For a while, I really loved The Whisky Exchange. It used to be my go to place. Over the past few years, I’ve ordered several bottles of spirits as gifts for my former rugby lads. However, last year, I ordered two bottles of the same whisky for a 26th year rugby reunion in England, but one of the bottles was counterfeit and tasted absolutely disgusting. We ended up pouring the bottle down the drain. It definitely put a damper on our 26th year reunion. After I informed The Whisky Exchange Customer Service, I wasn’t even offered an apology or anything else to make up for the bad bottle of whisky. Since receiving the bad bottle without any action from customer service, I haven’t been able to bring myself to trust The Whisky Exchange again.

Maybe one of the most amazing places I've seen for a very long time for Whisky, Gin and Brandy! A very well laid out place and staff that really know their stuff! Can't wait to get back there and make some purchases!!

Large selection, both whisky and other liquor, though more focused on whisky. Friendly staff. Seems they host tastings as well. Can't comment on prices since I'm not local.

Amazing place for every whisky lover and collector. Huge collection of wide variety of high quality whisky from all around the world. Worth visiting even just for the opportunity to watch very rare and extremely expensive whisky bottles

One of the best whisky shops in London. They have a huge collection of single malt scotch whisky, and also japanese and world whisky. If you are a whisky collector or a whisky enthusiast, you have to visit it.

I had a lovely experience at The Whisky Exchange! I don't know much about whiskey, nor do I drink it, and was looking for a gift for my father for Christmas. The employees were so helpful, and after giving them some criteria, I was provided with a few options to pick from. I was given the space to do some research and make a decision. They were so helpful and I can't wait to gift the bottle I purchased!

The Whisky Exchange is a Whisky and Fine Spirit Shop at 2 Bedford St, Covent Garden, London WC2E 9HH. You can find so many brands of Whisky and other fine spirits. Beside normal ones, they also have a collection of old Whisky with the price up to 35,000 pounds. If you like alcohol or need to find some Whisky for gift, then you should come here for your experiences.

A nice lady helped me to find a proper whiskey!! I am no expert when it comes to liquors and hoped to buy one for a friend. The store was pretty busy but everyone was nice. :) a variety of selections with unique liquors that can only be found in this shop.

Got there to get a gift. They didn’t have what I was specifically looking for. The manager showed me some similar but also unique bottles. Overall a great place to shop.

The staff are friendly, helpful and know their stuff! There is an incredible variety to choose from and the store looks amazing! Whether you’re looking to try something new, buying a gift or looking for small sample bottles, the store can accommodate! We bought a small bottle of gin for our friend who was visiting but will be back in a couple of weeks to completely restock our cocktail cabinet!

Shopped a couple times online and picked up an order in the store. I actually prefer to shop in the store, as you can see a variety of drinks on the high shelves, like a drink library. They also occasionally have tasting so that you can try out some rare new drinks.

While searching for a gift idea, I stumbled upon a whiskey store and decided to explore. What a vast selection they have—it felt like getting lost in a whiskey forest! 🌳🌳🌳 However, there wasn't much in-store guidance for first-timers or non-experts unless you're fortunate to engage with the sales staff for insights on the whiskeys. To our delight, we also discovered a Turkish wine, "Öküz Gözü," aged in 2018 and bought it. I highly recommend this store if you have an interest in whiskey or other spirits. Cheers! 🥃

A 2 story building with great selections of whiskey and other types of liquor. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice collections of rare whiskeys, from Johnny Walker, Hibiki, to Macallan. They also have a selection of cuban cigars. It's definitely worth the visit!!!

Not just for whisky! There's a great selection of vodkas, gins, tequillas and mescals - but what makes this shop great is the helpful and friendly staff who will always lend a hand if you need it with knowledgeable recommendations and advice. These guys and gals know their stuff.

We did the private tasting with some friends, it was simply amazing ! Hannah and Anais were super nice and gave a great presentation in English and French for the crew members who didn't speak English. We learned a loooot and they took the time to answer our many questions. I 100% recommend this activity. For us, It was the best part of our Week-end in London

A bit underwhelmed. Plenty choice but not great on service. Is it policy not to have samples to taste available. Asked about a few shop exclusives to taste, they didn't have any! Not very knowledgeable when asked about cask finishes etc. Maybe I'm spoiled with many fantastic small whisky shops in the North East of Scotland . Will just stick local in future, was hoping my London trip would unearth something a bit different but not to be.

So many choices. Prices are fair, at market or slightly above, but their selection on Whiskey is absolutely ridiculous. World and American Whiskeys, they have them all. Great staff and inventory.

A fantastic range of Whisky. Service was friendly, and the knowledge of the staff was outstanding. Provide them with a challenge on a process range, and they came up with the goods.

Great selection, useful and knowledgeable staff, and an amazing oasis of whisky in central London - but almost all the bottles are marked up compared to online retailers/other places

Lovely 2 stores wooden shop. Beautiful setting :-) The stuff was friendly, smiley and very acknowledged. They offered an interesting vodka tasting session to explore the quality and the best way to enjoy the drinking experience. Will definitely follow their advice and happy to feel more confident in being able to choose the best vodka and spot the cheap quality. Thank you so much guys and can not wait to visit again and explore with you tequila and gin too 🤠

Great place to find unusual spirits, the selection of whisky is huge and the staff are happy to offer advice. There are also large selections of gin and cognac. Don't take too much money with you, it is easy to spend it! 😅

Amazing variety of whiskies in the basement with very reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and professional enough to know when to leave you on your own. Definitely my No.1 go-to-place for whiskies when in London!

Anyone interested in Whiskey... this is must-stop shop! Whether you are looking to buy or understand more about the different palates, regions and trends in whiskey, the staff are very helpful. Located on two floors; you will find a wide range of spirits from gin, vodka, beer, Porto, rum, tequila etc. on the first ground floor (along with accessories) and the lower ground is exclusive to whiskey. They offer a wide range of bottles from Scotland (separated by region), Japan, US, continental Europe, Ireland... including a generous offering on collectable and vintage bottles.
