Do not stay here, I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE. Sadly my girlfriend and I did not read the reviews before booking. We knew it wouldn't be the best hotel ever but we could never have imagined how bad it really was. Moldy bathroom, stained towels and bed sheets, felt incredibly unsafe. When you walk outside the hotel you're supposed to leave your key at the reception, when you get back you simply say your room number, didn't seem like the hotel management had a clue about what they were doing and anyone could probably get the key to any room. Stay somewhere else, do yourself the favour of spending a little bit extra on a room you can actually feel somewhat comfortable in.

This was the biggest dump I have ever stayed in. Wouldn't even give it a 1 star but didn't have the option. The smell, the linen, the beds, and the combo toilet and shower in one bathroom had rust mold and duct tape on the toilet flush. My whole family felt like we needed to get flea baths and immunizations after our stay. The front desk clerk was nasty to us upon our check in and tried to convince us we had not paid in advance until we proved with our printed reservation confirmation. He didn't even apologize after having to credit our card back. It was a real crapp hole so please take this warning for your own sake.

Awful, not even worth 1 star. Arrived an hour after our booking time on 8/10/2019 to find our room was still left messy from the previous guests, and it was not offered to be cleaned for our overnight visit. Door handle came off the inside of the bathroom door, the lino tiles were coming off the floor, and the soap for the shower was WATERED DOWN! The gaps in the floor boards under the carpet were big enough to trip up on, uncomfortable lumpy bed, staff weren't particularly helpful. If I had to pick an upside, it's nice and central. Honestly, you couldn't pay me to return.

If you're not staying for to long, it's not too bad. The rooms were cleaned every day. Very close to public transport. However, the bathrooms were awful. For breakfast we got toast with jam and corn flakes only. The staff is not very kind. For baggage storage it costs £2 per bag. Would not recommend if you're staying more than 2 nights

Breakfast was good. But it could be improved by offering cocoa (hot chocolate) for children and other types of milk (you know many people are allergic to lactose). We think CLEANLINESS is the main point to be improved: there was dust on the curtains (it seemed they hadn't been cleaned for ages), on the floor, on the furniture, even on the cups. We also found waste of food on the table, hair in the sheets, stains on the towels (the receptionist told me the towels must be changed every day but they weren't), and much dirt in the bathroom (there was rust on the basin and on the shower). We knew the hotel was only two stars, but we expected it to be clean. We also found many broken things: the beds, the frames and glass of the windows, the frames of the doors, the furniture, even the walls and the shower panel.

First off, the staff at the front desk were so friendly. However, the room (#30) was very small. The first night (out of four nights) we froze, even with the space heater provided in the room. The bathroom was tiny and hard to even put pants on while in it. Mould on the ceiling in the shower. The breakfast is literally just toast and 3 types of cereal. Would not stay again.

I booked and checked out within 30 min so you can get an idea how bad it was. The few concerns I would like to point out : 1. The hotel is very messy and no toiletries were provided. 2. The bedsheets were stained and used towel was provided. 3. Manager/owner was very rude and used foul language when I asked to atleast replace the towel. He also threatened to damage my luggage if I am not around. 4. Price is a plus point but I would suggest that there are a lot of good hotels near that area with very hospitable ambience. Tbh I had worst hotel experience ever and would really not want anyone to experience the same.

I'm afraid even though a fair price for London, the level of service, cleanliness, decor and general conditions in the room are horrendous. My towel was full of yellow stains. The TV is hanging off the wall and the base of the lamp is smashed. The carpet is very stained and doesn't fit the room.. I asked for another pillow and was told no by the reception. Stay away from this hotel. I've been in cleaner travelling hostels.

Shabby and needs decorating etc. Disappointed with room. Used panty liner stuck on plastic bag inside of waste bin in room. Bathroom very tiny and hot water tap broken. Curtains would not open. Skirting boards stained. Breakfast is a rack of white toast and cereal in the bowels of the hotel. £5 for password for phone. Would not go back.

The worst hotel i have ever seen. The bed was decomposing, the tv didnt work, the heater didnt work, the bathroom was so dirty and mouldy, the carpet was so bad we had to wear shoes to walk around, t lhe great brekky they offer is just toast or cereal. The pics online are from a hotel across the road, when I complained because my room was uninhabitable they offered to put us there but of course at like 42 lbs more. They moved us to another room in the same building which was just a little better. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. Even its bad trust me it won't be as bad. And I am not picky with hotels.

I wouldn't even give it one star if it wasn't the minimum. Staff are friendly but that's the only thing it's got going for it. Shower curtain is nailed on, not even correctly so it doesn't cover all of the shower leavint eh entire floor to flood and the bathroom is tiny. The shower holder is broken so you have to hold the shower head. The curtains are covered in a thick layer of dirt and dust, no extra pillows, the carpet was discoloured and I don't want to even think about why, the air cent had dust hanging off of it, used tissue was on the bathroom floor when we arrived, overall it wasn't a clean or pleasant hotel. Don't recommend, won't be using again.

I wish it was possible to give this hotel a 0 star. Unfortunately not. There was mould and cheese or something on the floor, dust everywhere, brown stains on the bedding and towels, a large white stain on the curtains. The radiator in the room didn't work, so went and asked for a new one, the guy behind the desk said that all the radiators worked and that it just needed to be turned on, so he came to the room, the whole time talking to a friend on his mobile phone, and agreed the heater didn't work and told me to come down to the front desk in 15 minutes to see if he'd found one that worked, didn't even offer to bring it to the room. Other than that the location was good. Whatever you do, do not stay at this hotel, save your money and sleep in the street, it would probably be nicer

Please do not stay here. It is filthy, freezing cold, and the rooms are not secure. This place is horrific enough to force me to sign up for an account to leave a review. We travel a lot for work and stay loads of questionable B&Bs but I have never been bothered enough leave a review before, even the hostel in Nottingham where we found pools of blood in reception is better than this. The room was freezing, and one tiny heater was provided which after over 12 hours had still not managed to heat the room. A DUVET IS NOT PROVIDED. We would have been warmer sleeping in the coach station. The bathroom is mouldy, not just the ceiling and shower (which I half expect from places like this) but the door and walls also. It's so dirty I didn't use the shower but I've read other reviews that there is no hot water. The receptionist shouts that you must leave your room key if you leave the hotel. And when we returned to a brand new receptionist he didn't ask for my name or any details I just told him "room *number*" It seemed very unsafe and as if anyone could claim any room key. I would suggest not to leave valuables in the room. The hotel will not look after your luggage after check out though you are welcome to leave it in the unguarded reception area there is a sign staying "at your own risk." It's hopeless asking for a refund as many other reviews will tell you. Also before arriving I was sent a message the my card had not worked through the hotel website I had used to book. I had to pay again at the hotel by card meaning I have nobody to complain to to help me chase a refund. I think that the hotel may have done this intentionally.
