park payment via phonebyapp is tricky as you need to enter the location code manually. The white cherry blossom in Kyoto garden is a must see.

Fantastic park that is the grounds of an old country house which was bombed in the war. What is left of the house is part of a large youth hostel. The park still keeps the formal gardens and buildings from the house. There is a japanese garden which is a hidden gem of a place, with fountains and some lovely sculptures. The park has woodland, formal gardens, interesting statues and fountains, as well as the old buildings. There is also an outdoor theatre that appears to mainly put on opera. The cafe on site was very good and has a lot of internal and external seating. The park toilets in a separate building, while fully functional with driers, soap, etc are not the cleanest! We visited the Design museum which is attached to the park, and also enjoyed walking through the very affluent area spotting all the interesting houses and expensive cars. We really enjoyed this park and I would strongly recommend a visit.

  • 5/5 Izabella H. 1 year ago on Google
Great place for photography! I came here with my youth club and had a great time. It was kept very clean and tidy and had beautiful sights. Also, there was a play park which was also kept extremely tidy despite the amount of kids which were there. Would definitely visit again and recommend to all families.

One of my favourite parks in London! It's huge and there is a lot to see and do. Make sure you visit the Dutch garden and the Kyoto Garden, which are just stunning! Part of the park feels like a forest, which is quite nice, just be prepared for some muddy paths if you go there after or when it's raining. There are also toilets, cafe and parking available. If you play sports, there are also a couple of tennis courts there. The Design Museum at short walking distance, and it's also close to the Portobello Road market.

It is worth visiting this park, for the Kyoto gardens and the Dutch gardens (to be visited during the tulip flowering period). Relaxing place that allows you to disconnect from the frenetic life of a city like London.

Beautiful! So much to see and do. Opera field sports, running, children's area, tennis, dining, gardens. I always find something worthy of a photo.

Beautiful park, usually filled with people and animals - squirrels, peacocks and more. Very nice location to walk or exercise, sit and relax, or just go and enjoy your lunch while being surrounded by a unique park vibe.

Holland Park is probably the least known of the London parks and is situated in the London Borough of Kensington. Unlike its other counterparts, Holland Park is a much wilder landscape. The park is the grounds of Holland House once owned by Lord Holland and also incorporates the Dutch Gardens and Kyoto Gardens. At its Kensington High Road, it sits the Design Museum and its Ilchester Road side. It's a short walk to Leighton House.

Nice park although some parts need to be more taken care of... Nice mansion, tennis and football courts and plenty of green and squirrels...
