In one word: amazing! If you go there be sure to follow the guided tour with one of the yeoman of the guard. We had the honour of having Bill leading us around with all of his enthusiasm, humour and wit. Be sure to take the Jack the ripper tour that they organise every evening (ripper yarn tours?) Which starts daily at tower hill underground station at 1840h. These are not only cheaper but way better than the commercial ones. But back to the tower now... you really get the sense of living history combined with all the grandeur of a royal palace. The only downside is the hideous monument on tower green (the coffee table with a glass pillow) πŸ˜‰

Good tour, seeing the movie and being able to relate to events thats happen here was a plus. It was wonderful going back in time, seeing the crown jewels, wish we were allowed to take pictures of the jewels. It wasnt busy when i got there later afternoon, i had 1.5 hours before closing time and i managed to see it all in a bit of an exciting rush. Do wear comfortable shoe alot of walking.

Rumour has it in the past this is where the convict is executed in years gone by. I have to say that I found the information out when I visited the premises as in the tower of London. So I have to say that the area is mind blowing, as it being steeped so much in this country's history Well worth a prolonged visit. In the future.

Love this area of London. It’s way too touristy for my liking, but its so iconic and architecturally incredible to look at and simply helps define London.

Imposing medieval fortress. An icon in London and spectacular view for photoshots. A must visit if in London, not necessarily the paid guided trip, its vicinity and historical appeal is enough to awe you.

Another amazing piece of London history. The Tower of London including the white tower, the outer walls etc. As well as Tower Bridge all viewed from a public space.

It is amazing feeling that my office is just by the Tower Hill tube station, and I have a chance to see it every day where people come to see from other side of the world. I feel quite lucky!

Tower Hill is a historic district in London located near the Tower of London. It is home to several famous landmarks, including the Tower Bridge, Tower Hill Memorial, and Trinity Square Gardens. Visitors to Tower Hill can take in stunning views of the River Thames, explore the medieval architecture of the Tower of London, and learn about the city's history at the nearby museums and exhibits. The area is also a popular destination for shopping and dining, with a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops offering a range of cuisines and souvenirs. it’s an Awesome place to enjoy the evening

Tower Hill is fantastic. Roman, Medieval, Tudor history all in one site. Great views of the Tower, river and city and close by Tower Bridge. Perfect site to start your London walk at.

An other must see stop in London, because of the history behind it and of course the Crown Jewels. It takes 2-2.5 hours to go around and spend some time in the gift shop. We were there on Thursday and it was not busy at all, either due to the working day or due to less tourists in COVID period. Highly recommended are the Yeoman Warder tours. They are free and are held every 30 min and begin near the main entrance. They and included in the ticket price but you need to wair for a group to start. I prefer real person meetings before the audio guide. We almost didn’t use the audio guide after hearing the interesting stories by the Beefeaters, the guardians of the Tower. I gave 4 stars in stead of 5, only because the ravens were with cut wings.

Take a step back in history and visit the gardens around Tower Hill. You will feel like you’ve been transported into different areas with the history that is surrounding the gardens. With beautiful sculptures which are there and the plaques to memorise the people that were hanged at Tower Hill there was something for everyone there. Recommend going if you are into mediaeval history as it will get you wanting to search up more on the lives of the people on the plaques.
