😠 This might have been the worst banking experience for me. Don't ever expect them to pick up the phone, which is the only way to make an appointment as of now. I was also told that i had to wait about 4 weeks to get the bank card after opening an new account. I don't think the staff is taking their b...     the worst bank service I have seen. I have tried my best to download bank statement from online bank and mobile bank. And this is very normal bank service for other bank like HSBC or even Monzo! But this bank they do not have this service! And I also can not receive my bank statement by mail on time. So I need go to branch bank. i have been waiting there for half hour. The thing is they have many staff there but do nothing! And just let me waiting! Such a low efficent work! And then when is my turn, they require 3 pounds for every month bank statement! I have never seen a bank like this rude manner, poor service and low efficent work! I hate this bank, it's wast my time and money!

    Useless service with poor customer skills. Not connected to Chinese mainland branch, making the whole concept of a Chinese bank in the UK a waste of time. Barclays bank solved my Chinese banking problems for me instead of these guys, maybe you should consider going to them instead.

    Didn't have a problem at all when I went the first time. But I don't know why the attitude of the staff at the counters are so rude when I went the second time. Seems to be that they get annoyed once it starts getting busy, all I did was ask if I had to pick a ticket to be served at the counter and I am met with attitude. I guess they don't like getting interrupted when they are busy. The customer service from the higher-ups are really great though!

    Awful service and never try to solve the customers' problems. And completely inefficient in handling anything, the staff don't even know how to collect new bank card, which is most basical in banking services. If you wanna waste your life and look for disastrous experiences, go for it!

    Terrible service! When I entered the station, no one paid any attention to me for five minutes...they were all busy with their own things, and no one said hello to me. It took a long time before someone asked me to get my number! It’s really baffling... Anyway, this time I’m here to close my account... Goodbye Ning Lai! 😑😑😑

    The dude manning the non cash counter had an absolutely awful attitude and incredibly unhelpful. The man on duty at counter A had an absolutely awful attitude and was very impatient. I really don’t know what the Bank of China is doing here.

    Hopeless inefficient receptionist, not helpful at all. All I want was to hand in a letter to the bank manager with a request and I was told to post it! I'm there in person why can't they just accept it! Very bad service.

    The new queueing system using tickets isn’t bad, just need to polish it a bit because the assistant isn’t always available. Also, why aren’t there atms inside the bank? Need to install a couple of atms, so we could do cash deposits, check and print balance/statements, etc.

    As a long term customer with more than 10 years with the Bank I could find the obvious improvement of the banking hall and more efficient service with the queuing system during the year. It was crazy busy during the summar season with mountains of Chinese students pouring in to open account and other banking service, could imagine how busy they are, hopefully they have more Human Resources to support. A good bank actually!

    The long-haired teller at the close counter has an extremely bad attitude. He treats Mandarin and Cantonese customers with completely different attitudes. They are both Chinese, so why do they have different attitudes?
